I had a highly disappointing experience at this hotel due to the extremely poor customer service. When I checked into my room, it reeked of cigarette smoke despite the hotel’s non-smoking policy. I went to the front desk and spoke with Brenda, explaining the issue and requesting a room change.Brenda initially refused to change my room, citing hotel policy and claiming she couldn’t make changes in the system. This seemed absurd and completely unhelpful. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, and she showed no willingness to assist.What made the situation even more frustrating was her reasoning. According to Brenda, as per hotel policy, she couldn’t change my room because I had used the face towel to wipe my hands in the previous room, which now needed cleaning. This excuse was unreasonable and irrelevant to my request for a non-smoking room.After putting up a fight and insisting on a room change, Brenda finally relented and changed my room. However, the entire experience left a very negative impression. A hotel should prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its guests, and this encounter fell far short of that standard. I do not recommend staying here unless you’re prepared to deal with unaccommodating staff and poor customer service.

Even though it was a busy day, the front desk check-in was easy, smooth. Even had her nice smile, very refreshing for a weary traveller. Room was exceptionally clean, everything set for use. Bathroom was tidy, and a pleasure to have a relaxing bath. Pillows are comfortable, my wife being meticulous, gave them an approving thumbs up. She and I slept comfortably and cozy, the AC was on its best behavior. The next morning breakfast for a Friday, was quiet, outside was overcast and waffles!!!.Fresh, hot! Do it yourself and we did. Wash with steaming hot coffee, refreshing orange juice. Start a Friday right and ready. Quality Inn! Real Quality! Value for money, will definitely return, recommend.

Normally I have 5 stars across the board for my rooms here. This time I decided to use my points and get the room with the whirlpool. Unfortunately they gave me the room but someone had already broke the tub and so I didnt get to experience that part but baaaaby the rest was perfect. The staff always friendly and amazing on every level. Prime location for food parks shopping etc.

Everything was pretty good however There was no carpet which was fine. It was a nice tile floor, but it hadn’t been mopped in a long time. It makes your feet or your socks black. That was disappointing

Enjoyed my time there the staff was very friendly and welcoming the housekeeping was the best made me feel like family my 9month old was so attached to the housekeeper she was very helpful and helped when I hassled getting breakfast with my kids. The room was beautiful very clean and the pool was nice. Will be coming back again me and my kids had a good experience Thank You all🙏🥰

I always come here for my self care getaway when I don’t want to leave Vallejo or break my bank. Rooms are always clean. Staff is very accommodating and nice. There was a new lady training name Brenda she was really sweet and made sure I checked in with no problems.This location is by a couple shopping centers and a lot of food places so it’s the ideal location if you were to stay :)

Location great for six flags and plenty of eating options around, had seen reviews about break ins to cars so parked in view of a security camera and unloaded the car when we arrived and had no problems.Slightly slow service on check in but very friendly, rooms were spacious with some traffic noise.Thanks to all!

I am a gold member for Choice Hotels. However at this hotel when I got there they charged me a $200 deposit for the room.I asked how long it would be till it was refunded and she said 7 to 14 days on the card unless I paid cash.So I went and got $200 out of an ATM mile and a half away I was already tired and really just wanted to go to bed.When I got back to the hotel she informed me that she accidentally charged my card for somebody elses room. She said she re funded it already. So I couldnt use that charge on my own room. So instead she had to give her $100 cash deposit and pay for my room in cash.I told her that still wasnt fair because I didnt want to have to wait 14 days to get my other $84 back.She then called her manager who assured her that it would be back on my card beforeMorning.Well thats not true. Daytime manager says itll be 2 to 3 business days.I traveled from Minnesota to California to work. I am really stretched tight for a budget.The manager refused to give me cash back or comp my room.

