Renewal by Anderson is an outstanding window replacement company. Our experience was positive from start to finish--with excellent communication/follow up. The installation and finishing crew were exceptional. While Renewal by Anderson may not be the least expensive window manufacturer/installer, the adage you get what you pay for is certainly applicable based on our experience.

Renewal by Andersen of Orange County came out and was able to install 7 windows and 1 patio door in a single day rather than the estimated 2 days. They were extremely professional, considerate, and extremely hard working throughout the entire day, despite the 115 degree temperature outside. Great job guys and thank you so much!

Antonio the head supervisor was very respectful and helpful by explaining each step in the process. I never had to clean up after the work was done. These are the highest quality doors and windows. The whole team was wonderful.

They seemed to care the same about leaving my house as clean as they found it… as they did the actual job they were performing. Extremely happy with all the windows we purchased. We even noticed the temperature difference from the first night the windows were installed. The service was quick for the amount of work to be done (2 days) for 14 windows. The crew members were courteous, clean and professional. Each day, they left no mess left behind. The windows are so beautiful, strong and efficient in keeping the elements out and can open in different directions. We love them.

We just changed our windows and sliding doors with Renewal by Anderson . In two days everything was done. They removed and installed the new ones. My new windows are beautiful, high quality, energy efficient, noise buffers and security ( very hard to break). We’re so happy we used this company. The only regrets we have is that we didn’t do it sooner.

Seniors beware!The original salesman left so many details unaddressed that when they came to measure it became such a train wreck. We wouldn’t have matching framing, they wouldn’t be able to do this or that. All the stuff the salesman assured us could easily be done and all would be answered when techs came. Nope! We eventually cancelled the front door entrance which is what we actually needed. So sad. We ended up keeping the patio sliding door and regret it. It was overpriced and the administrative experience leading up to install was not pleasant.I highly do NOT recommend Renewal by Andersen from personal experience and unfortunate experiences during this contractual agreement.Although it has been a disaster and still not yet completed they didn’t hesitate to bill me for the completed job yesterday. Unbelievable in a very bad way.The correct framing around installed door is bigger than what existed; although the salesman said it would be exact same size. Now we have an awkward cut out molding - see picture. This was such a ripoff. We were lied to and they did not do as promised. The installers didn’t even tell me until after the job was done and I couldn’t do anything about it. Just awful.

After taking lots of time with back in forth discussions we decided to go with Renewal by Anderson for our window and door replacement. (single pane twin glider window to 2 awning and one picture window - length 19’ and single pane sliding door replaced to French door with side lights)We could not be happier with the results. From first contact to completion it was an as advertised experience. They were always on time. Communicated in a timely manner. And their service was as they say red carpet. I would not hesitate to recommend them if these are the type of window and doors you are looking into.A helpful tip. Get very familiar with the product lines. There are a lot of options. Have multiple ideas ready as price, style and size all work off each other. Doing this will make the initial consultation your base. Take that info and adjust plans if necessary for a follow up. When you are ready to commit, go over all options again and make any changes if necessary. After that it’s just let the process do it’s thing, of building the product, date scheduling and installation to final completion.From first contact to completion it was 4 months for our project. Which was in line with the timelines given at consult.Thank you Renewal by Anderson. Everyone was great and friendly. The installation crew were an excellent group of people and a pleasure to have working on our home. Thank you all for making this happen.

Outstanding installation team: professional, courteous and good attention to detail. We had 10 dual pane windows and sliding glass doors and 2 sets of entry doors installed. All are typical Anderson high quality products.During the 30 years we have lived in this house with numerous contractors engaged for various tasks, we have not had any come close to the quality of the Renewal by Anderson team. They had 3 trucks here for 2 days and completed the majority of the work with amazing skill and cooperation at every level.

Today Gerardo, Anthony, Michael, and Oscar installed four windows in my home today. They were on time, polite, took care of my home, helped me with taking down some blinds and putting them back up again because my husband just had foot surgery and couldn’t do it. They cleaned everything up and showed me how to open, close, take out/ put back the windows to clean them and take out the screens to wash them and put them back.

