We were a business client of Republic services, address of 450 W Apra St, Compton, CA 90220. I personally closed our trash pick up service on 11/27/23 because we left the building. Republic Services, however, continued billing and our accountant mistakenly paid the invoices to the tune of around $7k in erroneous billing. I requested a refund around 1/25/24. It is now 3/29/24 and no one at Republic can confirm if our refund check is even in the mail. I have called Republic approximately 30 times in total, by the way. Various representatives have promised resolution and a CALL BACK, but NO ONE CALLS BACK. This company is, Im sorry, deeply, deeply inept with basic processes. I do not recommend ANY company use Republic Services.

8/27 The republic crew left glass the full length of my driveway. Guess what? It is still there as of 8/30. No one has come out to rectify the situation. Why? because they do not care about the community. I called everyday and nothing. Case number after case number or theyre working on it. Republic has displayed negligence, they lied about fixing escalating the matter and need to train their staff on professionalism. The website is a lie - they do not care about the community nor making it better. Workers are reckless and carless - theyre on the phone while on company time and the relationship desk does nothing to help or assist.

I work for the Veterans Home West Los Angeles and Melany Tamayo is our account manager, whenever I have an Emergency, and we have a project going on and we need a container, I call Melany and she makes it happen for us, Im so glad we have Republic Service on our Team.Thank you Melany and Republic you are the Best.

I placed an old couch on my curb on 04/06 and called Republic to schedule a bulk pick up which they claimed would come on Thursday 04/08. I have gotten the run around for what is now going on the third week today, I have called over 5 times and they either tell me it’ll come in a few days, it’s a delay, or I’ll have someone call you back and nobody called me back. Now homeless people are sleeping on the couch which I don’t blame them but I do blame Republic for doing the absolute poorest job! I will have to find alternatives for bulk pick ups in the near future, get it together Republic !

Run dont walk. there are better service providers out there.Republic love signing you up for a longer duration contract. however you need to realize that they will re-opt the contract for the same duration again when it expires.. if you want out of the contract you are looking at paying 6 months fees for penalty.Honestly I dont really blame Republic, their services is at best middle of the tree, but they typically charge as much as twice what the same service can be had for if you shop around, so their angle is to keep you with the company for as long as possible making escaping quite painful and distasteful, enough so that customers sticks around and hopefully forget.I found service at half the price.. yet stuck for another two years.the sales rep told me i could opt out anytime after the original 3 years was up.. turns out the sales rep was not entirely truthful or not as well-informed as I had expected.. my loss.

I subscribed to their services for my apartment building. They missed collection 3 weeks in a a row. My tenants had no place to put their trash and eventually filled up half my parking lot. I spent hundreds of dollars to clear it and had a citation from the health department. Again this week they missed collection twice. The managers and reps never return my call. This is so aggravating.

Horrible. Called 3 times for an extra service pick up and nothing. Anaheim residents need to petition a replacement. This is ridiculous. Second time with the same issue.

They miss our trash repeatedly and no matter how many times we complain nothing happens. Worst service Ive ever experienced in my life. They should change their name to garbage service. Worthless and lazy no supervisor on hand. Dont return calls. Pathetic. This company is the worst

Horrible service. And bad attitude when you talk to them by the phone I have 3 weeks waiting for my new container. And hasn’t arrived. They should take this long to process the payments too.
