Our server his name started with R he always checked up on us, nice guy and smiled. Now Our Clam Chowder was not Hot but still taste good. Two of us got the shrimp 🍤 linguini Alfredo and it was salty ☹️

The food is good. Had the surf and turf. Lobster tail and steak. The restaurant is a little dark. Dont know why they keep it at such a low light. Makes you feel like your eyesight is going, especially after a long day at work. Wish they would turn up the lights a little more. Otherwise its ok for a now and then place to eat.

Server was wayyy too busy handling multiple tables but she still offered very nice and friendly services!Ordered a CYO Ultimate Feast with Snow Crab, Lobster Tail, and Shrimp Alfredo. The lobster tail did not tasted really fresh but snow crab was decent. The shrimp alfredo was not as falvorful, tasted like what you can easily make at home. Strawberry smoothie tasted like those cocktail strawberry flavor, very artificial and sweet. Mango lemonade was good. Their lobster biscuit was really good and was def a plus! But overall.. would probably not visit this location again.

Red Lobster in Brea, CA is our preferred anniversary dinner celebration. We have not been in a few years and were wondering how they fared post covid and rising costs. They seemed to be a little understaffed but we didnt count. The hostess was friendly and talkative which is good. Ive been ignored at other restaurants. Our server, Randall, was friendly, welcoming and attentive. When we had questions, he had the answer. He took the time to ask some questions and took our picture. The food was DELICIOUS. We both had top sirloin that was tender and cooked to perfection. The baked potatos could have been cooked a little longer but that may just be my preference. The broccoli was yummy. My wife had the rock lobster which is a little pricey compared to Maine but she loved it. I had a bowl of clam chowder which could have been a little thicker but it was still good. We topped it off with chocolate wave cake & ice cream! Yumyumyumyum. All in all, it was a great night out!

Unfortunately, it was not a good night for our server, Daniel. He appeared to be too busy to give good service. From the beginning, we waited quite a while before another server brought us our bread and apologized for the wait. Our server finally came and we ordered. The food was decent and my friend got the endless shrimp, but because Daniel was so inattentive, she didnt get to have any more. I needed to ask a bus person for a box, because Daniel was MIA, and by then, we were over trying to pretend we had a server, so we paid via the table kiosk. Its too bad because I usually have great experiences at Red Lobster, but sadly this was not one of them.

Late lunch Sat afternoon. No wait.Seated & greeted. Anything to drink? Or are you ready to order? I inquired if they still made a delishious black raspberry daiquiri they made probably 25 years ago.She said shed check. And said Yes!Great well take two!My son is not much of a seafood eatter but he ordered a combo of popcorn shrimp & the coconut shrimp.I asked for price on 1.25lb lobster. $50 bucks. I chose that. Im there for lobster.She returns with our drinks. Not the same black raspberry I was talking about, but tasty. $13.99 ea.She asks if I want to pick my lobster? I hesitate, Ive seen tanks out front, but never chosen one from it. I decide to go look.They all want on the rake, so I say anyone of them is fine.Their biscuits are delishious.The food comes & looks great!But I discover I have no idea how to get the meat out of a full steamed lobster! Ive only eatten tails. I work on a claw untill the waitress comes to check on us. She offers to take my lobster back & have it cracked up by the pros.Dinner was great from there. A little work but worth it. All I ate was lobster, took all sides home for lunch.I highly recommend this place. Its pricy, so plan or save according.Our meals & 2 cocktails total $100. And dont forget the tip. We tipped 20% as everything was well executed, which added another $20 to our tab.Money well spent on a special meal.

The lobster is great! Sides are mediocre; has no taste and laden with salt. Waitress was attentive but could be better. Like, bring extra napkins with the lobster. We had to ask for water and had to request things twice. I hope they dont close cos the atmosphere is good and very few places you can actually choose your own lobster.

Been passing this place for at least 20 years, and finally oaid a visit today.Friendly staff and delicious food. Wont wait for another 20 years to visit this place again. 😂04/23/2023: came here for the endless shrimps for $20 deal. Had shrimp skewers, scampi/walnut/coconut shrimps. Great deal. Probably wont miss shrimp for a long time.

Its... fine.The place seemed relatively quiet, yet seating required a 25 minute wait, and food took almost an hour to come out. Staffing issues, perhaps? By the time I left, the place was packed, so hopefully they handle the rush better.I got the fish n chips. The fries were okay. The fish was okay. The coleslaw was inedible. It didnt come with a lemon wedge or tartar sauce, which I consider standard fare for such a dish.The price was decent.Would I go again? Probably not.

