Great location a few miles from beach and boardwalk area. Service was exceptional and I was greeted when I arrived with a smile and a willingness to accommodate my room type. Room was super clean, and seemed newly renovated. Shower hot, bed comfy. Coffee in room. Would recommend. Solid 5 stars.

What a fantastic little motel. It is very clean. The staff are great. Right in the heart of Redondo beach, very easy to get to from LAX straight down the Pacific coast highway. We had 2 weeks there and were given a suite that was perfect for a family of 4. The beds were super comfy. This is our 3rd visit to L.A. from the U.K. and 1st time to stay in Redondo Beach. Its definitely the best area to stay in if you want to feel safe with easy access to the freeways. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone. We will be back.

I usually do not write opinions but this time I decided to do something else. Well, Redondo Inn is exceptional in many meanings of this word. So close to the Redondo Beach, restaurants and the Pier. The room was spacy and very clean. It was one of the best Inns/Motels/Hotels I used in the States so far and I slept 200+ nights in California. Easy recommendation and I will be back here in the future. :-)

Before we booked this hotel, the gist of the reviews said it was basic but clean, with a great location. I only agree about the great location. The room we were offered was dark, dingy, and felt creepy. If I was traveling alone, I would not have felt safe. We asked if it was the only room they had. (Folks next door were starting up with outdoor coolers and what looked like would be a party.) They took us to another room which smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Having arrived late, we paid for one night, noting the sign in the lobby that said that you have to pay for your entire stay up front, with no refunds. (Warning sign!) When we managed to arrange to stay elsewhere, we turned in our keys, not having used the room at all. The front desk clerk did not appear at all surprised.... and no, we did not get a refund.

Completely disgusting. Got to hotel room and there were BED BUGS crawling on top of the bed. Mind you, this was in the middle of the day and bed bugs do not do this unless there is a severe infestation. We got moved to another room and this room did not have clear live bed bugs but it had dark spots on the sheets and there were definitely signs of bed bugs. We looked around and there were two candy hearts and a cracker wedged between the couch. Room was disgusting and we decided to go to another hotel. The bare minimum is that the room would be clean and it was not. Also, we were supposed to get a king size bed and we got twin. Bed sheets and curtains were ripped in both rooms and looked like room had never been cleaned. Person in parking lot playing Ben Shapiro podcast super loudly that we could hear it in the rooms the entire time we were there. Do not stay here. Not worth it. The price for this may be low but it costs thousands to eliminate bed bugs from your house if you carry them home.

This is a very cute old school looking motel in a great spot on the Pacfic Coast Highway. It is nestled in between residential homes. Sadly though it has some issues in my opinion, first the driveway is one way in and one way out without much in the way of signage to let you know, if coming in at night make sure to use the south driveway. You can not get a large uhaul or bobtail semi on the lot either, and really wouldnt want to as the next issue is that the parking lot itself is very small, ( I am a semi driver for work) but I drive a 05 GMC Yukon when Im off, and while I could park in most spots there, it made it tight for others to get by it. Now the biggest issues I found were within the rooms, it seems that the housekeeping staff doesnt see the issues as they clean a room though, we were given a room with a badly leaking toilet, and due to no other room availability for the night we had to shut off the water to the toilet. The next morning the new room we were given (that had just been cleaned by housekeeping) had a smoke alarm with a low battery alarm, light bulbs not working in one fixture, and one of the TV remotes didnt work at all. I like to sleep in near pitch black rooms whenever possible however both rooms we stayed in had light coming in all the way around the entry doors and around all the curtains, sadly the mattresses very hard and quite uncomfortable too. Overall Id say this is a cute hotel but I would not want to stay in there and could not recommend it to anyone either.There is no breakfast offered but they do have in room fridges, microwave and small coffee makers. We were there on a Sunday night got in at 7-8pm and Monday night, I never saw the Thai restaurant at the front open though.

Great location, 5 minutes to the beach, plenty of shops nearby. Rooms spacious, extremely clean ( everyday), all you need in the rooms, plenty of parking, the guys at reception very helpful and friendly. I will be back 100%, and would highly recommend. Also easy to get to from LAX.

The hotel itself isn’t bad. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach. The front desk people are nice as well. However my room had bed bugs and they ate me up within hours. I am Black so it might be hard to see due to lighting, but I took a few pics where I got bit on my left hand, wrist, the back of my left earlobe, and on my neck behind my left ear. I was offered another room but I didn’t take it. Please burn your mattresses, sheets, or maybe the whole room and start over.