After a 6 hour exhausting drive from southern Cal, I arrived to Quality Inn Vallejo,only to be rejuvenated by this beautiful hotel and the warmest welcome from Chloe, the lady behind the check-in counter. Initially, I planned on staying at a hotel in Fairfield. A hotel many would consider a fancier establishment, but this Quality Inn gives that other hotel a run for its money. Surrounded, by Napa Valleys rolling green hills, with horses grazing in the grass under a pure blue sky with perfect weather, this place has provided me with that feeling of serenity Ive been searching for on my trip. Thank you Chloe, you have single handedly restored and replenished my faith in great customer service. We could use more people in your field down in Southern California. Quality Inn Vallejo is a rip-off with idiot staff. They refused to refund my credit card for $290, that shouldn’t have even been charged.I paid in advance for 1 night, with $200 deposit. Same day, 1 hour later, I wanted to reserve 2 nights instead. The idiot staff didn’t know how to do that because it was 3 days before I wanted the room. I was told they would refund the 1 day(+)$200 deposit & just rebook same room, for 2 days instead of 1. The manager said I wouldn’t get the 1day(+)$200 deposit back because I cancelled that reservation.I didn’t cancel, the idiot staff cancelled because she didn’t know how to add the extra day. They also said I was a no call, no show when I was in the room for 2 days. I’m sure this doesn’t make sense to you either. PLEASE PAY CASH if you ever book a room at quality inn, Vallejo. WORST customer service in America!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have stated for a total of 2 weeks and have enjoyed the entire time. Irene was such a pleasure and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my family was always comfortable. Although some cars got broken into during our stay that is common here in the Vallejo area so we made sure to not leave anything visible in our cars. Altogether the stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

If your traveling make sure to keep your valuables with you. At this location daytime my Van and another vehicle was broken into right front of the office and bag, laptop and other equipment was stolen. Staff member was not helpful. Be careful and I dont recommend this place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!IF I COULD POST 0 STARS I WOULD! My vehicle was broken into along with multiple others! AND IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN AROUND EVERY 3 DAYS!! I fully believe the hotel staff is behind these constant break INS! My WHOLE families belongings were stolen! They even had a security guard ON SITE! The security made 2 drive arounds when we parked and I heard him talking to the front desk about us pulling in and being there..... (Which I thought was odd, but hey security, were ok right.....) NO! A terrible experience!! Horrible. Someone broke our car window during the night and no one was responsible. And 6 more cars on the same night!!! Terrible service, and no one was responsible in the hotel,and they didnt want to show us the security cameras either. A very insecure place, full of homeless. The girl who was there didnt help us at all, and the manager didnt give us any answer. Of course we wont stay the other night we had paid for and we wont ever be back. I never recommend them!!!

My truck window got busted in and they even busted through my trailer door (which would take some work and time).I was even told this morning that theft is a normal thing as they know where the hotels blind spots are.. and they dont tell customers to not be in them.. they obviously dont care and Ive read to police dont either.. so we will see what happens...

My parents lost their wrist watch and wedding rings when they left their room to visit places. Housekeeping can not be trusted. Front desk not willing to help. Manager is not available for 4 days. We brought up the issue to front desk on 11/3 but we were told Manager will not be back until 11/7? Horrible service. Not even a sympathy from the front desk. Now were waiting for the manager to show up on 11/7 which will be our check out day.

Terrible customer service except for one hotel rep who really tried to help us upon check out even though she was just coming on her shift after a leave, she really felt for us and all the issues we had and tried to talk to management on our behalf only to be shut down and told we as the customers were the problem! Otherwise, no one at front desk to help in middle of the night with broken air conditioner, put a handicap grandfather on the second floor after I called and requested ahead of time first floor and they said no problem and supposedly made a note, which apparently wasnt noted at all. Refused to provide extra towels for a family of 3 unless used towels were returned by us to front desk, so tacky. Do not stay here, worst management and facilities anywhere I have ever stayed.

This is actually one of the poor qualities of experienced. The breakfast was absolutely dismal It was essentially waffles and apple and coffee. It is next to six flags and you would think of catering to families; they didnt even offer hot chocolate, only one type of cereal. There were no proteins like eggs or meat. there was no coffee for the in-room coffee maker. Be warned they charge a $200 security deposit to rent to you!

