This was the most enjoyable thing to do in Stockton. Staff was friendly in helping me get a refund, and lots of food options here.Unfortunately no kettle corn, and the speakers weren’t too loud.

The employees at this theater business did horrible misogyny sexism prejudice harassment, saying it was closed, when it clearly wasnt, in order to embarrass certain kinds of people, to where all the other customers were clearly inside the theater. This false advertisment was so bad, the unconstitutional practice and unfair practice. The employees acted hostile and reports were made to make them apologize. They should not be scaring people like this, that is absurd.

Very cool friendly atmosphere in entire theater, Very pretty smiles, hard working, capable ladies working there at concessions areas and nice male staff as well, The theaters are all very well kept as well as the restrooms and hallways and entrance! They have an armed guard in lobby! Pricing very decent across the board for feature films and luxury like seating with soft spacious reclining foax leather seating with plenty of room between rows and plenty of disable accomodations, except its quite steep for the essentials of popcorn, drinks soda and candy bars. ALL Candy bars like kitkat, M&Ms or Hershey Bar are the same price $6.10 per quantity of one candy, small sodas like $7-$8. They also serve alcohol responsibly beer and wine! The atmosphere is nice with nice patrons. The steep prices listed, they do make up for them with wonderful, specials and deals on pricing movies and concessions, with top notch movies, so give them a try theyre pretty great, I did!

City Center located near Regal Imax theater in Downtown Stockton California. Lots of shopping centers, restaurants, San Joaquin County Office and Stockton Police Deptt are located near this.Stockton Flavor Fest was going on just opposite to Regal City Center during weekend on 20th May. It was really fun with lots of food courts, food stalls and food trucks serving Mexican, Cambodian, Philippines foods. Really fun for all family members specially for kids (Rain Bath), for Teens guys and girls as Music festival orchestra was also there. Entry fee for adults was 10US$, Teens (13-17) 5 US$ and free for below 12 Years kids. Frisking was also there. Had fun on weekend, people in and around Stockton shouldnt miss this.

Mostly quiet nowadays at this theater, but thats okay as you pretty much get the best seat in the house first. Staff are always friendly. Food selection is good.If Regal ever decides to upgrade the rooms, they should should start with the seats as they are in a state of needing repair. Second they should add reclining seats to the IMAX room so its a true comfortable experience. Thirdly, add trays to the seats, these prevent snacksadents (snack accidents).

Super nice theatre, but bamboozled with the IMAX experience. Nice leather reclining seats, but you paid a premium to only get the movie projected in regular format leaving the rest of the IMAX screen not being used.

Screens are hit and miss and have issues, you can see obvious lines top to bottom from the screen or they dont clean the projector and they get a crystal effect. Not the staffs fault most likely as theyre good. Seats are kinda old and ripped apart but at least its clean. Homeless people are the worst part but thats not the theaters fault.

The imax was incredible. It was my first time in the imax and wow. Top gun maverick in imax? 100% yes. Great movie, awesome experience. 1 thing though, eat before you go. Concession stands will way overcharge you. But it is the same everywhere.

Went with family to watch the Adams Family movie. We partially ordered our tickets online. Check in at the window was seamless and very fast. There was no wait. Theater was neat and clean. Bathrooms were very well kept. Popcorn was fresh and the luxury seats were clean and comfortable. There was no stale odor. We had a lot of fun. Cant wait to catch the next movie that comes out here. A very nice location considering the amount of foot traffic it attracts from Downtown Stockton.

Came here to finally watch the Demon Slayer movie, already finished the manga so I know what I was expecting. Other than that, the theater itself was relaxing and the chairs were adjustable. When you first enter the theater youre greeted with an almost opera-like theme, it is mesmerizing! The food is expensive but worth it nonetheless, you get what you pay for. Definitely will be going here for new movies!

I find the interior of the theater to be quite pleasant. The exterior is also quite charming. However, I must admit that the experience of being solicited for money immediately upon exiting the theater is a downside. The issue of homelessness is unfortunately prevalent in many areas, and some regions are more affected than others.

