We went to RC Willey to check out a dishwasher. We have been long time customers and have made many purchases there. We were going to purchase this item somewhere else online because of the cost savings, but wanted to look at physical unit first before ordering. We ended up talking to an associate and explained that we were purchasing elsewhere with free delivery, installation and removal, and asked if they would they be able to match that to keep our purchase with RC Willey. They agreed, and we went through with the purchase. The dishwasher was delivered today and they said they do not install the dishwasher. I was told that I would need to schedule that with an outside company. If I needed to schedule installation with someone, that should have been set up when we made the purchase. They could not give me any information of who to contact and explained that I would need to contact the store to arrange for that. They left, I contacted the store and was told it would be 5 days out to schedule installation. I am extremely frustrated because now I have a giant dishwasher boxed up sitting in my kitchen for the next 5 days. I feel duped and asked to return the dishwasher. The soonest it could be picked up is now 6 days. Buying elsewhere.

I wish I could leave a higher score but I cant. We have purchased a few things from RC Willey in the past and had issues and this recent purchase just continues to add to them. First of all it took us 5 phone calls to make sure that they got the delivery address correct. Turns out that their system is horrible because its never updated. Within those five phone calls it continued texting us with the old address. We received a text saying that our delivery would be there in 10 minutes and 30 minutes later they still were not there. We called back again and we were told that the delivery guys were still within the window time, but yet it was about 30 minutes past the window time when they finally arrived. When the gentleman brought our sectional in, it was covered in dirty spots all over and our ottoman looked like it had been used and hanging out in the warehouse for a while. It was completely filthy and the workmanship was less than par. It is unfortunate because now that we are returning this ottoman the salesman will get a cut in his paycheck. We do like some of the furniture in their store but were thinking that this would might be the last time ever purchasing at RC Willey again.I sure hope corporate sees this review and does something about the way they are conducting business

Beware. I had a good store experience with my salesman, but not a good delivery experience. My washing machine had broken and had water still in the tub. I told my sales person and the delivery crew about the water being in the tub, and both assured me that was not a problem. The delivery crew said they would take the machine out to the street and empty it. However, when they tried to move it, the water all came out and flooded my laundry room. The delivery crew informed me they could not install the washer and got in their truck and left me with the mess to clean up. So far RC Willey has not made any attempts to rectify this situation and my inconvenience. My hope was they would at least waive the $99 delivery fee since the job was botched, I still have a washing machine sitting in my garage, not hooked up. Supposedly they will come and hook it up this week sometime. I had hoped they would give me some priority given the unfortunate botched delivery job. But none was given. They have a satisfaction guarantee, but I am not satisfied at this point.

I am a business owner and I always want to be uplifting and supportive of other businesses no matter how big. I never ever post things like this and I hate it but I cannot get past this.Purchased a large sofa in June 2022. December 2023, the parts crumbled for the recline keeping it partially open. Immediatly scheduled service. Tech came to repair 2 weeks later and advised they had to order parts possibly 30 days out. In late January we were contacted to order and parts and pay for them. February no parts received, advised mid March. Today we were advised late April or May possibly later. Customer service told us they will not do anything further and however long it takes to get the parts we have to wait. “Or” we can get the money back for the parts and buy a new sofa at full price. Needless to say we won’t purchase from them ever again. They offer zero additional solutions and honestly could not have cared less.

I just want to say we had a wonderful experience when we went to RC WILLEY. We had decided to purchase furniture for Christmas instead of getting gifts for each other this year. We needed a couple pieces to complete areas in our home. As we were looking around, we were approached by Amanda, a Sales Rep. She answered a couple of our questions and we asked her if she could look up our RC WILLEY account to see how much we had to spend. After she answered all of our questions she gave us her card and let us look around. We ended up looking through the whole showroom and we came across a really cool entertainment center, it wasnt on our list but it was perfect for our bonus room. We located Amanda and she ran the monthly payments for us. We needed to go home and measure, to see if it fit. Amanda said we could contact her and she could order the piece for us. I reached back out to Amanda a couple of days later, it was the day before Thanksgiving and she got back to me and emailed us an order confirmation to review and order when we were ready. We placed the order and a week later l reached back out to Amanda to add a rug and an end table. We were so happy to get a message right after Christmas saying our order had come in and they could deliver it that weekend it was delivered the day before NYE. We really love it and the delivery guys were really nice and careful. 😊 Its a gorgeous piece. We will definitely be back to buy a bigger TV this summer. Amanda is Awesome!

