Great movie theatre! Nice parking lot, and easy access. Staff is friendly and on top of it! Highly reco the matinee if you can swing it. The chairs recline back, and are like personal lazy-boy/living room recliner. Popcorn, candy, and a few arcade games! Bonus car meets weekend mornings in the lot. Sound is great! Screens are crisp, and the place is clean and welcoming!

I recently visited Regal Movie Theater in La Cañada and was extremely impressed by their ample parking space. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the parking lot was well-lit and well-maintained, making it easy to locate a spot and navigate through the lot.The theater itself was clean and spacious, with comfortable seats and a wide variety of concessions available. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the ticket prices were reasonable.One of the standout features of this theater was the state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, which truly enhanced the movie-watching experience. The picture and sound quality were top-notch, and I found myself fully immersed in the film.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by my visit to Regal Movie Theater in La Cañada. The convenient parking and comfortable atmosphere made for a great night out, and I would definitely recommend this theater to others.

Went to see a movie on a Sunday evening. 7:45pm showtime. Movie started at 8:13! I bought a regular ticket, a bag of Raisinets, and an apple cider. It came out to $37! The seats were comfortable and the theater was clean, but come on! 30 minutes of trailers and ads? $37 for a movie and a basic snack? Youre killing me, Regal!

Horrible audio quality! Do yourself a favor and go watch your movie someplace else -- for the high price you pay to see a movie these days, you will only get a substandard movie experience here. In our theatre, there was no low frequency content and nearly all sound, for both dialogue, music, etc., was coming out of only the front left speakers. No surround sound effects at all! About three quarters through, there was a full 8-10 second audio drop-out during a very critical scene! You can imagine how upset everyone was! After the drop-out, the audio quality was restored but by that time the movie was nearly over. Basically, we had deplorable sound until that last quarter of the movie. Clearly nobody was monitoring. I did complain but received NO response from the theatre . . .NOT ACCEPTABLE.

The Regal UA movie theater in the La Canada/Montrose/ La Creasenta area is a very nice theater. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and well managed. The restrooms are close to the entrance and also very clean! They have a great snack bar, it is movie theater pricing, but if youd like to go in and just buy a tub of popcorn they will accommodate you. They do have some games in the front lobby for the children and even adults.They also serve beer and wine, so no need to bring your own - lol. Parking is abundant with plenty of handicap spaces available! Please come and enjoy a movie, some popcorn, and a great time.

Nice theater. Super big seats but you can still lean over to speak to your friend. Super clean. Prices are average. They allow adults to get the kids package which is a tiny bit of popcorn, gummy bears and a kids drink. Thats awesome because sometimes you only want a little.

Very nice theaters with a wide selection of movies and of course all the amenities you would expect from a national chain. Plenty of parking but lacking a self serve ticket kiosk so you have to wait in line at the ticket booth. Also the recliners are on the hard side so hopefully an upgrade is in the works.

Whoa!!! I believe that I might have just witnessed one of the best sequels ive seen. I have been locked inside my house for over a year due to my stage 2 diagnosis and subsequent just a couple of months later the apocalyptic pandemic. This was my first outing with friends since we were all placed as a nation under quarantine.I have received my double dose of Pfizer vaccine and subsequently acquired my antibodies and I was invited to join my friends for the QUIET PLACE 2 showing in La Canada/Flint Ridge and it was pretty freaking awesome to sit in a room with strangers and all wince and gasp and jump with terror. Great theater venue was not crowded but those who were in attendance.... were socially distant and masked...Everyone seemed to be navigating this RETURN to a new normal as everyone else. No one was crowding one another or even rushing around others. It was though we were attempting to be on our best behavior or actively trying to impress the people around them.

I was surprised to see this theatre newly renovated. Ive been here several times in the past but now its so much better. Purchasing the ticket online was easy and I was able to pick my seat; it wasnt like this before. I also like their wide variety of choices in the concession area, they serve popcorn, nachos, hot dog, candies, ICEE, ice cream, pretzel, hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccino, soft drinks and candies. There are arcade games and candy machines in the lobby area.~Drinks~I got the latte, its not sweet at all but it had a good flavor.~Food~Popcorn was good. I appreciate fresh buttered popcorn.::Experience::The seats!! I enjoyed sitting on the King Size Leather Recliner. It was cozy, spacious, and adjustable. Another reason why I like this theatre is because you can reserve and pick your seats online.~Tips~-Order your tickets online. You have the option to get the tickets via text message.-The seats online appear to be far apart but they are pretty close to each other.~Notes~-Parking lot

Love the seats!! Not a super great concessions stand but even on opening weekends of a big movie, the theater doesn’t feel overcrowded. Major bonus is that it has an actual parking lot for free!! No garages that require parking validation!!