It was clean. Seating has improved with stadium seating. concession stand still a challenge for them. You have to arrive at least 20-30 minutes before your movie starts. If not you will miss the opening trailers and opening of the movie. They need to hire more individuals. Management needs to get out of the office and help their employees where needed.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Although its downtown Stockton, its close to safe and secure parking in the Coy Garage. The theater validates parking for up to 4 hours. Dont forget to stop by the customer service desk to stamp your parking ticket.Of course, you will still pay $15 - $20 for popcorn and a drink!The Imax theater is great. During the loudest soundtrack moments, the sound appears to vibrate the Imax projector, creating visible distortion on the screen. Seems like a predictable and preventable occurrence. That said, its a minor and infrequent distraction, and the sound quality is great!Lastly, the lead-in commercials and upcoming previews are numerous and drive the movie start time well beyond the posted time. There is no benefit to arrive early.Its a good theater with good technology and staff.

I like that this theater features films that other theaters may not run. We went to see Asteroid City, which was very quirky but also very entertaining. Previews for other movies we hadnt heard about will probably keep us coming back. Thanks for having more than action and horror movies!

Well the seats we purchased where taken unless you want to get into a fight over a seat your not getting the seat you paid for. I saw a teenager ask an adult to get out of her seat and they refused to. Seating really disappointing.

The way they changed the seats is a game changer. You can now recline and totally relax while watching your movie. I havent been to a walk in theater in at least 3 years or so and its changed for the better seems like to me. GREAT JOB!!!I will be back. My wife and I really enjoyed our night out at the movies.

There was a power outage and everyone needed to move to the lobby. My friend and I were at the concession stand counter (where you would wait for a refill) so we could put down the snacks we bought. I ate my hotdog and took 1 step behind the counter to throw my wrapper away(there was not a trashcan on the side as usual) and not sure if it was a manager but a male staff member was VERY rude telling me that he saw me go behind there and it wasnt cool (again there was no other trashcan nearby and that side of the concession stand looked like it wasnt used all day, no popcorn in the machine or nothing on the heater) and told us to get away from the counter and move to the center of the lobby.

The last time I visited the regal theater in Stockton has and will be my last visit. The cleaning staff were loudly talking on the side of the movie room as the movie was ending, and when I went to politely complain to the management, the security guard tried to pick a fight with me. On top of all that, there was always the smell of human urine in some of the movie rooms. So now my wife and I drive to Manteca to see our movies at the AMC theater, with no disgusting smells or rude or violent staff.

Great place to go and enjoy a movie. Excellent seats, picture, and sound. Could use more of a selection at their concession stand. All of the staff I encountered were extremely professional, especially at the customer service desk which made me feel like I was at a high end hotel as I had an issue with one of my tickets which was for a different theater. We have two unlimited movie accounts which we rarely use; however, today, we decided to go see a movie and the attendant directs us to theater 14 on right side of theater. After about 1/2 hr of cartoon previews, a cartoon starts, so we check our ticket and we were on the wrong side of the theater. It was 7:50 and our movie started at 6:55! Instead of checking my purse, he shouldve made sure he sent us to the right theater!

Spend $50+ and they’ll let the other people in the theater walk around, talk loudly, take pictures WITH FLASH, etc. and do absolutely nothing. Horrible customer service. Its a comfortable place to watch a movie. Sometimes the concession stand needs more people running them but if you get there 15 minutes early, youre good; the people working concessions so its best to get your order complete as soon as possible. My only gripe is if you need customer service while you are there because the people are never sitting in the customer service area to help.

IMPERATIVE TO EMPLOY PEOPLE OF COLOR. I asked a Caucasian woman what room the movie I paid for was showing in because me and my boyfriend had forgotten, and I tossed away our receipt in the bathroom because it had gotten wet, which led to me and my partner being harassed. She informed everyone she worked with that we were suspicious and that she couldnt help us because we didnt have our receipt . which is absurd since how are we supposed to pass the employee in front without a receipt? Additionally, this other Caucasian group of male employees treated us rudely and threatened to eject us if we continued to walk around.

