My custom Desktop gaming rig got smoked in a power outage. But they were able to help me fix it by upgrading to an NVME boot drive as well as referring me to someone who could recover my data off the cooked SSDs. My computer got locked up and was screaming at me. I took it to Quietech, and they instantly fixed the problem within 30 seconds. They didn’t even charge me. They gave me a pamphlet of how to fix it on my own in case it ever happens again. How amazing is that!

These people are so amazing. I was saying goodbye to my Windows 7 (🤣) desk top that finally gave up and moving to a new Windows 11 lap top that is my work computer. It was a Friday and the soonest they could give me an appointment was Monday. I got a call that same day that they had a cancellation-knowing how important it was due to my work load. Each and everyone took their time, were professional, know their business and were very accommodating. Computer issues are very stressful for me and they were both reassuring and fixed everything! Also were not terribly expensive! I highly recommend them and will be a repeat customer without hesitation.

In 2020, Quietech Associates offered a workshop regarding online password safety centered on the LastPass Password Manager and App Vault. As the Chamber handles sensitive personal and financial data, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about this new platform. A staff member and I attended the workshop and I immediately subscribed all of our users to LastPass Password Manager and App Vault.Its an incredible application, and along with the Malwarebytes Cyber Security program that Quietech Associates installed on our computers, weve been able to avoid computer catastrophes! Needless to say, were very grateful to Melissa and her fabulous staff for providing us with premium online safety tools.

I am so pleased with my experiences with Quietech. I have used their services – both in-house, and now today via remote – and I can’t say enough about their service. Niko was able to quickly figure out why my Outlook emails weren’t syncing, walked me through the steps, explaining, in a way that a non-tekky like me could understand, and quickly resolved my issue. He was pleasant, knowledgeable & professional and went the extra mile. I have also had the same positive experience in the past when my hard drive crashed and Quietech was able to restore my data (and most importantly my pictures!) and get my computer working again! The administrative assistant that took my call was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Quietech for all of your computer technical needs! Cant say enough positive about my experience with Quietech! For some time I was enduring an old computer which was pretty nonfunctional and beginning to crash and lose my data. I did that because I was hesitant to replace it due to my fear of having to deal with all the data transfer and learning a new device. Im a retired Social Worker and my brain is not wired for tech!From the moment I walked into your office and started working with Gavyn, I felt very confident in buying a new computer and going through the transition process. Gavyn patiently listened to my needs and concerns; with that in mind he helped me purchase a new computer & monitor. He continued to be very supportive when I took in my computer for the data transfer. He kept me updated on his progress and when completed, went over everything with me in your office.Will then came out and set everything up which I was especially concerned I could not do by myself. He got everything up and running to include organizing my desk to be more efficient!Both Gavyn and Will are very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and understanding towards customers. Our local business has used Quietech multiple times for an assortment of reasons. The staff and technicians are positive, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable.We have found them to have high integrity. They are not quick to charge you for repairs unless they are needed. A couple of times they have issued a quick fix and sent us out the door with no charge at all.We have sincere trust in them.

Recently took a laptop in that I got from a friend of mine into Quietech, they were able to quickly diagnose and inform me of the issues it was having, and I got my laptop back in a couple days running like new, and at a price-point I was able to easily afford. I can see that these guys are straightforward, honest and reliable, and they will get my business again in the future should I ever run into any problems with any of my computers.

Encountered a Blue Screen of Death on my Windows 10 Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 laptop after a boot up to a prior restore point as directed by Microsoft tech support. Quietech expert recovered all my files and restored my operating system in one day, as opposed to shipping the warranted laptop off to Texas, waiting 3-5 days, and then shipping it back, 2 weeks.... I love these guys! Every single time Ive had an issue, theyve been absolutely wonderful about helping me, even just over the phone! They were honest with me when I took my old, outdated computer to them for fixing - they didnt charge an arm and a leg, rather told me that it would be money down the drain to fix it. I made a huge mistake and took my IPhone XR to Cracked wireless in downtown about 6 months ago and had been having random issues with my screen ever since then. I knew when I walked in there that I had made a mistake but I thought would give the guy a chance to do a good job and he failed to say the least. After taking my phone to Quiet Tech today I found out that (Cracked) never put the moisture barrier back in the phone and hadnt set the screen in tightly/correctly so that’s what was causing my issues. I had the phone in my bathroom while I was in the shower yesterday and the moisture from the steam got in my phone due to not having the moisture barrier and it started malfunctioning again. This is my work phone and is basically has my whole life on it at this point. Also if the phone breaks under my care I have to pay for a new one. Anyhow I called Quiet Tech today and although they were out of new replacement screens he had me come down to at least see if we could try an old cracked screen they had lying around to see if the phone would still work or if in fact I would have to buy a new one. They got my phone working again and we’re able to explain everything that the other store had done wrong which was outstanding. There is a lot of tech in these phones and they were able to explain every detail and help me understand what really happened. He sent me home with a cracked replacement screen today but at least my phone is working and when they get the new screens in tomorrow or Thursday I will be going back into get it fixed good as new. Anyhow they basically completely saved my A** today so thank you quiet tech!!