App and website were very hard to navigate as a new customer. No senior discount on the app but was online but unable to click on the available seats. No explanation about the handicapped seats. Found out later they are ONLY for people on wheelchairs. They need to make it easier to find where to buy the tickets. We went to the theater and the kiosk windows had NO SIGN indicating to get tickets to go to the popcorn counter. The teens working there wheni told them of my complaints simply answered. I only work here. Not exactly the response I was looking for. And offer of free popcorn for joining their crown exclusive group was never given until I complained to their company in another half hour of my time. Not a good experience for a first time customer after having gone there for years when in was like all old theaters. Buy your ticket at the outside kiosks from a receptive human. Oh well..still gonna go see Barbie as it is my name!

Love this place. Always great people working there. Always clean. There is always plenty of inventory. Recliner seats are wonderful. I suggest getting tickets online to reserve your seats. Parking is plentiful. I recommend going here to enjoy a movie.

I use to love this theater and loved the value when they remodeled with the reclining seats. The past year I’ve seen a decline in maintaining the cleanliness and it’s not worth the price. They have not cleaned between showings, trash and sticky floors and seats. Trash overflowing in the hallways, limited menu. LOOK in Monrovia definitely better service, the Regency in Pasadena is cleaner even if it’s dated and so is their service.

Service was friendly here at the snack bar, but the prices are insane ($8 for a large soda, $5 for a canned sparkling water, etc.), so be prepared for that. The auditoriums are very small, with seating for maybe 20-30 at most, but the reclining seats are comfortable. The screen and projector are fine, although dated. Decent experience here, but not the best theater Ive been to.

Overall friendly service. Clean restrooms. The ticketing is done at the concessions registers, so you have to wait in line there in order to print/confirm/change tickets, apparently.The ticket checker was actively picking his nose (with gusto!) for a loong time, in-between taking tickets, no sanitizer or hand washing at all. Avoided him and went straight to the theater. There aren’t a ton of ‘em so it was no prob.The seats were comfy recliners, and the sound was great. The fellas coming in to clean the theater after were rather rude and unfriendly as we exited, but otherwise we enjoyed the experience.

This is a great theater with awesome seats, good concessions and good picture and sound quality. Ample parking, friendly employees. Tickets are a little expensive but worth it. Seats are spaced out enough that youre basically socially distanced, which is good. Restroom is usually clean also. No complaints about this place whatsoever. Nice lobby with a few arcade games also.

Power went out mid Star Wars: The last Jedi, obviously not their fault but they told everyone to wait in their seats. Then someone comes in and tells everyone to come out to the lobby and wait there for safety reasons. After about 15 mins of standing around, I go up front and over hear a lady with a roll of refund tickets, who I assume is the manager, saying to one person that they will not be restarting movies that already started because they have to honor the remaining schedule and here is a refund ticket. So a few hundred people are standing around waiting for direction and no one is telling them what is happening. No communication from the staff. Everyone is just wasting time waiting for absolutely nothing.Power outage not your fault but j-Christ, get up and make an announcement telling everyone what the deal is instead of letting them wait for nothing.....on New Year’s Day!

Very small theatres for a more intimate movie watching experience. Upside is the seating which are roomy lazy boy style recliners so you can put your feet up and lean back like your in your own living room. Great for larger people as the seats are very wide. The front rows are very close to the screen so you may want to ask about that when you buy your tickets. I was in row C which was about as close as I found comfortable without reclining back. The staff is very friendly and they have a few games and bubble machines in the lobby. The restrooms were clean. I didnt buy snacks this time. Overall its a really nice change to the usual theatre experience. Im not a fan of watching movies especially in a theatre but this place changed my mind.

This is my favorite movie theater. My husband and I get discounted tickets through his work benefits otherwise I think it would be too expensive but the seats are so nice and comfy with the recliners and I like that we have two connected and we dont have to sit too close to anybody else but each other. Great for people who have anxiety about sharing their armrest with strangers. The movie and sound quality is also top notch and they almost always have the new movies we want to see. Bonus points for having a big parking lot that you never have to fight for a space in. We drive from Burbank because we like this theater so much.