My husband and i went to see a new movie, people on either side of us were talking through previews no big deal. But they didnt stop when the movie started. Stayed maybe 10 minutes then walked out. Really nice place, very clean great atmosphere. The staff is amazing, I had problems with my tickets on my phone to show so I had to talked to the manager to helped me. He told me when you buy tickets on online and after the movie (starts / late) the bar code doesnt show. So he fitted issue me paper tickets. Then I went to Concession for some snacks and after I bought all my goodies the young lady that check me out helped me carry it all back to my seat.

Old theater with worn out shredded leather seats despite reclining stadium seating. But worst is the incompetency of the staff. A month ago a female staff cashed 20,000 reward points instead of using my Unlimited to pay for the movie. I reminded her twice but I could only find out after the movies due to the stupid delay update of the app. And it happened again today. It took a lot of hassles to reverse the points unfortunately thanks to the new policy. Good luck to you all victims.

Its a nice theater, but Im one of those people who loves movie theater popcorn and will go buy it without attending a movie just to eat popcorn. Thats no longer an option here. Youre not allowed inside without a movie ticket. I understand the need for security, but can there not be an option provided? A runner or something? Make online ordering an option again so the snacks are paid for and just let us tell you when we arrive. Im pretty disappointed.

Beautiful exterior and atmosphere as well as a large variety of movie times and movies. The only downside was that there were only two cashiers available for snacks so it was a super long line for food. We got there early and watched some trailers on a small screen in the lobby which was really nice. The amazing, comfortable seating really enhanced my movie experience and I cant wait to return.

Ive froze in other theaters to the point where its uncomfortable. I honestly debated on docking a star for the bathroom but its the weekend and it was packed so Im gonna give them a pass. Seats are great here. First class seats that transform in a sofa. The sound system could be overhauled though. It is not bad, but there are better nowadays.Make sure you park your car in the nearby garage (it is safer than the parking lot). They validate the ticket in the theatre. The inside is comfortable, seats are perfect but I have encountered a few that do not work just ask to move seats though and they will accommodate you. Bring a coat it is very cold inside the theater! The fo have security guard inside the theater when you walk in but sometimes you encounter some uncomfortable situations outside where you buy tickets, people who are a hit shady and drug users. But in general the area is nice. If you use the parking garage found on the next street from the theatre, behind it, bring in your ticket and stamp it inside the theater and youre parking is free for 4 hours!

Bought tickets online and you choose your seat. Just like riverbank galaxy theaters. I had to sit in the last row, but it was awesome. The electric recliners are all angled towards the screen which makes it great to watch from any seat. They serve beer and wine, however a 4oz glass of wine will cost min $10! And their toilets are black, kinda weird and didnt care for that, otherwise I recommend to visit and Ill definitely be returning.

This movie theaters staff was not helpful at all when me, my siblings, my aunt, her boyfriend, and her son went to see a movie my cousin started to feel sick and throwing up ( using our empty popcorn bucket) so we ended up leave but in case my cousin was going to throw up again we asked for another bucket. BUT the staff would not give us an EMPTY bucket when we spent 70 dollars on snacks and a refill on popcorn. This is a good place to bring your family for a good time and to watch movies. Good atmosphere, good quality picture, sound, and recliners which I think are cool. They have a pretty cool arcade for the kids or the big kid in you. Their food court needs improvement they can organize and train their staff to help the long lines flow smoother because the wait times are crazy up to 30 minutes on busy nights. They offer an option to reserve your seats when you purchase tickets online and even though this is a good idea it also creates an awkward situation when you get there and someone is sitting in your seats. Most people are understanding and just get up and move when you ask for your seats but Ive seen people get angry and hostile and cause a scene. It got so bad to the point security had to get involved. I was there with my kids and Im really not ok with exposing my family to that. I personally think there is more they can do make reserved seating better for everyone.