RC Willey in Rocklin is a beautiful store with a great selection of furniture. I came in to buy a bedroom set and had an excellent experience with Vic. I had mentioned what I was looking for with details and he was very accommodated to my budget and styles that I was interested in. He was very knowledgeable to every bedroom sets. Vic is an excellent sales associate. He is very phenomenal in his profession. He has great work ethics and excellent people skills. Vic is a type of person that is patient, honest and quite the find. If you are assisted by Vic then it’s well worth it because he’s phenomenal. Vic is an excellent asset to the RC Willey team. I had a wonderful experience!

We went into buy a counter depth refrigerator and after Jaime helping us we decided to buy 4 appliances with the bundle package he has been great the follow up on the back ordered dishwasher was beyond what I expected.We had in 2020 a bad experience with RCWilley but we are now customers again after this great experience.

We were extremely pleased with our sales man’s knowledge and especially his patience. We walked around the entire store at least twice, the store is huge, because we have many needs. In fact my wife and I tired out first. We purchased a dinning set and three bar stools but will return soon for an entertainment center and living room furniture. Our thanks to Ronnie.

RC Willey is a great store. The prices are competitive and the terms are very fair. Certainly as good or better as most of the other department stores. The sales personnel are both courteous and knowledgeable. I’ve always felt like I could browse without pressure. So I’m happy to buy most things there, but I could buy elsewhere. I’ve purchased a washer and dryer, and the dishwasher. I think I’m gonna replace my big screen TV next. This review is real, and I’m happy to make it.

Salesperson found EXACTLY what I was looking for and spent a fair amount of time helping me select a fabric for the new chair.It arrived in mint condition about when she estimated it would. We bought another item there at the same time and they gave us an unqualified discount. We paid for the item then found something we liked better online later when I got home. The same salesperson - Mrs. Williams, helped smooth out the return process.I like the cashier and scheduling for a delivery process very much - in store or on the phone very easy and pleasant to work with. -

Had another positive experience. My sales person (Otis) has always been professional, personable and knowledgeable.The customer service rep was also knowledgeable and professional. I spent a few dollars more than expected but totally satisfied with my decision. Its a 40 minute drive to the store but worth it.

I don’t like to fill out these reviews before all transactions have been completed. John Guzman has been amazing to date. We bought a sectional sofa. The day of delivery, one piece was missing. He called later the same day and was already aware of the missing piece. I thought we were suppose to call Customer Service with issues, so I called about the wedge piece that did not match up with the other pieces. Renee was very helpful and followed thru on everything she committed to. She arranged for a replacement piece. John was able to get the replacement piece and the missing piece delivered on the same day. That delivery is due on 3 days. Also yesterday, we asked John to add a piece that he was able to get scheduled for delivery with the other pieces. Now, I’m waiting for the delivery and final payment amount before I will give 5 stars for the company. John and Renee get 5 stars. But it takes a lot of people working together to make the whole experience with the company 5 stars. So 4 for now.

Amanda was an outstanding sales associate who helped us order our new bed frame and select the mattress that would best fit our needs. We were greeted the moment we came in but no high pressure salesman. We looked around for a few minutes then were asked by several employees if we needed help. Always in passing and always respectful of our ongoing conversation. John Guzman approached us just at the right time and helped us narrow down what we were looking for. We had a great experience at RC Willey in Rocklin. We were shopping around for recliners at various stores. Beau, the salesman that helped us was so knowledgeable and a perfect salesman not pushy at all and a true professional. The recliners were all over the store and he knew everything about them- the features and locations. Without his assistance we never could have figured out. He listened and didnt try to push the highest price recliner but the one that worked best for my husband. I will definitely go back and if you go ask for Beau hes the best!