They claim to have the best material but wont honor a double lifetime warranty like other companies. Not to mention the quote was three times as much as other companies. If your product is so great for the money people spend you should have the best warranty but you dont and claim you do (other companies offfer their own product with their own installlers as well, youre not the only company). A double lifetime warranty if by far better because the second owner is still covered.The person giving the quote actually gave up on us and said their windows arent for everyone after being questioned on price and warranty. They didnt like the fact tthat we had knowledge of what we were about to purchase. Use caution and do your homework. I tried to leave a review on their own website but they wont let anyone do so, they want to choose what reviews you see on their website.

My experience with this company has been a very good one. I needed to change my front and back doors because they never worked properly. When I called renewal by Andersen of Orange County I was scheduled to get an estimate right away. The estimator showed up on time and he was very professional. His design knowledge helped me make a decision to proceed in purchasing new doors that same day. The installation team Valentin, Andy and Edson showed up on time and they too were very professional. The installation team completed the job in a timely matter and they did outstanding work. They didn’t just replace the door they replaced the frame and all of the trim. All three doors were installed and the job completed in one day. The installation team were very careful and they covered all the areas with plastic prior to starting the job. Their clean up was meticulous. My new doors are beautiful and I’m so happy with my purchase. The product and installation is beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

Renewal did an absolutely fantastic job on our door. The old door had seen better days, swelled constantly, cheap hardware, hard to open, etc. Amazing how just swapping the door provides such a huge visual change. Now, I will say that Renewal was pricey. Depending on your selections $500-$1000+ more than the other fabulous door company quoted us and obviously more costly than my friend who had a contractor install some affordable Home Depot door. While I was on the fence about going with them versus the other door company (where thats all they do), my husband wanted to go with Renewal so I figured Id give him the win. In the end, it was absolutely worth it as they have been extremely customer focused. Never late to an appointment, even early sometimes. Called before to confirm and after to make sure everything went well. Any question or concern we had (Im a wee bit OCD), they dealt with right away whether that was finding an answer or having someone double check the door in person. They very much meant that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied. Ill throw money at that kind of service and craftsmanship all day. After the headache my friend has been through with an unreliable contractor, Im so happy we chose Renewal. If I could give more stars I would. Thanks for everything!!!

I chose Renewal by Andersen because I only wanted to buy windows once and know theyll stand the test of time. Their cost is high, I was told thats due to not only the quality of the windows but also the white glove treatment. The windows are amazing, I love them but the white glove experience left something to be desired. We had lots of issues. Showing up with the wrong materials or missing materials, painters showing up without paint, workers making a mess, brought the wrong screen, screens came in months after the install but the most discouraging part is now that the frames they built around my windows have settled, there are so many large gaps, cracks, paint separation, bowing, etc. If this review and cost were just for the windows Id happily give 5 stars but because I paid for white glove services but didnt receive it I have to downgrade to 3 stars.

The salesman gave us the wrong monthly payments and it was a huge discrepancy. If I knew it was going to be that much, I wouldnt have okayed the project. Cost way too much for these kind of windows. The workers broke my computer monitor, and didnt even fess up to it until I brought it up to the company. It took a long time to get reimbursed for the monitor. Definitely going elsewhere next time.

I ordered in July 2023 a pair of full glass white doors with the same glass as a transom panel for above. It was $20,000 dollars. In December they sent my money back because they couldn’t get the glass panel above. Very poor business! We waited 7 months to have absolutely nothing!

Scheduled an in home consultation.I found the sales rep condescending. I was interrupted a lot and talked over and he seemed to not believe that I (female) am the home owner, not my male partner. He scratched my floor with his window demo leaving a long gash. I used Renewal 12 years ago and it was a no brainer to use them again for a complete large window and front door replacement. My sales rep Larissa was professional and patient with me as I picked colors and hardware for my door. Super responsive. Then Christian was professional and answered all my questions when he came to measure. Then on install day Edgar, Julio and Andrew were so attentive to detail, professional and didnt mind all my questions and pictures I took of the process that it was actually a very pleasant day. We have been a long time customer of Charlie starting in 1997. Both with Dial One and then with Renewal by Anderson. Over the years they have replaced ALL our windows and interior doors. Sadly, we have learned the hard way with their products as they are made of cheap plastic materials that do not hold up or fail over time. We spent 100K with them and they do not stand behind their products. So now we have to try to find some way to repair our windows and sliders or replace them altogether. One thing is certain, we won’t be using Renewal by Anderson in Orange County ever again. Buyer Beware.