Microwave and refrigerator, good price.BAD: Broken nightstand, resin all over the floor, Mary Jane, Bobbie pens, crumbs and other drug residue inside beds side tablesWalls were nasty, mold on coving, HVAC filters caked with who knows what, old used bandages on bathroom floor, fridge had so much ice build up it would not work, Microwave stunk like burnt popcorn, floors were dirty, TV stand door was broken, security cameras facing into room from side of building. No locks for windows to be open. Phone did not work, molded coffees packets, napkins were so molded. Huge gap under the door. GREASE film on desk and TV stand. Probably from someone cooking bacon or using an electric skillet. Cooking grease all over walls floor and furniture.Sure hope the cleaners would understand sick kids have to sleep in these rooms.Some just dont care. Others take pride in the job they do.GREAT LOCATION VERY QUIET

Guy who checked us in made us wait a good 3 minutes while he finished watching what sounded like a show on his cell phone! he pushed for cash deposit instead of card which i refused. the room had cracked ceiling and broken drawers. at the free an skimpy breakfast my girlfriend bit into a extremely brown inside apple. and the entire place smells like old mop water.location to dinning and park are only positives. $50 a night more than a cheap hotel but no different. based on my experience i am very skeptical of the 5 star reviews legitimacy as i cant believe anyone has that low of standards.

Pretty garbage accommodation. This is my second time in a Choice hotel, and the services are absolutely horrible. I understand it’s a budget hotel and things could go wrong here and there, but during the 2 days I spent here, I had to move rooms twice in 2 days coz something or the other wasn’t working.Wouldn’t recommend, ist not worth the cheap price and headache.

So I come to this place all the time because I live in Vallejo nothing but nice to these people and I had a nosebleed and as I was checking out they told me there was blood on the sheet made somewhat of a big deal about it. I didn’t know that I was supposed to stop blood from coming out of my body so I will never come here again and I gave them the $30 or however much the sheet costs. The younger staff are wonderful it’s the older Indian lady with the glasses on she apparently wants people to stop blood from coming out of their body And this lady knows me so I will never ever come here again

Close to Six Flags, and lots of restaurants. The saturday morning lady was super friendly and nice. If you dont want a hold on card for deposit you can give cash and they refund quickly. The pool was nice. I forgot they had a sauna. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast buffet was meager the day we were there. Wish it would have been as pictured. Rooms were nice and clean, quiet, beds very comfy.

The breakfast is terrible, I went to get a coffee, only hot water no coffee. I had to walk across the street to the Black Bear to get breakfast great place. I was staying here while my husband was in the hospital nearby. Ian helped me book the room and told me about the rewards program so I could get the benefits of my longer stay. He also happened to be the one who took my call when I called the front desk regarding the little elephant running back and forth in the room above me. I had ignored it for an hour but it was starting to really get under my skin.I thought he would just ask them to just stop the running, instead he upgraded my room so I was on the second floor, was able to have the whirlpool tub and be able to work more comfortably during the day while I waited for my husband.Ian went anluve and beyond. Thank you for making a stressful time more manageable if not enjoyable.And the pool is heated! Wonderful way to relax at the end of the day.

So I think it’s the best hotel in Vallejo. It’s close to food places, the hotel is always clean, that includes rooms and the staff has always been really nice. I have been coming here for two years and never had a issue. There is a pool, breakfast in the morning and free parking. It’s in a safe area and has everything you need within walking distance…CVS, Chick-fil-A and chipotle.

There’s a lot to do around you. Lost of shopping and food. The only thing I have to complain about is the safely… I stayed here for about a week and I could only lock the door just from the latch. I could not use the door thing because is was not secured into the door frame. You could open the door with it being shut! It always made us scared at night to sleep knowing it wasn’t fully safe

We always stay here for the central location. They are customer friendly and site is good. Rooms are clean but nothing special. Rooms are Musty but it is California. Used to have a pretty nice breakfast. But not much anymore. Great coffee. No bagels, eggs, sasage or fruit anymore. And a bit in the high side of standard price wise.

