It’s an ok Theater.Nothing fancy, nothing to stand out from others.Theater is nice and clean and the staff is always very helpful.Last time we came, someone from the audience had to go outside of the auditorium to go and find a staff member so they could turn the lights off because the movie “The Batman” had already started and the lights were still full on.Today we watched Morbius! Lights were turned down on time!

ATTEND WITH CAUTION! Hot, poorly ventilated theatres.Went to see Across the Spiderverse on 6/3/23.The actual theater we were in was gross, musky, warm and reaked of body odor.I assumed the ac would eventually kick on and all would be well.30 minutes into the actual movie (so a full hour later including previews) it was still just as disgusting.I got up to speak with someone about it and the manager essentially told me I could leave with a refund or suffer through it. Unfortunately I came with a large group and was unable to leave.EXTREMLY terrible theater experience for $20. I finally went to the movies instead of streaming at home. This unfortunately is deterring me from any theater but esp. this one.

Very clean and nice and cool, even though I take a blanket with me to watch the movie, I still love it very cold, the temp was just right not to hot nor cold. Customer service was excellent, greeted with patients and a smile.

Needs major upgrades/remodel. The ceilings look like they’re caving in, the small theaters have the aisle in the middle. It looks trashy compared to the spectrum regal. Other than that, the staff have been pleasant when I’ve gone.

Very convenient location since there’s more stores, shops and restaurants around. The location itself it’s very dirty, lobby, hallways, restrooms were very dirty and a lot of debris on the floor. I’m a 6.1 height person and this theaters are very small, I couldn’t even stretch my legs at all, I literally was touching the front seat with my knees, very uncomfortable seats for 6.1ft tall person. Anyways we might have to go back to Irvine spectrum theaters.

The rule.. pay to watch commercial free.. Unfortunately, Regal decided it was acceptable to start a movie 25 minutes late, with those 25 minutes being non-stop commercials on top of the commercials you see if you get there before the scheduled movie time. For a 90 minute movie.When we got out, I asked one of the staff (instead of complaining) if there was a way to know the *actual*start time, so we can arrive later. They said no…Given the competition with streaming, youd think they would grab a clue.Absolute deal breaker

Its a great theatre but the experience is beginning to feel a bit out dated in comparison to what some of the other theatres offer. The Irvine spectrum and kaleidoscope offer nicer seating. Also, before walking away from the concession stand, ensure your popcorn has been salted. Just paid $10 for unsalted popcorn. It did have butter tho!

First time at the movies, since Covid -19 hit! I enjoyed the movie Top Gun 2 and the comfortable theater seats. I also liked the stadium seating and you pick your seats at the concession stand. However, it takes a bit longer because you are purchasing your tickets and your snacks in one line. The young lady also forgot to give me my receipt and/or ask if I wanted a receipt. I think the line would move faster if they had someone to pick the snacks while someone else completed the transaction. Overall great movie! Bathrooms in premises and plenty of free parking in the lot.

We did not have a good experience. It started with an extremely long wait to get popcorn and a drink. Then, the seats were old and lumpy and the padding in arm rests where gone so they we hard and uncomfortable. The worst part was they didnt turn on the air conditioning so the entire movie was hot and uncomfortable. We watched three groups of people leave. We guessed is was due to how uncomfortable it was in the theater. We left sweating. The AC came just as the movie ended and people we were leaving. We will not go back. This location is not a typical Regal experience.

Staff are friendly. I really wish they had an imax and 4dx here. Leaky roofs during the rain season some of the auditoriums get wet, but I dont think Regal has the money to fix it! Shame, I enjoy coming here but will skip on the rainy days!

I went on Friday night to watch a movie. When I walked in there were about 6 people working they were just standing there and nobody came up to us to scan our tickets until they noticed us waiting for their attention. I also went to order a soda and nobody was taking my order. The two people behind the counter were just looking at each other as if they didnt want to do it. When one did take my order he was about to sell me a soda without carbonation, it wasnt until his coworker came next to him and told me they were out of it. Smh .

The popcorn was stale, the coke syrup was too low, the seats were horrible and uncomfortable. In fact I had a bruise on the side of my leg from it. I was very uncomfortable the whole time watching the movie. I will never come here again.

It used to be our GoTo theater years ago. Lately, we tried going to other Regal Theaters in the area, and we found out that they have IMAX, RPX, 270, and VIP. In short, Foothill needs to make some upgrades and get their coffee machine working.

Wouldnt recommend going here, employees would rather chit chat with each other than help you. Flies everywhere, even while youre watching a movie. Most uncomfortable run down seats Ive ever sat on. I know theaters are notorious for overpriced food but I got their nachos which was 1 pump of cheese and a small bag of chips ended up costing me 8 bucks even by theater standards thats such a horrible scam.

