I just found out they fired Rochelle, who devoted 9 years of service here. Shocking. I dont know if theyll be able to replace someone with her work ethic. Huge mistake corporate! Many people here know Rochelle. They will not be happy with this decision. Shes the only one who took care of issues because PS Corporate does nothing to solve issues and problems. Its like they just dont care. At least Rochelle was responsible and got things done. Employees are easily replaceable, but Im not sure Public Storage can easily replace her. Public Storage is honestly a terrible company.One star for firing Rochelle. Huge mistake.

Just moved here from Arizona and was greeted by Erik the first day. Very nice and respectful guy who made me feel welcomed. I had all my belongings the day I came in to reserve/purchase my storage unit. After purchasing my storage unit not only did Erik show and explain how to use the app to have easy access to the gates but he showed me exactly where to find my specific unit. Thank you Erik!

Be aware of that, in the contract, PS can increase price as they pleased. I took a labor day special price, then after 3 months, price increased by about 50%. I called and complained, then PS show me that the contract T&Cs said, PS can increase price by just sending client an email notification. The increase does not have to be across the board, and can be by individual.This is a bait and switch tactics.

Jennifer was AWESOME!!!I came in to check my reservation and she notice that my monthly payment was not as I thought it would be. Well she went work doing this and that and there was a Memorial Day special going on and SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY .She helped me set everything up on my phone and walked me through the e-rental while I was in the office with great patience. She helped me download the Public Storage app we set it up with automatic payments .SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND,ASK FOR JENNIFER SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

Came to the saratoga location to rent multiple spaces and met Rochelle. She is awesome and had all the information i needed where all other facilites were super confusing. She made my day super easy. Aewsome awesome awesome. Definately the best help hands down!!However the company of public storage keeps making huge rent increases lately..... I complained about it and they raised it more!Rochelle helped me with that too!!When she went on vacation the whole facility fell apart and they sold me a space that was already sold, and when they figured it out they locked me out costuming days of work and I had to pay for movers twice because of their mistake and then they wouldnt give me my money back without me threatening lawsuit.Rochelle is the only reason why I was there for so many years without her I would have left much sooner.

Jennifer was amazing with my public storage experience! She was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and showed me around the units. She was able to clearly explain everything for me, as this is my first time using a storage unit. I came right before closing but my unit was too small and she went above and beyond, helping me with all the options for this location and other locations as well, ultimately helping me secure the perfect spot. She stayed after hours to help me out with getting the right spot at another location and refunded my original unit. Highly recommend this location and company. It’s a weird time to be packing up your life and having never had a storage unit we had no clue about how to go about it. This is a really nice facility. It is clean and well run with coded security entrance and exit gates. I worked with the property manager, Rochelle, who is super nice and accommodating. She explained everything I needed to know thoroughly and patiently so the whole process was seamless. I needed to wait a couple of months for an interior unit to become available to store my books so she put me on the waiting list. As soon as a unit became available, Rochelle called me as promised and the booking was handled quickly and smoothly. I couldnt be happier, which is an odd thing to say about a storage facility but Rochelle makes this place special.

Jennifer is a ROCK STAR! My partner and I had just clearing out my storage unit from the Los Gatos location and were getting set to move it into this location. Jennifer asked me why I had 2 units (turns out I forgot one small thing to fully vacate the LG unit), & when I explained that her location is much closer to our home & also less expensive, she explained that there are options I can take in a year if my rent goes up again. In addition to my partner and me, she was also assisting an elderly gentleman & another couple. All of us were moving our stuff into the same building so we all got to really know each other well! She was all by herself, but she handled all of our needs with grace & humor. Amazing customer service & the facilities are clean & well kept

I have been renting a storage unit from Publick Storage (PS) in Saratoga for 5 years since moving back from abroad, and have been very satisfied with its service and its facilities. Last Friday, I went into the office looking to transfer to a different sized unit to accommodate a slifht change in lifestyle. Lindsay was there and she provided excellent service, helping me choose and decide on a unit that just fit my need. Lindsay was friendly and courteous and she knows her business well. It was a very pleasant experience.