Stayed the night and it was great. Bathrooms a little small but the bed was super comfortable. Many pillows. There was even a reclining chair lol. One lamp in the corner of the room didnt work tho but the other lights and lamps did. 10/10 stay. Other guests werent loud. The bedroom was comfortable. Would definitely book it again. Only reason this was given a star is because I can’t leave a review with 0 stars. To start, all the rooms had a posted sign that states no cigarettes allowed, yet the room right next door to us reeked of the smell of weed. 2 nights in a row, the fire alarm was pulled, and that annoying alarm woke everyone in the hotel up, and staff had no idea how to resolve the problem within a timely manner. The so-called “security guard” kept blasting music around 2200, and it would extend as far out as 0200, sometimes 0300. Perhaps, it might have been a “customer,” but the hotel did nothing to stop whoever was playing that loud music, and keeping customers awake for awhile. Oh and did I mention the staff? Not only will they charge your card without your authorization, but they were quite awful and it seemed like only 1 person was knowledgeable there (I didn’t get his name, but the middle aged man with glasses, night shift?). To name a few, Laura had a hard time providing customers with change without a valid reason.. With all due respect, she seemed like she was always upset if a customer approaches her, and it was quite hard to understand what she was saying most of the time because I wasn’t sure if she was talking to herself or customers. Quite possibly, the only positive take on this was that the room we stayed in was close to average, but we did notice a few insects crawling on the floor. Oh and no hot breakfast included due to COVID, it’s a to-go bag consisting of a granola bar and a frozen sandwich, with a water bottle, and the staff will not only give you an attitude, but throw it at you for even asking for one, and disrupting them from their cell phone usage during work hours. Be prepared for them to demand you to pay a $200 security deposit as well, which will be “refunded” in 2 weeks, even when you’ve paid for everything in advance. I advise anyone staying here to check for any miscellaneous charges on their card, or the security deposit not being refunded as promised. In summary, please do not book here if you don’t want to deal with a mess. For a Quality Inn, this was the worst one we’ve ever stayed in.

We stayed at Quality inn in January 2023. The staff could be the worst staff we have ever encountered. No extra blankets, sit and wait outside until exactly 3pm to check in, no breakfast food. There were 20 people in breakfast area who were all frustrated. Someone please take staff to service and hospitality seminar. WOW! Location is only thing hotel has going for it.

The room was decent & a big space (it was a suite) but not enough furniture, & it was on the second floor so the windows opened, that was nice. The space was pretty clean as well. Customer service checking out was great concidering they had to check the room so I can get my $200 deposit back. Checking in wasnt as great but I was not surprised. The front lobby and the carpets in the hallways need a deep cleaning, there was a flying insect problem right at the front door witch was not a great impression. The location is perfect pleanty restaurants, Target, Costco, Home Depot and countless other retail options are within a mile or two. Anything you might need while on a trip for business or pleasure is a short distance away.

We reserved a room in this motel coming back from a long flight into San Francisco. We chose this motel specifically because it was inexpensive and offered a view of Six Flags (it was 4th of July and we hoped to catch the fireworks show). We arrived at the motel around 10 AM, long before the 3 PM check-in time. Being exhausted and jet-lagged, We asked if they could possibly let us check-in early. The front desk staff was really forthcoming and worked fast to get a room figured out. By 10:30, we had checked-in and were able to relax in our room. A minor problem with the bath drain was quickly addressed by the staff.It was really nice and provided us a great experience and great value for our money.

Our non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and weed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the air conditioning didnt work well at all and the cleanliness of the room was questionable. The price was ok but the deposit they dont tell you about outs the price well over a nicer hotel. Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere!

This used to be our go to hotel when we came to Six Flags but it seems to have gone down hill a bit. We stayed there last Saturday night with other people in other rooms. One room had a remote that didnt work, so we figured maybe just needs batteries. Simple enough right? Called the front desk and nobody ever came up with batteries. We had 2 thermostats in our room and couldnt figure out which one was actually controlling the room temp, if either were. Our room temp was uncomfortable. The extra security door lock on top was not solid, definitely not going to keep anybody out. It looks like the door may have been kicked in at some point and they just tried to putty the door trim.

Awesome location few minutes away from the freeway. Cooperate restaurants and shopping centers in walking distance. We checked in June 10th - 12th. Upon are arrival we could see the hotel was more then full capacity . There was an older women that checked us in and she was beyond rude. My husband is a disabled veteran. We asked if they had a veteran discount (usually 10%). She responded that they do but she would not grant it because it was NASCAR weekend. I couldn’t believe it. I guess those how fought for our freedom don’t matter. Now let’s get to the room. There was a security latch that wouldn’t work. If you tried to lock it, the frame would start pull off.It made us feel very unsafe. The bathroom had a horrible odor and the floors were sticky. In order to connect to the Wi-Fi you had to agree to the terms. I wasn’t aware that I would start receiving texts everyday til this day regarding COVID exposure. I didn’t sign up for that!?! We live in Oregon and don’t need to know who has been exposed in California. Breakfast, don’t eat it. There are many fast food places and wonderful breakfast places near by. We will never stay there again. We support our Veterans 🇺🇸

These other reviews are misleading. This hotel is not located in a safe neighborhood. We are rubbed with six other cars while staying there and the staff were negligent about the security issues. Other staff said it happened other times since they had worked there. I would not recommend staying here. It is simply not safe. The security company isnt on duty throughout the night, the night auditor was supposedly in the toilet during the robberies, and the security cameras did not show any identifying features of the perpetrators. Be aware of significant safety issues.

