Remy helped my fiancé and I purchase our first home together here in the East Bay. Given that we were completely new to the process we had a lot of questions, and Remy was outstanding throughout, answering everything we asked (super quickly) and giving us confidence that we had an expert on our side. At the start of the process we set up search parameters with Remys online system and were easily able to browse and see when things came up we might be interested in. Remy was quickly able to set up viewings for us, and always offered useful perspective on the properties we saw, the pros/cons and on things he would do to improve it. He was never at all pushy, always gave an honest opinion (good and bad), and it was a pleasure to search with him. The first offer we put in, Remy took time to talk us through the disclosures package and gave us excellent advice on putting together a strong offer. The offer was accepted, we were thrilled and Remy was always on hand as we were going through the mortgage/escrow process. He helped us get in touch with an excellent mortgage broker who we worked with. Overall, we cant recommend Remy highly enough, he is a true professional, knows the market and the process inside out and is a personable, decent human to top it all off.

Remy was amazing!! He was with us every step of the way. He gave trusting advice about the proper offer to make, quality of the homes we were looking at, when to walk away and when to push forward. His knowledge and patience got us through the process and we just closed on our first home together! We will definitely return to Remy for the purchase of our next home and will refer all of our family and friends in their home buying process.

Remy is absolutely a phenomenal agent. We bought our home with him originally, and just sold it with him as well. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience from start to finish. He made great recommendations for improvements to be made prior to listing, did a fantastic job with the updates, handled all of the contractors and work that was being completed while we were already out of state, did a great job with the stager/photos/3D tour, was strategic with the pricing, and ended up getting us 7 competing offers, with an accepted offer $200k over asking.As unpredictable as the Bay Area housing market can be, its a huge relief to work with an agent you can trust. I have full faith in Remys local knowledge, expertise, and honest guidance in making informed decisions. Thank you Remy for making what can often be a very stressful process, quick, easy, and better than expected!

I cannot recommend Remy enough. If you are looking for a realtor in the Bay area, this is the one. Remy was friendly, responsive, on top of things, communicative, knowledgable and helpful every step of the way. This was my first home purchase and Remy always took the time to make sure that I was aware of as well as understood what was happening. Remy knows the area as well as the other people in the industry, and can help get things done. Most of all, the thing that I appreciated about Remy is that he always felt like he was on my side. The home buying process can be intimidating, and Remy constantly went to bat for me with Lenders, Title Company, Developers, etc. I wouldnt hesitate for even a second to recommend Remy to friends and family (Ive already done so, even when they arent looking yet) and will without a doubt go to him for any future needs.

This was our first home buying experience, and Remy was awesome. We knew that we eventually wanted to move out of SF and started out passively looking at homes in Alameda and Oakland. Thats how we first got connected with Remy.Over time we opened up to Orinda and eventually set our eyes on Walnut Creek when the pandemic hit. After a year and half of countless viewings and never quite finding the right fit, we finally found our dream home. Remy helped us close very swiftly.Remy was very responsive, personable, informative, and never pushy throughout the whole process. We highly recommend working with Remy!

Remy Weinstein is one of the best realtors we have ever had. My wife and I met Remy while looking to relocate from Los Altos to Oakland. After first meeting Remy, we knew we wanted him to help us find a new home in Oakland. Remys knowledge of the East Bay real estate market is unparalleled. It took us about 6 months to find the house of our dreams and Remy was very patient and understanding with us all along the way. Never pushy, always there when you were ready to start looking again. When we finally found what we wanted, Remy was able to navigate the bidding and closing process without any hiccups or anxiety. Great customer service and always willing to do whatever we needed to make us happy (especially my wife!). We ultimately considered Remy not just our realtor, but our family friend.

I selected Remy based on the reviews on Zillow, Yelp and Google. He has glowing reviews and he lived up to it. We found him pleasant to work with and very professional. He was very responsive on any questions via email, text or phone. We ended up buying a home through him. During the escrow process, he guided us through all disclosures, escrow documents etc. He also help us out with getting home insurance, property manager and contractors. He was always willing to accommodate our requests. We are very happy with his overall service.

