Booked a river front site, a bit misleading with the iron fence around the entire property and a great view of Hwy 5. $85/night for the site was way overpriced. The facilities are newer, modern bathrooms, pool, club house but the landscaping needs attention; overgrown weeds in all the planter beds and 30-40% of the grass was dead. It was Friday night, and the spa was broken - no sign but advised by staff it had been broken since last Monday. Rented a fire place only to see I was charged $25/might for it...NEVER have I been charged more than $10 for a cheap metal wood burning fire pit. Lastly without any notice, or signs posted, the sprinklers came on and proceeded to soak all our stuff. Management and staff were friendly, and present but need more training. My real gripe is with the franchise owner. Would not recommend or stay here again, thankfully it was just a quick stop over.

I enjoyed my stay however, this park was not our cup of tea. They put us in a space right next to the dog park and was the only facilty emnity that was close to us. The trash bin was at least 800 feet away and as handicap elderly people we didnt use any of the facilities because of the distance. We dont have a golf cart nor was there any to rent. They do have some nice green grass at most of the spaces just not ours. Ours was dead and had stickers which got stuck to our dog. This park needs to do some TLC.

Fantastic wifi! Best of any RV Park in all of our travels. This park is modern, clean, spacious. Each site is paved, roomy with a level pad, patio and grass. No freeway noise. Pet friendly.

This is an RV Park so no rooms but the RV spaces are very nice. This is one of the best RV Parks I have been in. I highly recommend you stay here. The area is close to many restaurants etc.

Red bluff needs to construct sound barriers along hwy 5. Everythings too close to the highway for any sort of peace and quiet at night. Not to mention that there doesnt seem to be any exhaust volume restrictions at all.

This was our first KOA stay. What a great experience! Super quiet campers in the park (minus the subtle freeway noise, but not unlike the constant sound of the ocean). Friendly staff, super clean grounds and facilities, with staff monitoring the security of the grounds in their golf cart constantly, code-lock (safe) shower/bathroom, 2 clubhouses, beautiful pool area with a nightly fire pit fire that we looked forward to seeing from our campsite. We also really needed the full hookups and laundry room with coin changer in the main clubhouse location (they have another one on the other end of the park as well) as we had been on the road a while. Nice paved, level RV pads, and an enclosed K9 play area and river walk that our dog enjoyed. We are now KOA members and headed to our next KOA stay in Bakersfield. Enjoyed our stay!

If youre going across country on a motorcycle, I highly recommend..you sleep in the desert, or a train yard.Constant highway traffic, security lights on the bathing facility keep the grounds well illuminated. The location is convenient however if you need to pop into the local store for ice cream. 6 washers in the laundry room...4 of which were out of service. The dryers however were doing their job. In addition.. this is for motorcyclists especially.. the tent sites are on deep sand, and the entrance has DEEP gravel. And as you know. Deep gravel, and deep sand are not a loaded down motorcycles friend. Other than that...everything seemed clean,

Nice quiet RV Park. Easy access to I-5 and has views of the Sacramento River. Well maintained grounds and friendly staff. Security gates are locked at 7pm. Has a tent sites and RV sites with river view, sites with a fountain view, pool, play area for kids and adults, laundry, shower and dog park. Back in and pull through sites with 30/50 amp services are available.

The campground itself was very nice and maintained, and has a gate meant to keep people out.Staff was friendly and it was easy to get to as a stop over as it’s just off the hwy. however the giant homeless camp and pack of fentanyl smokers just outside the giant locking electric gate was kind of a bummer but then again this is California….. definitely worth the stop though if you’re just cruising through. Rest of the area is a dump

Our spot on the Sacramento River was perfect! We opened our window to a huge grass area with the river flowing by. This was definitely a resort that earned their name. It’s gated, had a beautiful pool, clubhouse, basketball, stocked office, and a terrific staff! This resort knows how it should be managed. Other RV parks should take note! We would definitely stay here again if ever passing through.

Very unhappy with our stay. Let me start with the positive... very nice grounds that are well maintained. The negative is that it is right off highway and lots of car noise. There is a homeless encampment across the river and was told to lock up all belongings at night due to theft. Did not feel safe at property or walks due to this. The pool was listed as open all season and was freezing cold and did not have heat our entire 3 night stay.

Having stayed at tons of KOAs around the country, this KOA at Red bluff California is absolutely the best. The KOA has all concrete sites with carefully manicured lawns, trees that are mature and water features in ponds. It has an amazing pool complete with cabanas and plenty of shade under huge umbrellas. There is a hot tub. And also there is a fire pit. It has a clubhouse that includes a ping pong table, comfortable chairs and sofas, a TV and a computer. It has a basketball court, hibachi court and a golf putting green. The sites are full hookup and pull through. The sites are level. The bathroom and showers are clean. The water pressure in the shower is good. There is great Wi-Fi throughout the park. There is 4G cell service with Verizon.

