Mae was immensely helpful to me. I run a small business and was starting to get overwhelmed with my to-do lists and not feeling enthusiastic. With Maes help I have learned to delegate work that I dont want to do, work with clients that align with my offerings and improve my bottom line. I still work with her and am feeling inspired again. Just had my first meeting with Mae... I am so grateful I made the leap to work with Mae! Ive been a solopreneur for 3 years. I was feeling stuck--like I had plateaued from a business-standpoint. When I first starting working with Mae Chan, I had a long list of what I thought I should do to improve my business. It felt overwhelming. With Mae’s thoughtful questions and direction, I was able to rediscover how I WANT to feel running my business, instead of being ruled by the “shoulds” that I’d internalized from society, family, media, etc. With curiosity, insight and skill, she helped me to examine what wasn’t working, to let go of some things, and to create more ease and joy in my work,. Now, my to-do list is manageable, I feel more organized and centered, and my business continues to grow in revenue and in personal satisfaction. I had a wonderful, insightful session with Mae that helped me see the deeper roots of some of the business decisions I was (and wasnt) making. With a lens that is practical and culturally informed, Mae guided me to a place of empowerment and clarity. Our coaching session was part discussion, part exploration, and part finding viable ways to approach one of the difficulties Id been having as a solopreneur. As someone who started self-employment as a path to more freedom in my schedule and life, Ive ironically found the admin of running my business to be frustrating and burdensome.
