What can I say about Angie and Eric? Well, theyre both very helpful and welcoming. They made sure I had all the information I needed and their suggestions were the most beneficial for me. I was originally interested in a space at the Irwindale location, which coincidentally, is where Angie originated from. They set me up with a good deal at the Irwindale location. If youre looking for short-term or long-term storage, I can confidently recommend Public Storage as your go-to facility.

Last week me and my sister Virginia, went into the Azusa facility and was helped by Eric and was told some valuable information about transferring to a smaller unit to save money. I went back into the facility earlier today and was helped by Alyssa and Vanessa who were able to give me a discount on my monthly rent for 6 months. It’s going to be a huge help since me and my sister are struggling financially at the moment. Thank you for giving great customer service! I’ve only ever had great service by all of the property managers here at this facility!!

My setup experience for my storage was great! With the wonderful help from Vanessa, it was fast and easy. She was very welcoming as soon as I walked through the doors. That was a total plus. I came in the other day debating if I wanted to upgrade my unit or not, and I spoke with Marki. She was an absolute delight to work with. Wasn’t so pushy on trying to upgrade me and was showing me options on what variety they have to offer. Gave me all the information I needed to make the right decision. I will be back because I truly think I need the room. I’ll be asking for Marki since she was too kind and gave EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE! I even referred some family and friends who needed some extra space!

We just finished renting the space in public storage in Azusa location. Marki helped us throughout the whole process. She gave us a tour and patiently explained every details and important information to us. She is extremely helpful and thoughtful. We like to rent a space near the door and it was difficult to complete that through e-register. She patiently instructed us step by step and finally we booked that place. I would say we had very nice experience here with all the workers there. Highly recommended

Ive had a storage unit there for 3 years. In that 3 years Ive had my unit burglarized twice now. They will swear up and down that their property is secure. The only 2 cameras they have there couldnt even pull a license plate from the vehicles suspected of the thefts. If you think having an indoor unit is safe its not. The thieves rented a unit inside and hid inside the unit until they closed having access to the facility after hours. Oh you have a nice heavy duty lock on your unit? Dont bother, they will just drill out the rivets on the door slider rendering your locks useless. If you want your items stolen rent a unit here. If you dont, look elsewhere.

If I could leave zero stars I would. You would think a big name in the storage facility world like Public Storage would have more advanced surveillance, but what I was told was that their security footage runs second by second, with no method to fast forward or rewind.My unit got vandalized and 10 years of my life in what others would consider stuff or junk but holds precious memories to me is now gone. I had to call the police myself and was told that I needed a suspect, when I asked Public storage staff, they informed me that they were not obligated to assist me and that when they do have time, they will check the camera footage (second by second in real time) to see if they can find a suspect. No status updates or anything. You would think with the crazy price hikes they charge their tenants that they can afford more advanced surveillance equipment or even more cameras.To add salt to injury, the police (Azusa Police Department) informed me that there was ANOTHER robbery at that very facility a few days before and that they were able to quickly find the suspect (through surveillance), locate them and is about ready to go and arrest them. How am I to feel about this? Not only were they insensitive, they also implied (to me at least) that for all they know, I could have relocated my things and am trying to claim insurance fraud!Unfortunately for me, my lock got picked and half my storage completely wiped out. There were no signs of external tampering, but that was PRECISELY why I needed surveillance footage proof. I mean, my storage unit was right in front of the elevator. There has to be evidence of someone opening and closing my storage unit during the period I did not go there.So in the end, what am I left with? Heartache, frustration, anger (at myself and at whoever stole my stuff), and disappointment in what I thought was a safe place to store my items considering how famous their name is.

