Moving sucks, we all know that. But Brad at Public Storage is very skilled and so helpful at making things go smoothly for the storage part. And the facility itself is super clean and surprisingly easy to navigate. It’s a monolith of a building from the outside, but very accessible for vehicles and unloading (I guess loading, too). The doors, corridors, and elevators are wide and plenty of space to load the unit. I feel that my items are safe and secure here.

Signing a lease was easy online, but they hide the fact that the price you sign on for will only last a month or 2. They up their rent on a monthly basis. I got a unit for $150 and it’s suddenly up to $199 with no notice.EDIT: office reached out and fixed the rent increase. I appreciate it!

I have to let you know about WONDERFUL LIZ !!! My family and I and several of my employees, clients and business associates all have storage units with the company. Over the past month there was a problem with one of our units and 8 other people from Public Storage failed to help us to resolve our issues. It caused great stress for several of my family members and associates who wanted to terminate our dealings with the company. Then we were blessed to meet Liz who effortlessly solved our issue and saved the day. Liz is a stellar asset to Public Storage and to all of the people who have units with the company. She is a problem solver, a leader and should be in an upper management position. She is kind, efficent, helpful, humble, professional, empathetic, proficient and would be a great employee in any company or organization. PS is lucky to have her. We are SO GRATEFUL to have met Liz. There are not enough complimentary words to describe Liz ! She is simply the BEST !

It’s not often and I say what a pleasure it is to deal with somebody but the pleasure was mine in dealing with Kim Brown today. She was fast, she was efficient, she was professional, knowledgeable, did I say very pleasant yet. I wasn’t sure what size to get at first. I was greeted by Brad (manager) and he was amazing! Helped us look at the difference between the units and explained the price difference. Being able to physically see the units that were available for rent really helped. We went with a 4x5 unit and I couldn’t be happier. Have a small apartment but a ton of stuff? A 4x5 room will have plenty of storage for all the items. All holiday decorations fit plus plenty of space left for other things. Thank you, Brad!

When I arrived at Public Storage with movers I realized my reserved unit had an obstruction in it and it was not going to work. I would have been in big trouble if not for Brad in the rental office who helped me transfer to a new larger unit within minutes. I went in person to see this storage facility and met Dina who was working the desk. She was so professional, thorough and efficient. She showed me the unit I was interested in, and answered all my questions. She thoroughly explained all the paperwork and the whole process went quickly without being rushed. She was also very courteous, which is invaluable. The storage unit and the entire facility was impressively clean, as well as easily accessible and by all appearances very well secured. I love that you can rent for one month if needed - it is month-to-month. And they pro-rate if you sign up in the middle of the month. I like a manager who says he wants my business and will do what he can, to work within my budget and as a result I am a new customer. I have my storage unit at this location since June of last year. I probably visited my unit 3 times over the last almost year and a half. On Tuesday I came in to get few items, tried to open the lock but it wouldn’t work. I didn’t have time that day to go to office and see why I am unable to get in. I called this morning and spoke to Dina property manager. I explained the situation and she went over the process. Getting locksmith to come in a break the lock would take anywhere from 5-7 days. That wouldn’t have work for me as I am leaving for Europe after Thanksgiving and needed things to take for my trip and most importantly all of my photos of my dog who was my life. He passed away less than 2 months. Dina was so helpful, was understanding and went out of her way to arrange locksmith to come on Monday. Her customer service was exceptional.Dina thank you again for all your help and making sure that I have my belongings for my trip.You are absolutely wonderful. 🌼

DO NOT USE PUBLIC STORAGE. Specially this Studio City location. I had a unit for 2+ years. I vacated the unit on March 1st at approximately 11am. When I went to close my account, they told me I had to pay for the whole month because it was already the 1st of the month. The manager was extremely rude about the situation adopting a I dont care, its in the contract attitude. When I called the regional manager Grace Kim, I received the same non-sympathetic response. I find this business model unacceptable. Im sure they are already renting the unit to someone else and they still go out of the way to steal my hard earned money for not even one day. Id rather pay their competitors more money and get treated like a human than give this company a single cent more. Its because of people like this why the world is in such great peril at the moment. Wheres the compassion? Wheres the kindness we so desperately need?

