Really should be 7 stars.I first purchased here in about 1988. About $6,000 for 386 computer w 2MB, laser printer and 24in monitor.In the nearly 40 years since, I have always been 110% satisfied!I send my friends and associates here. None have ever had anything but 100% satisfaction.No longer live in Los Angeles, but still shop ONLY here to be sure of being 110% satisfied.

I bought a refurbished laptop off amazon and received one with a failing hard drive. It failed before the return window had even closed, but I didnt feel like going through all the trouble of returning it and then having to look for another one. I bought a replacement hard drive myself but I dont have the time to sit and learn how to take this thing apart properly, so I looked up computer repair places in the area and came across R Tech.They were friendly and polite when I walked in, gave me an accurate quote, and had it done overnight, along with reinstalling the OS and letting it go through all the required updates. (I came in about an hour before they closed). They even spelled my name right, which impressed me because everyone always gets it wrong.My dinky little laptop now runs WAY faster than before and is no longer overheating while just idly running, so either the faulty hard drive was REALLY weighing it down or they did some extra cleaning while they were in there! (maybe a bit of both?)Front street is metered parking, but there is a back lot down the alley where its free. At the time I went (Spring 2024) its got to be the cleanest, most well paved alley Ive seen in this area.

Roger and his team are amazing! They have been helping my mom and dads business for a very long time. They set up all the office computers and are always a phone call away whether it be setting up software, getting people signed in, or when anything goes wrong. They fixed my brothers gaming pc and today fixed my desktop in a little under 5 minutes because the fan was broken. I thought they would have to order the parts and I wouldnt have it for a week but they had them on hand. We go to them for all our computer needs. Very knowledgeable and approachable group of guys!

Ive been going to R-Tech for several years now, and theyve consistently been great. They do solid work and their prices are very reasonable. Ive never had them try to push stuff on me like some other places, and I never feel gouged. I have no reason to shop around anymore - R-Tech always takes good care of me.

My desktop Lenovo was acting up---running slowly and refusing to connect to several standard websites. I took it to R-tech early one morning and Roger told me he should have a diagnosis later that morning. Other places I have used often took days to get to my computer. Turns out I needed a new hard drive and Roger recommended more RAM. He had to order a solid state hard drive, but it was delivered the next day and within 48 hours of my call I was up and running with a faster, more efficient computer--all for a reasonable price. Roger gave me an estimate regarding the new Ram, hard drive and labor. He hit it almost exactly. This will be my go to shop for computer problems.

This place is amazing. I was so worried that my computer was completely dead and that I may have lost a ton of work. 15 minutes after walking in, my computer was fixed. They told me what to look out for and gave me an idea of what I may need to fix/replace in the future. What a relief!!! Fast, friendly and honest!!!

Been using this company for 15 years for the 6 computers our business runs. We purchase and have them service all the computers. They are truly our saving grace. It theres ever an issue, they can come on remotely and solve it in seconds. If we didnt have this expert and personal service, we could not operate. Its a few dedicated employees who we know by name, in addition to the owner, Roger.

One day, my computer decide to stop working, I lookup online to find the computer repair services close to where I live, and I found R-tech, with a few great reviews from yelp and yahoo. I called them up, Roger and his co-worker (Tim) fix my computer right away, resolved a few problems, after a few months, I have R-tech to set up a new machine for my work, since I have so many drives and kinda complicated setup request to them from the old machine to the new machine. Roger and his team did a detail job to get the new machine working exactly the way I wanted it. After I pickup the machine from them, within hours, my new machine is working smooth and fast. I will use R-tech for my next purchase. I am glad I find them in the area with great services. More important, reliable services.

A guy named Eric fixed my laptop after the HDD started having issues. The pricing was fair enough and Eric was helpful in answering questions over the phone. He also reinstalled some software I wanted, which saved me some time once I got the computer back. The only downside is turnover time; they seemed to have a lot of work, and I had to wait just over a week for the repair. Their estimations for when Id get the laptop got pushed back a couple of times, so I ended up borrowing another computer for far longer than Id expected.Overall it was a positive experience, and Id recommend them to anyone local needing out of warranty repairs.

The staff here treated me with respect and were completely honest with me regarding what the problem was, how much it would cost to fix, and how to avoid the problem in the future. Great worth ethic in my opinion!I couldnt figure exactly why my computer was crashing, I had a general idea of the problem but didnt know how to fix it. So, I took it so several repair locations to see what can be done. The big electronics stores wanted $100 right upfront, not including repair costs, and would charge me more per day. I went around a looked at other options, and many of them looked sketchy, or were being very dishonest with me about what the problem might be.At R-tech I was greeted with a friendly face, I was given an honest explanation as to what the problem was, and was told the ranges I could be looking at, which; were very fair compared to others. I was kept in contact regarding the status of my computer, and was asked before they proceeded with a repair.Overall it was a quick, and pleasant experience. 10/10 would use again.

R-Tech has been my local go to computer company for many years. I recently purchased a laptop from them and I am very pleased with it. When my computers act up R-Tech is where they go for repairs. I have nothing but good things to say about R-Tech. 90% of the time, my problems can be resolved with a phone call or by remote connection. Their prices are very competitive, and Roger will even tell you if you can get a product cheaper elsewhere! I have been a customer for at least 15 years, and always recommend R-Tech to my friends.

Roger is a genius. He was amazing today and fixed my router problem remotely and within 3 minutes! Several years ago I purchased a Netgear router from Frys, Yesteday, the router portion stopped workinging. This means that all of my wireless computers and TVs, etc would not connect to the internet. And although it is covered by the Frys warranty, I could not get their tech support to help...and last time this happened, I had to spend 5 hours talking with India!This time, I called Roger....and after explaining the problem, he logged into my desktop computer remotely, and within 3 minutes (honestly), Roger fixed the problem!Amazing! Although we have purchased all of our PCs from Roger, I didnt buy the router from him and didnt expect him to help me. But, he did - and he fixed it immediately - he is amazing!.

Around 1997, I first heard about R-Tech from a Frys salesman who gave me a tip that R-Techs prices were lower than Frys. I have used R-Tech ever since. They provide the five computers I use in my office and the six computers I use at home. Unlike Newegg or the other big internet suppliers, I can pick up the phone or drop Roger a line and pick Rogers brain about any software or hardware issue, and his level of help is just as helpful and consistent when I have not bought anything for two years as it is when I have just purchased three systems. His shop stands behind every system he sells. Whether you are a seasoned technogeek or newbie whos buying your kid a system, you cant make a better buying decision than to choose R-Tech.

Roger is a stand up guy, My laptop needed a power supply that he didnt have for sale but he let me borrow his bench power supply until Ive ordered one, it took mine almost 3 weeks to come from chine, he would not accept any money for the lender, even though I offered.