They leave the lights on during trailers which sucks. Before movie starts its non stop advertisments on the screen with loud audio. Popcorn and drinks are way overpriced at $15. I would buy them everytime if it wasnt so expensive. Nice seats, thats about all this theater has going for it.

Nice theater. Comfortable seats. Assigned seating, which is always nice. And they have a rather large variety of food, which they will happily serve you even though its still frozen in the middle. Thankfully youll only miss the first 10 minutes of your film while a somewhat perplexed teenager struggles with their toaster.They also have a pretty extensive list of beers. They dont actually have the majority of them, but theyre happy to point out what a large list they have.Overall, its a great little theater if you avoid their attempts at higher-end cuisine.

Love this theater! Plenty of parking, not very crowded, theater rooms and restrooms are clean. They have recliner chairs, you can purchase your tickets online, and reserve your seats. If you have AAA you can purchase tickets there for $10 ticket. They do charge a $1.50 convenience fee so you end up paying $11.50/ticket; but I think its worth it.

This theatre gets down to business showing a great movie with almost-better-than Lazy Boy chairs except there is no cloth. Bring your own padding.

No separate ticket window so you stand in line behind people trying to decide what snacks to buy. When I got to front of line I was advised it was cash only in that line tho there was no sign so indicating that. Cashier spoke to manager and I tried to pay with cash but they would only take exact amount and wouldn’t make change. After a heated discussion with the young manager I was allowed to use my credit card. Silly avoidable aggravation. What they will do to cut back on staffing at patrons expense.

If you enjoy movies, please do yourself a favor and go to a different movie theater.Theater was not cleaned prior to showing. The chairs do recline but are hard to push back down to normal sitting position. The trailers set to play include ads and non related trailers which lasted way longer then expected with the theater lights on affecting the image on screen. I had to leave and let somebody know there might be something off with the system.I get covid has lowered staff numbers but there are great theaters with better service and quality facing the same pandemic.If anyone cares I would recommend iPic theaters and even Look cinemas.

I have visited this theater many times through the years, but this was my first trip back post-covid. The one thing that I noticed that was different was the addition of ants on the floor in front of our seats. We were not having any concessions, so it wasnt anything we were consuming that attracted them. Reserved seating makes it harder to just move to another seat and hope that no one else has purchased it. Other than the ants, the movie (it wasnt Ant Man) was good.

Has foldable seats you can lie on and relax while watching a movie. A couple of faucets and all the dryers in mens restroom did not work. Has a photo booth and fun games in hallway.

Great quiet theater on weekdays for matinee shows. Gets busy the usual weekends at night. Warning: some theater rooms are small. Youll be able to tell when you buy your tickets through app or online. Rarely are the new releases in the small rooms though. Seats are starting to show their age but are still comfortable and recline.

I go when it isnt too crowded. at first I couldnt get used to the giant recliners but now I kinda love them. when I go with my sweetie, its really comfy and its like snuggling on the loveseat at home. A small group of us call this our theatre and we drive 20+ minutes without traffic to get to it(much longer with traffic). But its so worth it. For about 3 extra dollars, each person gets a large, clean, and fully reclining chair. Though it has completely ruined all other theatre experiences for me, I do recommend.

Convenient theater but old. They have reclining chairs but they are far from comfortable. They were hard and uncomfortable and our backs were killing after the movie. I was tossing and turning just to find a good fit, which I never found. They were also loud and disruptive when anyone moved or put their chairs back to get up or to sit back down. They really need an update to their chairs and the theater in general. To top it all off the switched from Coke products to Pepsi products which is just a personal preference but was the icing on the cake to not come back.

Good theater with luxury seating. If you buy corporate discount tickets online (like through ticketsatwork), expect a negligible $1.50 surcharge in price per ticket for luxury seating upgrade at the box office. I would recommend that the theater maybe have more power outlets for customers outside at the lobby, because I see quite a few people sitting on the floor to be near an outlet.