Unplanned camping stop on our motorcycle trip through the western USA. What a great place to have a rest for a few days! Just off the I-5 so theres a bit of road noise, but the convenience of everything else makes up for it! Grocery across the road, gas on the way in/out, great showers, laundry, and friendly staff 👍👍😎

Cleanest KOA we have ever been to! Great area, loved the pool in 108 degree weather! Thankful for the workout room and hot tub!The only bad thing I can say about this place is that my husbands bike was stolen the second day we were there, even though there is a gate. Which they did tell us that bikes could be stolen, but we hadnt had a chance to get a chain yet. There are transients that hang around the river....But i would highly recommend this place if you have a bike chain!!!

Love this as a great stop over for a few days. The concrete pads and location make it convenient. There is some road noise from I-5, but still enjoyed it. We have stayed in various places In the park, but live the back in spots next to the river.

All the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. I was thankful they had a “meet your big dog” policy instead of just outright breed discrimination. The saltwater pool and hot tub were amazing! The parking spots were concrete with grass on both sides with a picnic table to use. Electric hookups were gently lit at night. I would definitely recommend and will most definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite RV resorts. We love that it was secure. The pool, clubhouse and laundry room were all excellent. My children also enjoyed the basketball court. The grounds are in excellent shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a small little dog park but atleast they have 1. The fountains are a nice touch as well. My 1 and only complaint was the lack of shade. We had a very high power bill for the 5 weeks we stayed.(it was hot 100° + daily) We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. The prices are amazing too.

Beautiful RV Park. Its clean, has good amenities and the staff was helpful and nice. Admittedly, we stayed only for a night and so wer only there for a brief time. But we still had fun even though our stay only lasted a few hours. The pool is large and inviting, with the pool area with tons of seating, a great spa, and a nice fireplace area with a gas fire pit that was just awesome. The only complaint is the area surrounding the park is a little sketchy, but that is not the fault or control of the Durango RV Resort. Enjoy your stay, and keep it rocking! 🤘😼🤘

Excellent RV destination with many amenities. Park is extremely clean as were bathrooms.Beautiful fountains and fire pits were lighted at night which made a very relaxing end to a long driving day.We had initially put a lock fee on our site even though we were just doing an overnight to make sure we had a space. They moved us but refunded our money before we brought it to their attention. The office staff is wonderful to work with. There are no bad spaces in this park as there are generous space for the sites, and really no need to spend money on a lock fee, unless you absolutely want the particular space.We will be back!

We are impressed by the well maintained campground and the well cut grass. The kids have a great time exploring, biking and enjoying the pool. Yes, the prices have increased but the beauty of everything around and the huge individual campsites are far superior to most other campgrounds. Thanks.

We stayed 4 nights, facilities were pretty nice. We had a river spot away from the highway but we could still hear traffic at night. Saturday night seemed to be the loudest with trains honking all night, not unbearable. We slept with a fan on to help with noise. Laundry room and showers at the north end were very nice. Pool is large and was refreshing in the 100 degree weather. Jacuzzi was not working properly during our visit. Husband got a massage while he was there, so although its an extra fee, it was a nice amenity to have. Sharis cafe was within walking distance and had good breakfast. There is also a grocery store within walking distance. All the staff were very friendly and check in was a breeze.

Beautiful RV park with all concrete sites. Some back ins are on river and some beside beautiful water fountains. This was our first time staying here and found it very clean and upscale for the price. The pool has senior time from 8 to 10 am and that was really cool. Huge pool, cabanas etc.

This was a great campground! Beautiful area. Backs up to a beautiful river. My kiddo loved the pool and scootering around the big fountains. It is close to the highway so the noise from the road is audible all day and night so be aware of that if you have little ones who struggle to sleep.

Amazing, beautiful resort. Had my full family, 3 units all together. My wife and kids in 1, dad in his rv and sister and brother in law in another. Extremely nice, kind and knowledgeable staff. Riverfront sites are a must. Gorgeous view of the Sacramento River. Resort is fully loaded with activities and good size pool and spa. Resort is very well maintained and clean, very clean. Will definitely be back.

Its clean and easily accessed off the I5 freeway. That being said it is VERY expensive relative to other RV parks in the order of double the price. The staff are not overly friendly bordering on rude. I requested a certain site if it was available and they didnt even bother to acknowledge my request and when I asked they said we are very busy.There is a significant amount of freeway noise if noise bothers you.Weve stayed there three times in the last year and we wont be booking here again. Seriously cancelling my KOA membership.