The staffs are friendly and the place is clean. Thats a star.The bad review is all about the volume. It is obnoxiously loud. I am a gamer enjoying some big sound and bass but this is on a different level. My chest pounds listening to ads about non-scary movie. My wife and I are about to watch King Kong and Gozilla, so we nope out.We try to ask the front staff about to reduce the volume and they are cool. But nothing changes after 5 minutes into the movie. Our room is empty, so we hilariously stand next to the door the entire 5 minutes. Anyways, we leave. Missing the first part of the movie is what I hate the most. $20 movie night is gone with the wind.

We love this theater. While it features the newest and best films out in 22 theaters, we love the community feel. Weve been coming here for years and always, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is immaculate, including the restrooms, which matters to me. And it attracts a nice friendly crowd, from couples to kids, teenagers to seniors. Just a really good vibe.

Nice theater! A bit off the beaten path as its not directly attached to a mall, so it feels out of the way. Very very nice staff.Loved the assigned seating, though this does make buying a ticket a bit slower. Lines can be long because of this, so arrive early or plan to miss the trailers.Food court next door, so lots of options for date night.

This is my favorite theater to go to because it seems to be less busy, especially off hours. The ticket sellers and the ticket rippers are usually especially friendly but the kids serving the popcorn -less so, at least the last time I was there. I would give a 4-5 star if the specific theater I was in was different. I prefer to sit in the center of the theater and at an ideal distance to view the movie properly. Unfortunately the theater I was in had the stairs going up the middle (where I would have liked to sit) and each stair was illuminated by annoying orange strip lights. This is more of a design flaw but I would rather not see a movie in that particular theater again - keeping in mind there are others at the same location without this issue. Also noteworthy is that I purchased my ticket online and was able to pick out my seat and where the stairs were (on the seating chart) said reserved rather than stairs. Somewhat misleading if not confusing. Other visits to the same place have been 5 stars tho!

Ive gone to this movie theater almost all my life. The people are friendly for the most part, and the stadium seating is always very clean and very comfortable. I love how inside the stadium is very cool because most movie theaters are really hot inside and I sweat during the movie. Sometimes it gets a bit too cold and I have to bring a jacket but I dont mind it. The only problem I have is that the popcorn and snacks are incredibly expensive. Its over $10 for one medium popcorn. =SI go here all the time though, and it is my favorite movie theater.

First time here. My movie had an early showing. The place was spotless. Was not busy at all. Perfect time to go to a show with no crowds or being too messy from a days worth of patrons but Ill have to go during the night on a busy weekend to see if its still the same. So far so good. The staff was very friendly, place was clean and not a single line to get tickets or popcorn, perhaps it was because we went on a Wednesday night. It felt good to have the place almost to yourself. They do need to upgrade the seats, many theaters nowadays have reclining, reserved seating, setting them apart from the rest and allowing customers to experience movies in a better way. This has always been my go-to movie theater. Always clean and comfortable. I have been out of the area for several months and decided to see The Lion King and enjoy the a/c. Imagine my surprise when I was informed I had to select a seat from a chart. Really? For a 1:30 showing on a Wednesday afternoon when the place is empty?I am not in middle school anymore and do not appreciate the “assigned seating.” I will not be returning.

Ive always enjoyed going there. I like the fact that there are no that many people so we can always watch the cinema in a more intimate setting. This cinema is one of the reasons why I am planning on buying a house there in the region - the plaza there has everything that we want - good dining options, target, etc. And it is not overcrowded like the rest of the OC. ) I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars as the theaters are a bit dated!

This place usually isnt crowded and its easy to get in quickly. Its also nice because you can purchase tickets on their app and bypass the ticket line. Only downside is if you want concessions. It has been slow every single time I try to get popcorn or a drink and usually only 1 person working the huge counter while others stand around.

The projector and the audio system could use either an upgrade or fine tuning. The seats are older narrow stadium style seating and not very comfortable. Especially for what theyre charging. For $1.50 more you can go to a Dolby Cinema and have the BEST cinematic experience.

Good theater thats keeping up with the times. They have seating you can select, beers for purchase, and they have a lot of food places to grab a bigger mean before or after the show. Indoor and outdoor seating area available for the food areas so if you want to hit one of the restaurants dressed up nice they have it. Want to head down in shorts and sandles? They have individual pizza slices, ice cream, and fish food stops to enjoy.

The bathrooms and theater were clean, but the lines were so long! It took us a long time to buy just the tickets. It was MLK Day and a lot of people were off from work, but they should have anticipated that. They only had two Windows open. The concession stand was the same. They did have four people working, but they were slow-moving! I was only the third person in line and yet it took almost ten minutes before I could order. Apart from that experience the rest of my experience was good.

