I have been trying to speak with an associate at the location all day since 11am until 5. Every time I call it has busy signal. Then when I am transferred from the call center it just rings until the voicemail. For what they charge a customer should be able able to speak to someone at their location within a 6 hour time period.

I moved in back in August, I am a pandemic nurse who dedicated his life to helping people and in September I became unemployed through no fault of my own. Shortly before that, my car broke down and through a series of costly repairs my accounts became drained very quickly, I fell behind, I notified both storage companies Price Self Storage & this facility, Price refused to work with me, charging me astronomical amounts for their spaces to rent, and their staff are notoriously rude. They dont interact with you at all unless they want money from you. If you need anything from them they stare at you with a look that seems to say how dare you talk to me Thanks to their over priced units I racked up quite the bill extremely quickly so much so that by the time I found steady work again it was going to take me time to save up the payment. In the end the contents of my storage locker were sold at auction for a $100 meanwhile the contents of the locker were easily 15x that. Lets discuss security, simply put, unbeatable. The site has 3 sets of locked security doors that can only be unlocked by your phone, then once inside you have your actual security lock on your unit. Public storage worked with me during this time, they understood my struggles and they made me deals, trusted me, and sympathized with me, and in the end? I am not gainfully employed again, suing my old employer, and i am up to date on payments and enrolled in autopay with public storage. Silver linings.

Be aware all the spaces at this facility have a height restriction, meaning that there is a wire ceiling so one is not able to stack beyond the top height of the space.

***120% Recommend***After getting ripped off badly at the previous storage place that had started me at $146 month #1, $179 month #2 and $233 by month #3 for an 8/10 storage room!!I called around and landed a conversation with Hayden. He booked my appointment and after he heard my story he showed me his rates (which are wayyy cheaper) and he ended up giving me a special rate that was available that day.I couldn’t be happier with the cleanliness, easy access and awesome management. Ask for Hayden, coolest guy on the planet!

This public storage at first seemed like a nice safe place to come and bring your stuf now truth be told this place is a hangout for the local drug addicts they come they get high in the bathroom and they leave their needles around and they go back to the streets and then come back whenever they feel like getting high again dont come to this place this place is dangerous and your stuff is probably not safe

Within 12 hours of this post a new rental increase notice arrived.Heads up.... when reserving online prior, at check in they Changed pricing because of Known Internet problem, they hadnt fixed.As a result, at moving in they upcharge. Oh, did you get a confirmation #? Uh, no. Well, sorry. Kinda stuck at that point, rental van, movers, committed. Especially in an immediate situation, I feel they use that to their advantage.After moving in, the second month they sent a notice your rent is increasing, blah blah blah.Dont get me started on the freaking complimentary dollys...Sad face.

I helped my friend unload a unit recently. Because of recent theft, they’ve started to collect a driver’s license in exchange for a key to unlock one of the carts. We finished unloading the unit around 6:30pm (well within the posted hours) but when we went to pick up my friend’s ID, no one was in the office. No attempt was made by any staff member to get it back to him before they left for the day. It took several phone calls to this location and others nearby to figure out when anyone would even be back the next day for us to grab it.In addition, this place makes it very difficult to get into the building and into the elevator with a code being required every time you walk through a doorway. Although it is very secure, it is incredibly annoying, especially when you are using a group of friends to move. One person is usually tasked with just keeping the front door open, so they can’t be helpful with the actual moving of items.Long story short, this place is very secure and safe but to the point of extreme inconvenience.

Loved renting a unit here. Karla was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I used a 5x5 unit for a couple months and felt like my belongings were safe and convenient to get to. I was also able to purchase a lock for my unit which I was able to keep after my contract was complete. They have some packing and storage supplies available in the office, which is great to have when you are storing bigger items like a mattress and you want to keep it safe from the elements.Thanks Karla!!!

I am another disbelief of the way things went with this place. After the pandemic, me and my wife lost our home due to the fact that I was in a horrible car accident we were forced to pack our stuff up and put it in the storage facility from the first few times I was there, I was treated very badly at first started with harassment based on the fact that I had a lot of things around my car and while I was cleaning out my car after I gotten back from my trip for the holidays I was told that this is not a place where people hang out, very clear that I had a lot of stuff and I was taking it to my storage, yes, same day I was late leaving due to the fact that my car had electrical problems that I had never dealt with before I was receiving help from the worker there and they informed me that it was OK later that week after they took payment from me, they had terminated my contract after sending me just an email saying please do not do this again, from that point my stuff was locked up. I was not allowed to get it and long story short the day I came to get it I was waiting there at 6 AM. I was told that my stores would be open to me and it wasn’t. I came to get rid of my stuff and take it with me and go elsewhere. My truck that I was using was not there yet therefore they would not allow me to take my stuff. Needless to say, I left very angry and upset and now my stuff has been sold. There’s obviously a lot more to what is going on with this place has devastated me and my wife in a way that I can’t explain I’m beyond upset, my wife is devastated . Tools, car, parts, baby clothes, everything that anybody owns that I owned was in that storage now it’s gone

