Customer service is horrible. My storage unit as well as other units had been broken into. Front desk agent/manager did not seem to care at all. They said someone had broken in from one of the units behind the storage from a small hole and then once they got in they started breaking into other units from the inside. The thing is I had large objects dog crate, record player, picture frames and storage bins filled with stuff that was stolen and could have not have fit through the small hole. They don’t have any cameras in the back of the storage building so I asked if they could check the camera pointing at the unit next to mine unit F10 because all of my items were scattered in that unit which was empty and all the large items had to have been taken from the front. I asked the manager when did the unit next to mine F10 moved out and he said it was still occupied. I told him that unit was empty and all my stuff was scattered in there. I asked if he could check the camera to see who was moving stuff out from that unit because if there’s a large dog crate then you will catch whoever took my items possibly as well as others. They declined and said they can’t check the cameras. I won’t be surprised if the staff was in on the break in. DO NOT RENT HERE.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received from Public Storage. My experience with the company has been nothing short of a nightmare. I was illegally evicted from my storage unit without proper notice served via certified mail and/or email. The lock on my unit was cut/changed without my consent, which I believe to be illegal.To add insult to injury, the lack of communication from Public Storage was appalling. I was unable to reach anyone in upper management to address my concerns. When I requested contact information for a supervisor or district manager, I was met with refusal. This lack of accountability is unacceptable.I urge anyone considering using Public Storage to think twice. The companys disregard for legal procedures and customer service is alarming. I will be seeking legal action to address the injustices I have faced.

Vaneesha and David were both so polite and kind to me when I walked in the door. And I was only there to price check for my mom. I could have done it online. But I decided to come in instead. They gave me some great info about their property and showed me around their lovely facility. I can tell they care greatly about it. I’m guna give the info they shared to my mom and let her know I think this is a great spot to go.Thanks you two for being so friendly and helpful. Dont ever rent from Public storage if you have a 9 to 5 job. This place shuts down at 6pm on weekdays and 5pm on the weekends. Ive had this storage for 7 years and yet Im not able to get things out because of the times they closes, for the fact that I have a 9 to 5 job and I moved to southern California so theres no way Im gonna make it unless I fly there. Ive had the storage before the closing time changed and I believe they did that so customers who cant get to theyre storage will end up giving it up and stop paying for it. Bad business

My mother has rented a space at the NH Public Storage for about 3 years. When she rented it, she was informed she had to purchase their lock. When we went to her unit in mid-September to help her move out, we could not access her unit because the lock was jammed. The lot attendant James confirmed this and advised she would be credited for the defective lock. A locksmith would have to be called to drill it out, which could take two weeks or more. My husband and I went to help her move out October first. Vaneesha informed my 79 year old mother she owes $140 for the entire month of October, since she didnt move out earlier, and would not be reimbursed for the defective lock. She didnt move out because she couldnt access the unit because of their lock. She is too elderly to move herself, so she needed help. Vaneesha then began typing into her computer that my mom refused to pay her unit rent. She would not give me a copy of anything, because she she said their printer wasnt working. I called their district manager Kody- Oct 2nd, 3rd and 4th, no return call. I called the customer service number multiple times asking for a return call from the Regional Manager, Devin Dance that would be within 24-48 hours still no response. This is financial exploitation of a senior, plain and simple. I do not recommend this company, if anything goes wrong, they will not help you. Instead, they play gotcha with the elderly, they do not operate in good faith, or honor their word. Beware.

Horrible hours 10-6pm. Besides the on site lady that lives there, the other staff are rude and pushy. Your bill is due EXACTLY 30 days from the last date . No grace period at all. 87$ for a 5x7! And they call the cops on you if your a minute passed 6pm or 5pm Sunday.Would rate less than 1 but not an option.

Amazing storage spot!! Best experience at a Public Storage ever (have been a renter on and off for years!) I was helped by Denver- she was lovely- so knowledgeable, professional, upbeat, and kind!! It was pouring rain, I was late for work and Id just moved to the area- she helped me feel right at home getting my things stored safely and quickly in a new town! She was even able to give me a great deal on the unit!! Its been a dream so far. This has genuinely been the best business experience Ive had in North Highlands thus far. I felt as if they truly cared about me and the safety of my belongings. Their security and monitoring system seems on point too- which was important to me in the event I ever visit alone. I went to the facility at 4900 Roseville Road Sacramento California were I was welcomed by Heidi and Taylor. They were very warm and attentive to all my needs took me out to see the storage space. Upon seeing it was much too small so they continued and found me the perfect size storage. As my belongings or being offloaded into the storage space we went back to the office to handle the paperwork they were very professional all the items that I didnt think about such as mattress and bags tape. As I left their office I felt very secure and leaving my items in their care. So in closing I would like to give a special thank you to Heidi and Taylor☺

