2024-05-15 18:56:59Gross! Never again! This place was gross! I should have known from the second I walked in the front doors! Not only was it completely gross, dirty and our room smelled disgusting, the staff was extremely rude and incompetent. I can’t wait to write the Pacific Design Center and tell them NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYONE! I stayed for five nights! 5 nights too long! I had several packages delivered for an event at the Pacific Design Center and even though I had constantly been asking the front desk if I had received any packages, they completely FAILED to tell me my PERISHABLE package was sitting for over 12 hours! Yes, my name was on the package. Here’s what the manager said when I pointed out my name on the package “I guess I am not as smart as you”. A MANAGER said this! And then he proceeded to yell and argue with me. Nice hospitality dude! Literally the WORST PLACE I have ever stayed! My room was disgusting and not once in 5 days did housekeeping come in and at least empty the trash. The pool was disgusting. Never again. You should think twice about staying here! Just don’t. You’ll thank me!!

2024-06-04 15:28:07I must say I am extremely disappointed! They withhold a $300 deposit fee which is insane for somebody staying one night or even three. There is no microwaves in the room or on the property so you are in trouble if you have food to warm up. The air conditioning is substandard compared to pretty much any other Hotel. Be prepared to pay the highest parking fee of $50 a night which is absolutely ridiculous and they have no valet on top of that. If you have no car youre already winning because you have no parking fee and you can walk everywhere then this is your hotel because its close to all the bars and most of the shops. If youre trying to save some money youre better off staying in Hollywood somewhere and paying no $50 a night parking fee and also a $300 deposit which is the highest of all the hotels in West Hollywood and surrounding areas. Also they do not have a spa and the rooms were clean but clearly this hotel is not what it used to be its very outdated.

2024-02-09 03:35:05This was probably one of the most underwhelming hotels I have ever had. The photos of the rooms are very deceiving as they are much nicer and more modern than the actual rooms are. They have these great photos of a cool, hip looking on-site lobby bar and it actually doesnt exist. The space is there but looks closed, abandoned, or shuttered since the pandemic. I was refused a later checkout when I called my last night there and wouldnt even be given an hour past the 11am checkout. The parking fee is $50 a night which is COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS and should be called out on the website IN ADVANCE. That is highway robbery. For $200+ a night I should have stayed in a real, more upscale hotel like Hilton or Marriott.

2024-06-07 00:16:27**DO NOT STAY HERE.**I WOULDN’T GIVE THIS PLACE A SINGLE STAR BUT GOOGLE’S MINIMUM RATING IS 1 STAR. BUT IT IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW.As a seasoned traveler and CEO of a global environmental organization, I can confidently say this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I stayed for one night to attend red carpet events in West Hollywood, and the experience was abysmal.I WAS MISLED ABOUT THE AMMENITIES.The hotel claimed to have a 24/7 restaurant and a bar that closes at 11 PM—neither existed. Despite staying only one night, I was charged for two nights and never received a refund. The manager, front desk, staff, concierge, housekeeping, and security were unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful.THE ROOMS WERE FILTHY.An outlet sparked at me, posing a serious fire hazard, and the room had a dismal view of an air conditioner on the rooftop. Despite requesting a refund, I was offered a room change, which I accepted due to time constraints. The new room was marginally better but still dirty and without a view.THEY LIE ABOUT FREE PARKING.Parking was $50 per day, contrary to the promised free parking, leading to an additional $100 charge. I was charged $738 for one night and never received my deposit back, totaling $838 for two nights when I stayed only one night. WiFi and room service, which were supposed to be included, were non-existent. My refund request was met with outright disrespect.THERE ARE MUCH NICER HOTELS.If you’re considering booking here, don’t. There are far better options in the area. I will never book with this company again and will inform my vast network of leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, actors, and celebrities to avoid this establishment.EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT.This hotel is an absolute disgrace.I am contacting my bank to file a dispute, place an block, and get my money back for the time I was charged and didn’t stay there.**0 STARS – SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!**