A nice place if looking for decent food in a quiet environment. I admire the attempt of the restaurant to produce that New England feel. There are pictures of lighthouses and an aquarium of lobsters that gives the impression that this franchise eatier is different than others.Service was fast and friendly. I appreciated the hostess that sat us near the window and away from large parties which was nice and added to the enjoyment of our dinner. Our server David was attentive to our needs.

This is the first and last time Im ordering the never-ending shrimp or heading back to a Red Lobster for a while. The shrimps are very good lots of options. That said, the waiter told us we would only be allowed to order one small plate at a time which is about three shrimps. She said it was due to people taking advantage. The waiter would bring the three shrimps at a time as we finish them, ten to fifteen minutes later. Our plates had to be empty. It was an awful experience. You would need to be here for 6 hours to fill yourself. It was embarrassing, I brought my parents with me to try out the restaurant. I do not know if all locations have the same policy. My parents got so hungry, they just ended up getting the regular items and sharing those.

I got an order delivered from grub hub about 30 min ago. Loved the Maine lobster tails!5, they are sweet juicy and still warm, with melted butter. What was NOT good was the lobster juice in the tray was sopped up by the fresh French fries that were no longer crispy but soggy and cold, yuk! So gross! They need to package the fries like the side of broccoli in a tray that’s still warm and fresh.

Walked in and there was a 50 minute wait time so my and dad and I opted for the bar. We sat at a table that was in the bar area and was ignored for 10 minutes. Went and sat at the bar, another 10 minutes went by without being greeted. Had to order all of our food and drink at the same time otherwise we would not see the waitress for a good amount of time. I get that the bar is responsible for their customers and making drinks for others but there was on organization or order. Also bar needs to be kept by consistanly wiping it down. There were crumbs everywhere.

A decent place if youre craving some lobster...Nearby to a major mall (Brea Mall) and close to many estabishments.Parking is never an issue...The service is always friendly and attentive.Food prep can sometimes have issues. Like undercooked lobsters or clam.. So be mindful.Always order your seafood w/ all toppings (on the side) as the butter and oil can be overly generous... I recommend everything freshly grilled..Managers are always willing to help out patrons..Overall - a decent place for an afternoon meal...

This Red Lobster location offers a great dining experience with delicious food. I recently enjoyed their fish and chips, and the taste was absolutely fantastic—crispy on the outside and tender inside. The quality and freshness of the fish were exceptional, leaving me craving for more.However, during my visit, I found presence of an in-house photographer to be a bit intrusive. While I understand the intention behind capturing moments, the frequent interruptions were slightly bothersome and affected the otherwise relaxing ambiance. Itd be wonderful if they could find a balance that respects diners privacy while still capturing the essence of the experience. Additionally, the booths felt a bit cramped, affecting comfort during the meal.Despite this, the overall service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured a pleasant dining journey. The ambiance was cozy, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable.