Resort is beautiful and the massage was amazing. Everything was very clean and well kept up. Only 2 issues- the whole weekend there was several dogs not on leash, I did mention this to the office but it continued all weekend. We were also in a back in site but the people next to us were in an RV not a trailor so they pulled in which meant we were stuck sharing our site with another family all weekend.

We purposefully selected this site for the river view site and reserved one several weeks prior to the trip. We were called on the way to the campground and informed they have overbooked the river view sites. Once I expressed my extreme disappointment we were offered a $35 discount for an alternate site. The manager was very apologetic but the check-in agent was less than helpful. The discount did not make up for the difference in sites. All other sites are basically camping in a parking lot. The pool was quite nice. They also had fire pits going that we could have enjoyed had we been informed of them at check-in. I discovered them on my own too late. Convenient location if you need a place to stop in transit.

Durango was a beautiful RV Park. Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well organized. Only issue we had was our RV got infested with ants. They went up the water line and got inside the coach. Thousands of them. It took us 3 days to eradicate them. Other than that it was great.

Beware of Thefts from RV. I stayed at campsite one night. A thief broke lock on bike rack while I slept and stole ebike. On talking to staff member they told me thefts from campground were major problem. Homeless abound in area and while entire area fenced in, once they stole bike they only had to go to main exit gate and it allows them to leave without any card or code. It is a lovely RV spot. But beware of theft.

Very clean RV park (somewhat of a sanctuary inside of a older residential/industrial area). Nice amenities with clubhouse/pool/spa/fire pits. Spacing is generous and landscaping is well maintained with lush green grass. Fountains help knock down sound of highway surprisingly well. We only stopped for one night, but I think will come back again to do some more exploring Red Bluff.

By far the best RV park we have been to so far. The area is not the greatest as there are a lot of homeless but the park does a great job making the park as safe as possible. I loved they had a gate that closed at night time and they had security around at all times. All the workers were so nice and friendly, this RV park is more like a community. We meet some pretty great people while staying there for 6 months. Definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice and clean. Stayed at numerous RV parks throughout the states and this is one of the better ones and for the price that could not be beat. Staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. Restrooms, showers and clothes washers are super clean. I also noticed that security was constantly driving around for that added peace of mind. Another thing that was nice is that the local restaurant will deliver, who wants to cook or go out after a long drive? We had Italian yummy. Enjoy.

Huge sites and very clean. We only stayed for an overnight, so we didnt avail ourselves of the pool or any other facilities. You can hear the highway, but its not an area where trucks are usually braking, so its just a wooshing noise and didnt bother us. We were excited to see access to the trail along the river, but too tired after a long day to take a walk.

We stayed at the KOA in Red Bluff for two nights during the rodeo and could not believe how expensive it was. We were part of a big group and if it weren’t for a prior reservation we would have been charged twice as much due to a huge increase in fees recently. Since the park was not full and we wanted to depart a little later on a Sunday afternoon we asked if we could park a bit longer on and were told we would have to pay a half day fee to do so. As for the park itself, it has all amenities and the spaces are roomy but the grounds are not manicured very well. Security is not good at all and we had an electric bike stolen from in front of our trailer overnight. We were advised by staff that there is a homeless encampment nearby, multiple thefts have taken place recently (including a generator that was locked/cabled) and there is no night security. So long as the current prices/ reservation protocols and lack of safety remain in place, we will not return and will encourage all of our friends to stay elsewhere too.

Located near I-5 in Red Bluff, close to the river, this RV park has excellent facilities, including showers, bathrooms, and a clubhouse. Daily garbage pickup is included in the space rent. The fairways are adequate for big rigs, and the hookups are in good condition. Cable TV is included and is excellent. The animal facilities are amazing as well. The dog wash station is covered and proper equipment. The landscaping is fantastic too. I can’t say enough. It was even quiet and peaceful which is tough in a big park.

We wanted a quick weekend in our trailers to get the kids out of the house and this worked great. The buddy sites were great for us so we could face each other in our RVs. Grass for the kids to play, concrete for bikes, everything worked well and responsive staff. Close to freeway so some noise from that to be expected but overall quieter than we expected. This was our second stay here and same great experience both times.

Our space by the fountains were very spacious and uncrowded. Even though its a little more expensive than the normal KOA it was definitely worth the extra money. Do not camp here unless you are fully contained with ac. Tent sights are an afterthought. Theyre in direct, unadulterated hot sun with absolutely no shade. Today is 100+ degrees. I have cats and another party here has dogs. It is completely uncaring to put van sleepers with pets in an unshaded spot. Children and adults are uncomfortable, too. I called the front desk, as its very far from the tent sites, to ask to be moved. The first call I was put on hold for 4 minutes before I hung up to re-dial. My next 2 call attempts went directly to vm. No response to my message. Horrible customer service. The front staff was very vague about the location and parking. I would figure it out when I saw it. Too bad as the park is lovely but only for the big guys.

