One of the best PS locations Ive been to. The Customer service here is so great, they are detailed, kind and so helpful. Ive rented two units from this location and they are constantly trying to give me the best deal that fits my circumstance. My most recent attendant was Marco and he was great!

Oscar was great. He helped my mom change her email and let us know how we can make payments other than her coming in perosn. The workers here are great and have helped my mom a lot. Oscar was helping my mom in Spanish and it’s somthing that is great for her becasue she doesn’t know know English well.

Everytime time I come with my family to check out our space I love how clean this property is. The worker Nelly always greets us with a smile and makes us feel welcomed. I did a post regarding them raising their prices on my son’s storage from 148.00ish to over 500ish in one year. Yet, when we checked on spaces for new customers? A third of the price. So, you get rewarded for being a new customer and taken advantage of if you are a long time customer. We moved everything out. I posted about it from my verified Instagram account and Public Storage reached out in DM to “help”. We responded right away and never heard back. They count on people not having the time or resources to go and quickly move out before the constant ongoing price gouging.

I went to two other storage properties and they were either really expensive so such a little space or the person at the front desk had not community room skills.Not here though! Nelly is awesome. I would like to comment on the exceptional customer I consistently receive from Alice whenever I have either called in to the Saticoy North Hollywood location regarding my storage unit, or have had to come by in person. Alice always has a pleasant demeanor and helpful attitude and handles herself with the utmost professionalism at all times with her customers. I appreciate Alices helpful nature and hope she sticks around for a very long time and that all those on the corporate level is aware of Alices worth both as a staff member and human being.

Great service! I have reserved the unit online and just checked in. It was a very hot (over 100*) and busy day. There was a few customers ahead of me waiting but there was only 1 person who was working at that time. She was handling the business so well and tried to solve any issues and answered all questions she got. She even brought out drinking water for everybody. Everything went smooth through the whole process to rent the storage unit. The place is secured and clean as it is supposed to be. I strongly recommend to whoever need a storage unit esp. this location got my 5 star rating!

After a very stressful move that turned out I would need a storage unit for a short period, I went straight to public storage online. I had rented with them before in another state and had a great experience. This experience was no less exceptional! Within an hour of my reservation, I received a call from Raquetta confirming and invited me to come in asap to secure my unit that I needed that same day. When I arrived, she was helping a customer and courteously greeted me and told me she would be right with me, and consistently acknowledged me through-out my waiting. She was very thorough with the other customer but handled their registration quickly. When it was my turn, she explained everything that I would need to know and showed me to my unit to be sure that I would be happy with it. The property was clean/neat and well maintained and Raquetta was professional and courteous from the initial phone call all the way through my entire visit. The property is secure and well lit so I was comfortable returning later that night and will be continue to feel safe each time I access my unit. Great experience overall!

I just want to say that I am currently in the moving process and we all know how hectic that can be... However, today I went to the Public Storage in North Hollywood. Little did I know that I would have the best customer experience working with Alice and Orlando. I was having a hard time opening up my storage door and Orlando came to help me. Not only did he help but extended himself further with moving boxes etc for me. I am a small woman and didnt have my man with me but Orlando made sure I was taken care of. It is hard to find such great help but since I have been here I have always had the best service. If I have forgotten to change my acct information because I received a new debt card they would make sure to call me and remind me of my payment. If you decide to come here you will not be disappointed. Thank you Alice and Orlando!!!!

Horrible customer service. Dilapidated equipment. Do not expect any better service when their elevator is broken or their dollies are falling apart. The units are what you pay for, and the units are secure. There is trash everywhere. The customer service folks look tired, stoned, or both. They certainly do not care about anything other than taking your money. I would give this location less than one star of the app would let me. If you have to choose between this public storage and just leaving your belongings on the street, I would probably choose the street. If you are lucky enough to get that one good employee (Nelly), then you get good customer service with your broken down dollies and non-functional elevators.

The ladies at the storage place help me understand everything I needed to make my transition from the bay to LA so much easier. I spoke with a lady named Alice when I first called in. She got me all set up and when I arrived in LA she was there working to help me with all the ins and outs. Some of my boxes got damaged during the move and they had some there for me to purchase so that my stuff is protected, and when I get ready to move in my own place I dont have to search for more. These people are wasting my time. They made an appointment for me to go in at 230pm and then call me at 2pm to verify Im coming in. I get there at 220pm and theyre out to lunch. What kind of a business does that? I waited till 230pm I see a guy inside. I knock on the door and he just ignores me.Thats disappointing. The lady on the phone was nice. But they lost my money and any future business with them.

The staff is nice, the units, elevator, and hallways are dirty and beat up.The rates are pretty good but read the agreement as the rate jumped from $70 month 2 to $150 months 3-5 and then $195 in month 6.In general Storage is easy to get into but usually hard to get out of. People store stuff and wind up paying a lot more for the storage then the items are worth... in my opinion its better to sell and buy new when you need it then to store indefinitely.

I just want to say that the way the alley/drive way at this storage is set up is set at a slope, so if you park you have to hope that someone isn’t going to let a dolley go flying into your car. My car has not been hit once, but twice. The second time being today. My car was hit and no note was left, the workers will not tell you who it was for security reasons which I understand. But the other people who have storage units are so careless and don’t pay attention, letting the dollies go flying, breaking glass, leaving trash everywhere. So this review is just for anyone who has a storage here or that is interested in getting one, be careful parking anywhere here.

