Annie at RPM is amazing!!! What a gem this company has in this employee.. She has gone up and beyond to help my family get our son into his first apartment before heading off to college. As you parents know it’s a scary time to hand your child off to independence and of course you want them to be safe and in good hands. We have just rented a beautiful home through them. Everyone was great to work with and very friendly. The first home fell through and they still helped us. When I went to pick up the keys, they surprised me with this cool promotion they were doing for all new tenants. I got to spin the wheel with great prizes. My lucky pick was yummy is all Im going to say. So if your looking for a home to rent, I highly recommend Amy and the team all the way. Thank you again!

I was referred to RPM by a friend who was raving about their great experience with them and after working with RPM (and now becoming a renter from them), I can say that everything I’ve heard about them is true! Between phone calls to the leasing office, to communications with property managers ALL of my communications with RPM have been nothing short of excellent. Every person that I have talked to and worked with has been kind, professional, and extremely helpful. My most recent experience was with Carissa who manages a particular property that I’ll be renting from starting next month. Carissa has been patient, helpful and professional. Jesse is the best! He always took care of things promptly and with excellence. I love renting from Jesse and even told him if we ever move back, I wanted to rent from him again. The rentals are always clean and stylish so it works with current decor. That is a huge plus. No hacks to try to spruce it up. I’ve been renting through RPM since 2021. I moved after High School and Rosa & Annie worked with me for being a first time renter. They were both quick & efficient with the whole process. I now am renting at a second property of theirs and have been there for 2 years now at Sunset Terrace Apts which is a great property. Lu the community Manager takes very great care of the property. We recently moved and decided to use Real Property Management and it was one of the best decisions ever! Carissa was immediately in contact with us about getting our application reviewed and approved. Only took a few days which was a nice change from the rental company we came from. The communication is outstanding and greatly appreciated. The day after we moved in we couldnt figure out the heater and the issue was immediately dealt with within an hour and we havent had any issues since. The place is beautiful and Carissa is amazing!!

It is very daunting to start paying fees for your application to new homes. Some places won’t take you because of your credit score or collections in your account. Real property management helped me. And the apartment that I wanted, I was going to get with the help of Carissa at Shasta View Apartments. She was amazing! She dedicated her time was always courteous, polite and interested in helping me find a place to live. My wife and I have been renting from Jessie for over a year now and from the day we met him we knew he was going to be a different landlord then what you may expect. Firstly he’s always responsive when you reach out to him, as well as quick to reply( some landlords I’ve been under can take a week or longer). Secondly he’s seems to take pride in his properties( my home and my neighbors he rents out) he checks in often and even helps with lawn care as needed which is unheard of in my experience. Lastly any issues we’ve had around the house such as the stove going down or even ideas for something we’ve wanted to do (such as putting up shelves in the laundry room) he was quick to help or offer help. You couldn’t ask for a better landlord in my honest opinion so if you’re wondering if this rental company is for you trust me Jessie Eberle is the landlord you want.

My mother and I have lived in apartments managed by RPM since the moment we moved to Redding and are pleased to have new onsite managers, Carissa and Dylon, who have been a breath of fresh air over the past couple months making improvements to our specific complex, but I know that Carissa also works hard at the main office for other complexes in town. I recently moved into the Shasta View appartments through Real Property. The experience was fast, efficient and Carissa was helpful from start to finish. I had a rough start when applying, not knowing if I would even have a chance, but with her help, everything fell into place! She let me view 3 available appartments, informing me of whatever maintenance, cleanings, or repairs to be made if needed, before I move in. The walk through was very thorough and she humored me while I did my checklist of everything I loved about the unit! I have only had one other experience living in an appartment complex and it was a horrific, from the slumlord that ran it, to the tenants he refused to remove no natter the damage to property or amount of law enforcement called. Carissa was very comforting and walked me around the property, we talked about our families and her plan for the complex, such as repairs, maintenance to the grounds and how Real Property can improve things and make it feel like home. Anything that has come up after I moved in and needed maintenance or assistance, Carissa has been fast to respond and reach out to me even if its late at night. It shows how much care is being put into this place and everyone in it. My neighbors are all friendly, the complex is quiet, and I have an amazing view of Mount Shasta! I have never had a place of my own, but once I got the keys, it felt like home.