Only stayed one night while passing through. Nice RV park, though close to a highway (a bit loud). Seemed to have a lot of amenities (outdoor games, etc.).Nice wide concrete spots. We were lucky to get a site in the shade on the river. Site 101 seemed pretty awesome (with shade and farthest from highway) - on the river.~$87.00 for a night.

Very clean and the pool was sparkling and fun for the kiddos. The only thing was their patio chairs were missing cushions (which they have had on previous stays), which made the chairs uncomfortable, and the umbrellas were missing as well so I wasnt able to get shade during the hotter part of the day. Location: The resort is located in Red Bluff which is 51 miles from the Lassen National Park entrance.Sites: All the sites are concrete and level with plenty of space between your neighbor. We stayed at a river site which has a great view of the Sacramento River behind a fence.Facilities: The resort is very clean and sites were level.Amenities: Camp store is well stocked and the pool and spa are great to beat the heat or relax.The cons: Unfortunately, are next to the I-5 and the sound of vehicles will not go unnoticed.Overall: We stayed 2 nights in July as a stop over to visit Lassen National Park. We enjoy our stay very much. The only thing I would change is picking a site away from the freeway noise.

We enjoyed our stay we were there a month very clean facilities very friendly staff except for one individual she was a bit of a pain. pool was awesome only thing was Bungalows are not first come first serve they want money to rent them hourly I think that they are saggy and dirty and should be for everyone not at the asking price theres no signs telling you that they are reserved.. they are updating security gates and cameras should make it safer..

Discovered this place by accident. Paved perfectly level. Accommodates any size rig. Super clean restrooms and good wifi. Staff is friendly. I stay here every time I travel through Red Bluff, CA.Update. We were there early last Dec. 2019 . Above review is accurate; however, there were a lot of unsupervised children running lose in the park(skate boards, bikes, scooters etc. They did not pay attention to traffic.

We stayed here in April 2023, had we read the reviews we would not have come, while everything looks great when you come in nice clean park, it’s backed up to a homeless encampment, we had 5000 dollars in electric bikes and possessions stolen, there is NO SECURITY AND AN OPEN GATE OUTBACK, don’t let the false sense of security fool you with the gated front by the office that requires a code, fool you, the thieves came in the middle of the night with bolt cutters. “ bikes were CABLE LOCKED TWICE TO OUR COACH, They knew exactly what they were doing, and the more people I talk to, This is not an isolated incident. I highly discourage staying here. When conversing with red Bluff PD, they were very clear. This is a common occurrence DUE TO NO SECURITY, after we filed the report .again don’t waste your money until somebody gets serious about some type of security here.after talking to the MANAGER when the office opened THE MANGER HERSELF SAID HER E BIKES WERE STOLEN, at what point do you take security seriously,,,,other reviews by women claim it’s not safe to even walk around the park SCARY PLACE, can you say “inside job”

The resort is awesome! We have gone here for over five years. The club coordinator was awesome and helpful. We were told we had the large club house and were bumped out to a smaller club house even though we were the largest group there this weekend. Apparently the office manager did this without consulting the club coordinator. We were over capacity for that room. We are very disappointed with the way this was handled.

First impressions are always good and this park succeeds in that. We usually avoid KOAs due to quality and price but this was the best park in the area. The price is still KOA high. Check-in was quick and easy, and someone takes you to your site. The interior roads are paved and the sites are pretty level concrete. (We did see a few RVs with blocks or tires in the air.) There is decent spacing but no privacy. Lots of trees and nice landscaping with fountains. It is on the Sacramento River but I never found a way to get down to it. Crystal clear pool with attractive decking and comfortable seating. They even have areas you can reserve with privacy curtains. A huge gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. There is a cool indoor area with leather furniture, a TV and a fireplace. The workout room is small and has the typical equipment. Peaked in at the bathrooms which appeared very clean. Now for the not so good. Obviously, it is right off I-5 so expect all the noise that goes with that. We were in the back so it may have been a bit quieter. There area also many trains and sirens. For some reason, Verizon coverage was in the twilight zone. Sometimes we had 4g 2/3 bars, and then we would have zero coverage. It even went out for hours one day. We didn’t have much luck with the WII FI either. Even though it was pricey, we would stay again when passing through for a night.

Stayed 10 days and loved it. Lovely weather, very friendly staff; super clean park. Easy access for biking to parks shops and restaurants. If highway noise bothers you Id pick the spots on the south end of the park or get one near the fountain. But it is very well kept and managed. Will be back for sure!

