I’m a regular client of Shane and he’s been treating me for chronic pain related to trauma. I have felt the most relief that I have felt in a long time with the work that he’s been doing. Ive been on state disability for a few months, following my doctors advice with rest, three months of physical therapy, and cortisone shots. Before that, I tried chiropractic care for 15 years and massage therapy over the past year, but none of these provided long-term improvements. I’ve been dealing with this nagging shoulder pain for what feels like forever. Tried the whole shebang, chiropractic visits, massage, even doing exercises at home, but nothing seemed to do the trick. Then I decided to give Shane a shot. Let me tell you, the customer service was next level-Like, old-school good. The actual treatment? Shane didn’t just work on my shoulder; He also dropped so much knowledge on me. He explained everything he was doing, which was super helpful. And to cap it off, ending with a cold punch in sauna? Talk about the cherry on top!

Shane has many great tools that as an athlete with a high stress job, I really appreciated. He used many techniques such as fascial scraping, deep psoas work and also some vagus nerve stimulation that really felt like it regulated my nervous system. I was very impressed!

I had been struggling with a back spasm for many weeks. Tried muscle relaxers, chiropractic care, etc. and nothing was doing the trick. I was pretty miserable and could barely lift my newborn. After one session with Shane, my back spasm was nearly gone and I stopped taking ibuprofen around the clock! My shoulders haven’t been so loose in years. Most importantly, I am now more able to show up for my child and get back to being the mom I want to be, not a mom in constant pain! So I have been looking for a professional massage therapist that does Gastron technique (muscle scraping). I reached out to Redding Revive and Restore and I couldn’t be more impressed. When I first spoke to Shane we had a great discussion on what I was looking for and what he had to offer. I made an appointment for the following day. The facility offered everything an athlete needs to properly recover. Let alone someone looking for body maintenance or injury rehab. Shane definitely knows his job and after my visit I signed up for 20 sessions. I have no doubt Shane is going to be an integral part of my future success on the bodybuilding stage.

Went today for the first time with a injury, painful for over four months. LORD, I left with no pain after and BLOWN away at how I felt after the cold plunge I was very hesitant to do. My wife and I have been doing the sauna and cold plunge therapy in efforts to improve our health, and this is the perfect place. It’s very clean and beautifully set up. So I was rear ended in a car accident and the other party took a while to accept responsibility. I needed to be seen for my upper and lower back pain. I called up Shane from Vegafit Recovery and he got me in ASAP! Did I mention he is mobile? VEGAFIT RECOVERY IS MOBILE! Shane will meet you wherever he is allowed to park! Its great! Being in the medical field I check for the condition of where I am being treated, the Vegafit Van is so clean! It looks like a spa on wheels! It smells nice and is super clean! I went to my session barely able to get in the van and left jumping down out of the van! I laid down stiff and tight with pain. When I got up after the session I moved so quick I almost fell! I got the 1hr session of Rocktape/NormaTec/Cupping. My range of motion was SO much better than before. I gave it a week before I left a review because I wanted to see how long this would last. Short review: Excellent and novel approach to achieving tissue release that can cause chronic pain. This is coming from a physiotherapist who has tried A LOT of different treatments from many professionals - would (and already have) return to see Shane. But dont expect a relaxing treatment - if you want to get rid of (chronic) pain, expect that releasing those tissues is going to be unpleasant.Long review: Saw Shane originally for my right rib pain (lats and intercostals) following being hit by a car three weeks before. It hurt to use my right arm and to sneeze/cough, which worried me as I was taking a diving course a few days later.The Pain Free session consists of the TheraGun (as a warm up, it does go deeper and releases myofascia/scar tissue as well), then the fascia blaster (which can be excruciating but is necessary to achieve the release you need) with a magnesium cream applied. You can choose to add essential oils with the fascial treatment for a small cost. Cupping followed this (yes, this hurts as well and exquisitely so when Shane adds in range of motion). If you look at the pics below: the one of my back had some areas that were immediately purple (lateral cups) which indicate longstanding stagnation of blood. Yes, I was tender afterward but that dissipated within a couple days. I was able to do planks and push myself off the ground with minimal pain the next day - which wasnt able to do before. Am I completely pain-free? No, it hurts a bit to swim but it does not surprise me that I have some residual pain considering the extent of my injuries. I otherwise would not have been able to complete my diving course with the pain I had.I went back to see Shane after my course to work on my right leg for some annoying but occasional stabbing pain into my foot - a result of nerve damage from sneezing and having extremely lax SI joints 2 years ago (thats another story, but no longer an issue after PRP to give my SI joints stability). Did the same Pain Free treatment as described before - definitely feel more ROM into my leg even an hour after. Not anywhere near as sore as the other treatment - which you may be able to tell from the less severe bruising post-cupping.I also had the opportunity to try out Shanes Normatec device (compression). Did the TheraGun on my glutes first (ouch, that hurt too!) and then 1/2hr of compression therapy with the hip attachment. A different way to achieve release and definitely felt sore the next day, but was able to stretch my glutes more effectively after that treatment.Overall, I highly recommend Shanes approach to treating chronic pain (I wouldnt recommend for acute injuries, unless doing the Normatec alone as the other treatments would be way too intense). There is reasoning that makes the combination of treatments he uses to be so effective. I absolutely would come back again when Im on island as Im sure to find something else that could use Shanes treatment. I will definitely be discussing my experience and the knowledge Shane shared with me with my colleagues and hopefully change the approach physios take to chronic pain.