2024-05-31 06:37:48They advertise having a restaurant, bar and Cafe on site but Im reality they havent had any of that since COVID and havent bothered to update their amenities.Despite that they charge $300 for incidentals which is ironic since theres not actually anything you could buy on property that doesnt come from a vending machine, unless maybe you watch $300 worth of movies. The front desk attendant when I first checked in spoke like an auctioneer just wanting to say his words and go back to his seat in the other room. Not welcoming at all (I will say the staff the next day and at checkout were much more personable).Room was clean but dated and had a couple broken lights and one of the air conditioners was broken as well.Gym is usable but very small and the weight machine has frayed cables and missing bolts.Pool area is clean and simple, but they do not stock it with towels despite having a towel station.I brought this all up with Wyndham guest services but got no response as of yet.Property has a lot of premise but imo its probably due for some new management or maybe a cash infusion from Wyndham to bring some life back to it that it probably lost during the worst COVID years.

2024-05-29 22:36:56Great location. That is probably why it was so expensive. There is a pool but nothing amazing. Rooms were clean. Liked that they had a fridge. You have to pay to park your car as well

2024-01-26 19:54:42We stayed from January 21-24. The staff was very helpful and friendly but the hotel was old and worn. We were given a one bed room loft with a pull out. The bed was upstairs in loft. Being in our 70s that was not a good thing.PROS:…friendly and helpful staff…parking was good…being right next door to Trader Joe’s was nice.CONS:…long check in. One person to help five different families check in.…Room very dark and poorly lit.….shocking set up…inconvenient.…room smelled of disinfectant and old age.…bathroom downstairs and bed upstairs was not convenient.…shower controls were sketchy and lacked counter space.…downstairs tv took a very long time at come online.… one of the vending machines work after taking a payment.

2024-02-03 21:07:11Others have commented negatively on the age of the hotel and poor room quality/condition. We knew about this beforehand and it wasnt an issue. Rooms are somewhat dated but, hey, no biggie. Lots of hot water and room staff were helpful and friendly. The same can NOT be said for the front desk staff. Booked on Expedia for $166US a night. But was charged 1$66 for the 1st night and $177 for the second. We stayed a 3rd night and the desk clerk initially told me that the charge would be the same but was charged $197. Manager said this would have been clear to me on Expedia but thats not the case. He then claimed dynamic pricing is standard over the course of an already-booked reservation, but Ive stayed at plenty of hotel/motels and this is the first time after booking a room that Ive ever had the cost of the room escalate after the fact. Seems sleazy and notice that this hotel never comments on any negative reviews and also notice all the complaints about the front desk. The hotel is well situated but Id avoid it if you dont want to get in an argument with the front desk--the manager insisting we were in two separate rooms when we were clearly in one, the desk clerk making an error but remaining silent while the manager told me I was wrong. I rarely write such a negative review but Ive never had such a bad front desk experience

2024-03-18 20:55:58The hidden parking fee of $50.00 per day is outrageous! Also very limited parking, it was hard to find a parking spot once registered.Elevator out of service for some of visit but service elevator offered.Limited parking and roller carts.Positive note I felt safe, much visible security. Some staff were very friendly.

2024-01-26 18:01:20The hotel is very dated with popcorn, ceilings, and black carpeting. My only request was that my room be near the elevator. When I opened the door of the room, they gave me there was mud and feces, pouring out of the sink and onto the floor. They moved me to a second room. The second room had zero hot water because they said they were having a problem with the boiler. They then moved me to a third room, which was as far away from the elevator, as you could possibly get. The room had a bad odor but I stayed in it anyway. When I checked out, I brought all the problems to the managers attention and showed him the picture of my first room. He shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing he could do and that I was already upgraded in the 3rd room, so therefore, he could not give any discount for all the problems that I had. I will never stay in this hotel again and I was embarrassed by his reaction.
