Been going to Rascals since high school, so it’s safe to say it’s one of my favorites in the South Bay. This Gardena location is always very clean, the food is priced competitively, and the food itself is always delicious! Great experience every time, chalk it up to friendly, responsive staff!

One of my many favorite places to eat. My only complaint is that Rascals no longer delivers to Compton, CA. Tried ordering a couple of weeks ago and I was told it was too far. Not going to hold that against them. However, I miss the delivery service. After a long day at work, I had a taste for Rascals. Its not far from Compton, but miss that option of delivery. Anyhoo! The rest is history, purchased my meal made it home safely 🙏🏿 The deluxe combo with brown rice and Chinese chicken salad will last me two days. I still remain a loyal customer 😋OH! just found out theres location now in Carson, CA 😁 Maybe they might deliver to Compton? Only I can do is inquire 😊 My friend informed me about it last night.

I ordered take out. Id eaten food from Rascals before and was in the area so I ordered some to have for our dinner. The sauce is incredibly tasty 😋Next time I order, Ill order an extra container because it wasnt enough sauce. Salad was fresh too. I love onions in my salad so Ill ask for more of them next time. Great food and kind customer service.

This is our go-to spot for Teriyaki!We typically get the chicken Teriyaki deluxe that comes with a Chinese chicken salad.We absolutely love the salad, the dressing they make is like no other! WabaGrill meets Tams diner. The teriyaki is miles better than waba though, meat is better quality, real charbroil, the burger is way better than you’d find in any tams as well. They excelled in quality presentation, service, speed, atmosphere, space is huge. All at a super affordable price. Each meal was 10-15$. This family diner for sure welcomes my next visit.

Love love love everything about this place! But I was so disappointed in my salad I bought yesterday! You guys need to add dates or something with your salads, my lettuce was very concerning and the cucumbers were all slimy.. this is so dangerous for pregnant women! Listeria is literally life or death for us! Please redeem yourself! We love you too much!

There are a couple locations but this specific one has a special place in my heart. Perhaps because it was the first one I went to or because its in G town (Gardena). Either way its my favorite one.The location itself is pretty chill. Theres plenty of parking in the plaza it resides in and once you enter youll see a very spacious location. For some reason the ceiling even feels higher than other places.The food itself is the best. Its so good that Ill even order a chicken salad (yep, i said it). I get the plate with both beef and chicken and switch white rice out for brown rice. The portions are very hefty and could be shared if you wanted. I really enjoy the chicken salad, its probably why they are so popular.The staff was very friendly and professional. My order was taken quickly and politely. The food was out rather fast too.Overall, you should visit this location.

I live in Ssn Diego and have been a customer of Rascals for about 25 years. I always dine in and place a large order to go! However, this time, I only ordered takeout! My food was packaged already and I only checked for quantity! I should have checked the chicken salads for quality. I ordered 5 large teriyaki chicken dinners, which came with 5 small chicken salads and I ordered 2 Large family size chicken salads. Well, to say the salads were bad is an understatement! They were gross with brown, soggy lettuce and some actually were slimy! I have been a longtime customer of this establishment. I can honestly say the quality of the food here has changed drastically!!

If you like expensive and small portion when ordering large plate, then this is your restaurant. Its so disappointing! Weve been going her since their old location, and everything seems to go backwards after moving to a newer location, price went up but portion got small! Dont order large because they will give you a portion of small, so better just order small. You can count the pieces of chicken they put on a large plate, count it yourself on the photo attached.

Omg The best Chicken Salad!!! Fresh crisp green lettuce, nicely shredded chicken (wish there was more of it though) with an absolutely delicious dressing. I dont know whats in that dressing, but its soooo GOOD. They limit the number of extra dressings you can buy. I always get 2 extras. I wish they would bottle it and sell it. Its that good! The Chicken Teriyaki with rice is good too. They have a big menu but this is all Ive had and want.

The food here is absolutely delicious 😋 I always like getting the Teri Deluxe Combo. It comes with a super delicious Chinese chicken salad, rice, teriyaki chicken and beef. Plenty of food enough to share with two people, I also like to get the order of their chili cheese fries. They are really really good as well 👍 hands down my favorite so far. Better than any Charbroil burger place, Ive also had their Turkey and Teriyaki Burger and it is soo good as well. They have a good variety of food and different choices as well. I wish I could have taken pictures but its soo good that I dont even hesitate to start eating upon getting my food.

We go a couple hours before closing. Each time they have put up the chairs on half of the restaurant tables. They seem as if they want to go home as soon as possible and look disappointed when customers come with still over 2 hours prior to closing. They would clearly like to give everyone the bums rush so they can leave early.

Teri beef is unbelievably good as is the chinese chicken salad. Gets pretty busy during lunch and dinner times so be ready to wait. Make sure you have enough time to eat if you go late, they WILL start shutting down, cleaning and sweeping while you are eating pretty much giving you the hurry up looks from the staff.

This was my 1st time there, the staff very friendly and pleasant. I ordered chicken, beef and broccoli teriyaki and curry chicken. My boyfriend said the broccoli tasted burnt. My curry had potatoes and carrots, it was too thick and dry the flavor was ok I guess I will try it again when Im in the area.

I ordered Beef Teriyaki half-sandwich and Chicken Noodle soup combo. And I was pleasantly surprised! The portions were bigger than I expected. And both tasted great! The soup was piping hot. I ended up finishing everything. Could hardly stand up as I was so full. Very satisfying for the price. No wonder the queue got very long. They would need another cash register.

The best Chinese Chicken Salad and Beef Teriyaki. Super easy to make a phone order and is usually ready within 10/15 mins. The staff is always friendly, and my order is always correct. I could eat the salad literally every day. Its such a basic salad, but its so darn delicious! Whenever I have an event, I always get the salad catered. Im always able to find parking with no problem. Anyways, I recommend checking them out and giving them a try!

