Had a blast with the family !! My kids loved it they bowled all night with us kid friendly spot. They have other activities suck as an arcade room and pool tables and a bar the kitchen area provides good food as well.

I really liked the experience here. To start off with unlike most bowling alleys they actually had my size and when the shoes came out they were in decent shape and clean. The bowling alley itself was a typical bowling alley experience. Not really much to talk about. Although they also have a couple billiard tables if you are waiting on a lane to open up which is a nice touch. The folks working here were nice and answered our questions pretty quick. The food here was way better than typical bowling alley food as were the drinks.

This is our home house now that we live on the Central Coast. Can’t say enough about Wade, he goes above and beyond for customer service! We have started a Senior travel club and he has been most gracious with us to let this be the home house.

Loved this place. My first time going. Absolutely clean environment. Has a great looking grill to have a bite to eat. Has a few pool tables if you decide you dont want to bowl or if you are waiting for a lane. Bar area also available.

The bowling alley was great. The cafe....a whole other story. People who run the cafe, sweetest people ever, the food...OMG. This is the place where you would take someone you really hate! Chicken sandwich with wet lettuce and the kind of chicken you would find in a play house. Rubbery chewy, just all out gross. Then they have the audacity to charge $17! The fries, ugh, couldnt even pawn them off ok my kid. They offered to resolve the problem by making a fresh one, of course the young lady kindly told me the package had been opened a few days earlier and had been laying arouns the fridge. I asked if they could make me a fresh hamburger patty, they said yes. 20! minutes later they trot out with a patty that looked as if it had been sitting around as well. My dogs would not even eat it when I took it home. They need fresh food and a new menu. Then they can justify charging restaurant prices. Tell you what though, their jalapeno cheese sticks are good.

I cant say enough NICE things about Rancho Bowl! The newly remodeled facility is beautiful and the food is great! Everything from the friendly staff to the fun arcade, updated lighting (including a DISCO themed option) was fantastic. I have been a few times but its on the list to visit again soon!

Great place. Clean, and new looking. The balls look brand new. I am definitely going back!Kinda annoyed, though, because my group couldnt get two lanes. They said that Sat night, they dont let groups smaller than 8 have two lanes. Sure, makes sense, except that the lane next to us was empty most of the time, and there were many empty lanes. Could have been a little more understanding considering that we were a mix of kids and adults.But, Ill still go back!

**Update: Bowling is fun here and I wanted to add from previous review. Price for Food is still high but the business has something for everyone -pool tables, shuffle board, darts, arcade room w all favs, full cocktail bar, karaoke on certain days, state of the art scoring and special after league theme bowling. Really nice lanes, very well maintained, staff nice and knowledgeable. However-Snacks RIDICULOUSLY high priced for Tiny portions!; $19 for 3 TINY ¼ cup of ice cream?! (Wont be eating ice cream there again!)

This place it 5 star worthy, it is affordable so beginners dont have to spend loads of money to bowl. It is very pro bowler friendly too, my bowling balls never get to beat up when I go there. Over all it is a great bowling alley, but the only down side is it does get busy so you do have to wait some time for a lane to open, but it isnt to bad because that have a great bar and good food so it makes the wait not to bad

Bowled there off and on last few years in both league and family fun setting. It is a mixed bag because they are 5 stars by on most things and 0 stars on plenty other things. The facilities are excellent, the staff is so-so the main problem is they do not control the drunks in the bar and occasionally are participating. The food is a little over priced but for the most part great for ally food. The patrons are always good folks and usually repeat customers. Lastly the pro shop has good prices and deals if and when they are open although the couple who runs might seem gruff and stand-offish they are actually very friendly people with tons of knowledge. If not for the staff, who are not all rude, but the ones who are, along with the drunks, kind of ruin a 5 star bowling ally!

Great place to go with friends and family, great atmosphere and they remodeled the place a few years ago. Revamped the restaurant menu, cleaned up the facilities and refreshed all the alleys. The area is still not the greatest, but the establishment itself is very good. Highly recommend!

My kids love this place. Kind of a hidden gem. Its location and exterior appearance makes it look pretty dated, once inside that all changes. While the physical structure is the same, the bowling amenities and equipment are state of the art. Great score keeping and graphic displays that really appeal to the kids. Food and beverage prices are reasonable. We used to only bowl at the Air Force base due to their top quality facility, however, this place has become our go to location...

Love this place. I was really good at bowling back in elementary, then I stopped going. Totally better place now with the technology these days. I like the facts they have the service to request your songs from your phone while bowling. Love it. Perfect for a good time with friends and highly recommended if you have a date and dont know where to take her. Youll have a nice time here, request one of her favorite songs and youre on lol. $70 for one hour of bowl for 5 people. Time starts as soon as you start bowling. Facilities are clean. I saw employees constantly cleaning the bowling balls and returning them to shelf. No problems with other bowlers, friendly people and families with kids of all ages were there. Most people did not wear masks. They allow drinking at your bowling lane. Had lots of fun!

As far as bowling alleys go, not a bad offering. Unfortunately the day we went for a friends birthday there so happened to be an official tournament. We watched the pros play some matches and then spent some time shooting dinos in the arcade. Will have to come back so we can actually bowl some balls.

