I have participate in research and focus group in the last 15 years or so. This particular research was pretty intense but they were great in preparing me and following up and making sure I felt comfortable. The compensation was generous and was paid quickly.
I filled out the automotive survey and received the $75 reward as promised. The survey took longer than the said, but the online payment was fast.
Participated in an online survey with my 5 year old in September. Took well over an hour and they had to switch several people on their end many times. We were patient even with this occurred and they didnt start on time. We were supposed to earn at least $85, and nothing ever came. My son was going to use that for Christmas money. I have reached out several times and still nothing. Pretty deceptive! Shame on them!Update: finally after posting the review I was answered. I was told that it was through a subcontractor and not Q-insights, but all the communication came from a q-insights email. They asked me to take down my review. I will still never work with this company again. It was not worth the hassle.

I experienced the same thing everyone else mentioned in their reviews ! This is why its imperative to do your research on a company before giving them any if your time ! I wish I saw these reviews prior to completing their survey. I was promised $150 to complete a survey and that survey was extremely long! Waste of time, and I never received a check, they continue to send me emails to do surveys, they can forget about that. How do you expect to sustain as a company if your reputation stinks, lies lies and more lies.
I was hesitant at first when they were doing the screening call. The lady I was speaking had tons of questions, sounded like a scam after all the questioning. I got disconnected after about 15 minutes, but thank goodness someone made a follow up call. I then went to the venue to do the actual automotive survey and focus group, and was impressed with how it was setup. It was very organized, they even have breakfast, snacks and drinks available. I would definitely do another survey with them if given a chance.

For some reason this is coming up as test Sharty I am Linda Finnick. I have participated in probably 25 surveys in the past 15 years and I can’t say enough about Q insites. I’ve gone to driving groups, many different focus groups for vehicles. I even found my Lincoln Navigator when I swore I would never trade my Escalade in, but the Lincoln navigator ( in best SUV on the road today) was at one of the concept cars focus groups. I waited for 2 years for the Lincoln Navigator to finally get built .Oliver was awesome and everyone there is so nice. They have always paid me cash in an envelope when I leave the focus group the last time I got a visa gift card of my choice when I got home. They pay extremely well, and it is well worth going down there for the money they pay. Always looking forward to doing the next concept car focus group, to see what new car I may purchase next.

Q-Insights is an on pointe market research company with quality focus groups. They usually pay incentives with generous online gift cards, and quickly too. Just an fyi- they have relocated to 15400 Sherman Way Ste 400 in Van Nuys. The building is nice, validated parking, right off of 405 fwy. Is good area, and still worth the schlep. Q-Insights was conducting research for BMW Intl. I had recently purchased 3. I was contacted by Q-insights and compensated extremely well for an easy 2 hour zoom call. I used the funds to purchase an air conditioner for a pet shelter that didnt have one.

Just did a grocery study and was paid $200on a virtual visa card I had a nice time doing the study I cant remember the guys name that did the study but he was very nice and I enjoyed doing the study with him and hearing different opinions about grocery shopping it took a little longer to receive the incentive I guess they had issues with their system that I didnt get payment on time I would like to do another study with this company in the future.
Complete scam. Emailed me about an automotive focus group and said I would be compensated. Had me on the phone for over 30 minutes getting answers to their survey and scheduling an appointment for the focus group. Called the next day and said they made a mistake and cancelled the appointment. Should have gone with my initial instinct and deleted the email. Scam artists. Will be reporting to Better Business Bureau.In response to the Response from Owner below: The screening call took 30-45 minutes and the only reason I went through it with you is because I was told I would be participating in an event that would pay me $400. You use this supposed payment as a carrot to get the information you need without any intention of paying it = SCAM.
I have always had a good experience with Q-insights. The people have been friendly and explain everything thoroughly. I have never had issues receiving compensation either. This last experience I received a digital Visa card the same day. I hope to be able to participate in more studies!
I cant understand the negative reviews. I have done a number of surveys for Q-Insights and have found each study to be a positive experience. I was always paid promptly and never had to call for payment. The one in-person study I did was so much fun as well as interesting. I would do another one again in a heartbeat. I was asked to participate in an auto survey for money. The process in scheduling the survey went very smooth. They gave some date options which met my needs. The survey went smoothly and took place in nice environment with refreshments. The proctor of the survey was extremely friendly and professional. The length of the survey was as promised. I was told I would be paid in 2 to 3 weeks. My check arrived in 2 weeks as promised. A well run organization.
Participated in a paid research study that required the purchase of the product. Over the course of 3 weeks I bought, reviewed and completed the required questionnaires. LuLu said I would be compensated within 2 weeks of completion. After 2 weeks I emailed them and never recieved a response, payment or reimbursement for the purchase price of the product.