The hotel is in a really great location and there is a bakery a 15min walk away (sweet wheat) absolutely lovely cafe. The reason it doesnt get 4 or 5 stars is due to the quality of the room. The outlets for the wall were not secure, dust falling out of them. The vent in the restroom was SMOTHERED in dust as well, The carpet has a lot of stains and dust in corners and I think some of it was blood, the bed was fine I checked for bed bugs and didnt find any, mini fridge was constantly making weird noises, the front door to my room is not properly sealed and let light in easily, the shower had mold/water dmg on the corner and the tiles were broken in there, and finally the room felt titled? Nothing stayed closed on one half of the room as it was leaning in. For over 100 a night I dont expect luxury BUT I CERTAINLY EXPECT IT TO BE CLEAN AND OF BASIC QUALITY. Nothing is really modern there and they continue to charge more with ancient furniture and bathrooms. At least the toilet looked somewhat updated. Overall not a terrible stay but certainly felt overpriced.

Have stayed here before. Have family in the area, and for us, location is perfect. Now, if they would get decent sized towels and 4 decent pillows, it would be nice. Water doesnt get hot. For the price I can look past it.

We got the Deluxe King Room. The room is small, but it worked out well for the two of us. The bedding was clean & very comfortable. As for the location, it was perfect. Walking distance to Redondo Beach and about 25 minutes to LAX. The free parking was a plus and it was hassle free! We brought along two cars. Though, they do only offer one free parking space per room, there is free parking on the side of the road. Great place to stay when on a budget!

Great location, for the price. Clean, small, sure, but I do t travel to stay inside. But, when you get in at 11pm, tired from traveling, and they initially refuse to give you a room, because you booked under Bill, and your driver’s license says William, forcing you to get sarcastic, snarky, and question where the hell you been, and a call to a manager, not good. That means other mistakes to follow. And if you can have a fridge and microwave, how about coffee maker, even with cheap stuff? Or at least in lobby.

Been visiting this hotel for about eight years now. The rooms are nice, very clean and priced right. Everyone is super friendly at the desk and housekeeping too. If I ever need anything I just ask and its handled quickly with a smile.Its about a six minute walk to the beach from the hotel and close to shops, restaurants, bars and the Redondo Pier.I also like that Walgreens, liquor stores and a cool sports bar are within walking distance.The actual beach in Redondo is long so theres plenty of open space by the water. Very nice beach.Its an excellent hotel. Recommend highly.

We decided to give Redondo Inn & Suites a try and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is older but has been updated. The rooms were simple and clean. It felt like a beach motel! The staff was polite and made us feel welcome. The amenities were simple and that is fine. The towels were a bit thin and there were a couple times the water in the shower was not very hot, but it was not cold. The area was nice and we felt safe. Would we stay there again - absolutely!

While the room was clean and well done the bedding is horrible and the pillow may have been a napkin as there were so small. I would give more stars but not only was the bed so uncomfortable that I literally got no rest at all but my back is sore. And to add insult to injury they doubled thier prices just for the holiday. A blow up mattress would have been more comfortable to be quite honest. If you want clean and cheap and are willing to sacrifice comfort its not bad. Sad considering you can tell they just remodeled but obviously spent zero on mattresses.

Young lady at the reception desk was pleasant and helpful. It would have been nice if a continental breakfast was included. Its difficult for me to walk so a luggage cart would be have been useful as I was given a room across the parking lot (I dont have a car). Room was clean; housekeeping staff courteous and efficient.

My room at the Redondo Inn was both clean and pleasant. The carpet was clean and the towels, while not plush, were certainly adequate. The bedding was very acceptable and there were no strange smells in the room. And the price was very agreeable. I would certainly stay there again.

This hotel has been here a long time. The location is convenient to Pacific Coast Highway and it’s only three blocks to walk to the beach. Some updating has been done. The room appeared clean. It wasn’t as nice of accommodations as hoped for, but you get what you pay for. The rates were affordable. The office politely brought up another chair when requested.

Is place is a good location if you want to go to the beach. This place sucks if you want to have fun, walls are aparently paper thin and can hear everything. They tried to call the cops for a noise complaint at 2 in the afternoon. Someone threw up outside of our hotel room. We told the front desk and the guys said he will check the cameras.. not oh we will clean it up right away. Nope just Ill check the cameras... shifty hotel service. Great room great price great walking distance to the beach. Will not come back.

