Rented a unit here today … Pervin, the on-site manager was super helpful.Great location with easy access to 101/85/237Clean location/well managed/cared for.Best price around for a ground floor unit with outside access for drive up.I recommend 👍

I recently had an outstanding experience at my local public storage facility, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Parvin. He patiently explained my storage options, guided me through the facility, and ensured I felt comfortable with the changes. I was able to secure a reasonably priced reservation for a storage unit however, it is not hyperbole to say that it was impossible for me to confirm that reservation and rent the unit.The online links provided were not functional and filled in forms with incorrect information and provided false error codes making it impossible to complete payment.My husband and I both spoke to, in total, 8 customer service agents who were kind and attempted to help but conveyed inconsistent information provided by their system and guided us through the same dysfunctional process 4 times.The company does not provide any way to speak directly to someone who is able to fix problems or address concerns, the staff is unable to process payment over the phone, there is literally zero troubleshooting of system errors.. I dont even know how to convey how aggravating the process turned out to be.It seems to me like the company deliberately posts affordable pricing as reservations and then designs a broken system that is unable to provide that service. Seriously disappointing. I encourage you to save your time and find a more honest storage option.

It is an update. I actually got robbed a year ago. Surprised to find out they dont have security cameras to cover most areas except in the front near the office. I eventually moved to the front unit just to be able to have security camera. Disappointing and it was too late. My 2 most valuable antic side tables got stolen. Also beware that they kept increasing the rent. No consideration for long term renters?

Jenny is the best, heart and soul of this place, always happy to assist, amazing energy, she makes my day every time I go to my unit to pick up some stuff. Units are very affordable, clean, 12ft tall, safe and secure. Thumbs up all around.

Peggy, the property manager, does a fantastic job of keeping this place very clean and well-maintained. Its especially amazing because most of the units are the outdoor, roll-up type. The last time I stopped by to pay, her other customers had brought her some flowers and the local, daily paper. Shes always professional, efficient, and completely focused on customer service. Its no wonder her customers are so happy. I highly recommend storing here.

Many of my friends use this location as well because of the great customer service. Even though the location is convenient the main reason I go here rather any where else is Peggy is so reliable and is always happy to help in any way she can. You cant that every where nowadays and you can tell that she really cares about her clients. She takes her job seriously and even told be she was looking at doing local courses in communication and business to ensure she is at the top of her game. I would hire her if I could! :)

I have had a wonderful experience at this particular Public Storage facility. Not only is the facility clean, but the customer service exemplary. I had particularly tight deadlines to get into my new unit and Peggy the facility manager was right there with me every step of the way to assure me in getting my needs met for the timing. Parvin the weekend relief manager helped me with well advised continuing administrative details. Having a disability, this attention to customer service is invaluable keeping me functioning with ease. I highly recommend this location.

I was fortunate to find two storage spaces at this location and worked with Parvin to complete the reservation. My only frustration was completing the online reservation via desktop. It was a bit buggy and somewhat time-consuming, but Parvin was extremely patient with me and we eventually got through it, even laughing at a few points. Parvin is a great representative of Public Storage, really helpful, very responsive, and easy to work with. Im very happy with our choice of location and service provider. Thank you!

I came here from North Carolina, since Ive arrived in California Peggy has been the nicest person Ive met. She was very welcoming, kind, and generous. I was having a pretty bad day up until that point as well. I got a great deal on the Labor Day sale. I am brand new to the property, so I cannot say too much about my experience yet. But, the reservation and rental experience was great. The online interface allows you to hold the space. Once I arrived at the property, my space was ready to be viewed, clean and what I expected. The customer service was really great. Parvin was polite, thorough and very helpful.I felt welcomed and at no point did I have any misgivings about my decision to rent. I look forward to accessing my storage space and believe it will be quite safe there.

I’ve got a last last minute storage and the service I received was wow! All that was thanks to Ann (her customer focus, skills and helpfulness deserve 10 stars), she went above and beyond over the phone, explaining me and letting me know that all things will be set ASAP, she even postponed her lunch break to assist me on getting the storage unit (found out after i finished all the paperwork, checking the unit etc). I looked at multiple storage units with the ability to store my car. This was the only place that had the ability to do so since it has garage type doors. Peggy was awesome and answered all my initial questions. She even gave me a courtesy call when my first payment was due and also explained a few questions I had about payment. Paruin helped me close out my unit and was very helpful as well. The only downside is that you can not do half months but have to pay for the full month.

Peggy is absolutely fantastic, we had a huge issue with the unit we first rented that the door wasnt holding up in place and kept rolling down. So she suggested we move into another one, that was really considerate of her, so that is exactly what we decided to do. Even though it did cause some hassle, but it was a great option. Prior to us moving into the new unit Peggy made sure that everything worked correctly and she even cleaned that unit inside from dust. We are really happy with our new unit. Huge shout out to Peggy for making it work out.

I came to this location while visiting a friend in California. I recently moved out west, leaving some of my things in a Public Storage unit back east. Long story short, I needed Peggys help to transfer some documents back home and she absolutely jumped through hoops for me. The customer service was excellent, even with my difficult requests. She was willing to help in any way she could, and made sure she understood the situation before making suggestions and got back to me right away as I needed her. All around great experience with public storage. The people at two locations I called in Modesto were both very friendly and helpful on the phone. The person I talked to through the corporate number I called to make a last minute reservation change was understanding and accommodating. My in person experience with Parvin in Mountain View was also good. He was helpful, fast, and well informed.Compared to the nightmare uhaul and moving generally are, public storage was as convenient as you would hope storage to be.

I really loved this storage facility. Unfortunately I had to move all my belongings closer to San Fran where I now live and work. I was in this storage for over a year and it was great. The manager was super cool and helpful. The place is clean all around and the grounds and pavement are perfect. It has plenty of room everywhere for packing and unpacking. I hope I find another place like this down the road when needed.

