First time to rent a public storage, decided to select this location. I got lost the first time here, was driving around and couldn’t find the stair or knowing what to do. Luckily Marizol was there to guide and provided all directions and made my visit very comfortable and she was friendly. I am now know what to do on my next visit here. Excellent !! Totally enhanced my experiences with public storage.

Set up an appointment had to wait in the heat. Kept knocking and calling. Called the help center they couldnt reach this place either. no one ever came to the door or responded kept going to voice mail who ever works here is not doing their job at all horrible waste of time. *edit if I have an appointment why are you helping other people shouldnt they have an appointment? This location did not have an elevator that people could ride in. The second level was only accesible vía a flight of stairs. For your belongings, there was a freight-only elevator that you are strictly not allowed to ride- even if your things are in it. - You have to run up the stairs to meet your things when they arrive. Needless to say, we had to cancel our contract on the move-in day, and we were not refunded the $29.00 Administrative fee. Ive rented storage space in the past. -This was a first.

The manager, Ms. Marizol has been working on my all needs for my storage. She did such a professionally wonderful job, especially for my specific issue. My rent for storage had major increase, then, she helped to reduce the rent and it was extremely helpful to continue having storage longer and longer. Having storage is very important to me, but I have very tight budget. So, I was very thankful for her hard work. She is always so nice and friendly, but at the same time, she is so professional, too. If I know whoever needs storage, I would strongly recommend Public Storage, especially Monterey Park where Ms. Marizol is managing because her excellent customer service.

Marisol and Linda helped me tremendously my last two times to my unit. Marisol was so personable and encouraged me in my endeavors! Linda, despite being busy and my 5:09pm arrival (scheduled closing at 5pm), opened the office to allow me to pay my rent in person. She was unaware, but I was moving out of state this same night and wanted to pay my bill in person for my personal knowledge. Both of their kindness was sincerely and greatly appreciated!

This place has raised the cost twice in two years. The first time was roughly $20 which was not so much of an issue but now they are raising it an additional $40. I understand that prices are going up for products that are being shipped because of gas prices but there is no need for them to raise my prices other than their greed. They are so full of garbage and was fed more of it when I spoke with them. No need!

Recently made a reservation over the phone with the wrong check in date when speaking to Marisol I realized the mistake she was able to change the date for me with no problem. When checking in later on that date she was very informative and gave a tour of the place showing me how to enter and exit the facility even tho it was almost closing time she made sure all my questions were answered and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. Great friendly staff if you need a storage place near the area definitely recommend it they keep it clean.

After having gone to a nearby public storage where I was misled by incorrect information on the website vs in person and being rude to by another public storage company over the phone and hung up on, I at stumbled upon this secret gem. I called public storage and talked to Marizol over the phone who was just as lovely and pleasing in person as over the phone. She was quick, thorough, explained everything from beginning to end and made me feel at ease. She was such a breath of fresh air after what I had gone through with other companies. She was friendly, funny, made me feel comfortable and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in need of storage. You wont regret it and you can thank me later!

I have worked with Public Storage in the past for the company I worked at. I was not disappointed. Marizol, the manager, was very helpful and informative. She covered everything in the contract and about the site. Just figuring out what I needed she was very thorough, she was going through a checklist to make sure I was getting a unit that was large enough and not too large. I bought extra just in case for my situation. And such a bargain online for $1 for the first month for a 9x10 and many of the units. And the site is just 5-6 minutes from where I currently live and plan on living. Marizol walked me through security and showed me the unit I had reserved online. The lifts are a bit awkward to use. Other than that its a great place to store your stuff.

If I can give them a zero I would. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I sold some furniture to a friend of mine and I recommend to go to the same place where I store my stuff and apparently I was taking advantage of a dollar promotion that they had when clearly I wasnt renting another storage for me. The lady Marisol said I was flagged for trying to transfer my property to a new garage for the 1 dollar promotion. I called Customer Service and explained my situation and they told me I was never flagged. She just wanted to sell my friend into a different room and pay more. We where so frustrated we both wanted to cancel but they would not return our money back. I will never go back again to this place and definitely do not recommend to anyone any more!

Ive rented with this Public Storage for the past (3)years living in Los Angeles. Ive first rented a 5x5 unit then upgraded soon after to a 10x10. I chose this location based on reviews and my first visit when shopping around a for a storage unit. The staff working have exceeded my expectations. The service is top-notch and they treated me like family. For example, during one of the hottest days of the year, the on-site manager went above and beyond and offered water to everyone who was there moving.I highly recommend this location for anyone considering a storage unit in or around the Monterey Park area.

I was searching for a public storage last week and decided on this site. I needed to figure out how big the space to move my stuffs in. I was shown by Marizol upon arrival and she was such a friendly and helpful to take me around the rooms. Chris took great care of me in ensuring I knew everything from how to access the property to the use of the elevator. The sign-up process was effortless, I do recommend this place for storing all your treasured items, if you need some space and cant let go those of those sentimental items, well you wont have to go check out the Public Storage in Portrero Grande. 👍🏽

Well, I just started renting here this month, and it hasnt been a good start. Actual prices were higher than their internet page showed. The day after I rented it, they hassled me with a phone call and an e-mail telling me to put a lock on the unit. The e-mail actually said that their inspection showed there was no lock, despite the fact that I watched an employee lock it up when I left after the initial payment. I may modify this review, well see how things go.Update: I just went by the storage site, and they still have their lock on, meaning they lied in their email. It was also a wasted trip for me.Been a month now, and I will be changing to a different storage facility. Employees there are VERY rude. Ive had enough of their BS.

This woman was exceptionally diligent and very thorough down to exact details of availability, packaging accessories, storage spaces, sizes, cost, sales, and anything and everything to do pertaining to renting a storage unit. I have never in my life met such a person for the love of her job to help them in any way possible to feel comforted in storing their property.she follows up and answers all questions . I was undecided about what size storage to rent and bugged her for one week.she was patient with me and everytime took me to look at the different spaces without complaint everytime.she really is an exceptional worker.we need more workers like this that are passionate about their job and are grateful to have it and help others

Shady staff, company refuses to mail me a check for unused prepaid rent. Would never rent from Public Storage again, bunch of crooks as proven by successful class action against them. More suits likely to follow by the looks of things.Attached image of my account statement showing my paid rent for May 2017. Unit was closed out on 5/30/2017 as shown by second image, Public Storage refuses to issue refund for $114 according to their published policy. Pending small claims suit has been initiated.

The Public Storage manager, Marizol made me feel secure and informed as she conducted a tour of the location for me and another party. She explained the facilitys unique features and the storage rental agreement. Marizol further informed us about necessary and useful items that help secure and protect ones stored items. She has demonstrated professionalism and caring along with her assistant, Alma. Marizol and Alma keep me informed about my storage options because I may transfer to a smaller storage room. Your facility is secure and convenient, but the real heart and character of this facility are Marizol and Alma.