Friendly staff overall but when you run into an issue with your unit, that is where the problem comes in with the way the company handles the issue. Not only do they not provide reassurance for your property but all they do if give you a pamphlet and hand you off to the local police that tells you that it is your responsibility to deal with the insurance and police. This location also tells you different things. For example my situation, I had two incidents, first incident occurred when I was on vacation, when I return my storage was vandalized with no visible signs. I reported it to the office and filed the report with the police and I get this back and forth about how video footage is acquired. Ive asked the Azusa Police to step in to ask for assistance and they said that it is not their responsibility to ask the facility for footage and then I have asked the facility to assist with the footage in where they said that its only if they have time and that the police will need to request for footage and they would then sit through it. They informed me that their local system has no fast forward and that its view second by second and so it would take time. The only other way would be to request for the footage from HQ that they would provide in a USB in which the insurance company would not do. During the second incident, There is now visible signs of tampering and should have been an incident that occurred within the last 24 hours but still no footage nor did the local Azusa police do anything to request for footage. The interesting thing is that this time around, I am told that the office camera system does have a way to download the incident with the request of the police because they have a special code. Why was this not disclosed during the first incident? It is not about what I have lost but about the principle of how the company takes care of their tenants. I just want those that do take the time to read this, to consider, do they want to pay for a space and pay for insurance for a service that is flawed if anything were to happen because its evident that they will do very little to help. They dress it up all pretty but nothing actually gets resolved so your only option is to just move out. I was with them for over 2 years so take that into consideration and think long and hard if you are planning to make it a long term stay and if you have anything of value. Definitely do not put in any collectibles.

I reserved 2-10x20 units with Public Storage, Azusa coming from the state of Maryland to California with one of my units removed without notifying me and 2 employees failing to provide the correct information when I reserved the units. I complained to corporate, Customer Care and the Escalation Office with no help or discounts for no fault of my own. I have talked to many more people with one employee hanging up the phone on me until I spoke with the Property Manager Vanessa and Maviene. These two ladies were off the hook. They were professional, patient, considerate, caring and made me feel so good after what I had gone through. I thank both ladies and May God bless them from turning a bad situation into a better one with their skills of communication and responsibilities. Great job ladies. I am well deserving of a reasonable credit for what I have gone through. Public Storage should make sure that happens.

I can honestly say the best service we have received has been within the past year from Marlene & Vanessa (young, nice dark haired gals that last helped us May 1st 2022.) These two ladies go above and beyond to be kind and considerate - even when there are numerous customers waiting to be helped - they assisted us with quite a few changes on our space. They listened to our concerns, explained process & protocols and went out of their way to ensure our needs had been met. This place deserves negative stars. I rented a storage place in this facility, and move-in was ok. For a month, this place was ok, with just a few hiccups. Their entry gates had frequent problems with either being directly broken or not working well with their Bluetooth app. I would try accessing the Bluetooth gate several times with their app with no success.Today I was called and told that my code was used so someone could access the premises and steal from several units. I have given my code to no one but my wife, so I must assume that their buggy Bluetooth access to the gates through their app is unsecure and the thieves stole my code. Instead of dealing with their problems, they told me to move everything out of the premises within 48 hrs. Further, they would not email me the information and put everything in writing. Save your time, money, energy, and sanity, and find yourself actual professional storage facilities.Now I have to put my scientific research into saving patients from kidney damage on hold because of these knuckleheads and move all my stuff.Dr. James McMullen, Ph.D.

First off, I would like to mention Ive used several different self storage companies but this is the first time Ive used public storage.I made my reservation online which was easy and seamless. Tabitha, the manager, called me to make sure I had everything I needed to make sure I had a good experience with my move-in to the storage.When I came in, Tabitha was extremely helpful, professional and personable. She helped me feel confident with my choice. She walked me through every step of the way and even checked up on me when I was unloading my U-Haul. They even have a bathroom (my last unit at another company didnt).The facilities were very clean and everything was in working order. Also, the several layers of security to get to my storage unit provided me with much reassurance that my belongings would be safe.Surprisingly, this was also the most affordable storage unit in the area even though they offer so much more. I can really tell the employees at this facility take pride in their customer service and keeping the facility safe, clean and secure. I highly value customer service above all else and Tabitha definitely hit the nail on the head with how she treated me like a new friend and not just another number.I definitely would recommend public storage to friends and family.

