The room was very small, and most of the overhead lights were motion sensors, so they would turn off every 5-10 minutes or so. The water in the shower would switch from ice cold to scalding within a second. The bedsheets had stains on them.The breakfast was mostly grab and go items - nothing hot. Microwave grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches, muffins and waffles in bags, fruit, and granola bars.The staff were all friendly and helpful, and provided us with any additional things we needed during our stay. Housekeeping switched out our towels every few days as well.

Overall experience was ok. Bed were comfortable but carpets would need a good real cleaning. Pictures of the hotel should be updated as theres no pool anymore and real hot breakfasts are not served.

Rooms are not clean, and if you complain, you better be ready to have the cops called on you because the staff cant take being confronted about how they run their establishment. Coffee grounds left in coffee pot, stains on the floor, and poop in the toilet. And had to have police come so j could get my stuff out of the hotel room as they also tried to call the police on us because we hurt their feelings. Police arrived, they made them open the door and i was able to leave, late for work of course . I usually stay at the ramada in Sunnyvale but they were all booked up. So though this place would have the same kind of service and quality, big mistake. I wish i had my money back!

This is a difficult experience to rate, due to some very unusual circumstances. When I pulled up with my partner and my 6-year-old daughter, there were 3 Mountain View police vehicles on the road outside the hotel. There were 3 more in the parking lot as we turned in. The office was locked, but the staff opened up for us to check in. We were told that there was a domestic issue with some long-term residents in the complex and that the police were talking to one of the participants. This was apparently not the first incident with them. We were told the response (which included a K-9 unit) was typical for the police.The room we were given (which was the only room with the 2 beds we required) was, incidentally, 2 doors down from where the police were deployed. After confirming with an officer that the situation was safe, he asked that we give them a few minutes to wrap up. 30 went by. The hotel staff was friendly and showed me an alternate way to the room, which involved walking over an unlit narrow dirt path between the building and the wall of the complex.A firetruck and ambulance showed up as well, as the disturbance had now seemed to become a medical issue. We were finally escorted by an officer to our room. Of the 2 beds, one was obviously slept in and unclean and there were used towels on the counter. I went back to the front desk and the staff came with me to the room and was surprised to find that it had not been cleaned. He left to see what options were available. After a few minutes we were offered 2 rooms (one for free) to accommodate us. We declined and were instead provided a full refund without fees.The good:-The location is very convenient-The front desk staff really was quite helpful and very friendly-Had the room been clean, it would have been perfectly adequate, albeit a bit dated-The police officers on the scene were very professional. Once the situation was explained to us, we did feel comfortable staying.The bad:-As other reviewers have pointed out, the Google listing is out-of-date and there is no longer a pool (this was a big one for my daughter)-There certainly seems to be a housekeeping disconnect where the staff is unaware of the status of rooms-Allowing long-term residents to stay who have had prior incidents requiring a police response is (to me) a baffling choice. Im sure there are other factors involved in the decision, but pulling up to that was a horrible first impression and immediately made us question our safety.Overall:If we had arrived at probably any other time and been given a clean room, I would have little to say aside from the pool not being as expected. You can try your luck if on a budget and hope for a better experience and, honestly, I suspect you would have one. Front desk service is 5/5. the 3/5 rating is reflective of the failure of housekeeping. The 3 stars off for the room are purely for cleanliness.

Somewhat convenient for the Google campus but otherwise a pretty basic motel with little to recommend it. A little run down but clean and everything in working order with no major issues. Perfectly acceptable but nothing special.

I’m giving two stars because the front desk woman was kind and tried to help us but they 100% need to fire their whole housekeeping team. The first room we got was filthy hair everywhere dirt everywhere the sheets were not washed and no one can convince me that they were. We let the front desk know so she happily gave us a second room and it was WORSE. Thankfully they refunded us and we went elsewhere to stay there was no way I was staying in dirty used sheets with unclean toilets, etc… I am a housekeeper myself and this was like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

Stayed here for a night because it was only a 9 minute drive to shoreline amphitheater. We were close to a couple connivence stores as well so it worked out nicely. Looked tidy, and the breakfast was nice.

I was there for work, and as a software engineer Wi-Fi is most important for me but it wasnt working and the people at the desk just said theres nothing to do about it...If that matters to you Id check a different hotel.Besides that the room & breakfast were good, only wish Id known in advance about the wifi issue or they wouldnt falsely advertise it.

I was expecting better for a Wyndham branded motel.The lobby was blocked off and despite my efforts to open the door, it was locked. Only later did I see a small sign directing me around to the side of the lobby. My first contact was through a small side window and I could not hear much of what was said during check in. I was handed a sad paper bag with a frozen meat and biscuit breakfast for the next morning. I didnt eat it.The room was big enough, but dated and worn. The plastic flooring in the room was very dirty. Beds were good and clean though. Towels were very thin. Toilet didnt flush unless you held the handle down. In fact, towels and some soap was provided, but thats it, not even a couple of paper cups were provided.Outside my room, was advertised a gym, but sadly it was locked up. The room was very dirty with an old mattress, some random furniture and a lonely dumbbell lounging by the door as if it was trying to tease me.Beyond the abandoned gym, was the now re-purposed pool area. This space that once echoed with the sound of splashes and the excitement of kids in the water now was a dreary patio area with a few vacant chairs and table scattered on the now filled in pool.All in all, I just felt sad for the owner, staff and my fellow guests by my stay here. I felt like the motel went in mothballs during the covid shut down and has failed to reopen. It was just a sad stay.

Close to where I needed to be. Rooms are dated. Not restocked for the second night. Lobby consistently locked, needed to transact through outside window during rainstorm weather. Found two cockroaches in room second day. Very disappointed!