The cushioned reclining seats combined with the ability to reserve your spot ahead of time make up for the limited number of screens here. Its a little dated on the inside, but not enough to make it feel run down. Theres even a couple token activated arcade machines in the lobby like in years past. Even pre-covid this place was the best. Pic your seats, recliner seats and super friendly staff. Free refill on pop corn. A small soda looks like a medium.. and you can buy adult beverages. Theres is also a monthly fee (if you choose) to become a member. Unlimited visits to the movie theater. Also, because the hot dogs were being cooked they broght them to us in our seats once they were fished. This is going above regular customer service! Outstanding to the employees and whoever trained them!

This theater opened before stadium seating was a thing but they were smart and ripped out their old seats and put in leather recliners with assigned seating. There are a lot of new theaters doing this but they charge a fortune for tickets. The best part about this place is the ticket prices remained the same as they always were. I took my daughters to go see Frozen 2 and hands down this is the best theater Ive been to. They are clean, organized, they sell beer and wine, they have reclining leather chairs (very comfy and roomy), and the choice of restaurants in the same parking lot is very good. Why drive into the city for a movie?Well I guess if the place is so comfortable and convenient, then the question is really why not wait for the movie to arrive on streaming services?But if going to a real movie theater is still your thing. Ever since they upgraded this theater, it is my first choice for movies. They have taken out about 1/2 the seats per theater and put in wonderful LARGE seats that lean back. The aisles between seats are also wide, so no needing to squeeze through. You dont have to pay for parking and I have never had a problem finding a space (unlike Paseo or Santa Anita respectively). My boo loves to come here for the reclining seats, but a recent visit left much to be desired. Usually they have decent food but that was all gone, replaced by hot dogs and nachos. When we asked we got a shrug that the food prep equipment was broken.The seats were literally tattered, like something you would see in east Germany. This is nothing new, but the crowd is pretty low brow, once again we sat next to a regular looking couple who thought it was ok to talk through the entire film.Last time we were here there were problems with the projection to the point where we actually complained. Im a pretty easy going guy when it comes to these reviews but enough is enough.

We have been huge fans of this theater ever since they put in the roomy and comfy reclining chairs. Its always been very clean, its close to our house, and parking is always plentiful. But last night was different. Before our 7:15 screening, I went into the ladies room and was surprised to find a line to use a stall. Granted, its a holiday weekend (MLK Day), but the theater wasnt THAT crowded. Well, it turned out that most of the stalls were out of toilet paper, AND one stall had a broken door latch. Then when I went to wash my hands, I saw that both trash cans near the sinks were overflowing. Upon exiting the restroom, I went up to the nearest staffer to let him know. His response? The problem is, we only have four female employees. Wow. I hope the manager can figure out a solution to this staffing problem, if indeed that is why the restroom is in unacceptable poor shape.Today, I thought I would call. After a fairly time-consuming phone tree, I was put through to the theater. The phone rang and rang, no answer. I tried twice.Next time, Im bringing my own TP.

UA is one of my favorite theaters for opening night movies. My wife and i used to frquent this theater over 10 years ago while we were dating. We moved up north and havent been back here for many years. I think the last movie was Prometheus from several years back. So i was surprised to see that this place has changed dramatically. Gone are the small seats packed into each theater; now there are large reclining seats. There were only 10+ rows and roughly 12 seats across each row. Sure the ticket prices were higher here than other places, but it was well worth the price of admission. I think by making theater going a premium affair, they are able to fill seats with patrons who are willing to pay premium price for a very positive experience. I hope to be back in the near future.

My visit to the United Artists in la cañada was alright it could have been better. The pricing was very expensive! childrens ticket was $10.50 and Adult tickets were $13.50. Now I do realize that there are king size recliners but the ticket pricing is just god awful. Maybe if the pricing was better then my experience would be better. Also I cant believe your theater only has senior days on Tuesdays for $7.50 while other theaters have deals for everyone. We had a voucher for one free ticket and arrived at the theater just before the movie was supposed to begin. The show was almost completely sold out. Having not been there for a few years, we were unaware that the seating accommodations have changed. We were offered two seats in the front row, which seemed reasonable. However, when we got seated, we were so close to the screen that theres no way we could have enjoyed the movie. So we left and returned to the box office. A manager there very graciously refunded our money, after which I realized that if we bought tickets for tomorrow right now, we can have our choice of seats and show up anytime before the movie starts, not half an hour ahead to guarantee that we get seats that we like. My friend said that the reclining seats are very comfortable; I did not even sit down, so I dont know. Im sure that well enjoy the movie tomorrow, but for $10.50 for a senior on a weekday, I wish we had gone to our favorite, the Laemmle Playhouse 7 in Pasadena, where the senior admission price on Wednesdays is $4.50, and general admission before 6:00 p.m. M-Th is $6.00, and refreshments are discounted 20 percent (for Premiere cardholders). Those who believe that the Regal theater prices are low just havent experienced the Laemmle chain.

