I would highly recommend this office to anyone! Dr. Franklin is so amazing with kids and parents alike. The entire office was welcoming and friendly. All of my questions were answered and my daughter was made to feel very comfortable and actually happy to be at the dentist! This is a rare find these days and I am so glad I found it! I travel from several hours away just to come here. The customer service is beyond compare. The office is clean and the waiting area has a lot to offer kids to keep their minds and hands busy.

Upon arrival, cleanliness is perceived and appreciated. The office feels like it’s for children unlike others I’ve been to. The staff is very patient, which is necessary when working with children. This is the best dental experience I’ve had in my whole life. How lucky we get to bring our babies and children here! The office is brand new at just 1.5 years of service. It’s clean, bright, modern, whimsically decorated, and so very kid-friendly. Activity center and toys. TV’s as a distraction mounted on the ceiling for older kids during procedures. Complimentary baby toothbrush, paste, and a toy as kind gesture out the door. Had the names of all the kids written on the door. Just so welcoming. Staff is friendly, engaging, enthusiastic, genuine. I am SO happy to have my 9-month old as a patient here before this hidden gem is discovered and they get all booked up. Next to the Safeway on Redwood tucked behind the Peet’s. Great, quiet location. Easy free parking. I also appreciate how everyone from Dr. Franklin to the dental assistant, Hannah, to the front desk receptionist, are all women. Girl power! Running a fabulous, professional, top-notch dental operation. See you in 6 months! 😁

We had an incredible experience at Redwood Pediatric Dentistry! We recently took our 20 month daughter for her first dentist appointment and the experience was positive from start to finish. The office is beautiful and super kid friendly (colorful with lots of books and toys). Hannah, the dental hygienist, was very kind and friendly with our daughter. Dr. Franklin was also fantastic, she has a true gift for working with kids! She has such a gentle and calming nature and was so patient and encouraging. We feel so grateful to have found Redwood Pediatric Dentistry and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dentist for their kids.

Just took my 15 month old to his first appointment and I could not recommend this practice enough. Everyone was friendly, kind and patient. Hannah, the hygienist, took the time to explain everything to both me and my son. Even showed him her gloves before she put them on so he didnt get scared! They had a plethora of toys to occupy him while we talked. Dr. Franklin is kind, knowledgeable and gentle. I feel so comfortable here and so did my son!

We had such a great experience, this is everything you want a pediatric dentist! My 3 year old was so relaxed, watched some Bluey, and the dental assistant Hannah was a true joy to her. Dr. Franklin was so kind and thorough, we felt confident when leaving. And parking was so easy!

I brought my son here for his first dentist appointment at 19 months and it was literally the best experience I could have asked for! Angela at the front desk was so warm and welcoming. Ms. Jackie, the dental assistant was so kind with my kiddo and very informative. Lots of playing and making sure he was comfortable in the environment. Dr. Franklin rounded out the experience with more informative details, warmth and kindness . Everyone was so warm and kind and most importantly to me, judgment free! There was gentle encouragement around weaning from breastmilk and the pacifier without shaming which was so appreciated. I literally can’t wait to bring him back in 6 mo this and have been raving about the experience since we went. So grateful for Redwood Pediatric Dentistry giving us a memorable first experience and setting us on a good path for being comfortable taking care of our little one’s dental health! I’m so appreciative of them showing such love and care to my little human!

I chose Dr. Franklin’s practice because of the excellent online reviews and recommendations from friends. I went to the office with high expectations because of the high reviews. Our experience at the office today exceeded expectations. I’ve never had such a positive experience at any medical/dental visit. Everyone—from the front desk to the dental assistants—was genuinely nice and great with kids. They thought about every possible detail to make it a positive experience. The dental assistant and Dr. Franklin took their time to educate us on oral hygiene practices for babies and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I’m very much excited for the next appointment!

Our insurance changed so we had to change our childrens dentist. I am so happy we found this place. My kids 10 and 12 loved it. They both had great experiences. The dentist and dental assistants were so friendly and informative. They also have little screens and headphones that are above the kids heads during treatment. My kids gave the place an A+. The office is also very clean and aesthetically appealing. Check them out, you wont be disappointed.

Great first experience at a pediatric dentistry clinic. The clinic itself is super clean and new with lots of toys. All the staff are incredibly friendly and warm especially with our 22 month old. The dental assistant explained a lot about our kiddos dental health and age appropriate development, and thoroughly answered all our questions. While we didnt meet Dr. Franklin since she was on maternity leave, Dr. Lesley was great. We were pretty nervous about our kiddos first visit ever but it went much better than we could have expected in such a welcoming environment. Highly recommend.