Everything was great except having to wait in line so long for a popcorn refill- you should be able to stand on the side and get it filled fast- after all, for the expense, youre missing the movie waiting on the REFILL...a bit angering. I do like that you can get breaks on concessions by joining their free club-1 large soda- and 1 large popcorn was 12.50. HOWEVER- the 3D IMAX seats are ridiculously priced-$72+ for 1 senior, 1 adult and 2 kids- thats just for the tickets! At least their reclining seats are very comfy, and the bathrooms were clean. And you can park in the parking garage on the street to the east of there for free if you stamp it in the validator machine at the desk just inside the door, thats handy. Its hard to find a parking place otherwise...

I love this theatre. The staff is always friendly from the ticket counter to the snack bar. At the snack bar I was purchasing several items and after ringing it up the lady told me I could do the combo which included all the same items and it would be cheaper. So I did that and ended up buying a extra item since it was cheaper. The theatre is awesome and I love the seating. The reclining chairs and big arm rest rock!

Great! My first choice in movie theaters! Be sure to bring your parking stub for validation on your way out. Also get their free rewards card for various perks including a free movie ticket every now and then. Reservation are suggested if you want to sit with friends and family,be prepared to bump people from your seat if you dont arrive before the previews start. So far they do go nicely thought, I hate that I have to ask! The new chairs recliners are so comfortable.Its a great time...

Seats were great. Less people in the theater that enjoyed the comfortable lounge seats. Would of fell asleep if the movie wasnt so good. Watched John Wicks. It was a kicker. Couldnt keep still. I was trying to be part of the movie Throwing punches and ducking the punches. The place was super clean and safe. They even sold beer and wine. Havent been there for awhile. Ice cream was yummy . Had that large buttered popcorn and a water. Will have to work it off this next week. Area was safe and parking easy. See you there!

Nice and clean inside. Recliner seats are good too. They do not have the fancy soda machines so drink options are limited. Outside is not as desirable as youre in downtown Stockton. If you park at the parking structure, make sure you bring your ticket to the box office for validation and free parking. Otherwise youll pay $2 an hour.

My husband lost his wallet while we were watching batman, called the next morning and they told me they found it and its in the safe but a employee must of took photos of my husbands debt cards because we got all kind of charges after the fact and when we spoke to a manager he knew who did it and said there is nothing he can do. It was well appointed theater that had proper lines for getting concessions. I like it when they have lines! The theater was clean and the movie was loud and fun. They lose a star because the dude at the front didnt bother to give us 3D glasses and once that dawned on us, we had to go ask for them. And he told us he didnt have any. Which seems ridiculous if you are going to sell me tickets to a 3D movie!Luckily the manager handled that pretty quick for us though.

Worst customer service possible, do yourself a favor Regal, get rid of the manager at this location. Just now I was eating ice cream from the concession stand and found some hair from the lady that served me in the ice cream. My wife went to get our money back, no apologies or anything from the staff or from the manager on, Nabil Coleman. In fact he was rude, at least pretend like you want your job. He looked miserable, maybe because there is no AC on in this building for nothing, wow is it hot in here.

Parking is in the garage next door to the theater, and they validate, but you must remember to bring your parking stub. They have assigned seating at this venue. You can save time in line by buying your tickets online. Our movie (Venom) was almost sold out and didnt have two adjacent seats, so we went to the later 3-D version. Long lines at refreshment counter so better to arrive 15 minutes early. The seating is deluxe. Leather recliners are comfy. We were able to take our pick of seats despite assigned seating. Overall a pretty good experience.

Went to the movies and sat in the theater, which was extremely hot. Spoke to a manager about it prior to the movie. Had no sound as well. She fixed the sound but throughout the entire movie I was sweating, as well as others. Spoke to her again on my way out and all we got was that she was going to call her A/C guy the next day. I know this wasnt her fault but to spend $30 on a movie only to sit in a sweat box was unnecessarily uncomfortable and irritating.