My first time going to Vegafit Recovery was all I expected it to be and more. I got to experience many techniques Shane offers and he didn’t disappoint. I was very impressed with how he explained everything and is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. After getting hurt at work over 6 years ago (Back, neck, and shoulders), I have been in non-stop, constant pain, and I have seen countless chiropractors, massage therapists, Physical therapists etc. Shane was able to perform techniques from all of these different types of services, and when I left my appointment I felt so much lighter and relaxed, and not in pain!!! I went in for some back and neck pain and stress and came out feeling relaxed and walking more upright with less muscle tension. I did my 2nd therapy session with Shane today. Worked on my lower back and legs. After my first session on my lower back I felt completely different and able to move around better. My lower back pain is a chronic issue, I have been to physical therapy and a chiropractor that did help however the therapy received from Shane was a different feeling of comfort. We had spoke of working the lower body and Shane definitely showed his knowledge and explained thoroughly about how your body works. I saw Shane for shoulder and neck pain, I have had stiff necks and back pain since high school, and I also train MMA full time. After the fist session I had felt light and I ended up being able to catch a restful night of sleep. I am really looking forward to another session. Shane was really knowledgeable and insightful on his techniques and methods. The van was very spacious and relaxing from the lights to the calming smells. The best part for me was that it wasn’t just one method of recovery, but rather multiple types of treatments to help the body and nervous system. I had had some doubts about getting recovery work done but the pain I had been experiencing in my neck was excruciating and really inhibiting everything I did. I’ve been dealing with seemingly random aches and pains for a decade. Mostly knee joint and lower back pain. I’ve done physical therapy multiple times. I’ve had X-rays and MRIs in various locations and nothing has ever gotten to the root of the problem. Theres no way you can go just once! I felt so great after my session. Ive had memberships to massage companies, but they dont compare to the range of services & results I got with VFR. With massages, I never experienced the bliss & relaxation past 1 or 2 days, but after just ONE visit with Shane, I received several types of therapy, and the pain-free, feel good sensation lasted weeks! I can be quite financially conservative so I hesitated to start the membership before experiencing the service, but trust me, youll want to go back. After having my first baby, my body needed a complete overhaul. I treated my husband and mother to a session as well and had Shane come to us so we could rotate all within the comfort of our driveway.The reviews were confirmed and he did not disappoint. My husband who is almost 15 years in the military felt brand new after his all inclusive session. I also had the all inclusive as well as the stomach reset. I have been in the infantry for 5 years and have had lingering back pain from all the hikes and movements. I’ve been to multiple massage parlors. I have never had a massage or even been to a spa before. I didnt know what to expect from a Vega Fit pain free session. Shane worked on my back using a theragun, fascia blaster and cupping to relieve my back. To my surprise Shane worked on my feet as well. I could just feel the knots loosing up from just my feet being worked on. I had right elbow pain that I told Shane about and he worked on that specific area. When he was working on my elbow the muscles were tight enough it was hurting as he started out but after just a few minutes the pain I did have was completely gone. Shane knows his stuff! He took the time to listen to my condition (major discomfort down my right side), explain his diagnosis, and how the things he did would benefit my pain. I woke up at Sunday morning to go to the gym and pulled my back. I called several professional services hoping to take care of this pain and I was basically walking like the hunchback of Notre Dame the whole day. On Mar 11, Jeff suffered a massive muscle spasm across his ribs that would just not let go (it even bruised above his ribcage). He couldnt breathe or move without being in immense pain. Jeff is no stranger to muscle spasms (having had soft tissue injuries in the past) but this seemed to be something entirely different, lasting over a day. I did a Google search for massage near me and the first site to come up was Vegafit Recovery. I read a bit, checked a few other sites, and immediately went back to Vegafit. It sounded like well-rounded pain management treatments. I left a VM and Shane called me back immediately (apologizing for the late response – it was 10 min tops – as he was driving his daughter to school ❤️). He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Immediately I felt like I found the right place. Shane fit him in for an appointment the same day. I watched as Shane gave him an hour treatment in his amazing mobile location consisting of a number of techniques (theraguns/manual manipulation/cupping/rock tape and more). Jeff said it hurt like hell but experienced immediate relief. Shane mentioned that it would take about 72 hours to really see a difference. Daily Jeff felt so much better and sure enough, in 72 hours, felt amazing. We wanted him to have more treatments but Shane said he couldnt rework the area immediately. He recommended we try red light therapy. We looked at his packages and decided that in 3 days it would be hard to do 12-25 minute sessions. Shane happily allowed us to split the package between the 2 of us. (I have fibromyalgia and my shoulders were quite bad at the time.) For 3 days following, we each went for 2 back-to-back red light treatments. Shane continued to recommend other therapies and added in some more treatments for Jeff (like the pranamat). Jeff had just had a knee replacement January 7 so Shane worked on it as well during his red light appointments (normatech/manual manipulation/rock tape). Jeff is still feeling great (knee included). Still today (Mar 30) my shoulder pain has been lesser than it has been for YEARS. This experience was live changing ... and meeting Shane was our true pleasure.