Better then expected. Its nice when in reality place looks better then on picture. Was clean and well set up. Not 100 present quite but not to the point it bothers. Stay for 1 night with 9 years old and we were able to have beautiful promenade along the ocean with sunset to Redondo Pier and in the morning to opposite direction before stop by for cup of coffee (just 5-6 minutes walk and you are at the beach )

I was able to go use my room. I paid with applepay through priceline to book my room no where on the priceline website did it mention a 50 dollar deposit. When i got to the location thats when they asked for it. I asked the lady if they take apple pay because i didnt have cash or a way to pull any cash she told me know. She then preceded to tell me that she would have to sell my room in order for me to get my money back. If she wasn’t able to sell my room i would be out of the 70 dollars i paid. I called priceline to see if they could get my money back and they said no. I will never use priceline or go to Redondo Inn. Poor customer service. They took my money without providing me the room i paid for. If thats they’re policy they should just charge the full amount and refund the rest when the guest stay is over. Stay far far away from them.

A small basic room with a bed and AC is basically what it is. The bathroom is small and the faucet counter is small as well. No mirror in the bedroom for you to look at yourself when you dress up. No other amenities at all. If youre only looking for a cheap place to sleep and go play somewhere else, this is it. I gave this place a 4 stars because its only minutes away from the beach.

This place was amazing! For a two star hotel it was the best. The beach is literally a 7 min walk from the hotel! No bugs of any kind! The room was big enough for my, wife and baby with the play pin. Shower pressure was great, bed was comfortable, refrigerator and microwave worked great. The internet work great with my macbook pro and the maids were awesome；）。The tv had a great amount of channels and the bathroom was very clean! The only thing I will say is that the neighbors up stairs was a tad noisy and you can hear them every once and while, but this place is still 100%.

Clean and comfortable with a short walk to a relatively quiet beach. Two minor issues were there was no hand towel, and the toilet was situated in an awkward position. That is, when you sit on it, the sink counter is partially in front of you. Overall, would stay again because of the price point and proximity to the beach.

We inquired about early check in and the front desk staff responded very rudely that it wasn’t possible, even if a room became available.We booked a queen room and were put in a room with two double beds. Nice room but kind of dirty. The blanket on the bed had a huge rip in it and the walls had holes in them. Bathroom was nice and clean though. Another problem was the door didnt like to close and had to use force to close it and could hear everything going on outside the room. Was an okay place for what I got it for.

It was clean but wreaked of cheap air freshener when I got into the room had to air it out. Spotty internet access. Very very thin walls could hear people next to me sighing, talking at night and getting up at 5am. Noise from the highway made it harder to sleep. However, staff was nice & attentive.

It was a very nice hotel and I loved how close it was to the beach. The only problem was that they did not assist us very well over the phone and in person Sean ( the guy at the desk ) was not very friendly until the morning we left. The hotel policy is also unclear. I feel we should have been warned ahead of time that if you have a debit card the amount of money they would hold is $200 instead of their usual $100. We were also told that we werent allowed to have any visitors, I have never been told that at any hotel. I understand not being able to have more people spend the night, but no visitors? Thats a bit extreme.

This place is inconsiderate. Fully already paid for 3 nights and had a guest, my bf. He drove separately, and it says that free parking is provided, yet they have a limit if the place gets full. 4 spots were open all night, but they called us consecutively in the middle of the night at 11:43 p.m. on a Tuesday, (I have to wake up at 3am to commute to work) 3xs waking us up to move his car. Ridiculous.The front desk gave me attitude when I came back to update my room key card (added 3 more nights for work). I go early into rotfrom, and no one came to give me service. He scolded me telling me that I shouldve rang the bell louder, so this was taken care of in the morning.Last time I remember, I have 2 living parents, and I dont need a faux one. Never again.

After reading the other reviews, and getting feedback from a travel agency, I selected this establishment for 4 employees out for 2 weeks of training at a nearby company. Boy what a mistake. Upon returning, the feedback I received was that the rooms were small, dirty and noisy - amongst other issues. I would not recommend for any length of stay.

When we arrived they gave us a room that smelled very bad. Extreme cigarette and it didnt look very neat because it was very dark. The bathroom was a bit ugly. The next day they gave us another room that was non-smoking and was very nice. Very comfortable and clean above all. Its a roadside hotel, not much more. But you have coffee in the morning and an ice machine to use. The staff is super attentive and friendly. They always tried to resolve everything that was raised. The only criticism is that people smoke (all types of cigarettes) next to the windows and one morning we woke up choked by the smell. Smoking should not be allowed near the rooms out of respect for those of us who do not smoke. The location is good, it was a little far for us because we did Santa Monica Hollywood. So for everything you had to travel at least 40 minutes. But the staff is the best.

I think Redondo is good!A pleasant motel with friendly and helpful staff.10 minutes easy walk to the beach.During my third stay, I found Redondo and the entire South Bay to be very relaxing.Nice infrastructure and nice people.Redondo Beach Pier nearby offers seafood specialties and shopping offers.I found the bike lane on the beach ideal, which enables an interesting bike tour to the Santa Monica Pier.With 3 bike shops near the motel, everything was perfect for me!