There is plenty of room in front of the chairs so there is no kicking or bumping of the back of your seat. Needless to say the isles are wide and spacious. No turning sideways or having someones butt in your face on their way to their chair.

My second time going to this theater was awesome. I was taking my daughter for her first movie experience. Sunday morning 11:30 showing of Smallfoot. She enjoyed it very much. I joined the Regal Club and used my small popcorn and small soda upgrades to purchase refreshments at a discounted price. I recommend joining a Regal club before going to see a movie. It was easy to find a parking space on Sunday anywhere around the movie theater. I will be taking my other kids soon.

I just got home from seeing a wonderful movie, Black Panther. However the theater was in horrible condition. The bathrooms were broken with plastic bags over the urinals. The floor behind the serving counter was covered in popcorn that the servers had to wade through to work. The ENTIRE THEATER WAS FILTHY. I hate to see the condition of the kitchen. TL:DR For those who want to know where the heck to park and how to validate, I parked at Coy Garage at 130 N Hunter St and the validation machine was on the customer service desk in the theater at the end closest to the doors, so dont leave your parking ticket in your car. It should print a timestamp on your parking ticket, if It does not ask someone to help you.Ive never been to this theater before because Stockton has a very bad reputation, and I could never find any concrete information on parking. I looked all over their site and facebook page but could not find a specific place to go. I pored through many reviews but only got vague references to every parking area within 5 blocks. And of course I saw reviews saying some places do not allow validation. Not a single person said where exactly they went. Well, I rolled the dice and chose Coy parking garage which is at 130 N Hunter St. It was a decent parking garage but the elevators were filthy and had graffiti all over the place. As I was walking to the elevators I could see the Regal sign. I crossed a street and walked about a block to the theater. On the way several homeless people asked for money and there were lots of religious people proselyting. But the area was pretty clean and modern looking. The theater itself was very nice, clean, and the bathrooms were just fine, many people reported terrible bathroom conditions, but not for me. The theater I had was very clean and had recliner chairs. After the movie I went in search of the validation machine. I could not find it anywhere. I went to the customer service desk and asked and they pointed to a little machine tucked away on the back corner of the desk. The desk is right next to the entrance, which is the opposite side youd expect to find the machine. I imagine they did that on purpose so people end up having to pay for the parking. I tend to avoid parking garages so I havent seen many validation machines. This one had no instructions, and I was lost. One of the people at the desk tried to tell me how to do it, but I couldnt figure it out. They were patient and ended up doing it for me. You have to slide it from the side all the way to the back for it to work. It should put a time stamp. The parking attendant took the ticket and I was on my way. This is a nice theater and, once you know how, easy parking. Its still Stockton, but its not too bad for Stockton. I would give this place 5 stars, but the complete lack of concrete parking information and the almost hidden and hard to figure out validation machine pull a star off.

The theater is nice and I have no problem with it. The problem is the parking around it. You can only put two hours max in the meter. So if you go in to see a movie youre pretty much going to end up with a ticket. The meters should have a higher maximum allowance. The IMAX theatre/screen was the most disappointing part of the experience. Barely larger than many non-IMAX theatres weve been in, it was nowhere the quality of our normal IMAX location in Riverbank, Ca (screen, sound, seating, etc). The mens bathroom was also pretty disgusting-unkept and unclean to a point I rarely see in a major business of any kind. If you have other movie-theatre options, especially IMAX options, I recommend pursuing them first.

My family and I enjoy going to this particular movie theatre because being a Stockton resident, its nice to know the revenues generated help to enhance the city as a whole and we enjoy the over-sized reclining chairs, however, this particular visit was horrible! The six of us intended on seeing Aquaman, and prior to arriving, we confirmed online that it was showing. Unfortunately, when we got there, the lady in the ticket booth informed us it was not showing and offered no explanation as to why the information online was incorrect. Mind you, we had four children with us, it was very cold and Im in a wheelchair. Needless to say, we drove to Manteca, ate dinner and saw the movie at a different theatre. It wouldve been nice to support our local theatre. Very disappointed!

