So much fun! I took my niece for her first time. Their jump scares were perfect and got me screaming at times. Amazing sets and scenery. Great lighting techniques. A must if you love haunted houses. Get tickets in advance.

This was our first time here. The wait was over an hour. Bring comfy shoes. The performances were about 30min total. We enjoyed the experience and we definitely recommend!

Fantastic place for a scary night. It was super crowded when we went at the allotted time and got in much later. But it was worth the price of admission. There was a lot of attention to detail in each and every room and it was a fun experience.

Reign of Terror is absolutely amazing! This was our 5th year coming here and I prefer this over Universals Horror Nights any day! I love the fact that you only wait in line one time and then all of the different haunted houses are connected. From the time we got in line to when we left was only 1.5 hours which is amazing! The effects are incredible and get better every year! The actors do a great job scaring you. I know this because my wife almost broke my hand by squeezing so hard! Haha but seriously go check out ROT, you won’t be disappointed! The tickets are $30 for General Admission and $55 for Immediate Access which makes it very affordable for a great night out.

Very short, fast paced hunted house for highschool kids. You’ll be sweating inside because it’s very hot. Drove over an hour to come here from LA and left indifferent about it.I’ve been to a couple hunted houses and this goes on the bottom. They have good props and it seems like it’s maintained well. However, it’s very short, more like 15-20 minutes for $30 (general admission). Or it feels like it is because there’s always a group rushing you from behind or the crew will keep you moving fast. You’re speedwalking the entire thing. You don’t get to really enjoy it. They have cool contraptions and good themed rooms. Some parts feel icky and gross because you have to use your whole body to pass through and hundreds of people go through the same thing each day. If you suffer from claustrophobia, acrophobia or selaphobia, this is not for you!Also, it’s 90% of the attendees are kids. There are 3 actors scaring people while in line and a couple live actors during the maze but not enough to get a terrifying scare. Most are props and maybe a dozen or so actors. The line can get intensely long later in the night so come before 8pm.If you live in LA, I suggest trying other hunted houses. Although other places are more expensive, you’ll be experiencing scare for longer.

Very elaborate and detailed monster maze with lots of gotchas and jump out at you shocks. Lots of fun, but some of the lighting effects are extreme. Well worth it.

I went to the lights on tour with my children. It was beyond awesome. Cant wait for my husband and I to go by ourselves to get to see all of the rooms in the dark! 15 out of 10. Loved it!

Ive been to Halloween Horror Nights 3 times and enjoyed it immensely except for the long lines. I really liked this alternative haunted house event because it had only one line which wasnt super long (we went at 7:10 pm on a Saturday with tickets bought in advance), the price was reasonable ($40 for general admission), it was closer than the amusement parks, and the maze was long. It took about 30 minutes to walk through and I screamed and laughed a lot. It had a wide variety of rooms, scare actors, moving props triggered by sensors or people, and two very trippy rooms involving lights and darkness. I definitely recommend this place if you like being scared!

100% worth the wait. We just finished but did weight about 75 minutes. I highly recommend getting the immediate access pass. That was almost empty and we would have been in within 10 minutes. The attention to detail in every room was very good and all the staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to go again next year, but with the immediate access pass.

I only took the daytime tour with the lights on because I’m an absolute chicken. We only got to see 3 sections and they production quality was amazing, even with the lights on. I think that says a lot and I truly won’t survive the actual tour. High recommend!

Best haunted house experience Ive ever had. First time and we loved it. Props and rooms were scarey, gorey and done so professional. Animated creatures were amazing and scarey. And thank you live actors and their part in adding to the gorey scenes, screams and adventure. All the rooms and areas were top of the line scream making experience. Highly recommended to go.

Weak, short and overpriced for what it is. 35 for standing in 90+minutes and a additional 15 for fast pass which just lets you skip the entrance line. No other perks. Maze is actually well thought out and coordinated. But price points hardly justify the end. Mainly for kids.