We got a room here because of its location and stores around it. The room had a musty smell had cobwebs in the corner and dusty baseboards and looked dirty. The big disappointment was the bloody pillow. I took the pillow to the clerk up front and told him about the conditions of the room. All he did was try to show me the cleaning records. But i was literally holding the bloody pillow in my hand to show him. He said he couldn’t do anything about it. That i had to talk to the manager in the morning. My Mother and I stayed this past weekend on business, the front desk staff werent friendly very solemn. I am quite the gregarious person. I really liked the spacious room but the door frame to the door was cracked which was a bit concerning. I am an epicure and a javaphile but the breakfast was below average for two reasons, the eggs and sausage werent hot for the two days that I stayed here and the coffee tasted like watered down dirt. The front desk clerk that checked me in was slightly rude. She made us provide our IDs, credit card, and proof of hotel confirmation. IDs and credit card are standard, so that was no biggie. I have never been asked to show my hotel reservation confirmation. I asked her if she saw our reservation, and she said, yes, but she insisted that I get my computer and show her the email stating that we had a reservation there. The hotel had a sign up that said no mask, no service; however, 15 construction workers entered the premises while we were checking in and not one was wearing a mask. The clerk, (the same one who insisted that we provide a copy of our reservation) said nothing to the men about not wearing masks. (I will say that the morning desk clerk was very nice.) We got checked in, and went to our room. The TV screen had a black spot, which meant that no matter what we were watching, we saw a black spot. The remote did not work. I had to ask the front desk for new batteries. The new batteries did not fix the problem, so I asked for a new remote. The front desk clerk (the one that checked us in) told me that she would contact the maintenance person and get that fixed. She stated that she would contact us once that was done. She never did. They didnt bother to fix it. We had to get up and manually change channels. There are limited channels on the TV, so there was not much to choose from. The water temperature and pressure in the shower was a hit and miss. Sometimes it would not go beyond luke-warm, and other times it would be hot. Housekeeping was about the same. We left our garbage can outside the room, so that it could be emptied. They took the full bag, but failed to replace it with a new bag. They left an empty garbage can. The manager was a total jerk. We had the do not disturb sign on the door. A package arrived for us, so he decided to bang loudly on our door (we thought someone was breaking the door down) and leave the package at our door. The sound woke my husband up from a dead sleep. I jumped out of my chair when I heard it. If I put up a do not disturb sign, then I dont want someone banging on my door. The refrigerator in our room stopped working, so our food got warm. It sounded like a herd of elephants were in the room above us. At least we couldnt hear noise from people on either side of us. The area seemed unsafe. We saw all kinds of glass on the ground from broken car windows. At least the parking lot was well lit, but it was obvious that this does not stop people from breaking into cars. I think the managers actions were the last straw. We decided to go elsewhere, where the hotel personnel could respect our wishes to be left alone. I do NOT recommend this place at all. Go further into Fairfield or Napa instead.