These doors were way overpriced even with the discount. The finishing touches for the doors are equal to that of a handyman you would hire off some paid ad website, not from a company charging $30k for a 4 panel and 2 panel door. Hardware is already failing apart less than a year later. The warranty is the best part of these doors. Not recommended. Look elsewhere.

They broke my moms granite. They charged over 12K for this window. They are MIA as mom has tried to call both numbers provided many times. Needless to say, their customer service sucks.We had also asked for granite they had removed. They did not leave it.We find it sneaky and underhanded to not explain this breakage upfront.We do not recommend them.Steer clear!

As I rushed over to investigate, I found out that the scene of the litter-bugging was the result of Brandon from Renewal by Andersen. Maybe if Brandon put as much effort into protecting our environment as he did into making a sale then the community would be a better place. I was so upset to see the trash on the ground that I punched out my window in frustration. Its safe to say that Ill be taking my money for the window repair to a company with enough dignity to protect our environment. I would give zero stars if I could. Im at a loss for words right now. 😞

Tacky, desperate and misleading advertising strategy. For years we get unmarked envelopes in the mail. When you open it, it’s a scanned copy of a handwritten letter that’s actually just an ad. If they have to dupe you into opening an envelope because it looks like someone wrote you a letter, that’s a red flag! When we are ready for their services we’re going with a different local company that’s more classy with their ads. Ironic huh?

At the end of December 2022, we ordered windows & sliding doors from Renewal by Anderson Orange County. Once the windows were manufactured, professional installers came to our home to replace our old windows. Everando & his awesome crew efficiently covered everything in our house to protect our possessions, & worked diligently in completing our project in a timely manner. We had always had problems with loud freeway noise & drafts coming through our windows, but as soon as the new windows were installed, it is now peaceful & much quieter & no longer drafty. What a huge & welcome difference these windows made for us. Jim Barone came to our home two years ago gave us an Estimate for all our windows and one sliding glass door.He was thorough, patient and answered all our questions regarding the styles, quality and color. During the installation he was always available when I had any concerns. My husband and I are VERY HAPPY with the windows and the glass sliding door. The crew was neat and efficient. Everything was so well done. Our only regret is much later we had new pipes throughout the whole house installed. The individuals that Repiped our house left sloppy patch work on walls and ceiling. Finally leaving a review. Was pretty disappointed with the way our sales man handled our contract, was also disappointed in the quality of the doors compared to the windows.. however, the follow up has been extremely well done! Kurt has always been responsive and extremely fair in handling any discrepancies weve had and specifically DAN has been so good to us in fixing any problem we had at the house, often times right on the spot with whatever he had in his truck. It is specifically Dan that is finally bringing me to leave this review because of how hard he works to make sure the job is finished and how much he cares the its done right. Because of Kurt and Dan, I have now changed my mind and would recommend Renewal by Anderson to friends family and neighbors.

We ordered replacement windows from Greg and during our in home consultation, he showed us the material, the framing options and explained and demonstrated all the features of their windows. We were replacing a little bit of everything in our home... gliding windows, a casement window, a picture window and our sliding patio door. Greg gave us options for UV protection and privacy glass as needed and detailed the process for us from start to finish. Mike came out a week later to test for lead, pull permits and review our order and measurements to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Greg emailed and texted regularly to keep us updated as we went. Our order was ready a month ahead of schedule and we received calls and texts to schedule, confirm, and remind us of our appointment, making sure all was good. Antonio and his team did an amazing job of removing the old and installing the new windows. They covered everything with drop clothes and plastic, cleaned and vacuumed as they went, and put up zip walls to keep the dust and debris to a minimum. Their attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship was beyond amazing and unlike anything I have ever experienced. It was a white glove experience from A to Z. Every single employee was so respectful and courteous and 100% wanted to make sure we were 110% satisfied. We have our final window inspection and touch up painter scheduled. I imagine we will receive the same outstanding service from them as well. The low stress stellar service, and high quality items and experience we received made Renewal by Andersen worth every penny.