Long story short: Remy is THE guy you want on your team when buying or selling a house.Long story medium: We worked with Remy and his associate Dan Silvert in a buyers agent capacity and do not have enough great things to say. Its absolutely no wonder hes Zillows consensus #1 agent in the East Bay. Simply put, Remy is an absolute wizard who can spin a ridiculous number of plates at once without dropping a single one, and all the while he operates with a tremendous amount of integrity. The exact combo you need in an agent. If you feel like knowing more, read on...Long story long!As a sales professional myself I place a high premium on honesty, consultative expertise, and the same degree of impatience-with-flexibility energy I operate on. I can sniff out when someone is full of it. Remy is the realest deal.We lucked into working with Remy as we were working with his now-associate Dan Silvert, and just as our search kicked into gear, Dan joined forces with Remy to form an agent dream team. We felt so fortunate to get to benefit from both of their skillsets (and will write a separate review for Dan who is tremendous as well).As first time home buyers in the tough Bay Area market, we didnt really start off with much knowledge of what to look for. In our first offer scenario - in the first call we ever had with Remy - he told us he noticed in the inspection report that the sellers hadnt performed test holes in the stucco and he couldnt in good faith advise us to waive the inspection contingency even though it likely meant our offer would get the boot. The first thing out of Remys mouth to us is something you wouldnt expect a realtor to tell you: advising you to make your offer less attractive to protect yourself. We did lose the offer; he assured us itd all play out for us in the end.On the fourth house, Remy is the listing agent. I call him to ask how dual agency will work here and he says something to the effect of, hey, Im sorry to cut you off here but just to get way in front of it - I dont do dual agency, its a conflict of interest. Well get you connected to another great agent in the area for this house if you make an offer. Everyone I told about this - our parents, my manager, etc. - had their jaws hit the floor. Dual agency should be a realtors golden ticket dream, but Remy places a higher premium on his reputation and relationships knowing that doing right, in the long run, plays out better than cashing double checks. At this point if Remy told us to jump off a cliff wed do it knowing there was good reason he was recommending it and itd all work out (he never asked us to jump off a cliff, metaphorically or literally).On the fifth house, he and Dan advise us on how to position the offer and that our chosen lenders COE time was too long for this market. He intros us to Brady Thomas (Team Thomas at LaSalle Mortgage ... I wrote an equally long-winded review for them too) who also turns out to be an absolute wizard.The next morning we get THE call - sellers accepted, no counter offer. The appraisal comes in OVER the sale price, so were walking in with tens of thousands in equity.Collecting keys tomorrow after a completely turbulence-free escrow... and we couldnt have navigated it without Remy and Dans help.And from what we saw with his listings, his remodel, staging, and marketing game is absolute fire. Anyone not working with Remy is leaving SOMETHING on the table. Time, money, information, something.Oh, and he advised us on how to save money on items in the inspection report and connected us to his network of GCs, electricians etc. who I have to imagine will be every bit as epic as Remy and everyone else we met in his orbit.I have a hard time believing theres a better Bay agent than Remy or team than Remy & Dan.

Results speak: When Remy sold my place recently, according to the MLS it was the first condo in Emeryville to sell for 7 figures. Why does Remy produce all sorts of record making numbers? I believe a key factor is that Remy has an excellent touch for assessing his clients’ needs, targeting his sales strategy accordingly, and providing the type and amount of guidance and focused support necessary to hit realistic and even aspirational goals. In my case, the caring and assistance that Remy and his team gave to my needs and circumstances, as a person with disability suddenly faced with a need to move quickly, was both cherished and invaluable.It is by no accident that Remy’s online reviews are all 5 Star! He is a go-getter, a service oriented, savvy and results focused pro, the sort of person I feel jazzed to work with, and at or near the top of his game.
