Legit.. This was at least for me a stress situation. Some four leggit beast selected out of all my cars (7) to keet hitting my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser no lie one day I fixed the wires moved it came back in no lie an hour and a half and the little mfker ate the same wires again. I fixed them moved it around again sprayed any smelly body spray my girlfriend had over everything after I went full Furiosa send with the 0 degree pressure washer tip in every crack I could possibly find. I’m willing to bet my neighbors thought I went ultra mega tweaker 5.0. At one point I just said to heck with it and popped the hood and left it up for a week. Rain whatever, i seriously as stupid as this sounds. I didn’t know what to do. I’m googling like it’s my full time job, Home Depot, Lowe’s, the tractor supply store. Talking to pest control businesses. Everyone has the magic cure, baits, disco balls, sound devices motion lights. Can you imagine the neighbors when tweaker 5.0 is having motion activated strobe type lights? A big concern of mine was the fact that I have a Dalmatian and that gimp will eat anything and fast so I knew out the gate poison was not going to be an option. It was pretty stress full, I really just couldn’t grasp how something so stupid was just proving to be so hard to solve. The question of wth was this animal only targeting one of my vehicles. I started digging in that and it’s kind of hard to confirm but makes sense that is some of the Asian auto manufacturers used soy in wire insulation. Well bingo. Somehow with I feel like a bit of luck (the seo could use some improvements) I found this product. Soon as I received open. Read the instructions as i purchased both the regular spray and the other stuff to make it water resistant. Like any normal person I was a little reserved I mean everyone claims their stuff the best but more times that we would like it to happen, these products fail to perform. But again four times that mfker eating up the wires causing a no start and dtc codes for brake booster. I sprayed that stuff on that entire engine compartment and under body like I was putting out a wild fire. Went probably overboard but at this point I was really fingers cross next level desperate. And no sht nothing happened again. I checked every day micro inspecting for any sign of nibble marks. And absolutely zero. I will say I can attest to the “non harmful” claim as the night I sprayed it was slight breeze later that night the occasional lick of the lips would bring a sharp reminder of the situation as I would taste the spray on my lips. I’m assuming some blew back on me. Taste like bung so I see why they don’t like it. In closing however. I can 100% say this product works, follow instructions and application and you will see for your self. Skip the other stuff and for fks sake no ultra sonic sound jank or flashing lights. This solution is very affordable and works well. I wasn’t paid or compensated to write any of this. I purchased this product at the prices shown on website. This is just my honest experience with an extremely frustrating situation. Few examples of the damage included as well.

So so Happy to have found Rataway!! I live in an apartment complex and we have a rat problem! Rataway really works! I have dogs who sometimes eat rats. Not in favor of poison to kill rats. Thank you for all of the great information and wonderful, easy to use product. My car is parked in the driveway. Started using this on my 2016 Auto after I had about $700 damage to wiring. Now using on my 2019 Auto. Typically one month interval has been sufficient. However, car was in the shop and restarted with Rataway in December. Missed the beginning of January spraying and opened the hood to find that there were signs of a rat! Snail shells! There were none for over 6 years while using Rataway!Wonderful product! Highly recommend it! Works when sprayed regularly!

Definitely appears to be keeping the rodents away from my engine compartment, where they previously ate some insulation and left their droppings as evidence of their presence.I wish the weatherproof version would work in my spray bottle, but I’ve tried 3 different types of spray bottles, and it seems to clog up in all of them, so I’ll continue using the basic version.

I’ve started using Rataway a couple of years ago to protect my lawn tractor from mice chewing on wires and hoses while parked in my shed. Previously, I had tried dryer sheets and moth balls, and that didn’t stop them.I spray the Rataway solution and waterproofing spray after each lawn mowing, and I have not had a problem so far. I recommend trying Rataway. It works for me.

Have used this product for approximately 8 years. Rats ate the wiring on one car and one tractor and one furnace, before we found this effective deterrent. Now there aren’t even footprints on implements/machinery or damage to wiring. Rats and mice abound in Santa Ynez farm country.Easy to mix. 1 small bottle makes a full gallon of high power deterrent.

After a routine oil change, mechanic told me that rodents had started chewing on electrical wires and plastic items under the hood. He also told me how much it would be to replace the electrical harness if it continued. Then I found papers in the glove box had been shredded. Hadnt realized that there was an opening between the engine and the back of the glove box. Found Rataway online and ordered it. It was promptly delivered. Made the solution. Once I started spraying it, the problem stopped. No more rodents invading my vehicle.