I purchased a French door to replace my sliding glass back door. The existing door was a vinyl door that was installed by the builder. The new door was a fiberglass composite upgraded installation. The new door completely changed the look of the house and provided a wonderful upgrade. The crew that installed the door was very professional. The work was done quickly and accurately. I recently had all the windows and doors replaced in my 3 story home (70 windows and 6 sets of patio doors). Our experience with Anderson has been far below our expectations, especially since we spent over $200k on their top of the line windows and doors. Anderson has left us with an unfinished project, scaffolding still up to this day, entire second floor inside hasn’t been painted and one window left with exposed insulation and half done. I’ve called, texted and even left a message with their general manager in Orange County about the project not being finished. They simply don’t get back to you and when we do get workers to do something they leave without finishing or telling us when they’ll return to complete the job. In fact I was left to personally cover exposed holes in our stucco which would have caused water damage to our home because of this ongoing problem of not managing the project correctly. We have no idea when they’ll finish the job but they waste no time in charging us for a completed project as I’m being billed by the finance company monthly and the project was supposed to be completed over a month ago. I would like to warn customers who have large homes to think twice about hiring them because they are very expensive and don’t seem to care about completing the work they agreed to do in the contract. Very poor experience unfortunately!

We had these Renewal By Andersen windows installed two day ago and what an incredible difference. Sound insulating is unbelievable and the R value insulating is fantastic as well. The crew was professional and all business. Refugio ran the show and nine installers showed up day one at 8am. They immediately started putting up plastic dust protection and laying down floor runners they had our 15 windows removed and reinstalled on the first day and only three of had to come the following day for about two hours to finish up the trim and caulking on two of the windows. Kudos to Greg, Allen, Chris and Edgar but the whole crew was great. I have a bit of touch up paint to do but well worth it. We had wanted to do this for several years and finally bit the bullet and pulled the trigger and we couldnt be happier with Andersen.

Previously last year I had my windows replaced by Renewal by Andersen of OC. They did such a great job with the windows that I decided to have them replace 4 entry doors. They did not disappoint. Our new front door from Renewal by Andersen was installed today. The door is beautiful and the installation team of Oscar G. and Richard N. did a great job! The entire work area was well protected and and all dust and debris was cleaned up (probably cleaner than before they started). We just had 8 sliding glass doors replaced by Renewal by Andersen of Orange County. The four gentleman who installed our doors were Casey S, Vicente M, Oscar C and Alfredo P. It was a 3 day job Our salesman had touted the professionalism of the company so we had high expectations. Casey was the lead guy. Very calm and attentive. The 4 of them didnt say much in those 3 days, they had their rhythm down, each knew exactly what their role was, what needed to be done. They were very careful to cover furniture with plastic, to set down cloths in the driveway so that our concrete did not get damaged or stained, and when the job was done, they cleaned both inside and outside to do their best to get our home back to what it was before the project. We paid a premium for our doors but we are very happy with the product, we are very happy with the professionalism of the crew and would be happy to recommend this company. Weve had a week to detail each of our doors and there are some minor tweaks/adjustments that will need to be done but we are confident Renewal will come back to make sure we are 100% satisfied.