The Regal App for andriod makes it easy to get tickets fast and accumulate a ton of rewards. This place is always well kept and the seats are reclinable and comfortable. The staff hooked it up plenty of times when I was going to use my rewards. They helped me get the most bang for my bucks through reward points and promotions. This movie theater is decent, its old, and was remodeled quite some time ago with pretty cool lounging sofas. Only problem I find is that the screens seem to be too high in the theaters since this isnt stadium seating and all the seats are on the floor, it would probably be unbearable to watch a movie except for the fact that youre laying down almost flat. That said, its an inexpensive alternative if you like to Lounge while youre watching a movie with the only other place to do that Gold Class in Pasadena which is also much more expensive. The other Pasadena option for movies is Pacific Paseo and the seats there are straight up and down and have an uncomfortable hard thing right behind your head if youre an average height man. So, the UA Regal La Canada is definitely an affordable and relatively comfortable theater for your general movie consumption.

Beware of theater 2. I was so excited for this movie and couldnt feel more disappointed with my experience. The screen was so dark and out of focus on one side that I could not see any of the stunning visual detail of the movie. Its an older theater. There is no stadium seating. The old seating was removed and replaced by non-power recliners which, if you move around during the movie, can awkwardly send you from reclined to sitting up in an instant. This theater pales in comparison to the AMC Burbank 16. The screen quality is horrible if you are at the halfway point to the screen. Having to arc your head up the entire time. This is not true stadium seating compared to AMC Burbank 16. Never coming here again.

Great lazyboy seats but a little cold inside the theaters so bring a warm jacket or blanket. Good popcorn when it is fresh and lots of stalls in the womens bathroom.

Nice place to go, close by. Unfortunately their seats a lot of them have to be replaced they were the first place to come out with the oversized reclining chair so which was wonderful

I have been going to this theater for around 15 years. And since the movie theater was refurbished it is alot more comfortable especially with the reclining seats. This establishment also serves beer and wine now. I always take my friends and family to this movie theater.

Theatres clean, food is quite good (real food in addition to movie junk food!), and they have beer and wine with ID. One star down because service is slow for what is essentially a fast food service environment. More prep and server staff with this experience would make a difference.

I like this theater. Its usually not very crowded midweek. The theaters are cozy. I like the reclining seats. The staff is nice.

Pretty good theatre, but small and expensive food policy, with many restrictions. Seats are comfortable but they need to make the popcorn out of cheaper materials because it costs too much.

These arent red carpet events! The reserved seating is terrible.... even when they know there are only 20 people in the theater you still have to pick a seat, then sit anywhere you want. Go back to the old way! First come first serve!

Small but clean and decent theaterI came by on Christmas Day with my fiancé.I get it, no one wants to work on a holiday but you took this job. I work for a theme park and have to work holidays. But to be so miserable and rude to customers is unacceptable. Especially when multiple customers ask about your day and try to thank and apologize for you having to work on a holiday.Y’all younger white guy working concessions Christmas Day at 1pm, if you hate it so much, find a different job

I just went to watch Avengers. It was full and I had to sit on the first row(near to the screen). It was impossible to watch the movie, the seats are very close to the screen. I can not understand how they can sell tickets for these seats. Apart from wasting time and money, I got pain in my neck. I am so disappointed.

A great split between lux and Gen viewing. Ive been to luxury theaters where you pay 20 a ticket just to get in and this place is same seating without a call button for your nachos and a $15 martini.

Great free parking, reclining seats, actually good concession reasonably priced overall the go to cinema. Also, good selection of restaurants in the parking area or there is also Montrose Shopping a short drive from the location.

Wonderful having a multiplex we can walk to. We tried to get the old Edwards theater reopened without any luck and so were delighted when Regal Theaters opened the UA. Our only request is for the occasional independent / documentary / foreign film (even all-day festival screenings) like Laemmles Playhouse in Pasadena.