I was a student athlete for years and I no longer have accessibility to the trainers like I used to. Personally, this was my first ever massage or any type body adjustment. I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect, but from previous reviews I was curious what Shane could do for me. Decided to see Shane because both my brother and sister go to see him when they need to get worked on and I’ve only ever heard amazing things so it was a no brainer for me when i needed my back to be worked on. I am 4 months pregnant and there were no issues or restrictions on what he could do on me. I had the Thera gun used on me for the first time and it was amazing (a good sore). I found Vegafit Recovery through Instagram on a post he did about facial w/ the cupping method and I heard about this before but was curious to try it so I went ahead & booked. When you arrive, you will notice it’s a mobile office which is super convenient and I learned Shane will even come to your home if you wanted! The session itself was very interesting and soothing and the cupping was not uncomfortable at all. He also place a vibrating foam roller which helped my neck. After the cupping he also massaged my scalp and then finished it w/ a light therapy where I sat in front of bright lights that felt warm on my face.The entire session lasted for 30 min. Today as gifted to me by my sister I finally went to see shane at Vegafit Recovery! I did a session with him that is called I believe “Revitalize room” and let me tell you it was a great experience. Coming into to this I honestly didnt know what to expect. My session was 1hr and it was quite stress relieving. I got to learn how using a certain method of breathing can help control my pH level and even help lowering my blood pressure. During this session I realized just how painful my sciatica was and tension I have in my shoulders which is probably my main cause for these headaches I’ve been getting lol. He literally worked the heck out of those nerves and as soon as I got home I could start feeling little bit of a difference in my shoulders. I entered Shane’s contest for a FREE STRETCH. What a blessing it was! I entered it for my 19 yr. old son. Back in 2012 when he was 12 yrs old he was diagnosed with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. It happened while he was at school in the 7th grade, his right arm turned blue and started shaking. He went through tons of test, saw lots of doctors, physical therapist, and therapist, he missed most of his middle school years and had to have home hospital schooling. He would have good days and bad days for the next 5 yrs. He had less pain as he got older but, when the pain would come back it was bad. He would sleep at times 12-14 hours a day because of the pain, he would be frail and lethargic, head aches and lots of restlessness. He’s been blessed because God showed him how to handle the pain as time went on.Then I hurt my L4 and L5 that caused a sciatica down my left leg back in 2011. Along with that I became my Mom’s full time caregiver in 2012. I was in so much pain. I didn’t take any of the pain meds because it made me feel horrible. I did not want to have surgery. Then in 2014 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Sjögren’s Syndrome. I had constant pain. My Sed Rate levels were through the roof and even my Rheumatologist stated that he couldn’t figure out how I was walking. I was placed on Methotrexate and heavy doses of Prednisone. Also, I was placed on a few other medication that had really bad side effects. I’ve had tons of good and bad days. The weather trigures my pains, foods I’d eat, stress and just about anything else.Vega Fit Elite is a BLESSING from GOD! Its been a little over a year since I injured my back in the gym. The doctor only gave me steroids for what turned out to be a temporary fix. My back never fully recovered. I have bilateral hip labrum tears on both hips and a Ruptured L-5 disc. I’m speechless and still in shock after my first session with Shane. Let me tell you how hard life has been since I was diagnosed with costochronditis in August. On top of that I have knee problem, constant middle and lower back pain, chest pain, pain on shoulder blades etc...i was constantly in pain everyday. I was taking ibuprofen, Prilosec, muscle relaxer and other medications everyday. I do physical therapy once a week and sometimes I do massage therapy but nothing seemed to work right away. All I wanted was the pain to go away. I was scheduled to see a chiropractor but then I got sick and wasn’t able to go. Funny thing was, I believe it was meant to be. I am a 88M (Motor Transport Operater) in the Army, I move alot! About 5 years ago I broke my tailbone and doctors said there was no need for surgery. I had 2 kids since then. I’ve been through physical therapy atleast 4 times for lower back pain, particularly in the previously injured area.After having my 2nd child it’s been a lot more challenging getting back to myself. From postpartum, duty, and reconditioning, it’s been tough !!! I’ve recently surpassed my recondionting phase of training and getting back in shape thanks to Shane’s help! I went to see Shane for hip pain. His knowledge about is craft and his passion for what he does is great. He did his thing but unfortunately it didnt completely cure my pain after my first session. After talking with him we decided on neuromuscular stretching. Instead of just the stretching he added a little bit of everything else that he does to make sure he did what ever he could to knock out this pain. Im happy to report that I have no more pain in my hip. Dont expect your typical massage. He uses different tools and explains exactly what hes doing and what is does for you. Dont be afraid to give him a try, you wont regret it..