Just went here for the first time since they changed their seating. WOW!! Those reclining chairs are SUPER comfortable, and you dont have to share an arm rest with your neighbor. =)

Love going here, my favorite fresh theater popcorn in SJC. Great comfortable luxury seats, IMAX available, nice staff, great variety of movies at all times. Not 5 stars because restrooms arent always clean, candy is too expensive & on occasion there are fights at night inside the theater.

I was there when the fire alarm went off.Everyone went back to the main entrance-creating quite a crowd. If people had panicked there would have been a stampede. Luckily it was a false alarm.If there is a fire alarm go out the exits near the screen, not the way you came in, otherwise youll risk being trampled if its for real. (They will let you back into the theatre.)

I took my twins to the movies for the first time. About half through the movie we were evacuated. (Not sure why, there was no fire.) My boys were scared to go back in so they have me three tickets for anytime, at any regal theater. Most companies would have said, too bad for your luck. Either go back in and finish the movie now, or lose out. Im super impressed with the way they handled it.

Going to the movies is super expensive, but I get it, that is how they make ends meet. Actually, more than ends. $8.99 for popcorn. Drinks, omd! Candy. Youre better off without. And now theyre doing same to beer and wine. Enjoy the movie and not eat or drink. A LOT cheaper! Eat before it after. Probably before.

The atoms app makes it easier to buy tickets and choose seating ahead of time, but it still takes a long time for the workers to get your order ready when you buy snacks with the app. Nice new recliners.

It was good except the glasses my spouse and I got were smeard on the right side and tried cleaning it but instead made it worse, didnt understand why they were smeared on the first place we didnt even touch lens part while taking it out of the plastic bag. It was irritating because it was our first imax 3D experience.

Recently went there to see The Grudge with the misses. Not a fan of the box office and ticket taker staff. The cashiers at the concession stand were cool though. And of course the reclining seats are very cool!

Went and saw the deadpool 2 movie the day before it came out on presale at 8-10ish. The reclining seats were so comfortable I was at home. However clean up crew was waiting for everyone to leave when one guy working there said nope its over, now get the f*#k out it was so rude I honestly dont know what the guy was thinking.

Nice theater. IMAX is very expensive: 2 tickets, one with senior discount, $35.00.Add a package of large popcorn, soda & M&Ms for another $20.00 and your looking at a $55.00 bill for a movie out for two. Free parking at nearby garage when validated (Hunter & Commerce)

Went for a double feature. Started late had to restart. 2nd feature stopped, was refunded but was not allowed back in to finish the movie. Soda was garbage, not sweet. Popcorn not salty or buttery flavored, just oily. Very disappointing.

I purchased tickets in advance to see Avengers Endgame on 5/3 with a group of friends. Our Auditorium was switched without our knowledge to a smaller one. The 3D did not work during the beginning of the movie. To top it off, some degenerate decide to yell a major spoiler into our auditorium from the entrance.....oh yeah and as we were leaving I couldnt help to notice all of the garbage people left behind at the end of the movie. Im never frequenting this theater again.

What can I say mmmm...long lines everyday, stood in line over 20 minutes last week just to hear movie was sold out or a few seats near screen. Who sits there? The next screening was over an hour away. They should have announced when a movie is sold out. Instead of waiting my time. We ended up going somewhere else. Regal members dont expect a deal on Sundays its $10.25 for kids and adults before 6.

Our 1st time visiting this theater and I was very disappointed. Both mens and womens bathroom were dirty and going down the hallway to our theater ALL of the trash cans were overflowed. Not sure if we will be back. I give it a negative 5 stars.

Everything is awesome except for the homeless problem outside the doors. You will positively be begged for money and possibly threatened with physical violence. I was threatened with a screwdriver once while with my toddler.