I was recommended this hotel by a family member so I went into it with good intentions.They claim to be a smoke free hotel. The bathtub felt like it had several holes in it and was just quickly patched up with a seal that doesnt really seal. The sink didnt drain, the bathtub always drained. Just got back today 8/4 after a 2 night stay. The 1st thing we noticed when arriving the lady at the front desk was incredibly rude and seemed like I was bothering her to check in. Then we noticed the stairs up to the second floor were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in at least a month. Walked into the room and was smacked by a horrid musty smell that was so bad I had to go retrieve a car air freshener to try to help the smell. The room appeared clean but the smell said something different. The pool was smaller than expected but was empty when we went so not a big deal but the sauna that was advertised was locked and couldn’t be used at all. Breakfast wasn’t much more than a continental breakfast they call it a hit breakfast because they have a waffle machine but other than that just some yogurt and that’s about it...we ended up going out to breakfast rather than eat waffles. The location was great a lot of food/shopping in the immediate vicinity so that is a plus. I my 5 year old daughter forgot her sleep masks in the room so I called to see if they could maybe mail them to me because she was very upset about it and they told me they weren’t turned in by housekeeping and even if they were they couldn’t mail them even if I paid. I don’t know if I would stay here again the musty/mildew smell was enough to keep me away. Also we were supposed to have 2 queen beds and got 2 full beds, there is a size difference and my kids each sleep on a full size at home but the bed was at least comfortable not hard as a rock. Guess you need to weigh the good and bad yourself, just my honest review! And my husband just told me that he killed 2 roaches in our room he didn’t tell me when we were there because he knew I would have wanted to leave at that very moment...disgusting. He said 1 was in the bathroom and 1 was on the desk.

We arrived at 1130pm. The person working the counter was having a personal meltdown. I waited 30 mins to get checked into the motel. When getting into the room I found the room very dirty. I found what approved to be pubic hair in the bed sheets. It was obvious the bed sheets were not changed. On top of that there was cigarette burn holes on the beds comforter. My Truck Ford F250 was stolen at the packing lot within the hotel premises, but Vallejo Police Department tracked down the Truck but has become more or less a scrap. Its never a safe hotel for parking Trucks.The rooms are good, the service is good, the workers are ok. The worst thing there is the issue of THEFT. Theres this saying that goes, You get what you pay for. And there are no truer words when considering our stay at Quality Inn. Though, reasonable in price, our stay was not a pleasant one. For starters, we stayed on the first floor and the noise level from the rooms next door and upstairs was outrageous! I could see my car from my hotel room, and considering other reviews at other hotels nearby (with lots of cars broken into), i felt very safe. Not to mention, cameras all around the property. Showers and bathrooms were clean, need to be re-titled but they did the job. If you want a cold shower though, this aint it, as the coldest it goes is room temp. I had two 13 year olds, with me as well, and they were loud and the rooms stayed quiet on both side. The air conditioner being controlled by room is a safesaver. Beds were really comfortable, and bedding was soft, clean, light-weight, but also somehow warm enough to where i didnt need the extra blanket I brought. Everything was fantastic, my only complaint was really the shower, and the lock not being on conjoining rooms. Overall, the best I could get for the price I paid.

I have to give this Comfort Inn 5 stars for making me feel so at home. I planned to stay just 2 nights but, with the convenience of the location and the services G.H. and his staff provided me, I quickly added on 3 more days. I also had requested a ground floor room since Im 67 now and just couldnt carry my bags up and down stairs (theres no elevator). The guest laundry was just across the hall from me and daily breakfast was a welcome wake up each day in a separate dining room.I wasnt looking for luxury here but its clean, very comfortable and convenient to anything you could possibly want. I even had a wonderful, comfortable chair and matching ottoman in my room for relaxing at night with my crochet. And the housekeeping staff were always more than happy to give me an extra towel or a dab of spot remover!Many thanks to G.H. (he says his initials are easier than his name!) and his daughter for making me feel like I was coming home each day. It was an unexpected pleasure for someone a long way from my home in Massachusetts.

Great cheap place to stay if youre in the area. Its very close to many restaurants and stores including CVS making it very walkable and convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel offers free breakfast in the morning. Breakfast consist of make you own waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, fruit etc. Its simple but good way to start the morning. If youre staying I would ask for a 2nd floor room or a room away from the highway if youre a light sleeper. I would also ask for extra towels if your staying multiple nights as theyre not replaced daily.

This is in response to the business owners reply, starting that they would make things right, after no less than six cars were robbed. I spoke with the assistant manager and front desk person and both reiterated that they would do nothing to cover the expense of the window damage, even though I asked that they help only with a portion of the cost. I was told that they has zero policy for the night auditor to actually be viewing the security cameras, and clearly she wasnt. I was told on each occasion not to contact the police, that they wouldnt help. Im not convinced they will do anything differently and I maintain this is not a safe place to stay. In my years as a guidebook author Ive stayed in many hotels and Ive never felt as unsafe as at this quality inn. The inconsiderate staff only put salt in the wound, taking zero responsibility for what happened to a good portion of their guests that night, many with young children. I had to explain to my child why we had no windows in our car and that there are real life bad guys who must be suffering so much that they do things that hurt others.Dont respond online saying youll make it right unless you contact me directly and cover some of the cost of the window repair. Document and post on site that you have a policy for your security guard to be in duty throughout the night and your night auditor to be viewing the security cameras.