This is my 2nd time with rental unit here and the place is still great and I like the new technology with the application process as it’s simpler and much quicker.A week later, they discovered that my unit was improperly locked so they immediately secured and notified me. This place is safe and I’m glad they have security cameras, that they monitor and do walk through inspections. Dina and the rest of staff here are awesome!

Lupe is the best! She helped me find the perfect storage unit size and didn’t even seem annoyed that it took 4 tries to find it. She is always patient and as helpful as could be. (Other staff that I’ve encountered are also friendly and accommodating, I just don’t know them by name.) The parking at this location is very tight, but more often than not I’m able to get in and out with no issues. I less than love the access hours and they are strictly enforced, but at least I know that the property and my belongings are secure.

The manager, Chris, is really helpful and super nice. Facility was clean and organized. Renting a space there was a breeze. Joe and Chris were both helpful with all my needs (getting a cart to transfer stuff).About the only negative thing I could say is that the unit I reserved is on top and you need a rolling ladder to get to it, but I only needed a small space and actually it seems a bit safer being up high.I would definitely recommend this place simply because of the excellent customer service!

Chris and Joseph are best storage super heroes ever. Every time I come into office to buy merchandise they are always smiling, you can tell they enjoy coming to work. They are highly professional, the storage facility is always clean and the security is excellent. I never had a problem and my parents have been renting here for six years now. I had to move into a storage unit yesterday, and I had a wonderful experience with this facility. I have to say a HUGE thanks to both Jared and Renee for their amazing help with getting me a storage unit. They were both very accommodating and helpful in getting me the exact unit I needed at the promotional price also! And they made sure to explain to me every detail of my rental lease so I had no confusion at all what I was paying for and all the terms of my rental agreement as well.When Renee walked me to my unit she was very thorough in explaining all the details of the facilities operations (closing times, carts, etc), and answered any and all of my questions that I had. Very kind, courteous, and helpful. Then in the office, there had been some computer/technology problems that were occurring on their server, and they both were doing everything they could to address the problem so I could be on my way. (Renee was on one computer working on it while Jared was calling the IT hotline to get the problem situated also). It got resolved in no time and it felt great to know they really cared about the customer!Overall, I am so grateful for both of their help as they alleviated a lot of stress that moving can have. Later on in the afternoon Jared also helped us with finding a suitable parking spot for our truck and uhaul and helped guide the truck in. Exceptional customer service and great storage units (nice wide halls and doors). Very glad we choose this public storage unit.

I have been storing things here since early 2020, and just recently met the property manager Dina. She is AMAZING. I needed to move into a larger unit and she went above and beyond in helping me get situated with that and ensuring that the system moved me out in a timely manner. This location is really close to my house which makes it so convenient for me. Also, I will say that they keep the place surprisingly clean for a storage facility! Would totally recommend anyone to go in and see Dina if you plan to move your stuff into a storage facility!!

This was my 2nd storage unit to rent from PS. My first was in West Hollywood and was run by ladies. They were okay and did their job, but didnt seem as welcoming and warm. This facility was the best! Chris and Orlando rock since the first day I moved in at the end of June. They are super friendly, laid back and straightforward, and know me by name every time I come in. I thought that was just me but turns out they know a bunch of other customers by first name as well! Honestly how many businesses do that on a daily basis?! Every time I had to drop by for something, I just had to make a visit to their office and have a chat because theyre just so personable and great! Rent here! Its awesome!

When looking for a storage location online I ran across this property that had all good reviews and they mention a Joseph and a Chris by name so I had to see for myself if this storage location was top notch. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Joseph, He was a big help in finding me a storage space, I told him what I was storing and he told me exactly what size space I needed to rent and also what packing supplies I should purchase to fully take advantage of the storage space. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable and safe when he went over some of the safety features the facility holds. I will admit when he told me the price for the lock I was Iffy but once I got all the information on why the lock was one of the most important thing for safety, I didnt mind buying it. I highly recommend that you store at this location.