I have been with Real for over 3 years now. They are the best rental company in Shasta county hands down, and here’s why. They have fair prices, they look at your credit with understanding and don’t require some crazy credit score to rent, they maintain their properties well, they keep good communication with tenants and owners, and the maintenance team is on it! Real property took a chance on me when I kept getting denial after denial, I had decent credit but one rental mistake I made when I was 18 years old still plagues my credit report. I wrote RPM a letter and they accepted me. I have a beautiful place that is so much of a steal I don’t want to say the price. I will be with RPM until my family purchases our home. I am living in apartments, half of the things they said were a lie, there isn’t a on-site laundry room and no one told me they place was infested with roaches. They don’t ever email you back no how many times you do it. They left me in horrible living conditions from the start, telling me my A/C wasn’t broken nor will they put a screen on my window.

They bullied us and badly mistreated us and charged us for a lot of things we didn’t do. Took advantage of us and traumatized us for life. They charge for every little thing, even for a burned out light bulb. For every action there is an opposite reaction, like sawing and reaping.

I would recommend rpm to anyone. Hands down a great experience. I moved from Citrus Heights to back to Anderson and I had such an easy transition. Lu worked with me via phone, text and emails to get me all established. The complex here at gateway apartments is quiet and clean. I am now going into my second year at the complex and I don’t plan to leave until I end up moving out of state. I always have speedy maintenance services and responses from Lu on a problem or question. She also works with me in between my work schedule since I work from home. I also love the units here due to the large back yard which I never could find in other units. And for a 2 bedroom my place is fairly spacious for a fam of 5 :)

They are rude they are mean and they are money hungry that’s all therefore, we understand the laws they took 27 days to give us a disposition, saying that we owe money in the state of California they had 21 days to produce a disposition if they do not produce the disposition, they forfeit they forfeit all money that is owed as a matter of fact, the state of California says if they cannot produce the disposition letter within 21 days, they forfeit the right to keep anything and must give us our full refund back of deposit which we are in arguments with them. Now we are going to obtain a lawyer and we are going to do it the right way. As a matter fact I am going to try to sue them for everything they have. All they’re looking for is vulnerable people in need to scam them out of their application fee money. When you call them to ask questions regarding what your chances are on getting approved, explaining what your situation is, they refuse to give you any information and, in a way, make you believe and get hopes that you have a chance only so that you go for it, apply, and pay for the application fees. They do this because they know exactly what they’re trying to do (keep your money). After you apply and pay the fees per adult, they look for any little excuse to deny your application so that way they can keep the money you paid for the application, withdraw you from the agency and not even try to help you find another place through them. If you’re on a budget and you’re just trying to find a place, I do NOT recommend going through them. I have found the staff to be courteous, professional, and efficient. I was able to move into my studio apartment last July 17. I was evacuated for six days during the Carr fire and when I returned, my air conditoner was not working well at all (clogged due to smoke and ash). I rented from Real Property Management from ~January 2014-August 2015. I never had any of the issues with them I read in some of the other reviews. They were very open and helpful. Yes, there was a year lease, but I knew that going into things.. and truthfully, its pretty standard. They went above and beyond and reimbursed me for a hotel room for a few nights while repairs were made when our unit suffered some fire damage. They were also very reasonable in the move-out/cleaning costs: I received most of my 850 deposit back, less about 150 dollars. Overall, great people. I cant speak for anyone else, but I did not feel misled with this company at all.

I have been renting from RPM for over two years. The first property that I rented, when I moved out and into Sunset Terrace the onsite manager did a walk thru with me and said that everything looked great. I had already signed my lease at Sunset Terrace before everything was final with my other rental. A few weeks later I received a letter stating that I owed them money. RPM kept all of my deposit and was saying I owed $300 more. I looked over the statement and found several flaws in their charges. First, California law states that you can only charge carpet replacement minus the number of years the carpet has been there. It had already been there two years but RPM charged me 100% of the total value. I wrote them a letter stating the law that they can legally only charge me 80% of the value of the carpet. She zeroed out the $300 balance but kept all of my $900 deposit.I have now been living at Sunset Terrace for nearly two years. July 2017 will be two years. I have had several major leaks in my apartment. The biggest one being in the bathroom. I had a major leak on October 31, 2016. I promptly contacted the owner, Melinda, as well as the on-site manager. The leak was not properly fixed and lots of mold began to grow on the ceiling. I contacted them several times. Its now January 23, 2017 and my ceiling is still covered in mold. The leak has gotten bigger since it wasnt dealt with in the beginning. Finally, after months of expressing my concerns the maintenance man came today and cut out the sheet rock. However, the wood inside of the wall is soaked. Their plan is to redo the sheet rock tomorrow. But what about the wet wood inside!?!? Im not sure...The management has not addressed my concerns nor taken proper action to repair and take care of maintenance issues. Given the experience that I have had over the last two years, I would not recommend renting from this property management company.I really wish that I could say something different about this company. I hate leaving bad reviews and I really wanted to like them.

