In October we spent a week in this spacious, lovely villa with 4 other couples. The property was gorgeous! It included a pool, outdoor seating and dining table. The kitchen was our favorite room!!!! We spent most of the time in this room while at the villa. It was VERY well equipped and we never had the feeling of being crowded. Our chef loved the spaciousness of the cooking area. Each couple had their own bathroom. There is a pool table for those who would enjoy this too. We went on to other cities for our second week but the stay at Villa Empoli was definitely the highlight of the trip!! I highly recommend this villa with its perfect location in Tuscany and access to the Coop supermarket and nearby pastry shops.

We just returned from a fantastic experience renting a villa in the Florence region. Everything was perfect from the Villa to the services to the excursions we booked via the concierge service. I highly recommend and would definitely use this team again. Overall wonderful experience.

Our experience with the folk at Rent Villas for our stay in Italy was sensational. Fantastic accurate, timely and clear communication with us throughout the booking process and after was perfect. Nothing was too difficult and we can not recommend them more highly. Will definitely use them again.

We booked a villa in Italy two years ago via RentVillas (through VBRO website) and paid fully in advance ($4,800). Before we could go, the villa was not available anymore. We were promised to get our money back, but we are still waiting for it....

We have used the services of RentVillas twice. RentVillas is excellent to work with. We were so delighted with our stay at Donatella in the Tuscan region of Italy, that we returned again 5 years later and found it to be the same wonderful experience with a few notable improvements. The owners had added a third bathroom and their son has set up a helpful concierge service for their guests that can enhances the experiences of our stay. The owners are also processing their own organic extra virgin oil from their orchard.

The team at RentVillas were very professional and thorough. We rented a villa near Florence for a month, from Australia. Mary Kate was so responsive and the accounts team made it easy, clear and concise. The Villa Rustici was exactly as described and we couldnt have been happier. The staff at the Villa were incredible as well - all in all a completely wonderful experience.

The service provided prior to our stay was a little disjointed. Rentvillas was pleasant enough, but wasnt as well informed about the property location as it should have been. The description of the property, the pictures of the grounds and its surrounding area were accurate, however what was omitted was that this property is not convenient to any major (or minor for that matter) areas. Finding the property was a bit of a challenge on day 1, fluency in Italian saved us from getting turned around. It took a long time each day to get out of the rural area before we could set out in earnest. This was not accurately described. To get to major centers (Florence, Siena) was represented as being a lot faster and easier than it was. Bottom line is that I would have chosen another property had it been better described. The agency helped us arrange for two catered meals during our stay, both went off without a hitch. The advance deposit required well ahead of travel time, and the additional funds required at the rental was a little frustrating. The rental agency should have a better feel for the locations and the conveniences offered at their properties. Most times the agency responded fairly quickly leading up to the date of the rental. I think they need to work on how they collect fees, collect deposits, and understand the locations of their portfolio rentals. I would give the overall renting experience a “B” .

I came across RentVillas in an internet search when we decided we wanted to rent a villa on Lake Como during August of this year. I was a little reluctant to use a firm in California that I had never heard of to rent a villa in Italy. Nevertheless, I reviewed the web site and looked at the Lake Como listings. The listings were very well organized. There were extensive photos and detailed information about each villa, describing the location and amenities available. We were able to find several attractive options. I then spoke with Destiny. She was highly responsive and very knowledgeable about each of the listings and help us select the option that would best meet our needs. The booking process went very smoothly and we were well prepared for our arrival. A variety of information was sent ahead of time, including directions, a list of restaurants and things to do. RentVillas had a relationship with a local management company/concierge that was extremely helpful when we arrived. They escorted us to the property and showed us around, they arranged a car rental and provided referrals to a chef, car service and other helpful service providers. In all, our experience with RentVillas exceeded our expectations and we would definitely use them again.

We stayed at Villa Adelina for four weeks, with four different groups of 10 friends and family. The Villa, 400 years old, was rustic, quaint and wonderful in rural Tuscany, including a visiting Chef, a beautiful pool, and connections for tours. RentVillas made all of the arrangements in a timely and completer manner. Our 28 different guests thought we took care of all of the arrangements, but Destiny others at RentVillas helped make the critical arrangements and documented what we needed to do.

I have used RentVillas many times. There are many locations to choose form, though I have only had experience in France and Italy. The villa descriptions have almost always been very accurate and the service has been excellent. I only had one villa that was well below an acceptable standard and I left after one night. RentVillas was very helpful and arranged a refund from the owner.