For months I havent shut up about how good this haunted house is to friends and family. I enjoyed it so much during Halloween I was excited to see they do a Christmas rendition of it. The time and effort they put into the production is evident and unlike any walkthrough Ive experienced before. Usually these things dont scare you but this one does a really good job of making sure that they do which makes it fun and worth it. On top of that, the staff was super accommodating and I cant thank them enough for making sure we felt comfortable when we mentioned a health concern specific to our party prior to entering. Affordable and wont disappoint. Highly recommend.

An incredible experience.We were a group of 5, youngest child is 12 years old. We all had a blast! One of the best things we’ve done on our trip. Even the line was entertaining. It was truly a unique experience, and we highly recommend it for tourists like ourselves.

So.. Reign of Terror (R.O.T.) - Does not dissapoint! Total Ghoulies and creepies and scary things that go bump in the night! Im 51, and still enjoyed the s**t out of it!The line? Yeah, that was 1 hour 45 min, but you can buy the VIP pass and only wait 25 min. Im cheap, and brought my teenage kids, so we toughed it out with everybody else.....The inside waiting area is similar to last year, with the video that starts the deal off. Once thats over? Its showtime!A group of 4 is the perfect size. Group of 6 or morem Too many.Have fun and beware!

We go to all the haunts we can during the season and this is by far one of my favorites. Actors are great, animations are awesome, scenes are epic everything is just perfectly scary sbd fun. Really cool setup and props. We went on a Sat. night and paid for front of the line passes. We also drive an 1 hour and 11 minutes to this venue. All in all if you are coming from far away, plan to go to a movie or dinner while you’re near before the event. It’s located at the Janss Marketplace so there’s lots to do before. We got in fast but it was still crowed inside and a few bottlenecks inside. You saw what was coming because there were many folks ahead of you. Still cool to visit if you plan on doing other activities

You have to appreciate all the attention to detail. All the sets are well done and the scare actors really go for it. It’s a little short at roughly 30 minutes, but that’s to be expected considering it’s location. It’s a testament to the quality of the maze that you leave wanting more. Bonus points to them for running an event at the halfway point to Halloween.

My kids and I LOVED it. The only negative is the long line, but it’s only long because it’s totally worth it. The jump scares are great, but even more amazing it the detail in each room. When we purchased these tickets, we had no idea it was going to be in a strip mall let alone above a Golds Gym. We went in with an open mind and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The production value that went into this is simply amazing. The props were incredibly real, the sets were beautifully crafted, and the scares were so authentic. I havent had a good time at a haunted house like this in years. GA is $25 and VIP is $40. Highly recommend VIP. We passed by at least 250 people in line at 9pm and waited 20 minutes to get in. 10/10 experience

I heard a lot of good stuff. It was good quality overall but the line was long and we got stuck behind a group that kept stopping and wouldnt move forward. Was a let downUpdate 2022: We still got stuck behind people that stalled the experience but was fun regardless. The new attractions are great and the line was pretty quick. We did end up getting held up at wait points probably to allow some spacing between groups. Id say its a good place to visit for the price. I was scared even when I was expecting it. What can I say if you like spooky, creepy scares this is a maze to enjoy. I didnt expect the effort nor love . But Reign of terror really put the love in the art, make up, and surroundings . Makes you feel like you entered a whole different world ones you have step foot in to the Reign of terror. Id definitely return for a another Halloween night. We came back on December to check out the Christmas version and wasnt too happy about it but definitely would be back for Halloween.

Very entertaining. For years the family and I have been going to Universal Halloween Horror Nights but the prices just became unmanageable. This is a great alternative and a much better bang for your buck. The props, the actors, the GORE...,,,WOW! This will become part of our yearly halloween traditions. We’ve been here numerous times over the years and the set design/construction is fantastic. Amazing atmosphere! Sometimes the scare actors can be hit or miss, but that’s fairly common with haunted attractions. This past halfway to Halloween event was superb, as the scare actors were actually scaring (quite effectively and creepily) as opposed to constantly yelling. Thank you!

A great selection of rooms to go thru with an immense amount of props, but I was unhappy with the hour+ long wait to get inside. Walking thru was really crowded and with people so close In front and behind chatting away, it took from our experience. The only part that was disturbing/thriing was when we couldnt see in front of us a d had to feel our way thru. Lasy, it felt like every jump scare missed us, due the incredible overcrowding. I wouldnt go back.