All I can say is WOW!! customer service was incredible. I came into this facility, after I had gone to a few down the street. But all the other places I went to were just rude. The representatives wouldnt not greet or smile as you entered. Anyways...I came into this place and right of the bat, Eric greeted me very friendly. There was a lady before me and he asked me to kindly wait. I did.when it was my turn to be helped I told him I had no idea what I was doing . So he explained everything I needed to know about the facility and how it works. He was there every step of the way. Such a nice guy! Very welcoming! I totally recommend this place :)

Stop looking for a Storage company and come to this location!! Very well maintained and under GREAT management. Brandon was an absolute pleasure and diligently showed us various units with an exceptional presence and attitude. The grounds are very well kept and safely secured. Being a drive-up location, ALL units are accessible by truck, which makes for a much easier loading/unloading process. Id say its worth driving out of the way for. I made multiple calls to different storage companies and was overly impressed when I dealt with this location. Brandon, thank you for such a great experience. Really needed help looking for a storage, looked up online for a place but was having an issue finding my way around so called 800 number talked to Jose who was great, seem to know the area, get me the best price and closest complex and even plugged in the move in special... Found complex with ease with the address and directions that was sent to my text. Entered facility and talked to Gaby, who was great and here working hard on what was her day off, she made it fast and easy and had a smile the whole time, got us setup and done in no time. I went to This public storage to store my car. I first spoke with Karla Lopez on the phone and made a reservation. The location was very easy to find, it is close to Burbank airport. Karla kept my reservation, helped me find a good storage unit and did the transaction very professionally. She was very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and fast. This is an excellent storage facility, and the people who run it - especially Gabby on the weekends - make all the difference! The place is clean, well lit, and well maintained. They had the exact size unit I needed with easy, pull-up to the door access. I even got half off the first months rent! They also have a lot of moving supplies, including plastic couch and mattress covers. Great facility! I highly recommend it! :-)

Last Sunday May, 11th, 2014, I reserved a storage unit, ‘on-line’, at this facility.The next day, on Monday morning, the location Manager Eileen called me at 9:30 AM to confirm my reservation and arrange a time to meet with her at the location to go over all the necessary paperwork etc.I was in a meeting when she called and unfortunately had to cut our conversation short so, after my meeting, I called Eileen, first to apologize for cutting our talk short, and then to set up a time we might meet on Saturday, May 17th, 2013.When Eileen answered, I informed her who I was, and apologized for cutting our earlier conversation so short.Eileen thanked me for the call back and then went to work to completely put me at ease about our earlier, ‘brief’, encounter.She continued to be very kind, helpful, courteous and extremely professional, throughout our entire conversation and, before we hung up, we agreed to meet me at 9:30 AM today.During the week my Saturday’s schedule changed, so I called Eileen again, to let her know, and ask if 11:00 AM would still be okay to come by the location.Eileen thanked me for calling about the change and told me that although she personally would not be there, Gabby, her assistant would be able to help me with any questions or concerns I might have.Today, when I arrived at the location to meet with Gabby, I was again struck by how very nice, helpful, courteous, and professional she was as well, during my entire time spent there, all while she generously allowed me to ramble on about life and nothing in particular, as I sometimes often do.In a world that sometimes examples otherwise, I found both, Eileen, the On-Site Manager, and Gabby, her Assistant, to be an incredible, unexpected delight, and a deeply refreshing tonic, and a pleasure to do business with.How very fortunate for the Public Storage Company, to have these two very respectful, courteous, kind, intelligent, and extremely capable woman, in their employ.Thank you very much again Eileen and Gabby for all you did to welcome me.Very Sincerely,Kenny Mitchell

Good location but rental rates are too high. Impossible to get someone on the phone too. They get you with an affordable move in rate but two months later youre paying more than double that. Also... they go in your unit when they say they wont. That happened to me when they changed their locks on all units.

Poor customer service, deceptive business practices and outright fraud. The woman who works there 4 to 5 days a week thought it was appropriate to lie to me about critical details in my contract. I found out later from other customers that units were broken into. Only after customers told the front desk about the break-ins that public storage became aware of the problem. This public storage lacks honest employees, and no real security for your property. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS TERRIBLE LOCATION

These people are bate and switch. I got a storage space for $366.00 per month last March and I was just informed that my rate has gone up to $429 per month. That is $63.00 more per month. Almost a 20% hike. No one ever informed me when I got the space that this could happen. Its only been 7 months. Small claimed court, here we come.

I started moving after several year. As i took inventory of my items i realized that my hand bags are missing. I immediately remembered an incident back where i got a call saying my unit was unlocked. Since it was a sunday i rushed over locked it without checking inside. Now no one seems to know what is going on. Also there is only one camera by the gate. Atleast i havent seen any other. Half of the hand bags were gifts and the other i got myself. Not sure what to do now. So unhappy a d disappointed.

The Public storage facility on Vanowen and Vineland has been awful. The lack of protocol and attentiveness to customers lowers the reputation of Public Storage and questions their objective. Is it Money or adhering to the customer and their needs? SPECIFICALLY BRANDON, who denied a lockout request (change of lock) from their location on COLE AND WILLOGHBY VIA FAX. Which, subsequently locked me out of my unit for a month and 12 days. STILL CHARGING $244.OO. Thankfully, PAOLA from the CHANDLER and Vineland branch made efficient changes and transaction was successful. Even then BRANDON was incapable of exemplifying professionalism. Making additional calls(Michael), having to call me back as if Im not busy. Thomas Dickins was no help at all! Other employers,however were professional.
