I was a Chase client and thought I would refinance with them since it would be easy because they have all my information however thought I should reach out and just test the waters but never really thought I would change. Fastest & Easiest Refi Ever!I wasnt even looking to refinance. We already had a pretty low interest rate. Plus the last time we refinanced, it started out as no fees, but by the end, they snuck in a lot of fees. My story with Relfin goes back 8 years. I knew back then we had a new business that we put our heart, sweat, tears, and every last dime into, And that would leave us a while to experience home ownership. Lucky still took the time for me and my wife to get a snap shot of where we were so we can come up with a plan and a map to buy a home. We followed that plan to a T and last year when we met with Lucky again we all celebrated because we were able to finally qualify for buying a home. In March this year we closed well within our means and easily within the guidelines of the underwriters. Lucky was with us every step of the way for our Journey. My history with Relfin goes about 5 years back, when we lived in the south bay and were in the market to find a new home. I had talked to a few real estate vendors/brokers and things didnt look very promising due to a several constraints I was dealing with. On a recommendation from a friend, I called lucky and the next 15 minutes changed my life. He was not only very friendly, he also explained to me clearly what my options were. Over the next 3 months, he worked very closely with my family to make sure I could keep my current home in the south bay as well as buy a new one in Danville. He was with us all the way helping us navigate every obstacle we came up against, and made sure we got the best deal possible. In the process, he became a dear friend and brother to me, and a trusted advisor for my family.Without a doubt in my mind, I would highly recommend Lucky and RelFin mortgage for all financing needs. Contacted me the same day I reached out to them. I met with them one time and decided to use them for my refi. They promised that they could close in under a month and that they would work to beat anyones rates. Sure enough, after checking rates over the course of a few days I decided to lock with them. Afterwards, I received several other offers from other brokers and no one beat their rates or costs. As promised, from the first day I talked to them to closing my loan was 17 days. Thats how fast they worked. Just excellent.

My wife and I had the privilege of working with Lucky. I tried looking at other lenders, but I quickly learned that costs and APR are pretty competitive from lender to lender. Ive learned that what matters more is the service, responsiveness, and helpfulness of the lender.Buying a house is a headache to say the least. To make the process easier, you must have a solid team that you can count on that is willing to go to bat for you.Relfin was recommended to me by my Realtor, Lana Carreira. She raved about how fast and helpful they were with her previous clients, so I thought I needed to check Relfin out. After quickly looking at reviews and talking to Lucky, I was not disappointed.Lucky was humble and knowledgeable. He was transparent and clearly had my best interest in mind. He was friendly and patient and even commended me with checking out his competitors. I truly appreciated how he was even willing to come to my place at 9:00 on a Friday night just to be present for Notary signing. It truly showed how dedicated he was to making sure my wife and I were taken care of.Josie was the coordinator of this experience, and though I didnt have the privilege of meeting her, she too was exceptional and fast at everything that she did.I look forward to working with them again.The only real downside I see is that most mortgage companies do not have a great mobile/web experience like rocket mortgage. In the grand scheme of things, it doesnt bother me too much as I will just be setting things to autopay, but modern tools matter a LOT to me. That being said, I much prefer working with business that depends on your great experience than a faceless team of people that just happen to have a fantastic app.The lender Relfin picked out for us is UWM (United Wholesale Mortgage). They do not have an app, nor is there any clear documentation on whether recasting is an option. It would would be nice to have that option available, although I do understand that Id likely be better off investing the money rather than paying a lump sum to lower my monthly payment.Im sure that the technological landscape will change in the next ten years, so hopefully mortgage companies will be more on board with modern practices. This was my 5th home buying/selling transaction and each time before (with different lenders), the loan slowed things down, but this time, it was the opposite.Navdeep spent many late hours trying to get everything together and she kept me updated at all times. Lucky guided me every step of the way and was available to answer questions almost 24x7. His response time is incredible and his commitment to his work is unparalleled. He is extremely thorough and explained all costs upfront, so there were no surprises later. He reviewed the closing statement with me the morning of closing and the closing went faster than expected. (And the mobile notary who does tens of closings every month told me that it was hard to beat this interest rate).Lucky went above and beyond in also helping resolve an issue with sellers’ closing not relating to the loan, even after the loan was disbursed and their job was done. In a sellers market, when each house had multiple offers, I could put in a solid no loan contingency offer, with a short closing time, only because of their work.I have referred them to many friends and will gladly use them again for any future real estate transactions. My husband and I used RelFin recently for both a mortgage while buying a home and then again for a refinance. Both times, the service and rates were excellent, and I really like their ability to search multiple lenders for the best deal. As a smaller business, you get very personal service. They know the ins and outs of mortgages and give you the opportunity to ask any questions on your mind and are able to give very knowledgeable answers.They also are able to get everything closed efficiently. My agent told us she had 3 purchases that were supposed to close the same day as ours and the others were delayed because their mortgage providers didnt have everything ready. On my refi, my sister started her process with another lender around a month before me, and I was closed before she was. Given my great experiences, my brother, sister, and even my sisters neighbor have now all gotten in touch with RelFin.