It’s just a little sad and the seats aren’t very good. Might just be spoiled with having recliners elsewhere but my legs are just too long for the cramped regular seat spaces. Not sure I like the new pick your seat when you purchase your ticket deal. It seemed cool when it was just my husband and I. But last night was a girls night out. There were 6 of us, but then a seventh was able to make it who initially couldnt. This meant that when she bought her ticket, even though it was early, she was unable to sit with the group. One of us left our seat and sat with her, but it wasnt the same.

In my opinion, this place deserves a 4. They have great food/drink choices and offer a variety of great and trending movies. The one thing that set this place apart from a 5 star rating was the security. When Endgame came out, the staff looked disorganized and out of place. I saw many teens movie hop without even a second glance from the staff. Overall, I would recomend this theater for kids of all ages and all genders. Have a fun time if you do go there.

Came here on a Saturday night with my family and the young man at the concession stand was very rude to my wife. Theater was also very dirty with trash under our seats. When the movie started the lights did not turn off for the the first 10 minutes and the curtains did not extend during the whole movie (so the top and bottom of screen were blocked).

We were in the ticket line for well over 10 mins because of that, and it wasnt even a busy time. Otherwise the theater was very clean, the seats fairly comfortable. I bought tickets to see Interview With God. I liked that I could pick my seats and know that when I got there, I wasnt stuck in the very front. The movie was scheduled to start at 7pm. The commercials started shortly after 7pm, but we only had sound. That went on for about 10 minutes. Finally, they were able to get the sound and visuals on the commercials, but the commercials had very foul language, which was strange to show right before a Christian movie AND there was 30 minutes of it. People started to get up and leave. Finally, a movie started. Since I had never seen the movie before, I didnt know anything was wrong, but about 15 minutes in, the movie was shut off. Someone in the audience announced that they were playing the wrong movie. More people walked out. After a few minutes, another movie was started, but I think everyone thought we’d have to go through another 30 minutes of commercials, so more people left. It was kind of ridiculous, but after all that, they put the right movie on and my friends and I enjoyed it.

Nice theater, great seat options. Everything clean and orderly. But just like most other movie theaters, drinks, popcorn, etc. are beyond even airport prices. This encourages smuggling which can turn into anything if unanswered. Just make the snacks more freaking reasonable so that smuggling is not a forced option if you want to take someone, let alone your family, to the movies and not spend better half of $100 for the movie, drinks, and snacks. Id be in favor of lower snack prices at the expense of slightly higher ticket prices. Popcorn at the movies is an American tradition, not an opportunity to take advantage of.

Seat selection process is a nightmare, took over 20 minutes standing in line outside. We finally get in, get our $nack$, get seated, then two others come in and sit right next to us ‘cause that’s where the computer assigned them, even though there were less than 30 people in the whole theater. Good example of “fixing” something that wasn’t broken to begin with. Haven’t been back since.

This is a good theatre, everything is so expensive. I dont like that the come to the window to count money before opening. They should do the outside the few of people waiting for them to open. I get a generally hands-off attitude from employees. No greetings, no eye contact, nothing. It is hard to even get someones attention. But, the theatre and the bathrooms are clean, I guess thats a plus.

Went and saw the new Jurassic Park movie with my family and it was great. During the movie the bag my mom was eating popcorn out of spilled butter On her dress. After the movie we brought it to the attention of the concession stand and the people who were working looked at us like it was a crazy thought that the bag could have a hole in it. Regardless, the manager Jana was sincere and apologized to us for the problem. Not a close theater for us to get to but definitely appreciate it when the customer service is respectful like she showed. Thanks again.

I have to say Regal is stepping up their game. Every time we have gone there it is clean and not very crowded (that could just be the time we go tho). I just wish the staff was a little more friendly. Dont get me wrong there are some employees that go out of their way to help you and their are others that just seem they are so miserable to be there. But you will find that anywhere. Overall, I like it and is well worth going. Just hope they dont raise the prices even more with all the upgrades they have been doing.

Good, clean theaters in a nice location with plenty of good eats all around. Being a large cinema its not difficult to get into that next blockbuster without waiting in lines around the corner. I noticed that they had signs posted on the doors (as of January 2017) stating that they had applied for a liquor license... so expect tasty beverages to be available at that next summer action movie!

This is our go-to theater in the neighborhood. They always have a large selection of movies to see. Theres plenty of parking and the theater is always clean. Its a nice family atmosphere. The nearby food court gives you lots of pre-or post movie dining options.

A very clean local theater. It has all the amenities of a modern Edwards Cinemas and usually the crowds arent too large for the opening of big movies and other times. Very rarely are there sellouts but there are always a good number of people around. This is my go to place to see new movies.

Went for summer movies. Loved spending$1 for the kids movies. Once inside the lines because of the school bus loads of kids dropped off were ridiculous. It looks like some groups had their snacks out in tables but not all of them. Food. Trash. People. Everywhere. It was gross. It was chaos. Seems as though all groups should be treated the same way. The kids allowed to shop for themselves at 8 years old were a nightmare!