I guess I should have listened to everyone on the internet. Rolled the dice and did their survey. Here we are 5 days later and no payout for anything. I have no one to blame but myself. Like they say, if it looks to good to be true it probably is. They steal your time and promise money for it and never deliver.
I just completed a relatively long study with this company. They were very thorough and responsive through every step of the process. I was paid less than ten days after completing the study. I would have been paid sooner, but some technical difficulties (with lots of notice from the company) caused a minor hiccup. I would be happy to complete another study with them again.
Good studies but often times u cant get a recruiter on the phone. They dont return calls and sometimes do not book correctly. The studies they have are mostly interesting and fun to complete. Incentives are good.

Got an email for a paid fee for test driving a new truck asked for my contact info. Sent it to themgot a call right back. Promise a paid survey. Said they has to ask some questions. Asked at least 2 dozen questions. I asked if it was a scam mid questioning . She said after the questions they would schedule the paid test drive. After answering all the question and the last question was when you purchase another truck, I own one now, the question was if I would be purchasing a new one or a used one. I answered used one because of the new car shortage then she said let me out this info in the computer, should have taken minutes, then after a few seconds she said my group was full and there was no paid test drive. I think they are looking for people that are looking to buy new and then they get you to do a test drive and try and pressure you to buy a car or it was survey information that they get paid for with the questions. Very dishonest and misleading.

I did a study in Denver which was almost a month ago. I emailed 3 weeks ago and they said checks would go out that week. Needless to say, I haven’t been paid. I’d like to know which client the mobile device study was for so I can reach out to them and let them know Q-Insights is doing them no favors in the reputation department. Pretty sure your client would want participants compensated timely since they’ve already paid Q-Insights.I showed up on time, participated as agreed and held up my end. Q-Insights, I’ll never participate in your research again. It sounds like those of us who have been screwed need to band together and start a class action lawsuit in regard to your bait and switch study practices. I wish I had read these reviews prior to agreeing to work with them!

I own a few Tesla products and Ive done several reviews for Q-Insights about Tesla and Ive generally enjoyed the actual reviews themselves - I wouldnt call them fun and sometimes the questions can be a bit strange, but they are interesting. I have always been paid as promised. A few times Ive had issues with the reviews - like I misunderstood a question - and Ive reached out to Q-Insights to get the mistake fixed and they have always been very responsive.
I’ve recently been in contact with Oliver who was really patient and understanding during some technical issues I had with a link. Each time he was quick to reach back out and make sure things were working correctly. I would defiantly recommend this company going forward to people I know.
I have participated in a couple of Q-Insights surveys. These were pre-COVID experiences and in-person surveys that were very extensive. The first one lasted about 5 hours where we looked at multiple pro-type vehicles. We then broke out into small focus groups to dive deep into the subject matter. Needless to say, I was very impressed by the exposure of the subject and the follow up questions/discussions.I think Q-Insights will give the respondent an in-depth exposure, and therefore their client very good data regarding the particular study.I would volunteer for more of these studies in the future.

Completed A very extensive study in FEBRUARY. Was originally sent an email that the check would be sent March 17. After nothing and MULTIPLE emails was sent another generic email that they’d be received no later than may 3, here we are may 4 and multiple multiple emails later and still nothing . I’d recommend never working with this company.
I was sent an email about a car study to which I responded to by calling their number. I was forwarded to a woman who claimed that we had a such a bad connection that she couldnt screen me for the study. I called from my cell phone and have never had that compliant before. I called today to be screened for the same study only to be told that the study filled up quickly and there were no available slots. Interesting how fast it filled up considering that they dont answer their phones, theres a constant voicemail that comes on, and it seems like their staff likes to play games on the phone. This place is a complete joke, theyve been sending me emails for years and I have not ever qualified for one study, not one.
They sent a letter to my house regarding my new Mini purchase with the enticement of $50. I answered at least 50 questions and then a pop-up telling me they had enough respondents (after collecting at least 30 data points). Untrustworthy - dont waste your time with the enticements of this shady operation - junk mail!
It was interesting to do this study and i enjoyed it..I was given the option to get paid virtually but I prefered to receive the physical card even though I knew i would have to wait for its arrival..No problem, all is good..