Great, the scenery for each maze was amazing, staff friendly making sure you get a real scare, each maze had its own theme and effects, timing is key for visitors to enjoy and the staff is on cue they did their best to make sure everyone gets a jumpscare and had a halloween spirit. Wow! I live nearby and this is the first year Ive checked this out! Worth the money for sure! Waited in line for about an hour, which compared to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, is nothing! A couple years ago went to Universal for Horror Nights and waited in line for more time than any of the mazes took to walk through! This is an 8 part maze, with one line to wait in and a 30 minute walk through! Didnt buy the VIP passes because didnt think spending an extra $10 a person was worth getting through maybe 20 minutes faster? But I guess that depends on the date you are going and if you can get there early. I suggest getting there before 7 and getting tickets online for 7pm since thats the first time slot. For $20, free parking and a great scare totally worth it!! Looking forward to next year!

Great haunted house! The effects and actors do a fantastic job of giving you a good scare or getting your heart racing. The house is a bit kid-friendly, if you have kids that can tolerate some scary moments. The staff does a pretty good job of crowd control too, so your scares arent being ruined by too big of a group. You pretty much stay with the group you came with or get clumped with (if youre alone or a group of 3 or less) throughout the house. The walk lasts about 45 minutes. Overall great place to go for some haunted fun.

But this place is big, 130 rooms of trash. U might as well go to Knotts or any other haunted theme park. $30 for a my walk thru with minimal scare factor. We decided to not take the kids, bad decision. Im sure they would have enjoyed more than we did. Please, spend your money on on theme park haunted houses rather than this scam of a haunted house. Unfortunately we kept getting backed up and then nobody was getting scared cause 14 people were stuck together at times which unfortunate. They did unclog us a few times but it wasnt long enough. IF i would of bought the express pass I would of been disappointed due to backup.Id go again. Just maybe try to pick a less busy day. Superb. Detailed. Well thought of. Reasonably priced.Ive been to several haunted houses in SoCal and nothing compares to this place.I went on a Sunday night around 7:00 PM. The total wait time was around 1 1/2 hr. Not too bad considering we waited for two hours for one maze at Knotts Scary Farm.With several mazes built into one, the transition between themes is good. The human props and automated human props are nearly impossible to differentiate.We went as a group of 4 which seems to be the minimum group count.All in all, I left impressed with the Reign of Terror and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good haunted house in SoCal.

Forget all the big brand scary farms and the like. ROT is the best by far. Not only is it the equivalent of about 6 or 7 mazes at one of the big pro haunts. It costs about a quarter of what they charge. They have a partnership with the city that allows them to keep the scare up all year round and work on it all the time. so each year they add more and make it better. unlike these other haunts that have to tear it down at the end of the season they are able to keep it up and just build on it. If you like Haunted houses this is one of the best in the country. Do yourself a favor and go!!

Weve been here for the last 4 years and have always enjoyed it. One of the best...a bit dissappointed this year that the photographs were lost. The customer service wasnt very helpful when they referred me to the photographer and she never responded. Would have given it higher rating! Oh well. I guess they dont care about that.

The writer are correct this is the best and scariest haunted house in SoCal. They change it every year and it keeps getting bigger. The attention to detail is amazing, just wish I had had more time to examine the detail but I was too scared to even stop for a little while. You never know when something or someone was going to pop up some where. There were place where I swear there was dead people in the room only to have them jump up in you face. Only thing I found wrong was it was a little too warm in there and it seamed a little too short even though I been through 100 rooms. I didn’t want it to end. These guys must be movie set designers with all the details put in.

Gone to every major scary maze in southern California and was sceptical this could really beat them all. Lights out was by far the scariest thing Ive ever experienced. I never scream in mazes and this one got me badly in almost every room.

This place is so wrong it really upsets me that it’s set up as a family place.. I love scary stuff, like giant spiders and Skelton’s jump out at you scary but naked woman being roasted on a stick? And torture chambers? Human bodies with faces ripped off? Electrocution? So much stuck in my head I can only imagine from a kid’s perspective.. WTH are they putting in children’s minds??? Seriously appalled at the lack of judgement here.