We visited Redwood Pediatric Dental upon recommendation of some friends who were also patients. It’s been a rough year for our family and an unfortunate outcome is that my son ended up needing A LOT of dental work. I had so much anxiety about his procedures, but fortunate for us, Dr. Franklin, and her staff Angela and Alex and her wonderful dental assistants put us at ease. Angela was in constant communication with us, the systems they use are so efficient, simplify the paperwork and make everything so transparent, and Dr. Franklin is so positive and reassuring, with such comprehensive follow up that I have never seen at any other practice. It’s been several hours after our appointment now, and I am still in awe of how it all worked out. I can’t thank you enough, Dr. Franklin and the Redwood team, for your amazing compassion and taking such good care of my son!

Absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Franklin and Ms. Michelle (hygienist). The office is wonderful and child friendly. It is absolutely the best pediatric dentistry office that I have ever visited. I was really impressed with Dr. Franklin’s bedside manner, diagnostic approach, and her interactions with my daughters. The office location is excellent and there is plenty of open parking. My daughters left Dr. Franklin’s telling me that they wanted to become dentist; they are 3 and 5. It was remarkable. Dr. Franklin and her staff are THE BEST. They are all super friendly, knowledgable, and make kids feel right at ease. The office is very kid friendly, everything looks new and clean. They accept all forms of insurance, so theres no hassle in getting reimbursed (from Delta Dental for instance!). Thank you Dr. Franklin!

Dr. Franklin and her staff have set up a fun and supportive environment, and they provide excellent dental care. Going to the dentist is fun with the many well chosen activities for kids available at the office. They gave us suggestions on how to engage with my kids orthodontist to make some adjustments that will result in better tooth and gum health.

We had an amazing experience with our 9-month-old who broke a tooth. I cant say good enough things. They were patient, taught us a lot on how to care for her teeth, had a beautiful practice that felt good to be in for adults and kids, and they earned the trust of my child - who is very picky about things going into her mouth - to let them shave the broken tooth into shape and get a cleaning!They also took a family photo with a placket to mark her first dental visit. Such a special touch!

Im so happy I found this place for my daughter!! Shes 4 and like any kid she was nervous about going to the dentist but after her appointment her anxiety for the dentist was gone!As soon as you walk in it feels so welcoming and bright and just a nice happy place for kids.The staff is beyond amazing. They explained eveey step to my daughter n they made her laugh and just made her feel special. They provided headphones so she can watch her favorite show, Bluey, on the tv while they did her cleaning. She hardly noticed she was at the dentist. Afterwards they gave hee stickers, toothbrush and a prize for doing a super job. The doctor was also very thorough with her check up and made sure I had all my questions answered.10/10 will forever be bringing my kids here 👍🏻

Wow what a wonderful experience! We took our 18 month old to her first dentist appointment with Dr. Franklin. She was kind, patient (we had to make an emergency diaper change) and extremely friendly. Everything was well thought out, from my daughters name written on the welcome door (picture), the Winnie the Pooh toothbrush (her favorite Disney show) to the bouncy ball gift afterwards. This was first class, the gold standard of pediatric dentistry.

1st visit to the dentist was a success! Everyone there is so great with kids and the TV on the ceiling with kids programming is great to distract them so they actually get their teeth cleaned. We LOVE Dr. Franklin and her whole team. Shes incredibly knowledgable, gentle, and FAST. Shes treated preventatively and also treated dental emergencies for us -- including fairly severe dental trauma with our 1.5 year old that had included an ER visit. Im so, so thankful to have her as a provider for my kids! Our 7 year old recently had his first filling and still doesnt realize there was a shot involved...shes magic!

My 2.5 year old just went here recently for the first time. He had had a previous experience at another pediatric dentist office where my husband was holding him down while he screamed and cried. Though I was not able to make the appointment my husband sent a photo during the appointment of our son happily staring up at the ceiling watching Bluey through glasses. He was shocked at how well it went for our son and said the people that worked there were magic at what they did. He even let them scratch his teeth clean, something I myself hate. Our son came home happy to announce that he had gone to the dentist and is now asking to brush his teeth at night without us even reminding him. Would highly recommend them!

The staff was incredibly nice and so helpful for our 2 year old’s first dentist appointment. I love that you can fill out your appointment online. They are very cautious about Covid procedures which made me even more relaxed. Lastly; I love that they are inclusive; the application process asks if your child may be in the autism spectrum and they have different ways of helping little ones; including a support dog (per the application paperwork online). I highly recommend going to Redwood Pediactric Dentistry!

