Ive had a unit since 2016, and rent increases up to three times a year. If they decide to decrease your rent, its short-lived, only for a few months, Ive applied for rent decrease for 6 years, and only got it once, and were talking a merely $11.00. It sky-rocketed after that. If you have to speak to anyone regarding your account, good luck, cuz only the property manager can assist you, and finding them on site is impossible. If there are any problems with Auto-Pay, even if its on their end, they force you to come in and pay cash. I thought customer loyalty meant something, obviously not. The only plus side is that you can make a payment at any location. The site is relatively clean. Elevator is smelly. I get why the dont have trash cans cuz they dont want people dumping things, but, at least one accessible in the office would be nice.

Came to visit this property inquiring about a space and the manager on duty Bertha was very sweet and informative as far as giving me prices for a unit. I loved her great service and she was very professional and made me feel comfortable about renting a storage for the first time! Its our first time to rent a storage unit. I reserved a unit online, and they called us to made an appointment to view the unit. Jennifer is the one who help us. She is very nice and made the process quick and easy. Unfortunately, the second day, we dont need the unit anymore because our problem. Jennifer is very nice to help us. I called over a month ago about the security situation at this locality so far nothing has been done how can decision be made about the safety of your employees when you dont work under these conditions you took away the alternative door as well as the security glass . Jennifer is very helpful. She really took the time to explain everything about the self storage process bc this was my first time. She also walked me to my unit and explained what amenities were available, like hand carts to help move items and the restrooms on site. Shes really a sweet person and good at communication. She calls me if there are any issues regarding my two storage units and works with me if I have a scheduling issue. I cannot thank her enough with helping me out with this stressful process.

I had a random issue that was a little annoying and had been ongoing for a week or so, when I called back the property this time Samantha went above and beyond to help me. I was supposed to call her back but totally forgot and she followed up with me just to inform me that everything was done and to make sure I was all set and satisfied. Samantha However when I called to check on my account was very unprofessional and not listing she wanted to over talk when I asked about my autopay concern. Samanth told me if I didnt want to pay I could move my stuff out My finance came to place items inside the space and he spoken to Samantha about the elevator not working she told him to go around to the other elevator she told him didnt want to reset it or check on it I was on my walker waiting for access to go up.. I have the correct address on file I dont know why I didnt receive my letter about the rate increase and Im currently waiting for a response from the district manager. I was refered to public storage and Id like to keep my location if the price is right. Im hoping when I come down to the location Jennifer will be working she is wonderful.

Not only has it been a convenient and clean place to store my things during my relocation, but I faced some hardship during my tenure as a client. Bertha, one of the managers, patiently assisted me in order to assess all the options available in order to keep me as a client and my valuable “treasures” safe and sound. I utilized the resources she gave and am still a client. The staff here, including the general manager, made me feel as important to them as a client as maintaining my hinge stored is to me! I was in your store a few days ago and I just wanted to let you guys know what a pleasure it was to be helped by Yolanda! I am new to the area and she was so helpful and understanding. I was looking to rent a certain size unit and sadly there wasnt one available at that time. She showed me what was available though. All the units were very clean and maintained. For this to be a storage place I was very impressed. I tried some other storage places in the area and they were nowhere near as clean and their employees didnt seem to care about what my needs were. Yolanda went out of her way to try and find what I was looking for at some of your other area facilities too. Ill be checking back with Western Ave to see if one becomes available and also letting anyone that I know that needs storage to go to PS on Western and ask for Yolanda!!!!!

My mother and I have been using public storage on Western in Gardena for over a year now. The storages are a nice size and resonably priced. Customer service is great as well. I had a issue with a lock that became slighly rusted and made it difficult to open. I went into the office and explained the situation and the young lady at the counter came to my storage unit immediately to not only help get the storage open but to exchange my lock for a new one. I am very pleased and cannot imagine my valuables being stored anywhere else.

The manager Jennifer had the worst attitude in the world. Shes very nasty unprofessional and she runs that property as if its a low income housing!!!! She has her boyfriend walking around the property and it looks like a scene from Boyz in the Hood & you can NEVER get in contact with anyone from the corporate office. If you like drama your store your stuff here and if you dont youll go elsewhere

Hello, I am a existing customer me and my husband, have been renting my storage here for a couple years now. Although Public Storage has an high turnover staff such as Myesha Hill has always been extremely polite and enthusiastic about their jobs. Since we have been renting here a while I have seen pros and con here. Cons such as the elevator on grounds doesnt work, while its down more time than not, which is such an inconvenience to us and, other customers. Also, the gate hour need to be extended until a later time. I pay to store my property on your facility. I should be able to access my belonging as long as it is an reasonable time at 6pm which is the time the storage close the sun is up. I understand the security reason but, still come on. That does make me feel like my property is very safe and secure.