My experience at the Ivy Commons Anderson apartment complex was horrible. The onsite manager is very unprofessional as I continued to have ongoing issues of harrassment, unfinished maintenance repairs and unsafe parking lots. I do not recommendation these apartments at all. Things are left around the complex including trash, debree and maintence items weeks at a time. Cops have been called on domestic desputes, theft and breaking into the laindry mat. It IS a smoking complex (even though it is advertised as not). Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND, EVER! We have had A/C issues since about the beginning of summer and now, the heater is not working. RPM seems to have a high turnover in employees because we were asked just a few days ago if the A/C got replaced. They must not keep good records. In general, RPM is okay but they keep sending their own maintenance people out to band-aid problems dealing with the A/C-Heat unit. The fuse box has partially melted (indicating possible electrical problems) and a maintenance person hammered the wrong size fuse for the A/C and eventually A/C quit working again and finally the right size fuse is in but still the A/C and heat issues. One word for Real Property Management: Slumlords. Do not rent from this company. I put down a 700 dollar deposit and when we moved out they requested almost 500.00 more. They charged us for a closet door being off the tracks, an easy fix, they charged us for things previously not in the apartment such as batteries in a smoke detector, a towel rack, for slow drains, they repainted the WHOLE apartment even though damages were very minimal. If you are in a tight spot and have know choice but to rent with them i warn you, take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in, and when you move out. write down everything you can on your walk through, (they tried to charge us for things we even put down on it) and when you move out, if someone breaks into the house or apartment you will be held accountable for any damage the intruders did such as locks being broken and screens being taken off. IF YOU MUST RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, BE CAREFUL!!

I rented from rpm for 2 yrs at 2 different properties never was even one day late on rent nor did I trash anything and I was always treated like a nuisance, they dont respect privacy often dont send out 24hr notices on time and always threaten to just let themselves in. The office is a joke if you get confirmation from one person the next day another person will call and say they dont see anything about it. And dont expect any deposit back they go through with white gloves checking everything dont respect normal wear and tear at all.oh and our fence was so wrotted out the neighbors dog got through (multiple times) and charged our door and nearly bit my roommate we were told to just call the cops. So glad Ive bought my own place would not recommend this company to renters :/

I went through this company to rent an apartment at Ridgecrest Trail in Redding. This apartment is for you if you want to be paying an average of $300 just towards your energy bill. This is no joke. I was gone for an entire month and unplugged everything but the refrigerator and stove, and my energy bill was over $150.I had the electric company come out to see what was jacking up the price, they basically said the reason that my appliances and the heating and cooling needed to be replaced and that the apartment is not energy efficient.This apartment is for you if you dont like having company, because there is no public parking.Last thing that I will add, if you make any agreement over the phone or in person with this company that is being added to your lease make sure to bring a notery. They agreed to let me do a 9 month lease instead of a full year. But in the 9th month they insisted that I agreed to do a full years lease and that they would never allow someone a 9 month lease. After two days of fighting it with this company, they came upon a sticky note in their files saying that I did in fact have a this agreement with them. Sticky notes are not very professiona, but Ill take it! Still had to pay for 10 months, however that worked out.So glad to finally be done!

Wouldnt make arrangements for me to even see the apartment I apped for other than 9am to 3pm mon thru friday. I had to make a fuss just to get a key to see inside. Inside was a disaster, they said they wouldnt repaint even though 50% of the walls haddamageand needed repair. If you want somthing nice, or have a prperty you want maintained as a rental, stay far away. Absolutely rude service on top. I dont normally post, but people need to know.

Real Property Management is a greedy company. They charge a late fee on the 4th day from the due date even if the payment is postmark prior to the 3rd day. The fee is $65.00 dollars on a $995.00 rental. Thats a 6/7 % late fee. Wow, when I had a mortgage of over 200,000 my late fee was $45.00 after the 10th day from the due date. Real Property Management is just managing the property and is sitting on many, many security deposits plus pet fees for that matter, this outfit is greedy to the core, Nothing Real about them! Maybe we should charge them interest on our deposits?

Even though they were presented with a statement from a doctor that the tenant required a companion animal the realtor refused to allow the tenant to have a companion animal. They further stated that if the tenant was unhappy that the tenant could take them to court. Companion animals are covered by the state and federal disability laws and this action on the part of the realtor is illegal!