I am actually here right now in room 108, King size bed room. The hotel is being remodeled. Thats not a huge issue except the construction workerso are right next to me. I can here every conversation and foot step above and beside me. I can hear every door slam behind me to the hallway. My entire wall that the t.v., microwave, sink lights, and hairdryer does NOT work. No. T.V. no lights...nothing. I call to the front desk to let them know and the absolute only thing saving this place is the awesome woman behind the desk. The hotel is completely full and while I am upset, Im not going to take it out on her. She was very kind. A little over an hour from SFO. Stayed for 3 nights with my 2 year old daughter. Check in time is 3:00 but I arrived early and was able to get into a room within a few minutes. Would have preferred the top floor but with a toddler in a stroller and luggage I took the bottom floor because there are no elevators. I was disappointed with the limited cable channels as I couldnt find anything kid friendly for my daughter to watch. As another review mentioned, the bathroom does not have a sink. The sink/vanity counter is located outside of the bathroom which didnt bother me since it was just me and my kid, but would have found it an inconvenience if traveling with a friend or relative. The free continental breakfast was ok for a quick morning bite. They do have free WiFi and one PC in the lobby area with a printer which I used to print out boarding passes. Theres plenty of restaurants close by and a Target right down the street for any items that you forget to pack. This was satisfactory for the low price but Ill spend a little more next time and chose a place thats more updated and kid friendly.

Listed here are some, but not all, of the things that were unacceptable:As soon as I walked in the room, I noticed a smell of mold, and then I noticed ants all over the shower. I was able to borrow some clorox spray from housekeeping the next morning, however, the ants returned several times during my stay.The door to my room kept sticking and was hard to open.The shower water would not stay a consistent temperature my entire stay. During every single shower, I had to adjust the temperature every 2-3 minutes to keep it from being scalding hot or ice cold.Construction on the roof and in the hotel was very noisy and one morning I was startled awake at 5:00am (extremely disappointing since I had asked ahead of time for a quiet room due to noise sensitivity).The TV reception was spotty or not received at all.Then to top it all off, the morning before I left, someone tried to break into my room (ground floor). The front desk said they called the police, but I doubt it (I was informed that Vallejo had filed bankruptcy and the police were very slow to respond). When I got to the front desk, she said she was already reviewing the security tapes (what else happened?) and she thought she knew who it was - possibly a guy looking for his girlfriend after they had a fight. Does this make breaking & entering less of a crime. Not in my mind. When I checked out the following morning, I mentioned that the screen was still on the ground. Im not maintenance in a surly tone is what I got back. Getting a bad attitude from a hotel employee when my safety was at risk was certainly not appreciated. I will NEVER stay at Comfort Inn Vallejo again, no matter how much more money I have to spend.November 2016

Somehow shockingly you can hear people speaking Two Three Doors Down. Ive never been in a hotel in my life before where the walls were so thin and you could hear every sound. I was woke up at 6 in the morning by the neighbors talking. The breakfast was about as cheap and generic as could possibly be to the point that you shouldnt even call it a breakfast. There were no elevators that they were trying to build some and they were under construction but I thought carrying my suitcase down the stairs at my age that they should have somebody there to help until the elevator is in working order. I paid $30 more to stay here than most of the other hotels around thinking it would have been quality but quality is just the name and not their goal

The biggest issue is the surprise $200 deposit required even if you pay with a credit card - that was *not* disclosed when booking the room. This seems to have become the standard at Choice Hotels - and corporate isnt interested in fixing it by requiring the hotels disclose such fees on the web site. I travel more in the summer so I had not encountered deposits being required until June of this year (2021). Unacceptable that this isnt disclosed prior to checking in.

Customer service was great but didnt end up staying because the deposit was just rediculas ..$200 I dont even pay that at a 5 star hotel.

Room wasnt clean (in n out ketchup packages visible on floor, etc.), tub didnt work, poorly maintained. LOUD. Wont stay again.