Very nice gated RV resort. Paved streets, concrete pads, and grass between the sites. Some sites are right on the Sacramento River, and some are backed up (or face in) to fountains. Beautiful facilities, including large pool and a hot tub. The staff is very nice, and the manager, Crystal, really went out of her way to accommodate our requests - we were very appreciative. The only negative is its near the freeway, if you are on the side of the park by the freeway. We started in River View site 72, and it was noisy; but Crystal then moved us to River View site 98, and we didnt even notice the freeway from that site. So if you care about freeway noise, pick a site away from the freeway.

Stayed for 2 nights in Feb 2021. Price was not too high and the spaces are large enough that I can park my trailer and truck end to end. They are wide enough to have a fair sized patch of grass between us and the next RV. The grounds are very well kept, showers and bathrooms also clean and well maintained. If I had a complaint it would only be with the online reservations, Once you reserve you space number they want another $21 dollars to guarantee that you get the site number you reserved. If you dont pay the extra fee they will only guarantee they will have a similar site available to the one you reserved online. Which is what happened to us .. I reserved an end of the row site and when I got there the site was taken and they had moved my reservation to the site next to it ... still a very nice site but not the one I reserved. In all, the place is so nice (not a bad site in the place) I will stay there again and take my chances on being in the site I reserve without paying the extra fee.

Website says you can fish from the resort, truth is, leave the resort, go under the bridge to the homeless encampment and fish from there. Also booked massages online, called the day before to confirm, they were supposed to call us, we were told, yea, that online thing doesnt work. They also say they are pet friendly, but you cant bring your dog into any building or by the pool, and you cant wash your pets bedding at their laundry facilities. The only reason it gets three stars, is full hookup worked flawlessly, no dirt, either paved or well maintained grass and the folks that worked their were friendly. If this was strictly a review of what is advertised vs reality, would have been 2 stars at best.

I have stayed at the Durango Resort (now KOA) for the last 9 years. I always thought it to be one of the nicest parks on the I-5 corridor, and as a snowbird, stayed there twice a year going south and again north. I was interested to see what improvements KOA would make now that they purchased this park.Quite frankly, I was disappointed. It is now more expensive as most things are after Covid. They no longer show you to your site and so you need to find your own. Problem is, the site numbers are so small and painted brown on the concrete, I missed my site and drove around twice to finally find it. Before, as Durango, they would pick up bagged garbage in the morning….no more now ..be prepared for a long walk to the dumpster.The most irritating issue was noisy kids playing around in empty sites next us….. hockey and ball…speeding bicycles flying through…like is there no place to play?For the money, this is not worth it for me. I look forward to a nice restful place after my day’s drive and I will probably stay in another park from now on.. I know KOA is geared for families and so be it. Just disappointed that it wasn’t as nice as before.

We enjoyed our time there until we found out that the river sites (which are more expensive) are really close to a homeless camp that apparently can get on the RV resort during night. Someone stole our cooler and a box with random stuff for our RV that were left next to our trailer door while we were sleeping. After that we didnt feel safe to let anything outside. I think staff from the RV resort should warn clients about the problem since it seems is not the first time. My recommendation is if you are staying chose one of the sites near the water fountains . Plus they dont offer discounts on river sites.

The lawn has lots of brown spots and in some RV areas the lawn is completely brown. There are weeds growing up around trees and dead plants around the fountain. Stayed here on our way to Oregon. Its half way point if you you want to lay over. They have pull through and back in sites. Also have sites close to the Sacramento river. They escorted us to our site in a golf cart. They have nice clean shower and a large heated swimming pool. They have curb side garbage pick-up at 10am. There is a great place to eat just outside the park called Sherries. I highly recommend both. There is also rolling hills Indian casino about 15 miles north if your up for some gaming.

We called this place and booked it for 2 nights. This is an amazing rv park. Upon checkin, they escort you to your site. Our escort whipped out a rag and wiped down the hookup tower and outside light and had extra information for us at the site. Its always clean and the staff is great.But this time we had our Motorhome washed by a company that came the park, that was a mistake! I figured that the park management had approved the company to wash motorhomes properly.. they had to re wash the coach2 times finally I gave up and just paid them. Later that day I walked outside and my million dollar king aire had paint swirls all over the coach! It could cost up to 10k$ to have them removed. Owning a business, I approved all of my vendors. We recently stayed here for a week between Christmas and New Year. Overall the place is clean but outside the gates it is a little sketchy. Also, the freeway noise is pretty loud no matter how much you try to ignore it. If staying a couple nights or passing through town, not a big deal. But for longer stays, and if you are looking to relax just be aware of the noise. I took away a star too because it was not clear about not allowing wood burning fires until the check in process. Their website doesn’t seem to mention nor on the reservation. But turns out the city does not allow wood-burning fires and given we were there a week, we were disappointed we were not able to have a normal campfire. If we knew this in advance we likely would have found another area to spend the week.