I want to keep this place a secret but they also should just thrive! From the moment we opened the door, Redwood Pediatric was child-centered. The receptionist addressed her, not me, and that tiny shift let my little know she was here for HER appointment. The toys were awesome, even I picked up a puzzle. The feel was fun. This was the first time my three year old didn’t cry at the dentist! They were gentle, kind, thorough, and helpful. They took their time and we left smiling. I am SO glad my dear friend recommended Redwood Pediatric Dentistry.Side note- I didn’t put insurance info because I didn’t have my info & they looked into and I didn’t have to pay up front. My children use to go to Alameda Pediatric Dentistry for many years until they changed their billing process. So I decided to look for a new dentist that is closer to home and stubbled upon this hidden gem. Dr.Franklin, Ange & Alex are exceptional. They are able to see both of my children at the same time which is very convenient. Making our first and annual appointments were super easy. Their office is very clean and parking is always available. It is always a pleasure brining my children in for cleanings and they are very accommodating. I badly wanted my son to be seen with Dr. Franklin because of the good reviews here but Angela (Idk if she is an office manager) VERY RUDE!! Oh and also, she had to really ask me do you still want to keep the appointment because I HAVE OTHER PATIENTS waiting I said I still wanna keep it but then she continued being rude and I had to say I dont want him to be seen by them. As a first time parent this place was a breeze to fill out paperwork for, the hardest part of switching dentists next to making sure your toddler is comfortable. And she was! They asked about her interests and had puzzles and books. Everyone was really accommodating even when the typical two year old tantrum happened. I also got some great advice and tips on good products for toddler teeth that I never got from our previous dental office, it’s an added stress relief for me to have some guidance so thank you all so much for what you do.

The office was absolutely amazing for my daughter. She loved the waiting room and all of the books. The back area was very creative and welcoming. Dr Franklin was so thoughtful and really made an effort to make my daughter feel comfortable with it being her first time at the dentist.In person, Dr Franklin was amazing with my daughter. She was very patient and calm and let me hold her while she did her evaluation. I recently switched my 3 kids to Redwood Pediatric Dentistry because the location is perfect for us and I’d heard great reviews from other families. It was so convenient to get there and there was lots of free parking and everything from calling to schedule appointments to checking in and then the exam and cleaning were great. Dr Franklin answered questions that previous dentists had brushed off and really took her time to explain things to my children and I. They have lots of cool toys and gadgets to keep both the little kids and older ones entertained and they are even training a therapy dog to help kids feel more comfortable. My kids all agreed that today was their best dental visit ever and we had loved the dentist we had prior to this. I’ve already recommended this practice to all my mom friends!

Not only are there plethora of different toys for engagement and distraction, Dr. Franklin and her team are cheerful and just fun be be around. My kids loved their experience at Redwood Pediatric Dentistry. While the kid friendly waiting room, bathroom, the TV watching during their cleaning, the golden retriever, and the prize at the end are great, I actually don’t need all that (maybe my kids would disagree) because the staff is what makes me return. They are all friendly, knowledgeable, caring, patient, upbeat, and very good at explaining what they are doing to kids and adults. My kids felt totally comfortable the entire time and were able to ask questions and be heard. So happy to have found this place. My kids will very happily return in 6 months.

I am impressed by the staff and care the gave my daughter. If your child is horrified of the dentist and you dont know how to get them to like dentists you should come here. They are professionals. The office is for kids, there are toys, theres even a play area where you get your teeth treated. They absolutely understand psychology of kids. This was the first place my daughter was willing to open her mouth and let dentist to clean her teeth.I am so grateful for this place.

Both she and Angela in the front office were super nice. My daughter felt comfortable and it was a smooth experience--the giant light brite in the waiting room and the stuffed animal with the brushable teeth were a hit with her. This place is the definition of kid friendly! The waiting area and dental office is filled with dental related books and toys to get your kid comfy. This is a pediatric dentist game changer. I am so incredibly impressed. The dentist and staff are beyond wonderful and I’m so relieved to have this level of dental expertise for my kiddos. Every staff person we interacted with from reception, to the hygienist, to Dr. Franklin went above and beyond to make my four year old comfortable and she left with a giant smile. They paid such incredible attention to detail from having my daughter’s name on a welcome sign to having her favorite show playing ( they asked ahead) when we got in the exam room. Walked by this place one morning and noticed they took my dental insurance. After doing some research I figured I’d make an appointment. I took my 21 month old in for his first dentist appointment this morning. I was worried as he is very difficult to get to brush his teeth, so I wasn’t sure how they could possibly do a full check up and cleaning. They were amazing. Wow, I never knew there could be a dentist this amazing. Alex, the hygienist, put my timid three year old at ease with endless patience so she was effectively able to clean his teeth without tears! Dr. Franklin is highly skilled at this as well. I also appreciate how their tables with dental machines are low to the ground so they don’t tower over children. TVs on the ceiling, toys and books all over, stickers and prizes, and brand new facilities. Everything is clean and professional. My son actually asked when we could go again! Best kids’ dentist ever.
