The staff is TOP NOTCH and is always consistently professional. I arrived within 10 minutes of my appointment and was in and out of there in 15 minutes. The technician, whom Ive had before, is one of the best Ive ever had. Pleasant and able to chat briefly while attending to my test. The only thing I would change about QUEST is that I would put a sign in the waiting room for people to turn off the volumes of their phones. As I was waiting, there was the monitor, that was set up for the clients. Three different individuals had their phones on LOUD listening to music and watching videos. It was a deafening sound and not fair to the other clients. I understand that comfort is different for all people but I would try to make that a safe zone for others and ask gently to turn off their volumes.

My high recommendation is for this location only on Downey Ave in Long Beach. I live 25 miles away and the various Glendale Quest locations are nowhere near as efficient nor do they normally have appointments when I want them. Monica called me within 1 minute of my appointment time. She was courteous and professional and I was out in less than 10 minutes. Same as my previous lab visits. While I have to go about 10 miles out of my way to use this location, since I am a diabetic and need regular lab work, I will ALWAYS choose this location.

I drive from West LA too the Long Beach location on Downey Ave and have been doing so for over 4 years because of the on-time and professional services I receive. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. I always make my appointments online and Im in and out very quickly. I do miss them having people at the front desk but Ive gotten accustomed to it and do everything prior to my visit so the phlebotomist can use their time drawing blood not inputting information into the computer.

My visit went so quickly that my husband barely had time to park our vehicle and I was already coming out! The LVN was friendly, efficient, and I didnt even feel a pin prick. I had checked in online before coming in and it was really worth it, as I blew past a full waiting room. 10/10 for Quest!

Went to go get my blood drawn. was in the door checked in and waiting at 3:35. Miraculously they said no more walk-ins. If you aren’t going to get here way before closing (which 30 minutes is plenty of time) it’s not worth it. Save yourself the trip and go to another quest diagnostic. Went 3/20/24.

I made an appointment signed up online with a patient portal ahead of time which is really convenient. I had 6 blood labs and arrived did quick sign in sat down and was called in right away. Carlos the tech was super nice and understood Im a big baby about needles lol... I didnt feel a thing! 1st try found a vein it was painless I couldnt believe it! He is excellent! Offices were clean and up to date. I will use them if I have future labs! 👍🏻A+!*This is the Downey St location 😊

Incredibly efficient service from this place for blood work just come in on time or 15mins prior to check in on the spot or check in with your phone. I made my appointment for 9:30 and was out by 9:32. Had one pinch and two blood samples. Highly recommend this place.

Today my experience at this location was terrible. After checking in at 7:00AM and waiting patiently for one hour, I asked the receptionist where my name was on the list. She said we are not accepting walk-ins today. I went on to say how would I have known that if the KIOSK says to take a seat and wait to be called. I asked if she would put me on the wait list since I had already been waiting she replied no, you need to make an appointment (with a attitude). I asked to speak to a manager and apparently there is not manager on-site. UNBELIEVEABLE. This is my neighborhood location and have been coming here for years. I will not be coming back!!! The level of custom service I received today, no empathy what so ever. Not a Im sorry, we apologize....a little humanity goes a long way.

It is better than it used to be. It been years. No one manned the front desk but it was a kiosk to sign in with your drivers license. I made it in an appointment which is the best way to do it and I was in and out 5 minutes from my appointed time.

I have been going to this Quest Diagnostics location at least every 2-3 months for many, many years and I have always been pleased with the service. Unlike other people I have never had to wait very long and I always go on a walk-in basis without an appointment. 15 minutes is the longest I have had to wait & I think that is reasonable. The staff has always been friendly & professional when dealing with me although I think they could smile a bit more. A smile always puts me in a better mood. I am a nurse myself & although the staff here doesnt know that I have been able to evaluate their accuracy on a medical basis due to my profession & I feel they are doing an excellent job.

Appointment was set for 9:45 and when I showed up 15 minutes early there was over 20-25 people waiting when I talked to the receptionist she advised me that they were behind on appointments and that she didn’t know when they will catch up. If appointments are made then they should kept a lot of people like me work and have lives and that’s why we set up appointments. I’m not trying to be a Karen but I just don’t understand how someone can be rude when just asking how long it will take. People work I had to ask!

My daughter went to the Long Beach office for bloodwork and did not have a good experience. Front staff are non existent and it took her a long time to have someone help in providing a note for school. She said the person (black long ponytail, rainbow mask) that took her blood was rude. My daughter is 17 and doesnt know the ins and outs of bloodwork so she may not know what youre referencing regarding to the blood work order. Take the time to briefly explain and dont be condescending. Some adults have anxiety about having blood drawn, imagine a teen.

Excellent service. I got there 25 minutes before my scheduled appointment at 11:15am and there were only approximately 3 or 4 persons waiting in the lobby. 10 minutes later I was called and taken into the lab area and 10 minutes after that I was out of there. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this place.

Worst experience ever. Had my appointment at 1:10 got out till 1:42 bad service. The phlebotomist literally just left me alone in the room after calling me in 15 minutes later!!! So unprofessional. Another plebomotist skipped me and took on another patient.

AMAZING HERE!! Barely had to wait any time at all. Had a very embarrassing experience and the worked made me feel right at home and were completely open to my fear of needles. My employee was taking to me the whole time and made me feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend this spot.

If you dont want to wait 2hrs+, make an appointment online. Once you arrive sign-in on the tablets. The first time I came it was full and I waited about 20 minutes (made an appt. beforehand). The phlebotomist made the process quick and painless. My second visit wasnt as pleasant. I was called in fairly quickly but had to get both arms punctured because the phlebotomist forgot to fill one of the blood tubes. I didnt mind that so much, though I did get bruises on both arms and that was uncomfortable.

Depending on the time of day they can be very slow or very fast. Most of the staff r wonderful but some are extremely rude.It is located across from Lakewood Hospital in the Starbucks parking lot. It does have easy access and I havent encountered problems with the parking.

I drive extra just to come here. My mom loves Candy the nurse that draws her blood. No pain or bruises whatsoever. If you have an appointment they are super fast. The African American receptionist isnt the friendliest but is super fast and efficient. Again I drive past maybe 5 or 6 Quest Diagnostics just to come here.

First of all was unable to schedule an appointment online tried to call no answer. I’m currently am standing in what you call a waiting room your signs say take a set, where? Everyone is standing on top of each other. Then I’ve watched 5 of your employees come in after 8am they’re still walking in. The girl who takes the info, late! This makes no sense my daughter is a type 2 diabetic waiting to get her blood drawn. Try calling another quest no answer😡I work at an outpatient lab this is NOT how a draw station should be ran!!!

I dont like the fact that there is no one to greet clients when they enter. There is only a sign-in kiosk. What if you are not knowledgeable on how to use the touch screen? What if a person cant read? There should be someone at the front desk.

So I take my uncle to get blood work w appointment at 11 am. 11:30 he’s in- and out by 11:50. So we drive home 25 min away cause he hasn’t ate. They call me at 1:30pm saying my uncle needs to go back cause they didn’t get enough blood withdrawn from him. What the Heck!!!?? I figure they are a lab that is strictly for blood work and they should know exactly how much blood needs to be withdrawn for all the tests. So I had to drive from commerce, ca all the way here IN TRAFFIC!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! UNACCEPTABLE - we have work, things to take care of after a PREVIOUSLY MADE APPOINTMENT- for the staff to be too careless and make us go back to get more blood

Some staff seem extremely disinterested in the costumer service aspect of their jobs. I took a urine sample in and had a very difficult time figuring out the procedure for dropping it off. Most of the staff completely ignored me and others.