Chris & Orlando are always in great moods, say hello every time I see them and most importantly, Chris ALWAYS calls me to let me know when we havent locked our unit correctly! The building is clean and there were flat carts available to use to move our stuff. Small parking lot, but there wasnt any issues finding a place for our truck. Great experience! The storage facility is clean, quiet, and there are restroom facilities on site, I have been in and out of there many times in the past 4 months, what I was not expecting was how friendly the staff is. Nice to arrive and have a friendly face greet you and cheerfully give you help if you need it.Besides that one of Jareds colleagues recently informed me that he follows the stock market as do I, so we had one interesting talk about our mutual interest and expect many more exchanges to occur in the future.

I was annoyed when I was informed that I had to switch my storage unit due to remodeling of the facility. I decided to research where I would relocate, which would be to stay at the Oxnard facility, or somewhere more convenient. I call and visited the property at #20295. I met with a lady name Lupe, who gave me a tour, as well as to view units available with the same size as I requested. Lupe was very patient, engaging, friendly and accommodating. I chose a very nice unit, and told Lupe that I would go back to Oxnard to view what they had available. My experience at Public Storage for the last three months has been positive. I got a promotion of $1/1st month by reserving online and my unit is a 10x5 “short” accessible by a ladder. This might not work for everyone but it has been great for my needs. The location couldn’t be any better (101 Storage is the other one nearby) but I hadn’t signed up because I thought it would be much more expensive than others in Van Nuys, etc. I was surprised that with the promotion and the size of the unit, their rates were actually quite competitive and they are month-to-month due on the 1st and late fee on the 10th. Got rented a 10x15 unit that ended up being only 7x14 and was told by an EXTREMELY rude employee (who also gave me a fake name when I originally asked for her name) that the company can rent you a space smaller than you agreed to based on an estimated available space. The annoying part is that the company policy for dealing with any customer pushback is to quote the part of the contract that allows them to charge you whatever they feel like. Switched to one of their chain competitors (the green one) and am thrilled with their service. Oh, and I got an actual 10x15 for 80$ less a month.

A clerk by the name of Brie who had just transferred to the Studio City store was on duty. She took the time to greet me and offered to assist me with any possible question I had. She was extremely friendly and non intimidating. When I mentioned I only needed the two bankers boxes she immediately grabbed a couple of unmade ones and without hesitating put them together (built) them for me which was a big plus. I thought renting a storage locker was a straight forward deal and didnt expect there to be any level of customer service. Instead, my experience was like shopping at Nordstrom. NICE! also, at the other people using the unit were great and a man even helped me detach the hitch to my car, CARRY IT TO THE STREET with my boyfriend and reattached it after we had gotten successfully out of the lot!I RARELY write reviews but if you want to go to a place (and have never really used storage like my roomie and i) and you want a great experience where people are kind and accommodate and FIND WAYS TO SAVE YOU MONEY (not jip you) then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! As storage facilities go this one is by far the toughest parking I have ever seen. It’s a three story building with 2 usable parking spots. The other parking spots are waaaay to small to park my truck in. The building is clean and semi secure. I had a tiny space that required a rickety old ladder that is supplied by public storage that has probably been in use since the Reagan administration, of course they gladly raised the price of the unit with in the first year. I pulled my junk out of there and have been making space at home.

The staff at this location are the most unfriendly, incompetent, condescending group of people Ive ever met. They will not help you in any way, instead, they stress you out and frustrate you. Ive had a broken lock on the unit since June. I called it in and Joel, the worst of the staff, yelled at me about not knowing when it will be fixed. It is November now and still broken. When Ive called during the months in between to find out the status, I was again yelled at and told to contact their district manager who does not answer his phone. When I called this morning to tell them that the unit was empty and Id like to close it, Joel yelled at me and said there was still a lock on it. I tried to explain that there was not, it was removed the night before and he said it was there this morning. That was inaccurate, otherwise I would not have been able to lock my new unit at a different location. The service at this location is so bad, I really hope they restaff it for future customers.