We were heading back north from Newport Beach and decided to stop in Red Buff.... Durango had some great reviews and usually we are cautions with reviews because they seem to be hit or miss but I will say this was one of the best RV resorts. The sites were large and clean. The facilities are very modern, stone paths and has a four start hotel feel. The pool are was beautiful and big with nice showers and hot tub not to mention the gas fireplace outside. I love the fact that the facility is secured with a gate and code. A little difficult to find since couldnt see any street named Center. But if you cross pass the Valero Gas station you have gone to far, the street is actual before the gas station if you are coming from I5. This is truly a GEM resort.

Now that KOA has taken over they have less help, no security, less yard maintenance and bad wifi. During the 4th of July they had 64 empty spaces, the park has been half empty most of the time this summer. COVID the problem or high fuel prices the cause? We have been visiting Durango RV Park for more than a few times now, in fact we travel only 15 miles from our home to stay. That is how much we love this campground. Recently it became a KOA campground and raised their nightly rates about $20, but you get 10% off if you are a KOA member so it makes up the difference if you join. Nice level concrete pads, back in, fountain sites (my favorite), river sites and large pull through sites. The easy to use/accessible full hookups have 30 amp service, wifi, cable. There are NICE showers, restrooms and laundry facility on site. They have a little store on site, too. If they do not have what you are looking for you are in walking distance to a large grocery store. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tub, a conference room and a lovely outdoor firepit. You are literally only hours away from Lassen and Shasta. You can tell that this is a well loved place to stay because everyone that we have met while staying there are happy campers.

Just spend Memorial Day at Durango RV resort. Great experience for me and my family! The pool area was oustanding and enjoyed our large RV space. Positives: Excellent pool services (though for covid reasons I didnt partake), clean, free laundry services in an air conditioned, separate building in the park (just bring your own detergent) and a few resteraunts nearby if you know where to look and how to search multiple review sites. Even the moth population is fairly minimal so you dont choke on flying insects. Good spots to get groceries nearby and a movie theater in town for when you feel safe going out to do stuff masked after your vaccinations. within a fairly short distance to 5 gas stations, a gray hound stop, A Wal mart, a harbotlr freight, Ross, Marshalls etc.Average: Internet service mildly spotty and slow, but still mostly usable if you arent using high bandwidth programs or devices in most RV sites. We were a long way from the offices and still got 3 bars on wifi, so if you can get closer than that as an open spot you may actually get really good wifi service. (For RV parks or hotels in urban areas this isnt bad, but your milage may vary)Bad: Honestly nothing too severe. The only major issue we had was how short the vacancies were.

We stayed for three nights at the resort over the Valentine’s Day weekend and we’re very disappointed that we, as well as our friends, had to make last minute arrangements for our dogs since we were told there was a “strict dog breed policy” that was enforced. Not only were there dogs being allowed to run into our campsites NOT ON LEASH, but there were several “prohibited” breeds being walked throughout the park. The two dogs in our group were on leash at all times and were kept from barking at others in the park. As responsible dog owners, we are very disappointed in what we observed over the weekend. A dog is going to be as good as their owner. The way I saw it several of your park rules are not enforced so why even have them.

Reservations on phone & Check in was very easy..Was escorted to our pull thru site.-Drive way & sites are paved and large-no issue for big rigs with tow-very nice picnic tables at each site-There is on site bath house & laundry facilities- we didnt use, cant comment.-There is pool and Spa were not in service - cant comment.-The workout room needs major improvement - there is only 1 treadmill & 1 cycle.-Wifi internet is strong, rare for an RV park/Resort.-We were on site 59, too much road noise.*Front staff are very friendly and efficient. They call me to inform when we have packages.Stayed here in a 45 ft motorhome with a camper van tow. Stayed here for 3 months.

Like most travelers on I-5 we were looking for a stop over in Redbluff and found this wonderful RV park. After traveling 2,700 miles across 4 states this park stood out as one of our favorites. They have alot of pull thru sites and some that can even open towards each other if youre traveling with friends/family. Their staff is friendly and they even guide you to your site when you arrive. The concrete pads are extra long and level with a nice picnic bench and plenty of grass for your furry family members. Theres a nice pool, basketball court, bocce ball area and small putting green. The laundry and bathrooms are clean and updated plus theres a fire pit area as well. I forgot to mention that this park is also gated! The gates close at 7:00 for added security. The Sacramento river flows right by this park and you can get a sight right next to the river if youre lucky. Id highly recommend this RV park if youre in the area or just traveling through. It was one of the best we stayed in.

This park is one of the best i have stayed at, the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic, they have a basketball court, and several other game fields. The club house and laundry facilities are great, with free coffee, the staff is always helpful and friendly, and the park is secure..