The regal in Westminster the hot dogs are $1.50 each so Im assuming the price increase is due to the area.... Love this place more before assigned seating. I just had knee surgery and looked for special area that would be better for my knee. Arriving early they told me there was no seats availabe in that area. After going into the theater there was no one seating there. Assigned seating is a terrible idea and creates long lines. I buy tickets from work so pre-buying tickets wont work for me.

Management keeps responding to reviewers asking how they could earn more stars. In order to earn my business in the future, they’ll need to cease the seat selection nightmare. Honestly, I cannot abide having noisy children (or adults) behind me kicking the back of my chair. Why in the world would management not want to allow customers to remedy that by changing seats. Focus on the customers and read the reviews. I’m not the first to mention this situation.

I like this theater over the spectrum for a couple of reasons. First of all, its closer than you might think especially since the expansion of Alton all the way up to Portola. This whole mall is now much more accessible (if you didnt like paying to take the toll before). I find parking much easier and much more closer to the theater. Finally, it just doesnt fee as crowded so getting in, getting out and getting around is overall just more pleasant. Once you are inside, its just another movie theater, noticeably below the standards of the Spectrums theater, but it gets the job done nicely. I also believe their price are ever-so-slightly lower. Need to confirm this.

Honestly, i havent been to this theater in a while and Im shocked at how far down hill it has gotten. Tried the deluxe nachos or whatever they are called with the steak on them, and they were disgusting... I had to stop after 2 bites, tried to eat them since i had just spent half my mortgage payment on them (honestly i think they were about $10 with a portion half the size of taco bells nacho bell Grande) but i just couldnt do it. The seats are terrible, Im 610 so is hard to fit in anything normally, but they were much tighter than any other theater and the padding i think has just worn away because my back was just pressed up against the hard plastic backing. Hell, the coke i ordered didnt even taste right... Not very carbonated and just tasted bland and watery. The only saving grace to the entire trip was watching Gal Gadot jumping around and looking sexy, if not for her i probably would of just left.

No matter what time of day you go to this theater, the wait line to get refreshments takes FOREVER! Often times, I see other staff roaming around, aware that people are waiting, yet offers no help. I have also seen the manager do the same thing, yet he will not get anyone on another register. I would expect a qualified manager would have rectified this issue long ago. We saw Ready Player One. Theater is comfortable with nice seats and lots of leg room. Lost some stars because the aspect ratio on the film was messed up. I spoke to an employee who gave a long explanation that the curtains were broken and they could not adjust to the aspect ratio of various films. I asked if it would be better for the feature and he had no idea. At that point I felt like he was telling me I bought a ticket to a film in a broken theater. A number of minutes later it appeared adjustments were made to the projector and the aspect ratio was magically fixed.

The most irresponsible, reckless place Ive ever been. Ive been on the last session of the movie and was the last person to leave the hall. Unfortunattely I left my bag in the hall, and as the cinema was already closed I came back to get it early in the morning, an hour before the first performance starts. Theres no way anyone could enter the hall except the cinema staff. When I got there and told about my loss, they let me enter the hall to check for it. The hall was cleared, and my bag was missing. I told them that this is very urgent, as I have a flight next day, and I had my driving license, phone and bank card in the bag... the only thing theyve done, they looked at the cameras and saw that I entered the hall with bag and left it without !!! so where is the bag? they dont know, they outsource some company to clear the hall for them, and they gave me this companys phone number for me to call and investigate where is my bag. Seriously ??? I left my bag in the cinema, not in the outsourcing company !!!!!!!! This is the thing they must do, not me !!! Anyway I called, the outsourcing company took no responsibility to do anything about this !!!... Can you imagine a place, a cinema hall, where no one entered except the staff, but they cant find the lost item, with all the cameras around...?!!! They take no responsibility for their staff, so be aware... what if one of the workers turns out to be a maniac?!!!

I went with my daughter and 5 of her friends to see a movie at Regal Cinema Foothill Towne Center tonight. The theater was 99% junior high students from Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School. The kids were completely out of control for the majority of movie including throwing ice at other guests, throwing coins at the screen and throwing shoes across the theater. The kids were on their phones most of the time, running around the theater and were yelling and cussing, It was way too out of hand for any guest to try and address and the staff ignored the chaos for at least 90 minutes. Im sure the policy is not to allow that kind of chaos in a theater, but tonights staff did nothing until very late into the movie. It was completely out of control to say the least.

Bought tickets on Saturday the 19th to see The Force Awakens. What a shock to find this playing within the smallest screen in the entire venue. We always enjoy this theatre. Good service but the new alcohol prices are a little high.

Not a bad theater. There is no IMAX or RPX here but it has plenty of screens so if its playing chances are its here.