The mozzarella sticks are so cheesy that they even do a cheese pull!!! they may be the best ones from all the other food chains that serve mozzarella sticks, and the marinara sauce is actually pretty decent they have the right amount of tamotoity taste I got the bacon mac and cheese and the lobster ligunie My friend got the surf and turf with bake potatoes and rice on my dish the Mac and cheese has a interesting taste and I think its cause the quality of cheese they use and my taste buds are not used to the taste sorry not a cheese expert. The pasta was good. i think that they had the right ratio of lobster the lobster for some reason taste more fishy than the lobster that is eating on its own maybe its just me who thinks that the surf and turf my friend got she will give it a 4 1/2 out of 10 the rice was really stale hard and chewy at the Same time and the baked potato honestly its was really bad she was really upset because no one told us that it came with sour cream instead of butter???? overall, it was a somewhat unexpectetly interesting experience. I had the worst experience at this location while celebrating my fathers birthday and its entirely due to the manager this evening Eileen (not sure if this is how her name is spelled). This will be a long review but its better to tell the whole story than just say Eileen is horrible with no context.To say Eileen was rude would be an understatement. She threatened to not seat our party after I wanted the regional managers information to inform him of the mistakes made by the hostess when making my reservations. I called the night I made my reservation (Jan 31) and again this afternoon (Feb 10) to confirm my reservation. At no point did the hostess say I needed to speak to a manager due to the size of our party. They both confirmed the party of 14 was confirmed, however when we got there they had not updated the system and had us down for a party of 6. When the manager came over, she made no attempts to figure out what happened. Instead she just said over and over that I didnt make a reservation for 14 since I didnt speak to a manager. Herein lies the problem: neither one of the hostess I spoke to when I called in transferred me to a manager when I told them the party size. But instead of checking with the gentleman I spoke with at 1:43 (after showing her my call logs to prove I did in fact call in today), Eileen just kept saying I couldnt have made the reservation since I never spoke to a manager. How would I know I need to speak to a manager if the hostess answering the phone dont inform me of that?Instead of trying to see what she could do, she said we could do 6 people or wait an hour. Which we were willing to do. Because I mentioned escalating this error to a regional manager, Eileen went on a power trip and wanted our party to leave. Since it was for my fathers birthday, my mother pleaded with her to allow us to eat there, which Eileen would only do if I didnt have an attitude with her. I think Eileen may have been projecting because at no point was I rude to her. Asking for the regional managers information is not being rude. An example of being rude would be when Eileen shouted out to our party Is she going to be ok or keep arguing when I walked over to the bar to wait for our table. Because my mother raised me right, I was the bigger person and even apologized if Eileen thought I was being rude, just so we could eat at your establishment. It was then that Eileen confirmed with Darien/Darren (Im bad with names) that he did in fact speak to me this afternoon and was also there on Jan 31 when I called in to speak with I believe Ella about my reservation.Instead of having to wait an hour, they had a table ready within 15 minutes. At no point did Eileen acknowledge the mistakes clearly made my the hostess. I understand sticking up for your employees, Ive been a manager myself. But if they are the ones who made the mistake, the manager shouldnt blame the customer. Eileen was entirely unprofessional and out of line. We only stayed because thats where my father wanted to go for his birthday.It is unfortunate that Eileen is representing this establishment because there are better management and customer service representatives at this establishment. Our server Kelsey (again not sure if this is spelled correctly) was a delight and a wonderful serverLastly, Id also like to point out that I called after we left to get Eileens name and spoke with Phillip. He gave told me a completely different policy for booking a large party reservation. Ive now been told 3 different things by the staff. Clearly there is a disconnect between your staff and the reservation policy because I have now been told 3 different things when it comes to that needs to be corrected.

Gave them a second chance went in to eat and the food wasn’t not cooked right and not even seasoned properly. Not a great red lobster I won’t return to this location again. Yesterday my boyfriend and I sat by the bar in nolans section. We ordered the langostino pizza, the salmon lobster and shrimp platter, and the lobster linguini. Nolan recommended we try the linguini with Cajun and it was a delicious recommendation. Nolans service was prompt and professional. We met elvyia from the kitchen and were so thankful for the delicious food she helped to prepare. Definitely will be returning We were very happy with our visit the food and service was outstanding.

My husband and I have been coming to Red Lobster for 35 years. In Ohio in Florida in Dubai and in LA. We have always enjoyed a great meal there and sometimes when there was an hour wait it was worth it. Last night we ate at this Red Lobster in Brea CA. and had one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Our server Lori (Laura P) was rude condescending and made our entire outing a disaster. We were 4 and no one could even finish their plate. Lori told us there would be no sharing allowed with the endless shrimp. So 3 of us ordered that and my husband ordered lobster tails. I was unaware that our meal would be policed by Lori. My husband gave me some of his lobster and I gave him some of my shrimp. Once the plate is in front of me and I paid full price it is mine to do as I please. Lori walked by and saw two shrimp tails on my husbands plate.... Me and my mom waited an hour to be seated when there was 7 booths open. There seats are so old there all ripped, with all the money they make they can’t even put some towards the seats. They said they would text or call us when they are ready to seat us and we never got that text. There is scraps all over the floor and some tables haven’t even been cleaned yet. Yesterday was my birthday, and my husband recently passed away from a motorcycle accident. It was a hard day and hard to celebrate. The staff could tell when I first walked in that I was having a hard time. from start to finish the service and food was excellent. They gave me a free appetizer of my choice and were very attentive. My Mom shared with them it was my birthday and what my kids and I have been through privately, at the end of our meal and next thing you know, all the servers bring me a huge dessert and sing me happy birthday. The manager got down on eye level and expressed that her family are riders and she was so sorry for my loss. she said she took everything I had ate off the bill and gave me a hug. I was in tears. Im still in awe of the customer service and compassion we received. my 7 year old son asked as soon as we got in the car if we could visit all the servers again. Ill never forget this experience and am thankful for genuine people like this. I definitely give 5 stars!