Great location for our purposes, in a Class A with no car - the stores just across the street were very convenient. The full hook-ups were great - clean and easy to use. Our site was a nice level long pull-through. From what I saw, the bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. Someone seemed to Always be cleaning the common areas or mowing. The big lounge room was blessedly cool on the 100° days that we were there, and has comfy chairs, couches and tables. Free morning coffee there, if youre interested. Very reasonably priced Haagen Dasz ice cream products for sale in the Reg office. 👏 Having 2 outdoor gas firepits is a nice gesture, but I was quite disappointed to find NO firepits at the sites and fires only allowed with charcoal or profane in your own container. That is just NOT a camping fire. In early June, the air was full of cottonwood stuff flying around - certainly not the Resorts fault - but we both had allergy symptoms and felt better after leaving. The webby stuff flying around also makes a mess. I enjoyed the western skyline over the river for sunsets and Venus. I always appreciate a hot tub after a day of hiking, and the pool was nice with shade structures and lounges.

Nice camping resort. We have been using the resort for years now and have seen a trend downward in appearance. The last few times we were there the sites were not well maintained. Grass needed mowing and a lot of dry spots.

Great RV Park! The sites were paved, well maintained and clean facilities. We had a spot that backed up to a fountain and it was beautiful to sit out and listen to the fountain. Garbage was picked up daily, wifi was decent speed and the staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our time at this campground. This is a VERY clean park. Park is close to restaurants and grocery shops. Easy access to freeway, but being close to the freeway also creates some noise throughout the park. Premium spots include a river view, but also a view of the freeway. We found this place to be very buggy so bring your insect repellent. Park also included small pet yards and a pet wash. WiFi was good, getting satellite was easy and our Verizon phone reception was strong. Rec hall, pool, spa and laundry facilities were very clean and impressive. Gas stone fire pits and seating areas are located outside both recreation halls. We found this park to be pricey.Our family is currently traveling this beautiful country via RV style, and have been RVing for many years. Therefore, we have an idea between high-standard qualities and poor quality. We utilize Trip Advisor and Google to assist us on locating top attractions, tasty restaurants and exciting locations within our wonderful country. This is by far the nicest, clean and helpful park I have stayed at. The staff at the park deserve more than 5 stars. Each space is oversized, making it easy to park my three vehicles and 41’ RV within the space. The park is one I make a point to stay at when in the area.

Strict rules keep place immaculate. Adjacent to the 5 fwy so ask for site in back if you dont want traffic noise. Grocery and restaurants in walking distance.

I made a reservation to stay at Durango for an upcoming wedding reception. The wedding reception was subsequently cancelled due to COVID. The date of the reservation was still 12 days away and I asked to cancel my reservation. I was inform there would be a 25% cancellation fee. This I believe is outrageous! I have cancelled hotel and resort reservations in the past and all have been fully refundable up to 24 hours before the stay. Needless to say Durango will no longer be my RV destination.

They should MAKE KOA separate the reviews from when it was Durango from when KOA took over. Durango was wonderful. KOA IS a nightmare. Stay here if you want rude service and a parade of homeless tweakers helping themselves to your bikes and anything you didnt lock up! The review below was from when Durango owned it.This place is well above average! The massage therapist here, Misti, is literally the best massage therapist I have ever seen. She is worth the visit alone. The wife and argue over who gets her first. Clean, well appointed park.

If youre traveling I-5 and need a break from the road this is a great place to stop. The office folks are friendly and everything is very well-maintained. We usually spend a week or two here to break up longer trips and always have a good experience. Red Bluff has some great food in town, too.

We only did an overnight, but the spots were wide, flat and it was pretty quiet. But... Overnight there were trains that woke us up at least 3-4 times. The freeway noise was minimal, but the trains were rough.

The park is indeed beautiful and we enjoyed staying there in spite of the freeway noise. We had booked 5 days online and after 2 we decided that we wanted to move more into the mountains. My husband went to the office to checkout fully expecting to get charged an extra day. He was told because we booked online that they could not give us a refund. The Home Office as he called it might give a refund if it was an emergency like a death or something but they rarely give them. His advise to us was to call them directly to make reservations then we would have only been charged for the days we stay. Seemed a little odd to us since online it says that if you a no show you are charged a days rate. Im not really sure why there would be no communication between the Resort and the Home Office. We were given a gift certificate with an extra day included to make up for it. This is nice but not really handy if you are just travelling and not making the Resort a regular destination spot. It also expires in one year so I guess we have a year to use our money. I also want to add that the resort was less than half full. We are not unreasonable if it was peak season and people were being turned away I think no refunds might be called for. So bottom line the resort discourages booking online if you think your plans will change. Giving them the extra day rate it is a $116 lesson learned. Except for this mishap this really is a nice place!