For months, since lifting heavy weights my shoulders had been giving me major pain to where I couldnt continue working out. Recently, my right shoulder had got so bad that I went to my doctor to get it checked out because my regular day to day activities that required me to use my right shoulder was extremely difficult and restricted. After Xrays, I was prescribed to go to physical therapy and come back in 6 weeks... 😐 Let me start off by saying that Ive been in and out of physical therapy for awhile due to a workmans comp injury so Ive had the best and the worst massage therapist out there. Also what brother Shane does is much more than just massage. Wednesday, I had so much tension and tightness in my upper back, neck and shoulders, that I ended up with a debilitating migraine. On Thursday, brother Shane worked on me for the first time. After my session, I noticed my upper back, neck, and shoulders were much more relaxed and the mobility in my injured shoulder had dramatically increased! When I moved my shoulder in a way that would normally leave me cringing- the pain had greatly diminished. About 15mins after, I stepped out of my car and I felt like I was standing and walking taller and my entire back felt relaxed. Yesterday, we had a family beach day. Although there was still some soreness, setting up and tearing down our canopy, chairs, tables, wrestling around with my son and nephew, and also carrying my 15 kayak at a 100lbs along with some light kayaking was almost completely pain free. Today, I paddled out about 3 miles offshore in my kayak through some surf and swells and had absolutely zero pain and I felt stronger than I have in a long time. Thank you brother!

Before my appointment, I was experiencing some serious chronic shoulder/back pain that left me quite immobile for a few days. Took pain meds that did no justice. Did stretching still nothing helped. Then I remembered seeing numerous people post about Vegafit on Instagram in the past and seen how great their experience was with Shane, so I took the leap of faith and tried it out. Got there to the meet up location in ewa and immediately told him what I was experiencing and very confidently he responded, “that’s easy work.” Session began and it was the greatest feeling ever. I seen Shane for the first time this week after suffering with sciatica for 7 months. 10 Years, 10 long years of grueling lower back pain! During my senior year of high school football I dealt with and accepted pain coming from an awful injury to my back. ( literally bent in half backwards ). Years went by of placing pillows under my hips, back and stomach just to relieve a small amount of pain to sleep through the night. OMG... this is a must! I got into a car accident a few years ago, and ever since then I had lower back pain. I been having massages and chiropractor adjustments to help relieve some tension, but it’s nothing like having this done. I only went on the machine for 20 minutes which i could definitely feel the blood flow down my legs. When it was done, my legs felt so relaxed and like jello. My lower back pain was also gone. A few hours later as I got home, I told myself I’m going to try something that I know I would feel the pain. So of course people who have lower back pain know that you can’t lay on your stomach, because as soon as you turn over or stand up, you have this excruciating lower back pain. I also have been sleeping on my back with 2 pillows under my knees to help alleviate the pressure on my lower back, so when I wake up the next morning I can get out of bed with less pain in my back. Anyways I laid down on my stomach for about 20 minutes, and usually while laying on my stomach just for minute I would feel my back pain. But I didn’t at all this time. Then, after I got up, I would usually feel pain from my lower back shoot down to my legs. But this time no pain at all!!!! We were on the verge of putting out 13 year old dog, Element, down because he couldnt stand, was covered in sores with no appetite and appeared as though he had no strength to live. Our vets believe had had lymphoma but because of his age, we decided tests and treatments would be too much for him. We werent even able to get him into the car to get him to the vet. My wife had made an appointment for me to see shane as a fathers day gift this year and let me tell you, BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !! i i was diagnosed with severe carpal tunnel in both hands that my doctors directed me that i would be needing surgery in both hands. I just got out of a session and couldn’t wait to write a positive review. I have been dealing with lower back pain for years and have tried many more traditional methods without relief. After a single one hour session, cold plunge and sauna, I am feeling incredible release. He is so informative and knowledgeable. He walked me through each step of the process and what my body was communicating. It was such a wonderful experience.