I am a board member of Silver Wishes (A nonprofit) and because of RC Willey’s support of our organization We choose to support RC Willey for our home furnishing needs.We have bought two couches, a chair with an ottoman and two new beds during the last two years. Our buying experience was easy we knew what we wanted and salesperson friendly. He did mention new computer system wasn’t quick but it went smoothly until we had to go pay. After waiting in line a bit it actually took the associate 45 minutes to process a cash sale. She didn’t know how to work the computer and know one was there to help her. She wasn’t even trying to communicate to us or ask for help we finally asked. Nevertheless we left there so frustrated instead of happy for our purchase. I wasn’t going to complain but you asked. We bought carpet and had it installed by RC Willey in Roseville in July of 2023. Good carpet BAD INSTALL. They have been out 3 times to correct the mistakes and will be here again this week 4/11/24. One of the installers actually said to my wife Doesnt your husband know how to use a hammer referring to the tack strips that were stabbing our bare feet. If I wasnt at work I would have thrown him out the door! Its my understanding they no longer work there, Yeah!Ok... Its now 4/14/24, the crew came out and did a nice job stretching and tucking in the carpet. I wish they would have been the original installers. NICE JOB. We could not remove all the furniture (its gets harder when your old) so they only did the living room and hallway. The installer said RC Willeys should give us new carpetWhat do you think the odds of that are?

Don’t even deserve one star !This The store experience was good but the delivery guys were very abrasive and did not show any respect from my property or the chair they tried to deliver ! I took the chair back to there distribution center and was told the manager would return my call ! Crickets they don’t care about there customers or a safe work environment! The staff was excellent in helping us find the items we needed there was no pressure in buying expensive items or feeling that they were upselling us. They were patient and knowledgeable. Otis Griffin assisted with the refrigerator purchase. He was friendly and very helpful. Mark Brewster was our representative for furniture. He was wonderful and provided excellent customer service! Wr appreciated the time and care Otis and Mark have us. We ended up buying more than expected but left extremely pleased with the entire experience. Can I give zero stars?UPDATE: AND WE ARE STILL WAITING! RC Willey has now called a SECOND time to cancel the delivery of my replacement dryer. The one that got fried from the leaking hoses (see below). The one where they had to send out people TWICE to replace the hoses because the first crew accidentally put back on the same damaged hoses. 😣Original post:Our sales person, Jason, was very professional, thorough, and kind. BUT, while Jason was wonderful, there were/are STILL repeated issues with the delivery and appliances.First, The connections for the washer and dryer blew out twice. They said they would replace the units but not before RC Willey customer support argued with me twice on their responsibility. AND, the leaks caused significant damage to our floor boards and insulation under our newly remodeled home. When RC Willey came out the second time, they only had a washer but not the dryer and it was the dryer that no longer worked. The dryer had sparked when the water sprayed out from the leak and no longer turned on. Still waiting on a new dryer…..Second, they didn’t remove the plastic film off the interior lights on the oven when they installed or tell us there was plastic covering them and the plastic melted all over, damaging the lights. Their solution? I call the manufacturer to get the replacement parts and schedule the service because they don’t have parts! It was their mistake but the solution is I fix it.Third, the ice drawer in our brand new fridge was broken. Not sure if they did this during set up or it came from the factory broken. Their solution? See above! I make phone calls to another manufacturer to get the replacement parts and schedule the service because they don’t have parts.Yes, it is not lost on me that we are all blessed to have things like W/D, new stove, and fridge. But if you have a choice of where to purchase, where to spend your hard earned money, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RC WILLEY.(Sure do miss Sears. Over 25 years of appliance purchases from them and never a problem).What a mess!

The line to pay was almost out the door, probably because it was a holiday. After an hour in line, we went around the building and two strong guys put it in our truck.