I think my only minor issue was the explanation could have been more clear, however it may have been that I was just not understanding as well. The service I received here was excellent. Rachelle and her staff always answered my phone calls promptly. They take time to explain and show us available units. When an estimator did not properly locked the unit, I got a call the next day to warn me to come back and lock the unit. The staff are really responsible. I also had to contact Bianka, the district manager who was very professional and resolved my problems thoroughly, efficiently and in a timely manner.

I just rented a small 5x5 storage unit at this Public Storage location. It is conveniently located (for me) and was offering a pretty good deal ($1 rent for the first month and a discount off the regular rental price). I was helped by Russell was very friendly and did a great job in working with me through the rental process. We also ended up having an interesting discussion about different languages. The unit itself was a decent clean unit which should hopefully serve me well for some time.

I had to find emergency storage when the schedule for my household move from the mid-west got pulled up and my house was not ready. Moving company storage costs a fortune. Lou worked hard to find the right size storage units for a VERY good price and was very flexible as the moving schedule continued to change. This location also has good access for big rigs. Overall excellent experience. I will definitely come back to this location if I have storage needs in the future.

Rochelle has all the skills, talents and abilities to manage her property in a way that it should be the Taj Mahal of Public Storage if it isnt considered that already. Shes so well organized and is a great decorator, youll see that the moment you walk into her office/store as to the way everything is so properly arranged and displayed. In fact the whole property and all the buildings and restroom are always squeaky clean. As for her demeanor shes always in a good mood, always genuously happy and eager to please, she always treats people the way she would want to be treated. She truly cares for everybody. I feel so blessed to have a Public Storage in my neighborhood. I have not needed storage for the past 12 years. In March, 2013 my landlords informed me that they were going to sale their home. We had to downsize during the selling period, so I had to find a place to store my things until I could find another permanent living arrangement. I didnt know Public Storage had come to Saratoga, CA because the address they have, had a previous owner for many years. I did not want to put stuff in storage, but with no other choice, I came to this location on 4/28/13. Thats when I met Jim. Jim was very professional and very knowledgeable of the Storage Units at his facility. After hearing from me what I needed to store, he informed me of what size would fit me best, and what the total bill would be. On 9/15/13, I needed to upgrade to a bigger Storage Unit, and once again, Jim helped me with the transition. Another reason why Im taking time to give a review for Jim is because he has exceptional customer service skills. He always greets me with a cheerful smile when I come to pay my bill in person, and if I get too busy and forget to pay my bill, he gives me a courtesy call before the 10th of the month, assisting me in avoiding a late fee. I hope others will take time to review Jim because he is a breathe of fresh air, in a time when so many businesses no longer pride themselves on customer service. I look forward to seeing Jim each time I go in person to pay my bill. How many people do you know who look forward to paying their bills. Jim is a keeper.

I wanted to share something cool. I told Victoria I was going to be storing a lot of shoes, some antique photographs, and some precious items. She had some really great ideas on how to pack my shoes. I already had clear bins and originally I was going to use some newspaper to place on top of my shoes. She said that I was better off getting some packing paper because newspaper print bleeds out. She then let me know that I absolutely needed a damp check. She said that not only will it collect moisture and humidity, but it will keep my shoes preserved, fresh, and moisture free. They have nice promotions of $1 first month but once you get there you add insurance, locker prices and so on, its not that cheap anymore. Then the cheaper storage you were looking has probably a bad location and you want a better one of the same size but obviously you add a few $$. Overall without the price thing its great.

Although Lou was extremely helpful, there is a woman that I believe Lou said was the manager that was extremely rude to me when I came in to ask a question. She snapped at me, As you can see, we are extremely busy, so if you have a question you had better come back later. In addition, I know that the lease is a month to month contract, but I did not think they would raise the rent over $40 only 6 months after I rented the unit. I should have read the reviews on yelp before renting here. Apparently they can raise the rent as often as they like and they do, knowing that after you spent the money, time and effort to move your belongings in, that most people will just continue to pay the additional amount so you do not have to pay more money, time and effort to move to a different place.Even worse, when I called customer service they were even more unhelpful by saying specific terms were in the contract that were not, and telling me to call the district manager if I needed help reading the contract. My daughter works for a law firm and knows how to read a contract so this was not helpful or conducive to their customer service public relations. Just be aware before you rent here - the price you see is only temporary and will continuously go up. Customer service is not great either.