Most of the employees at the bowling alley are great, friendly and helpful, but there is one gal in particular who is always rude and doesnt think when assigning lanes (or shes purposefully doing it poorly to anger people, but that seems unlikely). The renovated lanes are great, but I loathe the music that play there most of the time. I also wish they didnt do the rave-n-bowl stuff so much.I wish their website was more informative, especially about their leagues.The food is surprisingly good, but sometimes inconsistent. The employees at the diner are very friendly.

The bowling experience is one I look forward to wherever I visit. The venue was five minutes late opening. Then the unlimited bowling option was the only one available at $16.00 per person not including the $6.00 for shoes. No prices listed for food that I saw. And the largest beer option cost $33.00.I am sure that this is a fabulous option for an all evening entertainment option. But when the choices are limited to all or nothing I am a little put off.

VIP area. Bar\adult lounge area. Surprisingly big arcade for a bowling alley. Full kitchen. Staff fix issues and accomidate loss time with manager approval. Managers are apologetic should any issues arise. Only had one female staff with an attitude because our lane just wasnt working after several attempts to fix it. Manager addressed the issues. Overall a great place to go. Wish I could give a 5 star but that would mean everything was always great and working.

The environment was nice. A fun family place. The only problem was that we night a package that included pizza and they forgot to bring it or call us for it. Them when we went to conplaon and ask for out. They said they had come three times to check and make sure we good what we needed. It took for them to come all the way down to our lane and see that we had no evidence of food. When they finally brought the pizza the crust was about 3 inches when the slice was only 6 inches long. Ill still go back for bowling, but ill rethink the food.

While the updated bowling lanes were nice, the customer service was not. I had called two days ahead of time to find out prices and was told that the price to rent a lane from 12 to 5 in the afternoon was $10 a lane per hour. My wife wanted to go bowling and I was expecting the quoted price. When we got there, however, we were given a price of $30 a lane per hour. They said that the person I spoke with quoted me the before 12 noon price. Even though the mistake had been made on their part, they would not budge on their price, even though we had told our friends and family to meet us there for my wifes birthday with the intention of being able to rent a few lanes at the $10 per hour price. If youre looking for good customer service and a place that holds themselves accountable for their mistakes, this is not it. Not to mention that $30 per lane per hour is outrageous! The upgrades to the equipment were great. Now it might be time to upgrade the customer service.

He got to the ranch bowling around 4:45On Wednesday I requested 2 lanes but the guy name wain he said we couldn’t get 2 lanes because he all ready had people call and made reservations I told him it was first come first serve . My husband and I were wanting a breakfast place to watch the Chargers in the playoffs. The game was at 9am, so my husband Googled for a place to have breakfast and a tv to watch the game. Rancho Bowl hosted our company appreciation day. I worked with Suzy Benson at Rancho Bowl to coordinate the event. From the initial e-mails to the follow up afterwards; Suzy was informative and provided all information in a timely manner. The day of the event the staff was wonderful. Wade and Lolo greeted me upon arrival and went over food arrangements and pre-set the lanes with our attendees names; which made it really easy for everyone to find their lane. The food came out on-time and was fresh and hot. We had decided on party foods and selected the various appetizer platters, pizza and salad and desserts. Susan and Karen who helped us with the food were great.; very pleasant to work with.We loved that they played music and had the disco lights on; this was fun for us and the kids. The bowling alley has been updated since the last time I was there a year ago. The lanes are computerized, you can take your picture and little emoji’s play throughout the bowl. Another highlight for many people was we could select bumpers on a per person basis; so if only certain people wanted to have them on your lane that was an option. The bar has been updated as well. The bathrooms were clean also.The only mishap was when we were closing the bill out with Lolo. This was resolved promptly and we were on our way. Suzy immediately followed up early Monday morning with an apology for the mishap and feedback was given on the event.All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend Rancho Bowl for company or personal events. We would like to make this a annual event and would definitely go back to Rancho Bowl.Thank you to a great crew. We have received only positive feedback from those who attended. This is my ultimate favorite place in Santa Maria for entertainment, the bowling alley is fully updated the family loves it, havent seen a nicer bowling ally around or near here as nice, all the staff is so friendly, the food is delicious and fresh! They are even open for breakfast and the prices are very reasonable and they have a bar with DJs for 21 and over after 9pm, to have drinks, dance, listen to music, bartenders so friendly and security always alert on thier surroundings, its one of the only clubs we like to attend because they priotize themselves on the safety of thier customers, if you are in town with your family bring them here or if you want to grab a drink then here it is too, bar open daily too for that afternoon drink as well, or grab a bite to eat, one stop fun here

Good bowling experience was fun and enjoyable. The customer service there was very good.Unfortunately while the food was decent, they were out of two of their menu items, and the service was terrible. I absolutely dont recommend the restaurant.

Super fun bowling with interactive score boards and tv/videos playing. Killer bar and snack menu...the bar is not a place to relax at night though as its always very loud hip hop DJS playing every night...

This place is nothing more than a place to bowl. All of the female staff here constantly has an attitude towards the customers and the male staff just walks around and talks. Upon arival I looked around to empty beer bottles and glasses next to children none the less. I came here on a Monday and paid for my shoes and 5 games they took my money and after one game they turned off the lights without notice. I promptly asked them to turn back on the lights for my lane or move me to the opposite side, the side that still had the lights on. I was told, all the light are being turned off anyway. I played the rest of my games, with the lights off, while on the other side of the bowling alley the lights stayed on. I was left to believe that they were just to lazy to move me. Overall all I can say is that if there was another bowling alley I would go there first