Our experience with RC Willey’s appliance department was awesome. Prior to coming into the store. We had visited two other places without any luck due to the fact that their sales personnel did not know much about the product we were seeking. We walked into RC Willey‘s appliance department and were immediately greeted and helped. All our questions were answered thoroughly and knowledgeably. We ended up buying an upgrade model of the original we were looking for. We did this, not because we were pressured to do so, but because after the sales associate educated us on the difference between what we thought we wanted and what was available, it was the better of the two options to go with the better model. And because it was a Presidents’ Day sale, we saved $300 on our purchase because of the research the sales associate did looking to try to help us with pricing. RC Willys is always a good choice when you want Good customer service and knowledgeable sales associates. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

My overall experience was good. It is a gorgeous store and their displays are amazing and spark creativity. My only cons would be that the two times we went none of the employees came over to talk to us. No one asked if we were looking for anything in particular or needed help. When I had decided on a beautiful entertainment center I had to go on a hunt for an employee. The tag said it required a little bit of assembly and the employee said it would come with the tools but it actually didn’t come with tools. Not the biggest deal. Like I said overall a decent experience.

Went to RC Willey to find carpets in various sizes. Ralph Martinez approached us to offer assistance. He was very friendly and professional with no pressure. He was very knowledgeable in getting the details of a custom order and made purchasing our carpets very easy. He also made sure I got all the discounts that RC Willey offers to their customers! Excellent service from salesman, Kevin. Then the two delivery men were great. They realized right away the washer & dryer weren’t going to fit. We went back in the next morning. Got a refund then asked for Kevin. He had done his homework & found a set that he thinks will work. 99%. Coming on Thursday🤞 When we got home my husband looked at the refund receipt & said there was a discrepancy. $7.00. They refunded all but the $7 free laundry basket. We did buy another washer & dryer that same day. $100 more. Where’s our credit for the basket? It’s not the money, but not a good look for RC Willey.

On our recent order sales rep lied, moved our delivery date the day of and never bothered to inform us. Finding a Speed Queen in good condition was a treasure waiting to be found in the clearance section. Mike, the salesperson was attentive over the phone, emailed pix of the washing machine. Mike went over the warranty still available on the unit. However, when I came into the store to pick up unit and after mentioning what Mike told me over the phone regarding the warranty, the finance manager insisted I was wrong. Bought a sectional couch for a very specific space. The salesman assured me the size would fit within our designated area. We also special ordered an ottoman to match. The night before the couch came, I gave away my current sectional to prepare for the arrival of the new sectional. In the end I’m glad the couch is going back because it ended up being terrible quality and can tell it would have broken down quickly. Love my new $1,700 bed and the sales experience was great. That said, after charging me $89 for delivery, I was handed a wad of blue plastic mattress-sized bags and told I had to put my old queen size mattress and box springs in them before the delivery guys (who were wearing gloves) arrived with the new bed. I’m a fairly fit 72 yo woman but trying to manipulate these pieces into plastic bags and get them standing was nearly impossible and my back and hips hurt like crazy afterward. (Glad I didn’t have to pack up the Cal King Temperpedic in the other bedroom.) My hisband is 77 with a recently replaced knee and about to have back surgery and could not help. Is this bagging requirement really a reasonable request for two elderly people? I think not, but no pack up, no cart away of my old mattress. I should have just left and gone somewhere else.As if that wasn’t enough, I had to purchase an $89 mattress cover or else the mattress warranty was void. Really? But I did it. But then they did not give it to me at the time of purchase and it didn’t arrive with my mattress delivery. I suspect when they call they will tell me I can drive an hour to their store to pick it up. After several good experiences making purchases at RC Willey, I suspect this will be my last. At least this time I didn’t have to wait a month for delivery.