They told me they had a 5x5 unit available for $60 or $70-something per month, and about an hour before they closed for the day I scheduled a reservation for me to pick it up the next morning. I show up the next morning, shortly after they opened, and the person at the counter told me the unit I reserved over the phone wasnt actually available, which means I drove more than 20 minutes with a car packed with storage bins, only to get bait&switched, and go back home with a car full of storage bins. They might have the best prices on storage units, but what good is having the best prices if the unit they tell you is available, isnt actually available? It was a waste of my time, and unless you have the time to physically go to their locations to ask them what they have, take your business somewhere else or do what I do and just save your money by keeping all your storage bins at home.They could give me a check for $500 as an apology for the inconvenience they caused, and I still wouldnt use their services because of how angry I got when the unit I reserved was given to somebody else AFTER I reserved it. Thats a horrible way to run a business. When you schedule a reservation, you honor that reservation. Period. No ifs, ands or buts.Waste of my time, and, if theyre still doing this, its a waste of YOUR time as well.Im only rating 1 star because no stars is not an option. 0/10 Would NEVER recommend.

This facility is fantastic, not only does it have good deals for move-in specials but the customer service is outstanding. Brian and Heidi are both very personable people who not only listen to the needs of the customer but take the time to find just the right storage space for you. Heidi and everyone Ive talked to on the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, polite and professional. Heidi was the representative that took my initial call, after talking to her I felt less stressed and never once did I feel mislead or she was hiding anything. We have been using PS for a year. I have never used a storage place before. I feel safe coming myself.Edit: I will be forever grateful for Anne! I somehow didnt lock up my unit. During her Morning Inspections she noticed. Locked it up and contacted me immediately. Thank you so much Anne, lifesaver!I am at the storage unit weekly, sometimes more. I use the unit for teaching supplies. Everytime I come I see employees, who are very friendly. The facility is clean and well maintained. They now have mobile access to the gate and some doors.

Had my stuff stored here for about a year, initially I was worried considering the surrounding area but month after month without incident put my mind at ease. Rent is due on the first but they have a grace period which saved me plenty of times. Heidi was the one who helped me get everything setup and despite my frustrations with the reservation inaccuracies she was calm and collective and ready to help with a can do attitude. When all was said an done I had everything I needed thanks to Heidi. Even my move out was smooth and had no troubles at all. 10/10 would get a unit here again.

I was at another public Storage off Watt, and they sent me to the one off Roseville Road. The lady was very rude and her customer service was very disrespectful. She was rushing because she was ready to go home even though it wasn’t even 5pm. Then as we are head back to the office to get my drivers license back, she turns around and says “so what you gonna do” I said I’ll rent a storage from some where else. She didn’t wanna look up nothing she was very short winded and didn’t wanna give me any information about what other storage place I can go to for Storing a working car. I will never go back.

Great facility conveniently located and well staffed. I had my doubts about getting a storage since the person I had talked to off site scheduled my appointment after hours. Seeing the postition I was in the manager offered to stay late the following day to ensure I got my unit. Setting up my storage in advance on-line made the selection of a storage facility easy! When I arrived, they were ready for me and they showed me the storage spaces they had available, which was what I had in mind. It was spotless, with no signs of insects. Access is great. I got all the necessary papers taken care of, including auto-payment on-line so I need not worry about being late. It just gets paid on time! The property managers, Linda and Christina were very polite and helpful, making this a great experience.I would highly recommend this facility to my friends, should they need storage space.

5 stars for Cinnamon and staff! Amazing, helpful, and courteous. 4 stars overall because more dollies are needed. Ive never seen more than 2 out and theyre always being used. Also, it would be helpful to be able to have MORE access hours. 930-6pm, but closing at 5pm on weekends? 6 or 7am to maybe 7pm would be great. The storage place were moving to (another city) has hours from 6am-10pm Everyday!

Ive had my unit seventeen months now and I couldnt be happier with my choice to store at this facility. Ive had a couple mishaps, through no fault but my own like when I lost my locker keys around Christmastime. Fortunately I found them. My other mishap was just last week. It was close to 7 when i arrived and I was in a hurry so while Im moving boxes around the bottom of one gave way and several glass baking dishes crashed to the floor and shattered inside my unit. It was awful. I learned that evening that the staff walk the entire property several times a day like clockwork. I needed a broom[so I headed to the office to ask if I could use theirs. No sooner than exiting my building I see Christina, the manager. and she is holding a broom and dustpan. She heard the ruckus as she was doing the security check and came to check it out. The quick thinking to bring a broom spoke volumes of her character. It may seem a minute act of kindness to some but for me, on that particular day, Christinas outstanding customer service saved me a ton of stress. Thanks again Christina, YOU ARE AWESOME!

