I purchased a $1,200 oscilloscope listed as non working for $150. I asked to questions about the scopes history and they promptly responded confirming the scope wasnt already had a repair attempt or been tampered with inside. I was able to replaced some bad electrolytic capacitors and bring it back to life.

Gary was very kind and informative. It was my first time pawning (I was referred here by my friend who said this was the spot to be). Gary explained the entire process to me. There was also another gentleman who walked in who said he only goes here because this is the best shop in the area (100 miles). Everyone that comes here seems to be happy and it’s no surprise why.

One of the all around best experiences I’ve had with buying a guitar sight unseen. The shipping was immaculately handled and the quality of the shipping container means no guitar will get broken during shipping which means a lot. My wife & I visited Reliable Pawn Shop on Sunday, 9/30/23. We were helped by Gary, who had helped me on our previous visits. We went there to sell some gold jewelry. Gary offered a very fair price for the gold (actually, more then we were expecting). I also spotted a few items I wanted to buy.... an equipment bag, some music memorabilia and a piece of motorcycle table decor that he sold at a good price.As far as customer service, Gary is very helpful & friendly and always greets you when you enter the shop.Ive been to 2 other pawn shops in the past here in Simi Valley and didnt feel I was getting a fair price on the gold items I was selling or on items I may have wanted to buy. This is a great pawn shop. Hidden in beautiful Simi Valley. But when I came upon it, I got very lucky. The owner Gary is incredible. I have never taken the time to write a review about a business before, but please read this if you have a minute. This is the greatest business Ive had the privilege of stumbling upon in years. Having to take a loan out on your most priceless possession can be very difficult and sad, but Gary and his brother were so respectful and reasonable that I have no insecurities about leaving my instrument with them. I used to go to the Simi Pawn shop right down the street from them and was treated abusively and never left the store without arguing with the owner. Gary was so pleasant and grateful for my business that it makes me sick thinking about going anywhere else. In my case, I took a loan out on a very valuable instrument and Reliable Pawn Shop researched my saxophone and allowed me to take out a loan amount that was very fair for my collateral value. They offered to loan me WAY more than I thought they would, three times more than Simi Pawn! And when I told them I didnt need as much as they offered, they respected my decision and didnt pressure me to do anything I wasnt 100% comfortable with. They let me direct the conversation and didnt give me a pitch at all. They also have an amazing selection of high quality items, the likes of which Ive never seen at a pawn shop before. I told them about items I was looking for and they took down my information to call me when something I might be interested in came their way. Sorry this review is so long, but I havent had such a great experience at any store that can compare to their service. I am a life-long customer to these fine gentlemen now and I highly recommend that you pay them a visit even if it means going out of your way. I love you guys at Reliable Pawn!

In light of what Ive heard about Pawn Shops and my experience at the others, I was not going to stop at any more. When I first walked in there the guys seemed excited to find for me what I wanted which is rare because most pawn shops make you feel not welcome. Long-time patron/customer since they opened. Everyone there is always more than willing to help me w/what I need, theyre more than fair w/their loans and always have an up-beat attitude. The best part though is their wide array of inventory w/electronics, movies, sports memorabilia, gameing, music equipment, tools, jewelry, air-soft etc theyre literally a one-stop shop w/prices that are hard to match.

This place is GREAT i went in a bought a bass amp. the other day..and they where very fair on the price.not only did they give me a great deal on the amp. they also gave me a great deal a silver pinky ring and fuji camera....most pawn shops seem shady but this place is wonderful and people inside are very nice and ARE VERY FAIR !!!!....great pawn shop !!!!!!

This is a great place, particularly for musicians...if youve got a need, from a cord to an audio interface, an instrument to a microphone, this is your one-stop shop. I was in and out in about five minutes, I bought a quality piece of equipment, and Im not gonna bother with any other pawn shop. You want to come here.

Ive been to a bunch of pawn shops and they all suck ass compared to these guys. Great prices and they work with you rather than trying to take your valuables. I wont go anywhere else. Oh i forgot to mention the great stuff they have too for a great price. They really are reliable