I have been trying to schedule a repair for a couch I bought here. The repair was scheduled and they called and said the tech could not make it out because he was sick. It took days to reschedule the 2nd apt due to some new system. They were finally able to get me rescheduled. The 2nd apt nobody showed up or called. I called back in and they said they did not have an apt set up for someone to come out. The apt was rescheduled again for the 3rd time. I called in two days before to confirm I still had an apt. and was told they could not find the ticket and would have someone call me. No call back. I called back and talked to the operator and asked for a manager to call me and I still have not received a call. I even called corporate and was told I had to deal with that specific location. Nearly 4 months of waiting for our fridge to show up and all we are told is they have no clue if or when they will be able to complete our order. It took RC willey many delivery trips (4) and each time something was wrong. I even went in to the store to speak with customer service. They said they would make sure the warehouse get it right. (Didn’t happen) The first delivery table was broken and only 5 chairs arrived. 2nd time the delivery canceled without notifying you for the dining table and missing items. 3rd time they came, they brought wrong products and 4th time the 6th chair was supposed to arrive but delivery was canceled. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought a sectional from the Rocklin location and a few months later one of the zippers broke on a cushion. I called to get it fixed because it was covered under warranty. That was SEVEN MONTHS AGO. I have called countless times and asked to speak the manager Karina. The rep that sold us Kevin Maddox was just a blow hard and just sold what he wanted to sell that day we brought measurements for a counter depth refrigerator and he didn’t tell us that we had to leave it out because the doors wouldn’t open all the way. Then the installation was just a drop and go had to take off all of the packaging and the water wouldn’t work right so they sent somebody out to fix it Now drawers inside the refrigerator do not open right so now I have to have somebody come out from a third-party to fix it. Although customer service is very polite.

Avoid working with this company at all costs. My sales experience was fine but when it comes to delivery and returns it was a mess. The drivers delivered damaged furniture and left out the couch we ordered. When I called customer service they said there was nothing they could do as they were located in Utah and I am in California. They told me the delivery department would contact me and they did not. I called back customer service and they finally got some information and it was that the couch was now out of stock. No one ever seemed the slightest bit apologetic and even mocked my frustration and that was from a supervisor.

I was not going to post a review because I did not want to be negative, but I keep receiving texts from RCW asking for a review, so here it goes.. Sales staff are great, especially Sam. This is not a review of their sales floor. However, RC Willey has really gone down hill since covid. We ordered a bedroom set and received a damaged footboard. RCW ordered a replacement and when they delivered, it had more damage than the first. Third delivery, we went to the truck assuming this one was probably damaged and didnt want them to waste time bringing it in if it was. You guessed it, more damage than the first two. We are on our fourth delivery but it is now backordered without an estimated date. We are also waiting on our second delivery of the dresser that was also significantly damaged on the first attempt The shipping and delivery staff are not doing their job. If its damaged, dont put it on the truck and try to deliver hoping the customer wont notice. My wife went in to complain and the managers are worthless. The general manager wont even return a phone call. We were happy with RCW for so many years but the last few purchases all arrived in similar damaged condition. My suggestion is to replace your general manager in Rocklin, train your customer service managers in customer service and completely replace all of your shipping and delivery staff. Purchased a couch from them and was told there was stock at the warehouse. Showed up and the warehouse, they checked my paperwork and said be out in a second. Then they TEXT ME, and say there is none in stock and to call the sales person. I thought them texting me vs coming out to tell me in person was very unprofessional. I called the sales person, and they apologized for the inconvenience and told me they were going to look into and call me back. A few minutes later I get a call back and was told they have some in Utah that they will ship out and I can pick it up from the warehouse in a few days. A few minutes later he called me back and said they will deliver to my house, free of charge. A few days later the delivery showed up, and I asked them to please put it in my living room (the couch would go RIGHT next to the front door). The passenger of the delivery truck said you don’t have free delivery noted. I was like excuse me? And explained the story and he said well its up to the driver then and was a bit rude. The driver was like not a big deal, lets do it and they carried it in right through the front door and left. It was a bit complicated and communication was clearly not there amongst all departments but I would go back.

The sales person was great…knowledgeable and responsive. The installers were less than acceptable. They arrived early which was fine installed the stove but said our counters were too high. They made no effort to raise the level of the stove and made no suggestion for raising the height. One of the installers piece of equipment put a 6” scratch on our stainless steel refrigerator which we immediately discovered after they left( picture attached). I never received any not about installing the dish washer which theoretically was being delivered to the store on April 5th. I came into the Rocklin store and the salesman was able to schedule the same model to be delivered on April 12th. At the same time, it did take 30+ minutes for him to create the transaction.

I’ve had now 3 deliveries so far and everyone the product I purchased had something wrong with it and have had to exchange it for a new set. The latest delivery was also damaged. I like the furniture and prices but the salespeople are almost like car salesmen. We could hardly browse or have conversations between us about what we were liking/not liking without being interrupted over and over. It was too much and really turned us off from buying anything there.