We purchased two computer systems in the last year. These guys are as professional as they are cordial. Very fair and very honest. Most of all, Very Knowledgeable and Helpful. Quietech is an asset to our community!!Need to add: A few months ago Samsung did an involuntary system upgrade that resulted in lost date, contacts, etc. ATT (where purchased) call their techies who could not help. ATT then called Samsung who could not fix the problem. Took my phone to Quietech. YES!!! They solved the problem. Phone is normal now.

The owner has extensive background and experience, she is able to address some of the most complicated issues and does it with seemingly no effort at times. I took my laptop in a while ago and wanted to get information off of my old laptop to my new laptop. I was quoted a pretty high price almost 3 times higher than other quotes but was promised they would do so much more than the other guys including changing my email address because Ireally needed to have that done. The professionals at Quietech are top notch! Our office was having problems with three of our computers, two PC’s and a Mac. The PC’s (one is brand new) were running very, very slow. Even after we had them worked on by another company! We were referred to Quietch and we were not disappointed. We made an appointment and Melissa came out to our business to look at our computers on-site. She followed the states guidelines regarding COVID-19. She was friendly and professional and figured out the problem with both of our PC’s in a matter of minutes! We were both impressed and relived. She then took our Mac, which has crashed, back to her office. Another employee, Andrew, worked on the Mac in a very timely manner. He diagnosed the problem, communicated the issue to us, and had it fixed that same day. He was fast and professional. We were thinking that the cost of repairing all three computers would be expensive but their prices were very reasonable! We will never go anywhere else. They really know what they’re doing! Scheduled appointment for 10:30-12. I was required to pay for the appointment at the time of scheduling. Showed up at precise time only to be told that they would need to schedule another pickup time for me because they are closed betweenWhen I told the owner that I loved 35 miles away and had scheduled this time in she told me that she did not want to do the work. When I informed her that I had a full day and had scheduled this time, she was not the least bit concerned. All of this because they close between 12-1.In response to Melissas comments-this has absolutely nothing to do with covid. I was given an appointment time. I was required to pay at time of booking and I received a followup email confirming my appointment. There was nothing said about a return appointment. Yes, I became angry when it became evident that I had just wasted my morning and had driven 35 miles for nothing.It was actually productive though, because I walked into Cracked, also in Grass Valley, and they fixed my phone within an hour without an appointment.

The woman at the desk was so rude about waiting outside because she was helping a customer I decided to search for another phone repair service in the area. To my delight I found Crack’d Screen at 30% less than Quietech to replace the screen of my iPhone 7plus. $79 opposed to over $100 at Quietech. Both business are located in Grass Valley so shop around. I thought I would stay with Quietech but for the price difference and the woman with a poor attitude I’m taking my business elsewhere

I took a laptop in to try to revive it...and not only did they save my files, they made a less expensive recommendation that made the laptop faster (I was looking at a more expensive option at first). I have never taken my computer in to any business to get fixed because most of these types of businesses look like theyre run by unprofessional and in my opinion shady characters. Quietech is about as professional a small business as they come, IMO. And regardless what those others say or think, that DOES make a difference.

This place is AMAZING! The techs are unreal!!!I thought my iphone was toasted. Even took it to Verizon store and they confirmed. Could not turn it on. The owner took over from her father and has an entitled attitude. She caused many problems with my computer which she never fixed but still wanted to be paid! She was late for the appointment and didnt know how to do the job. One of her employees agreed. She also tried to sell me computer programs I did not need. Given her response in not knowing or having a record of customers that give her only a 4 star, and not a 5, many dont want to leave an honest review at all.
