Does not say anywhere that this hotel is for long term stay and that it is crawling with homeless and drug addicts as well as drug dealers. The hotel rooms were very spacious but not to clean. The people staying long term are all addicts and it does not feel safe at night they do have security at night but he was only seen a couple times during our stay and well we stayed the cops where there everyday just parked and watching. I would not recommend nor stay again.

This place can be better and more family oriented if the staff would stop renting rooms to transients. At night it is very sketchy. It has beautifullandscaping and a great location the beds are comfortable. I used this place for work travel purposes until I got black listed for something insignificant. The staff was alright, they can be better in customer service. I give it a 3 out of 10. It could be better if the security will do his job

I got more than I expected for the price. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel before the punk festival last weekend. Room and beds were clean. Kitchen was nice with a full fridge! Very happy.

The Red Roof Inn in San Dimas gets a solid four stars from me. Heres the breakdown:Location: This hotel is in a fantastic spot! Its close to downtown San Dimas and within easy reach of attractions like Raging Waters Waterpark and Cal Poly Pomona. For sightseeing and exploring, its perfect.Rooms: This is where things get a bit tricky. The rooms have the potential to be good. They come with refrigerators and sinks, which is handy for longer stays or those who like to bring their own snacks and drinks. Unfortunately, my room felt a bit neglected. The power outlets were loose and unusable, which is a major maintenance issue. It seems like the upkeep hasnt quite kept pace with the potential.Overall, the Red Roof Inn San Dimas is a good option for budget-minded travelers who prioritize location. However, if they can address the maintenance concerns, especially the outlets, it could be a great stay.

Red Roof I SO much better than it used to be. The rooms are nicer, and the gal at the front desk made it possible for me to be downstairs. It seemed she was supposed to place me somewhere else. They have refrigerators with a freezer (actually clean), a microwave, coffee maker (the Keurig on the microwave is mine because they aren’t that fancy!), blow dryer, ironing board and iron. They have new bed covers (that I still have no intention of ever using!), a desk, flat screen tv, and the floor (that isn’t under the bed) is “hard wood floor” that isn’t all ghetto and tore up. There is cabinet space (if you actually use the cabinets, a lamp and night stand that you can plug into instead of climbing behind and under objects to plug in your phone or computer (and whatever else). You are close to KFC, McDonald’s, Taco Bell, the 57 freeway and gas station. There is a car wash just down the street, and a lot of other things close by like Applebees, Red Robin, the bowling alley, skate park, and Pioneer Park. Plenty of things to do with the kids within walking distance. I haven’t see all the tweakers and sheriffs like you used to see here constantly. I’ll update this if that changes. :) Way better than a few years ago, and they are a LOT cheaper than other hotels, motels, inns, etc. if you to the weekly rate. You have to call at 3pm to see if you can do the “extended stay” which sucks, but totally worth it if you are able to get in.

This location is a beautiful location needs to be more staff famliy oriented also this staff member ERIK has a bad attitude nd terrible energy is rude, disrespectful, and told me he likes “boys and men.” I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. He also was trying to charge me more MONEY I booked a room for 5 days this is crazy all this for being switch downstairs. He was also get in his feelings instead of being a professional guest staff Iam a father of 3 and a husband as a African American citizen I’m very upset I paid my hard working American money to be treated like this all because I was suppose to be in a downstairs and they put me upstairs with kids even when I was told I would be switched nothing happened trying to speak with property manger about this and contact the better business bureau

Its not a stop theGriswalds would choose. But is the kind of place you would find a woman skinny dipping in the pool at 3am. Its the place that never sleeps and never fails to entertain . The staff stoicley marches on as if they run a 5 star hotel doing their best to maintain their dignityThey do a pretty good job at staying positive, staying on housekeeping, and gardeningAnd not allowing this facility to become run down, inspite of the guest best efforts to do so.

It’s alright at first but front staff isn’t the friendliest and they may place you on the nice side when you first arrive then place you on the dirty side which isn’t okay, my parents have health issues which they weren’t understanding and aren’t letting us stay on the nice side anymore and they didn’t seem to care about my parents health issues as they can’t be in dirty rooms and they say pet friendly but then won’t let you stay in certain rooms over a pet odor complaint after us checking out after a month and after they’ve rented multiple big nice rooms to us so only feel the complaint was to move us to the dirty side which has roaches and smells as they prefer to have pets on the dirty side which is also not right. I clean homes and businesses for a living and am not dirty and my dogs are trained so I wish instead of the staff not giving people any chances to give people at least one chance.

I appreciate the hospitality, from the team members Lisa, Sabrina, Jackie, and Shelly we all have lives and I felt very heard of my concerns n questions when it came to my stay here at the red roof inn ill definitely be coming back. 😊

This place is in a beautiful location and i had a nice stay there. The rooms are decent and pretty good for extended stays. Service was nice and friendly. The room could have been a little cleaner but not terrible.