Great experience renting a unit here. Parvin was helpful, friendly, and effective at checking me in. This place is more secure than Fort Knox, I feel very comfortable with my belongings being stored here. You can reserve your space 30 days in advance, and make sure to keep checking the prices as your move in date approaches because if the price drops, you can easily re-book at the new price, and the prices change daily.

I am not so sure about the corporation itself (not a fan of some of their more rigid rules and computer system inflexibility) but Diane the onsite manager is great. She went out of her way to help me coordinate my move from Los Angeles. Because I couldnt come in person before the move, she was super helpful on the phone and when I got there she very graciously helped me look at a couple of different units to make sure I had the right one. All their units are able to be driven up to so there are no elevators or hallways to navigate. The whole grounds are spotless and Peggy and Paruin are really helpful. They take the time to find the right fit for your needs and they are familiar with the rates for all the competitors and can give you the best deal. Very professional and great customer service. I work at the Bayshore Cafe on the Scientology Campus so they are just a few doors down from me making it super convenient. Would recommend to anyone.

My husband and I have been searching long for a great location close to our address but couldnt find one because our location comes with a price! This might not be the cheapest ones out there but this fits the budget compared to other places with smaller units then on higher price cost!This location has good size units, drive up access and not as expensive as compared to the ones in similar location. The Manager on site PARVIN is awesome!! I can truly feel that we found the best place for our storage needs and will be at ease knowing this man and his family just live around the area and will be closely and easily available in case we need them! Parvin provided such an amazing customer service! very knowledgeable, reliable, accurate and patient to all my questions and inquiries! Great service at this location. After reviewing the reserved unit, I had some hesitation whether my items would fit due to a slight discrepancy in size. Parvin was very helpful explaining all my options to make sure my storage needs were met. Ultimately, I moved forward with the unit knowing if I did have any problems the staff would be there to assist. Just one side note on this location, be aware the access hours are limited compared to other storage facilities. This wasn’t an issue for me but might be a concern for others.

I was a little less enthusiastic about the price, but then again it is in Mountain View which has more expensive real estate than other South Bay areas. Additionally, there are no automatic fire sprinklers in the units in this location--not a huge deal, but something to think about.

The customer service here is fantastic! The only issue I had with this place it seemed like the prices would go up every so often, and ultimately I had to move out. My rent started at $90/month and ended at $160/month. I had a really great price to start off but the price almost doubled in less than a year of renting there. I can understand the demand was increasing but the prices seemed to increase almost by $20 quarterly.Other than that, the people working there were always professional and even did courtesy calls to make sure I paid on time. I would give 5 stars for their service but as far as pricing goes I had to deduct one. Just wished it didn’t increase so often.

A convenient location, at least for my wife and I. Almost no problems in the months we rented here (about 9 months). The one minor exception was when they painted (which is a good thing), but my wife was unable to open the latch due to the paint (but staff helped her, which is again a good thing).Note that the hours Google lists are the office hours, if you need to start or end a rental. Once you have your locker, you can get to it from 6am to 9pm every day.

This location is totally fine, Public Storage as a company is horrible. What you need to know is that their advertised rates are merely promotional rates for the first 6 months, and after that the monthly rate is raised by 30% to match the other local companies. So, if you need temporary storage, this place is fine. If you need long-term storage, just know that your initial rate will go waaaay up in a few months and then every year after that. It’s just their business model, but I hate that they try to hide it. It feels like a scam.

This is my first time using one of these storage vendors. I have to say that Peggy and the team at Public Storage have gone out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and secure about leaving my belongings there. False advertising!- They reduced the operating hours « due to COVID19 »... yeah right, but they forgot to reduce the rate accordingly too- When you make a reservation, they say you “LOCK in this rate” (in capital letters) but I just got an e-mail with a ~10% rate increase not even a year in... so how is the rate locked? It’s not!They will probably say it’s a misunderstanding but it’s on them to be clear in their marketing materials.I feel betrayed and this is unfortunate because beside these dishonest practices it’s a good storage place and the on-site staff is awesome (Hi Parvin, Toby)I wanted to stay long term but reconsidering my plans. 10% increase every few months will not be bearable.Most reviews seem to be from people who rented short term.Coincidentally this happened right after when I asked (politely) if there was another storage unit available. Peggy advised sandbags and plastic sheets; fortunately, my stuff was in plastic containers and placed on Elfa freestanding away from the pools that formed; unfortunately, some wood shelving did not get off so lightly. So be warned and prepared with containers. Peggy will put you wise.Get a proper broom and a pan and brush to clean out. Youll need the broom to brush down the cobwebs and the dirt on the door.

The Unit I rented is like any other Unit and I have been renting there since 2008 when I discovered that I can store my things in the identical size Unit in another Public Storage location for $110 a month cheaper. When I asked about this I was told that its based on the location and that threw me as this location is in an industrial area while the other is in a nice neighborhood. The other PS has a broader time range to access and the units are newer and yet this location is much more expensive. I had few interactions with the managers throughout the time while I rented but I recall having to go back and forth to take a copy of my husbands military paperwork because they didnt know why they didnt have one on record and they were audited. If you dont need to access the Unit on a daily basis I would recommend looking at Units just 8 miles away where its much cheaper and especially if you plan to store your things for a long time as the rent goes up regularly.

Sorry, but I cant recommend public storage. Unit got broke into and they had time to dump everything out, go through it and throw it all back in... Use PODS instead. If you are going to use public storage make sure the unit is in full view of the cameras if they have them and photo inventory everything you put in the unit.

Clean and friendly staff. Close to high way 237 and next to google. There is taco bell on the corner even.