Rating update: so, after raising my rent by $30 a couple of months ago the facility that I store at has had some kind of gate malfunction that they dont seem to be interested in fixing. This gate problem has two major issues- 1: the hours of access have now changed from 7 am to 9:30 am but still close at 7 pm and now during hours of operation the gate just stays open. I have a problem with this. Raise my rent, diminish my access and site security with no email explanation or plan to fix the damn gate? Not cool. If it wasnt such a pain to move, Id ditch this storage.

I needed a unit to store things while in the process of selling a home. I went to the Roseville location of Public Storage near my home because my son had a good experience with Public Storage in Santa Monica, CA. I am very happy I chose them because the excellent customer service I received from Julia Panasiuk was above my expectations. All the legalities were explained to me in language I could understand. Checking out was so easy. Julia took the time to explain to me why I should keep the lock I purchased and what uses it could have. She went above and beyond in every way. The unit itself was just the right size and it was clean and easy to access. I will use Public Storage again when the need arises.

If you value your belongings at all, DO NOT rent from this location!!!! I cannot stress this enough. I had my storage broken into one day and only a few tool bags were taken (stuff they could carry out by hand). The NEXT DAY my storage was hit again, this time they got everything worth taking! All that was left was couple totes with old clothes and one with random cords, basically stuff that was worthless to them. Anyways, the storage has a camera set up outside the door where my unit was located so I told the employee the timeline of events, n said she only needed to review one day to find out who it was, she would either see someone coming out with my belongings (huge husky tool chest on wheels is pretty noticable) but if she didnt see my belongings coming out then that means they are still in there, but in someone else unit. Its not that hard to figure out, I did the investigative work for her, but she did nothing except waste my time. I even filed a police report, but thanks to public storage lack of consideration and willingness to help out, I lost any chance for me to get my belongings back. She was rude, inconsiderate, constantly changing what she said the previous day, the company overall did ABSOLUTELY nothing to help me out! Just look at the pictures Im posting. You can clearly see the lock was cut, 1st pictures are showing that just a few tool bags were missing, then you can see how much they took the 2nd day. With how uncooperative the employees were, I wouldnt be surprised if it was an inside job. Or they just dont care about their customers at all!

The manager here (Heidi) is simply wonderful. Every problem I have had has always been quickly and kindly solved due to her knowledge and patience. The entire staff is knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Heidi and Sierra are the 2 who have been most involved in my problematic move-in and within the facility. The grounds are clean and these ladys keep everything running smoothly 24/7. The prices for their storage units are competative (well worth it too) with rules invorced and grounds kept clean. I highly recommend this location of Public Storage for anyone needing to store a few extra items or an entire house.

While entering the public storage establishment my van died. I was later to find out it needed a timing belt, but while I was there, Michelle, was kind enough to allow me to park my vehicle until I could get a tow truck to tow it out of there. Its people of this caliper who show a caring attitude and great customer service that we need in positions of this type. I came back a few days later and she even asked how it went and if I had gotten my vehicle repaired, its so comforting to know there are people who still care. Thank you, Michelle.

Your next month will also bounce the payment on their end, gaining a late fee and charged me double the rent, and threatened a preliminary lien on my unit, in under a month.I used to work for a mini storage, so I know personally, this is NOT correct business practices for storage facilities. The staff are very nice and friendly. I have 2 reasons for giving a low rating. 1. The restroom which USED to be open to the public now has a restroom sign on the door, but is padlocked and not available for storage renters use. So for the past month or so, whenever I go to my unit to go thru it I have to either leave what Ive taken out outside of my storage or try to hurry to put it all back into my unit (which is a large unit FILLED) and drive to the Starbucks or Panda Express on the corner before I piss my pants. 2. The dumpsters are locked now. Have been for almost a week. I see no point in this. Its like the people running the facility want it looking trashy by making their customers put their garbage BY the dumpster. Just a FYI, thats how it looks. Trashy. These 2 problems are very rude inconveniences that make me want to take my business else where and not recommend this facility to anyone.

My experience at Public Storage was one of relief. Kae and Michelle made it easy to work with them and not being pressured when what I consider valuables are in their storage facility. Bad experiences in the past led to unjustly relinquishing me of my storage when all I wanted was my personal pictures and paperwork. When the storage (not Public Storage) is going to auction my things anyway, why not take at least half of the storage cost to get my baby pictures and classwork, sport medals, etc., priceless memories. To think that all the person who buys the storage is going to do is throw those things in the dumpster was disheartening. I am ranting because you can guess that it has had an impact on me. But Public Storage made it easy for me to downsize if needed be and made it a simple process to move out. Thank you very much.

The staff could do better helping in a timely manner. Spent 3 hours here for a simple sign up. Otherwise the place looks secure and they keep their word.