Durango RV Resort is a private resort just off Interstate 5 in beautiful Red Bluff, CA. with the Sacramento River running along its north side. Durango offers 174 full hook-up sites, 21 sites that back up to various points to their 3 fountains, 11 sites that back up to a beautiful view of the Sacramento river, 12 “buddy sites” that face each other for a common area between them, 12 double length long sites for putting two RV’s in lengthwise, and the remaining sites all being standard pull-thru. I must also mention the 3 hostesses, Crystina, Crystal, and Julie, are wonderful and cheery and gave a first impression of the resort of one of class and refinement.What frills and thrills does Durango offer??? Valet service by way of all paved roads will take you to your fully concreted level site and make sure you know about the hook ups before they leave you on your own and each morning they will come to your site to pick up your trash left by the curb. Each site can accommodate the smallest of RV’s to the largest; pull-thru sites are 35 feet wide by 85 feet long and back-ins are 35 feet wide by 75 feet long; our rig setup is a 2014 RAM 3500 Crew Cab and 2016 Solitude 375RE totaling 60 feet in length hooked together and there was still plenty of room to spare. Each site offers 30 amp and or 50 amp service, cable, water, sewer, and a very well maintained grassy area, and a picnic table. Sorry, but there are no fire pits or grills in each site though and tents are not allowed. They also ask that you stake nothing in the ground so you do not damage their landscape watering system. The resort is quite large and it is recommended that if you have difficulties walking you may want to bring a bicycle or other mode for transportation around the resort. They also, depending on the site of year and reason, offer low cost breakfasts and live music.They also offer LP gas, small store for the very basics, restrooms, showers, laundry (5 washers and 5 dryers), WiFi, bike trails, hiking trails, day-use picnic areas, visitor center/lodge room with leather couches, a stone fireplace, and a big-screen television, rentable lodge rooms for groups and parties, fishing on the river, small exercise room, basketball & tennis court, tetherball, bocce ball court, putting green, two small off-leash dog areas and also a doggy spa area, swimming pool and spa, and nature & wildlife viewing. AND in case you had an exceptionally rough day you can get a massage in their onsite massage parlor.Rates: (with discounts for AAA, Military, and Good Sam)$49 – Pull-Thru Site$53 – Fountain Site$60 – River View SiteThere are some things to do that are fun but a few listed here are a bit away: Coleman National Fish Hatchery, Turtle Bay, Red Bluff Art Gallery, State Theatre, Oak Greek Golf Course, Rolling Hills Casino, Lariat Bowl, as well as many restaurants and some wineries.On my “Worth-A-Stay” scale from 1 to 10, 1 - being OH MY GOD worthy of passing up and never looking back, to 10 - being OH MY GOD worthy of a must visit again, I would rate this resort as a 9 for 2 reasons. 1 – There is a train that goes nearby occasionally and apparently LOVES to hear its own horn and 2 – Freeway traffic can be hear most all day. But after some time you start to drowned it out. We have stayed here alot over the past years and this was the worst visit. We got informed that there has been a few thefts from the local homeless along the rivers. So you cant leave ANYTHING outside. So you take it all out and put it all away every night. One campers 400 yeti cooler was stolen the prior night. The grounds are not as pretty as they once were. Grass isnt mowed and where there once were nice bushes and flowers are now replaced with just dirt and exposed drip system. Sprinklers come on at 930 at night and 11 ish in the morning and flooded everything. To top it off a transformer blew on Friday night. We were told it was running single phase through the whole park all day Saturday and with the temp being 108 and everyone using their AC all the power in the park blew. No AC or power until the next morning. ZERO communication from the staff. Someone should have went campsite to campsite to inform all of their customers. Just a huge disappointment and not sure I will be back after theft, flooded campsites and no communication.

We have stayed a few KOAs now. They keep getting better and better. We are from the SF bay area and drove our 3 hours to stay at the camp ground. The grounds are clean. The bathrooms are clean. The staff are helpfull and polite. If you get a chance, meet Biggs one of the grounds keeper. He is one of many who work hard to keep the grounds clean and is very helpfull and friendly. If you have any doubt about stopping and staying at this KOA you can put your doubts aside and enjoy your stay. We did. Thank you to everyone for a greate weekend and we will be back.

I have been RVing for over a decade and this place has spoiled me for normal RV parks. For a couple of extra bucks you can live like a millionaire.Lots of RV parks get some of it right, but this one has it all. Red Bluff is an overnight stop on the way south, but I was so impressed that I stayed an extra night, mostly to study their operation. True excellence is exceedingly rare and when I find it, I take time to celebrate it and absorb into my life.

We went to flee tha smoke in Vacaville from the fires. The staff is courteous and following all Covid guidelines. My only complaint is the shower. I am short and the water hits me right in the face. Otherwise it is a beautiful place to visit.