The last few times weve dined at the Brea Red Lobster have been disappointing. I dont mind waiting for a table knowing that Saturday evenings are busy, but after being seated it became apparent that the restaurant was short handed on wait staff and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Our food took quite a while to be brought out. My salmon bowl was not good. The Brussels sprouts were burnt and overdone. Wont order that again. The food is good, typical Red Lobster. Getting drinks is difficult. During are last few visits, it takes forever to get our drinks. There never seems to be a bartender and when someone does start making drinks, we are told the bar is backlogged. Today we canceled our drink order because we had already started eating. We just had water. Terribly managed and a loss for Red Lobster. The hostess wasnt welcoming at all. Our server was nice but didnt stop by our table enough. We ordered endless shrimp. We found ourselves finished with our serving then having to wait 5-10 minutes for our next shrimp order. Maybe thats Red Lobsters way of controling the amount of shrimp their customers order (the server not stopping by enough and having to wait between servings). Also, when we were deciding our side which come with endless shrimp, the server made suggestions. When we received the bill the sides suggested by the server were an extra cost. It was only $8 more but as a courtesy the server should have mentioned the upcharge. We are a rewards member but I think Im done with Red Lobster, at least the Brea location.

Used to go here for 2 lb of snow crab. Now that $30 meal costs $60. One and a half pounds just isnt enough to fill up so you buy a bunch of extras and hope for the best. The Lobster Dip was a great appetizer. My son got all you can eat shrimp but after the first round decided it was just too salty and just didnt want to eat anything else there at all. Im sure for three of us it was well over $100 in considering we had to individually ask for every thing at the table the experience this time was overpriced. Today we were celebrating my little sisters birthday, she really loves this place especially the seafood. The restaurant was super clean and the bathrooms were well stocked as well. There are hand sanitizers all around the restaurant and they allow you to look at the menu digitally through your cellphone or you can use the paper menus they give you as well. All the employees here today on October 22, 2020 were extremely attentive, friendly, professional, and safe the entire time. The staff is so helpful and they have amazing attitudes. All the staff members kept their masks on while working and attending to customers. My Maine lobster I ordered somehow had the shell sticking to the meat so most bites I had to pull shell out of my mouth. We spent about an hour and a half there with only about a half hour eating due to the delays in getting service and them trying to get the gift card to work. Then, when leaving I tried to get a toothpick to get the lobster stuck between my teeth removed, they were out of toothpicks. The guy at the counter said he would get one for me. Then another customer came in, so he had to seat them. That took another 4 minutes. When he came back, he said he would get me a toothpick. But then another customer came in that he said he had to seat first. I just gave up trying to get a toothpick at that point and left. Worst experience ever!

We went on a Monday night to avoid crowds. We ordered the ayce shrimp special. There were a couple of other tables occupied with 2 or 4 people on our section and one table with a large (both literally and figuratively) party. Our order was taken. Not much of a wait for salads, a slight delay on the appetizer . Got our entrees and the server kinda ignored us because of the large party. Waited a good 15 minutes to get drink refills and entree refills. Not a great experience but what can you expect from corporate dining.

Terrible service. First, we were told a 30 minute wait and it ended up being almost an hour. Our server never came by to ask how our meal was or if we wanted refills of our drinks, which were empty. We never got one of the items we ordered, so we asked two different waiters and they said it would be right out. It never came. Spoke to the manager after who said that “we should have let her know in the moment so she could have done something about it.” If anyone had come by, or if we saw the manager during the meal, we wouldn’t have had the problem in the first place!

I thought the inside of Red Lobster restaurant was nicely done. However, the lunch plates menu are very minimal for what this restaurant is charging. We ordered the white fish sole. The portion was extremely small with only one side dish. The waitress mixed up our salads when delivering them to the table. They do promote appetizers so be prepared to pay more.

For now, it will have be 3.5 STARS. May be later when we get back to the new normal (whatever and whenever it is), it will be better.The waitress kept calling us dears. The main course (rock lobster) came before the soup. Even the cocktail came after the main course. No suggestion for dessert.As for the food itself, the lobster was edible but the clam chowder was very watery, just white soup and few potatoes.We gave them 20% gratuity but it may be a little while before we go back.

Our primary concern however was the disdain by the clerk who was the manager when I told him he should be wearing a mask At first he ignored me and when I again suggested that he should be wearing a mask and perhaps gloves to give us the food, his answer was do you know how hot it is in there pointing to the kitchen where the assistant obtaining the food had a mask only over her mouth. I said you are not in the kitchen and he said I just was. Very poor concern for the customers and their staff. Most of the food take out restaurants indicate that they are taking as many precautions as possible-----except for the Red Lobster in Brea----this is why the virus spreads!!!