My belongings were damaged while in your companys storage at 12940 Saticoy St, N Hollywood, CA. I rented a unit at this location from June 19-October 19. I hadnt returned to the unit until October when I was vacating, only to discover that the unit above mine had been leaking something through the ceiling onto my property. I reported it to the manager on duty immediately, who suggested I contact the insurance company, which you recommended and REQUIRE in order to store things with you. They stated theyd be unable to reimburse me for damaged items because it was not due to natural disaster or vandalism. Upon contacting your regional manager, she said that while she could not refund the cost of the rent, she would at least get back to me with whether she could refund the cost of the insurance which is the LEAST your company could do. I NEVER heard back from anyone. I had to throw away a $1,000 couch along with many other personal items such as wall hangings and pictures that were stained and covered with an unknown substance. If I didnt care about the welfare of my belongings, I could have stored them in a friends backyard FOR FREE. Incredibly poor customer service and problem resolution on your end. I will never store anything with Public Storage again and I will suggest my associates avoid your businesses, as well. I wish I could give less than 1 star to this dump.

Ive kept my belongings at this location for a few years now. Ive seen the staff change. The great thing is that the staff changes were not noticable. This is good because it means thier customer service has stayed the same. The staff has always been kind, helpful and friendly.My lastest visit to the location had a little hiccup. I went there on a Sunday morning, I arrived 10 minutes before the office opened. I was having some difficulties with the gate code. I parked and was intending to wait until the office was open. A man came out of the office and asked if I needed help. I explained the issue. He welcomed me into the office where he proceeded to check my gate code. Then he explained in the steps to using the gate. It seems I missed one step. Lol.Chris, the man working in the office was very helpful during this visit several times.There are lots of storage places. The prices are all nearly the same. The staff at most storage facilities make you feel like youve interrupted their day. I have found from day one this location does not work that way. From in person to phone calls they have all been friendly, considerate, and efficient. They make sure you have all the information you need.

This place is just fine. Nestled in a nameless, industrial zone in the north of North Hollywood, it works the way a storage facility is supposed to work. The staff were very personable and helpful. Im writing to tell everyone looking for a Public Storage Space that the one located on Saticoy,off of Cold-water, is by far the best storage facility Ive done business with. Theyre staff is friendly, efficient, yet extremely personable, a quality that many other storage facilities sorely lack..whlie they are professional, you are not just a payment to them..with all the people they deal with, they actually remember you.. Also while they provide excellent security and protection for youre stored items, theyre not as intrusive as many storages are .they respect and give u your privacy. The location is dirty, smelly, unkempt location with holes in walls, trash in the stairwell- looks like someone living on location. The only cameras on location are in front at the gate and by the back gate. These cameras are only monitored 24/7 but this does not guarantee safety inside of the building.My belongings including my work laptop and Nikon DSLR Camera were stolen from my ******overlocked****** unit. I returned from trip out of town and a number of irreplaceable valuables were gone!!!When I notified the staff on site, they responded without emotion or feeling to contact insurance company. There were no investigations or apologies made by on site management. After filing a police report my lease was unexpectedly terminated!!!!!!!!!!!I strongly believe that this was an inside job!A FRIEND OF THE ON SITE MANAGER JAZMIN GOING BY CHAN aka CHANDLER IS ACTING AS SECURITY HERE... HE IS NOT STAFFED BY PUBLIC STORAGE, DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!!IF You are Looking for PEACE of MIND and SECURITY for important valuables:DO NOTDO NOTi repeat... Hello everybody.The Public Storage facility located at 12940 Saticoy street in North Hollywood, California 91605 provided superb--exceptional--customer service to me.Seriously, again, exceptional--very wonderful--customer service!The customer service relations I received not only when renting a storage unit initially but also when I rented an upgraded--more financially expensive and larger in size--storage unit so I could better organize and have greater access more easily to my personal possessions when needed was further enhanced with a smooth transition--no difficulties at all--between the two storage units thanks to Alice and Raquetta, the property manager and an employee of the Public storage company.Further, Alice and Raquetta throughout my whole Public Storage company experience at this location so far, it has been around 11 months, has been pleasant and simple. This concoction sure makes the process of relocating ones personal belongings from one storage unit to another storage unit in the same building as easy as dipping a reduced fat oreo cookie into milk in a cup and eating it. Delicious!!Thanks to Alice and Raquetta for the cheery, friendly, prompt, attentive, informative, organized, and time-saving ways when providing professional customer service relations to me whenever I have spoken to either one of them over the telephone or in-person at the store location.As an added bonus I do very highly appreciate the consistent upkeep and cleanliness of the Public Storage companys areas including the bathroom. This Public Storage facility is located at 12940 Saticoy street in North Hollywood, California 91405.In addition, everybody please keep the Public Storage company rental rates to rent any size storage unit(s) at the lowest possible financial price for the public. Who knows one day some unexpected or expected life situation could happen to you and at that time in your life money could be financially tight. All you maybe able to financially afford is a low but fair to Public Storage facility owner and whomever else as well as for the consumer a low cost public storage rental space in order to keep and to not lose your personal possessions. It has happened to me before in this lifetime. Yet, this Public Storage facility had a storage space rental I could financially afford that was no more than $104.00 per month for a small storage unit--5x5size-- including the mandatory insurance fee unless you have homeowners insurance that covers outside the home storage costs in case an unexpected occurrence happens.The Public Storage company at 12940 Saticoy street in North Hollywood, California 91605 has suited my needs.I suggest to everybody do not hesitate to try this public storage location to suit your storage needs if and when a situation in your life arises.Thanks again to Alice and Raquetta at the Public Storage company location at 12940 Saticoy street in North Hollywood, California 91605 for the consistent customer service experience in a wonderful way.Respectfully and Sincerely,Jackie Michaud on 10/31/2014.