We recently installed a sliding door and a dining room window. As we researched products, Jeff from Renewal came to our home and spent quite a bit of time explaining their product. There are monetary incentives for ordering from him immediately.We do not make rash decisions. I was very excited when Valentin and Johnathan Perez showed up yesterday to install my new patio door. The door is better than what I thought it would be it make my great room look amazing the guys did a wonderful job installing it you can’t even tell that it was a new installation the door looks like it been there all the time especially with the blinds made in between the glass making the room look very elegant. In June we met with Matt, a sales representative of Renewal by Andersen Orange County. His presentation was clear, concise, and detailed to provide the specifics about the differentiation of the Renewal by Andersen product compared to the competition. The windows were installed and finished today. Everything--absolutely everything--the company expressed would happen, did happen. Communications about the install were clear. Time lines were met with high quality performance. Rarely does a company exceed their promises, but Renewal by Andersen of Orange County did! Following Matts presentation, Mike B. came the next day to take the exact measurements. Jacqueline called with follow up information and updates on our schedule. Our installers were terrific! Omar and Freddie were on time, professional, and their workmanship was clean and precise. They protected our furniture and carpet. They maintained a tidy worksite and cleaned everything inside and outside upon departure. Finally, Frank D. came to paint the moulding today--also excellent. Besides the professionalism and excellence of the product, communications, and workmanship among all members of the team, each and every person was delightful and a pleasure to welcome into our home. Great all around experience. Mason and Michael were formative and helpful when explaining, selecting, measuring.and ordering our windows. Jacqueline was very.helpful when scheduling measuring and installation appointments. Jose and Christian were extremely good and thorough during the installation process . Their.concern for our furniture and home was above our expectation and their clean up of our house and yard was impressive. Above and beyond our expectations. The windows look and operate great!

I hired Renewal by Anderson to install some large windows as replacement for some old single pane ones. The craftsmanship on the new windows is outstanding, and the Anderson team has been great to work with. We had our windows Installed yesterday October 3rd 2019. They were installed by a team of three Jose the lead, Joseph his assistant and Robert the detail guy. When they came out they greeted me properly introducing themselves and checking out the job. They immediately got to work and worked with precision and a coefficient team. I watch there every move and did not have to tell them how to do there job as I am a builder and very picky about how things are done. Once they had completed Jose showed us how the windows operated and how to remove screens and clean windows. We did the paperwork and he said they would send us a form to fill as a review. Most places push you to give them good ratings but they did not only asked me to fill it out. They were very friendly and nice to have in our home and even though they ran into problems they fixed them without hesitation and kept me informed of what they were doing.

We are totally pleased with the windows and patio door slider we had replaced...excellent quality and workmanship. The installation by Omar M., Christian x. and Joel M. was very well done from preparation to finishing. Marco did a fine job the next day with touch up and paint and assured us of follow thru of some questions we had. We had a very positive experience with Renewal by Andersen and plan to replace the remaining windows in our home.A couple of years later, we asked Andersen Renewal to fix a window pull and latch where the screws had come away from the frame and would not tighten. Service Technician, Daniel H., did a great job repairing and securing the the hardware. We had Andersen Renewal install window pulls to enable ease of opening and closing the windows, but we need to be careful not to bump the pulls against the window frame.

I really dont see how our crew (Casey, Joseph, and Josh) could have been any more professional. They did a great job on the door and window installation and were very pleasant to work with. They even avoided messing with our nice hardwood casings on the inside of each slider, which made me very happy. Our windows look absolutely beautiful and we couldnt be happier. They even sent Carlos Gutierrez to touch up a couple days later. Everything looks immaculate.

We finished installing about fifteen windows (phase2) in our hour house and the work was beautifully done because of the amazing José I, Joseph Z, and the whole crew (Luis, Christopher, Juan, Arthur, Julio) They were very respectful, knowledgeable, listened to our concerns during the installation, and always careful to protect our furniture and not to make mess. They also left our place clean. I have to add that José did a great job finding a solution to a complicated issue while installing three of the huge windows. He was smart and meticulous in his work, I was very impressed but also appreciative for him to take the time doing the work so everything looked at the end GREAT. The whole crew was amazing. It is very hard to find people who work like that these days. We have met many many workers and contractors from different companies in the last three years while renovating our house but they were not as good and many were just awful. In fact, all the people, from Renewal by Anderson, who came to our house in phase one and phase two were great.I have to add that Fernando S. Who came later on to touch up the paint was amazing as well. Also respectful, clean, meticulous, and knowledgeable.We will for sure ask for José and his crew to come back when we decide to move on to phase three and replacing the rest of the windows. We were very pleased with the quality of our new windows by Renewal by Anderson. In addition, the professional and courteous technicians, Jesus and Joel were extremely efficient and did a terrific job. They were in and out in a timely manor with little disruption to our day and the windows look great!! We are very pleased with the results. Although the windows are on the expensive side, they are well worth the extra cost for a product that is beautiful and will last.