This is my favorite restaurant. I love seafood. I have ordered several different entrees there and have loved everyone. I and my husband enjoy their buttery biscuits and an appetizer while we wait for our food. Because it is expensive for our budget, we go there for special occasions and holidays only. The closest location to us is the Red Lobster next to Brea Mall. For us it is an approximate 40 minute drive using the toll roads and/or freeways. How I wish there was one closer to Foothill Ranch.

They have really upped their game recently. We had a great server and we got the happy hour appetizers before our water came. It pays to go a little early as it can get busy. My sirloin was a perfect medium rare and well seasoned. Dont pass on the Parrot Bay Coconut shrimp with pineapple dipping sauce. Many new menu items too. I was disappointed that they took the broccoli out of the calamari appetizer tho.

The appetizer was so bad that we took one bite each and sent it back. I think it was a spinach artichoke dip with shrimp and lobster but everything was so mushy and salty, it was hard to tell what was what. My steak and lobster were disgusting - the lobster was tiny and mushy. The steak was horrifically overcooked, just like the asparagus they charged me extra for. My husbands meal was equally bad. Maybe the issue was going on a Saturday for lunch instead of a busy evening. But we arent willing to take the risk again. Service was inattentive as well and a manager never visited the table or we absolutely wouldve told them all of the issues. Id recommend avoiding this location.

Tried curbside pickup today and they failed miserably. Ordered ahead online and showed up right before pickup time. I called and gave my name and car space, they did the ok it will be out shortly. 20 minutes later I finally walked in to see if they had forgotten about me. This time I followed her to the pickup area (which is in the back by the bar btw) and the guy scrambled to put the label on the bag and finish putting biscuits and silverware in. We were a family of 5, we didn’t wait long to be seated, we all ordered and waited for a VERY long time for our order, our server ended his shift and we saw another server walking and I asked her if she can have our server come to our table she said oh he’s gone for the day, I will be your server, I said oh ok. She said your food will be right out, so me and my family continued to mingle, 30 maybe 45 minutes go by and our food was still not out! At this time we are all really irritated because we were told our food would be out and yet we still had to wait. So as I was trying to get out of my booth a man is walking by and I ask if he was the manager he said yes, he apologized because our food was packaged to go and he said he will take care of our ticket I say to him we have been waiting for a very long time what is going on, again he said he would take care of our ticket and apologized I said ok that’s fair, they bring our food out and I had ordered the shrimp Alfredo and they put that on another much smaller plate with my girlfriends food, so again I told the server that my food was on someone else’s plate, so she apologized and fixed my order. My thing is it wasn’t busy at all I understand we all have a job to do but if you don’t know what your doing or if you have questions about what we ordered or needed help why not ask for help from another server to get our food out right and fast, don’t mess my order up cuz your just trying to leave work, overall worst service ever!!!! I will NOT be going back to this location

The menu prices are upwards to $40.00+ for a number of dishes. Average dish price between $20-$30. I have no idea why theyre so proud of their dishes, but has to be pretty much the worst seafood Ive ever eaten. The California Fish Grill is 1/4th the price and 10 times the quality. I can only assume that this restaurant is so poorly managed that they have to charge astronomical prices to cover the cost of all the product walking out the back door.The restaurant was basically empty on a Sunday afternoon. This is typically the busiest time of the week. Youd think theyd cop a clue as to why all the seats are empty.Who knows, maybe their logic is higher prices, less crowded, then less work for everyone working there.Always baffles me as what management is thinking when they purposely run a business model into the ground.I say, ...know your customer. Cut all of your prices in half and have a 100 people waiting in line for a table.But then.... Everyone would have to work hard. Works for ChickFil A.Take a page from their playbook. Ive been a number of times to grab a beer while shopping. I noticed they never fill the glass to the top.ok. this time i noticed the stella artois glass they had always served in said right on the side, 33cl. I did a quick google conversion, said its 11.1oz. Thats filled to the brim.Red lobster advertises 14 oz beer or 20 oz or a bottle thats 12 oz. Since this wasnt a bottle, not the large, it had to be 14oz. Thats 3oz less than advertised by using that glass. I explained the situation to the server. They asked their manager and poured a larger glass.Im curios how long they have been getting away with this? At least with me,a few times. Beware their FALSE ADVERTISING.