Received a call a week before the end date and confirmed to participate in a survey. Was informed I would be receiving another call to confirm and was requested best time to call back. I reached out the day before the end date as i didnt get a response. Was told that I wasnt on list even though I was confirmed from the previous conversation. I find this to be extremely unprofessional.

Dont expect to get paid and plan on them putting an agreement in front of you to sign that obligates you to pay $250,000 if you share any of the information that they show you or that you experience. They scheduled an appointment and then changed it on me. They are carpetbaggers and couldnt even provide instructions on how to get to the facility. Get ready for them to waste your time!
Highly unprofessional! They DO NOT protect respondents personal information and promote identity theft. This is a very, very, shady operation.Someone identifying themselves as an Q-Insight employee called inviting me to take a survey. After providing accurate information about their company and about my vehicle, they began asking for inappropriate information: drivers license information, date of birth, family members, etc. When I wouldnt provide this information the caller pressured me -- saying that I must provide the information in order to participate in the survey and earn $100.00.When I informed Q-Insight that it was likely someone armed with information from their database was endeavoring to steal respondents personal information, they were wholly unresponsive and indifferent.
I did a Shampoo and conditioner test study with this company that began maybe in November 2020 and ended in December 2020. Took a little while longer than I would like to get paid but they did pay and the experience overall was good.
Have done several surveys for them. Have no issues with them, survey is easy and good communication on what to expect and when to expect things. Have always received my payments from them.

Ive filled surveys; and got calls, answered all the questions, offered me a date for a home interview, then later just the say before the interview, cancelled it.I rescheduled my appointments for the interview as it was for over two hours I think.The first time, I said well, things happens, at least they called to cancel.The second time, same story, called ask 1000questions, gave a date, but not even a call to cancel.I dont know what to say about this company, just that they dont value genuine peoples time.They should value other time as they value theirs.Thanks

2024-05-03 21:42:23Im receiving e-mails again, despite trying to unsubscribe over and over again. Last time I left a negative review, someone reached out to me and fixed the problem, requesting I remove the negative review. I obliged, and for a short time the issue was resolved. The emails have started again. Let this be a cautionary tale: they will never stop the spam.

I would have given 5 stars had I not had to go through this process. Only thin that needs improvement is the communication between clients. Other than that the process was a breeze. 2023-08-05 23:18:04I’ve actually participated many times with Q-Insights. I’ve done online surveys, in person group sessions and one on one. I’ve also driven a model. They are very good at listening to your feedback and are very respectful. I found many of their research very exciting and of good quality so that it was worth my time. I find them reputable and always come through as promised in a timely manner. Either a check is physically handed to you after your live Session or it’s mailed to you after your survey. Other times you’re offered an Amazon gift card as an option too.Definitely worth your time to do this when you can as it’s a great value!

2023-08-05 13:36:09I have participated in 3 to 4 car surveys over the past 3 years. The surveys have been specifically about a model of car that I own and drive. I have never been asked to buy anything. Admittedly I am always a bit doubtful that I am going to receive the gift card that is being offered but I have never had a problem yet. There have been several types of cards to choose from and I always choose the Amazon gift card. If I remember correctly it has never taken more than about 7 to 10 days to get the email with the code to get my gift card. I would readily participate in another survey if asked to.

Always have fun and informative focus groups.They incentivize fairly, and even when they have more people they can use, they will pay you if they have to turn you back.Great company. Run by great people. Definitely recommend them. Im grateful to work with them when I get the chance to.

2023-08-04 00:17:03Have participated with Q-Insights for probably close to ten years. Very legit company. PAY ON TIME ALWAYS!!!!! My only issue is I dont care for Survey Monkey. It was better and easier to participate in their surveys with just a phone call now it seems like we (people who participate in their surveys get called less). That is my only complaint otherwise these guys are top notch!

2023-08-03 22:19:11I have completed two online surveys for Q-Insights based on my prior buying habits. They were both paid surveys. They took maybe a little longer than the time estimated to complete. I was paid within a reasonable amount of time by check in mail. I would complete another survey from them.