I spray Rataway in my car engine weekly. I cant know for sure, but it seems to work at keeping the NYC rats from chewing up my wiring. It definitely provides me with more peace of mind knowing that Im doing whatever I can to protect my car. Rick is great to work with. He always gets back to me when I have questions, and will talk any issues through in detail. He understands and appreciates loyal customers, and often sends extra items along when I order more.

This is a product used to spray your car home or travel trailer to keep rodents away. Its not too exterminate them so it is far more humane. I had very good luck with this after an infestation in my travel trailer. For about 2 months after spraying no sign of the little buggers. Then I was due for a respray but was sick for 3 weeks and didnt get around to it and they came back. But I have sprayed again and havent seen them since.

Rick is so awesome as well as very informative and knowledgeable. We spent at least 35min on the phone call explaining to me what I needed to do before he mailed out my 📦 which he just got out the same day last minute before USPS closed. Received in 2 days. In the meantime he told me to move my car about 10 feet back so that the rat 🐀 wouldnt know where Mt car was. The rat was under my hood of my 2014 Prius attracted the soy based wire harness in my vehicle. Never again the rats 🐀 ever going near my vehicle. Definitely worth the money the most powerful solution. Told my neighbor about it as well.

There are some pretty persistent rats where I live. The rataway fragrance is somewhat but not completely helpful, but the spicy fragrance is keeping their visits in the engine compartment very short. As in one wiff and they take off!

My husband and I could never store our fishing boat for the winter in the covered shed we had because of rodents. They would chew up the wires going to the 2 batteries and anything else they could destroy with their teeth. Tried everything and still had the same problem until we came across rat -a -way rodent deterient. It 100% works to keep any rodents from chewing on wires, hoses carpet and doesnt kill with poison just in case some folks were wondering. Earlier this year I was at WAR! I had to spend over a grand to fix the ignition wire that was eaten through by an unwanted Rat!! The Rat(s) took over my cars engine and after taking several HIGH DOLLAR steps in trying to deter, not kill, I was defeated! I tried it ALL - Under the Hood device - did not work, Peppermint Oil - sorta worked but not long, ONIONS - did not work, DRYER SHEETS - did not work, FOIL - surprisingly worked but what a pain leaving this atop your engine and having to remove it daily...did not last long until.... I found RATAWAY!! The reviews were convincing and for the price I was willing to try this product. Rick spoke to me direct while explaining the background behind the product and I was further convinced and looking forward to following all the steps he shares when the product arrives. He provides reminder stickers, information, and easy to use instructions. I sprayed this all over my engine, inside and outside of all 4 wheels and under the carriage. WHOOSH! No more RATS!! I even used this on my husbands Land Rover that sits in our driveway and NO MORE RATS or droppings anywhere. I should of left this review months ago, and Rick reminded me and so I just want to share that this is the real deal! Inexpensive with AMAZING customer service and I still have some of the product left over and use it around the exterior of my home on a weekly basis. After having our car rewired after parking the weekend at a theme park in Orlando, i researched and found Rataway. Hsve used it with the waterproof additive ever since. Aksi on our AC lines outside our home and our rooftop satellite dish after we found the squirrels had chewed the plastic coverings. Soy is used in plastics now and the rodents can smell it. We spray our car and the plastics outside.

We used Rataway in a rental that had rodents, due to the tenants not removing the trash. We sprayed several times, since then we have no problems. We now use the product in our garage and basement to keep the rodents away. We found that spraying an average of at least three to four times a month is best.

I have been using Rataway for a few years now and am generally pleased with the results. I must add the caveat that frequent application of the product is probably the key. When I have been lax about reapplications I have been sorry. In the past three years I have had rodent damage to two different pick up trucks costing me around $1200 in repairs. I am committed to more frequent applications now.

Rataway is one of those things that you wont believe it works until you try it! Living in the country, we have problems with rats and mice chewing up wiring on vehicles and electrical stuff. Have not had one problem since we started using Rataway several years ago. Several others in the area use it also. And, because its a natural product, you dont have to worry about pets and other animalsgetting poisoned.

If you have ever had a car or farm machinery wiring harness eaten by vermin....mice, squirrels, etc. you need this. That is an EXPENSIVE repair. This really repels them. I live in the middle of nowhere and also spray around my outside HVAC unit. Its amazing how much damage animals can do now that plastic has soy in it..............imagine that, animals attracted to SOY!!! Bottom line, it works. Spray around anywhere you think mice enter and it will help, but you have to have a maintenace schedule just like with bugs in the garden. Thanks for a useful money saving product.

I met Rick at a farm trade show and he convinced me to try rataway, so I did and it does everything he said it would.I use it around my feed buildings and no longer see any evidence of mice or rats....works great.