I have been a Rascals fan for decades and even used to bring friends here, but Im so disappointed by whats happened at this location.First, the quality of their Chinese Chicken Salad has really declined. They seem to be be cutting the amount of chicken and other things in it, while expanding the amount of cheap lettuce to act as a filler. At the same time theyve raised their prices considerably over the last few years. I understand that costs go up, but it barely seems like a chicken salad anymore. The cost isnt worth it.Secondly, the restaurant is poorly maintained, and has been for quite a while now. I think they only wipe down the tables once per day, because for the last 2 years every time we go in they are dirty and sticky no matter which ones we try. Sometimes the seats are too. Also a few of the tables are so wobbly that your drinks spill out if you bump it. Additionally, they repair the upholstery on the seats with duct tape, and have been for a long time. The tape gets worn and sticks to your clothes and leaves residue.

This place is the spot for American style teriyaki chicken with sticky rice. The give you big portions for a good price. They also have burgers and fries. The kids menu is a good option for those with a small appetite. The Chinese chicken salad is one of the best around. The customer service is great. I ordered your Chinese Chicken Salad yesterday for the first time through DoorDash. I was so disappointed. It was basically a large container of not-so-fresh lettuce with shredded chicken. The portion of the Chicken has gotten so bad that you can now actually count the pieces! Guy at the register took my simple order and complicated it by putting it in the system in an odd order. I had to clarify how I wanted my burger and guess what. They screwed it up. Surprise! They claim they turn off the food app orders because they were really busy. It wasnt busy at all when I arrived. My teriyaki burger was 50% Teri sauce. A huge mess. I guess when I said I dont want my burger drowning in sauce it fell on deaf ears. Ive been disappointed in their service for a while now so Im just gonna find another restaurant

So much better now in the larger location. Im really happy for this place and the business. Always super friendly staff and quick turn on lunch time. Plenty of parking and tables inside.My family usually always orders the family packs that come with your chicken, steak, and Chinese chicken salad. Hold up, the Chinese chicken salad though, is AMAZING. By far my favorite and a must when I go there. The teriyaki sauce is a little thicker than most places but I really like that about them. There burgers are also really really good. Great flavor and size! I Love rascals, they never disappoint here.

The Teri deluxe chicken is fantastic. We order it with all white meat, because the standard is mixed chicken. It is worth the extra dollar. The rice is always hot and fresh. Their Teriyaki sauce is sweet and tangy. Youll want to ask for an extra cup of the sauce. The Chinese chicken salad is a great complement to the Teriyaki chicken and rice.

This is the consummate teriyaki restaurant. Weve been coming to them for years at their old location off of Western and their new locations are very clean and spacious. Their personal has always on top of things and are very helpful and always professional. A sure sign they are treated well by management. Their teriyaki dishes and currys have always been top ranked their Chinese Chicken salad is also very, very good. Another plus is their burgers and hotdogs are also some of the best anywhere. They definitely beat what you can get at a chain burger restaurant.

What looked like a long line upon arrival ended being a less than 10 minute wait. They arent allowing anyone more than 10 feet inside the front door and only when its your turn to order or pick up. Something they didnt tell me when I ordered over the phone was that they only accept card, no cash. I was not prepared and begged they make change for my 20. They did and I left feeling very grateful and satisfied. Bought a large Chinese chicken salad tray, will always return as this is a favorite restaurant of ours.

Great huge portions of good quality chicken & rice. The staff at the counter advised me of the popularity of the salad dressing. Once I tried it, I was amazed. The chicken isnt the best. Definitely better options out there for a chicken bowl. And I didnt see Chicken Bowl on the menu (the cashier had to tell me). But it was a nice and roomy setup they had. Or, it could have been the staff who charged the person in front of me a different price on my meal combo than he did me. Family owned. Gardena was the original location and they now have locations in Torrance and Long Beach near CSULB. Famous for their Chinese Chicken Salad and Teriyaki. Nice options for burgers and sandwich w/salad or soup combos.Support local neighborhood restaurants/businesses. Call restaurant for current hours that may be modified for regulatory requirements.

Rascals is outstanding for Teriyaki anything. Super clean, place, and my go to dish, teriyaki chicken deluxe plate has Chinese chicken salad too. Get a little extra teriyaki sauce and you are good to go the rest of the day. Its not a fancy place, just good.JC

Just 3 words...CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD!!! I usually get the teriyaki bowl but I wanted the salad. Its amazing! Great if youre doing a potluck, I promise that it will be a big hit. My friends and colleagues ask me to bring it. The teriyaki is great also... great portion ...and reasonably priced.

Was disappointed. The quality of the chicken in the teri plate was dry and the chicken was tough. It looked as though I had gotten the scraps. Grizzle and fat. All dark meat and no white meat at all. Never used to be that way. Its going to be a while before I return.

Rascals is amazing. By far the best teriyaki chicken/beef bowls out there. And the Chinese chicken salad is awesome too. They have more on the menu like burgers and sandwiches but when you go there dont think twice just order a combo teriyaki plate and thank me later. And if you take it to go make sure to ask for extra teriyaki sauce. Its so freaking good you cant get enough of it

Unknown gem till recently. Highly suggest the teriyaki burger and teriyaki steak sandwhich. Exceptionally well. The sauce isnt too sweet/ or too runny just right. And the veggies goes well with the theme. Overall will return.

Best dang teriyaki in town, dare I say best anywhere in the state or further? Theres a reason theres always a decent line, sometimes reaching outside the door and then some. I feel bad for those not in the South Bay or close by because this place only has 3 locations in Gardena, Torrance and Long Beach.