But one lady calls like an angry social worker, even when your balance isnt far due. I dont know who she is because she also hangs up. But I dont want to mix her up with the very nice woman who calls. Not sure whats going on there. I did bump heads before with an upper manager. I had 5 Stars for a long time. Im gonna take it down a few stars. I dont like getting treated like trash for nothing. That was just so weird.

I have estate property that I acquired in a probate matter that is stored at this facility. I am not one who gives reviews, but under the circumstances, I feel I must. The manager, Ricardo, along with the others (Lydia, Crystal, and Freddie (?)) in the office when I was there at various times, had treated me with complete kindness. My family has been customers of this Public Storage since about 2014. Though this unit is a little far from us, weve stayed because of the good price and the great service. Really grateful to the staff who help us close out our unit. They were really accommodating with the truck that came to remove our stuff and were flexible when we needed. I walked into this location looking for a quote but the staff was so friendly and laid back I ended up getting a unit. Very happy with this Public Storage location. Tabitha, Anessa & Katelyn were all very helpful. Tabitha took me around to all the open units that fit my criteria. At no point did I feel like she was being pushy or trying to sell me something. Trevor and Dorthy were great, explained in detail and made the process easy. When I searched on the website for a deal, I saw the offer and made a decision to sign up with Public Storage, a company that has been around for a long time, but I thought the offer on the website was misleading, It says Total Cost to Move In is: $23 But once arrived there were several other fees that was not clearly stated. I ended up paying $51.61 Which is completely different than what I was expecting to pay. This is the only concern I had, a total surprise once I arrive. It would be nice to know what to expect of any additional fees that might be added, so we are prepared upon arrival.The Customer service is amazing, I appreciated both Trevor and Dorthy for their Professionalism and friendliness.

My experience was always pleasant with the staff and the property was always neatly maintained. The manager Aiman is the best. She was always willing to go out of her way and do anything she possibly could to help at any time. The customer service she provided was always top notch. As it was plain to see even through her staff. The staff always maintained the high standards that Aimen provided on a daily basis. There is not another storage facility in the area that I would recommend before this one. And I have lived in this area for over 20 years and have used several other places in the area, but there are none that compare to this Azusa site. Ajman and all the stall go out of their way to help. We have been there almost 20 years. We were there before the inside facilities were built. We move to the inside when they were finished and moved again last year to a bigger unit, in all that time the quality of customer service has never changed. The facility is always clean. We have been all over that property and never seen rodent droppings.The lights always work and the building is always clean. We have honestly looked at other storage site because they are 10 miles from out home. But we have never found anyplace including some other Public Storage facilities that consistently other the quality of service this facility does. We are very satisfied with location, I dont think they you will find better. I highly recommend them to you.

Dorothy was very pleasant when showing me the various sizes of units available for my storage. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Since I was undecided about securing a unit at that moment, she suggested that I reserve one online as they would hold it for 7 days, which is long enough for me to make a decision. I did reserve a unit at a special online price, unfortunately, your computer system was not able to apply that pricing when I came in to get the unit. The district manager was called and was not able to figure out why your system couldnt identify the special online pricing. As such, a credit has to be applied to my account every month for the difference. I was not happy with this resolution. Aside from the staff, who are always very helpful at all times, I am dissatisfied with the following:Unable to have 24-hour access to the unitNo access to carts after closing hoursHaving to leave 2 forms of ID just to get a cart (during office hours)Having to get out of vehicle to enter code to open gate (should have been on drivers side)Having to enter code to get out of the area. Gates should be automatic exit.Having to enter code to call the elevatorInability to get to office without having to drive outside. There is a gate but no door handle to open it to exit.Inability to leave premises if in storage unit near or little after 9pm (there should not be a time limit to exit or at least extend it to midnight). You do not allow enough time for working people to put things and organize their storage unit.Thank you.

As I sat this morning and had my coffee I was reading the reviews for this property and I will tell you that these reviews were posted before most of these tenants moved in. I have been at the public storage for 2 1/2 years and I have had issues from day one.The first issue is the cart usage. You have to give them your drivers license before taking a cart because they are locked up and you only have access to them during business hours. In the evenings, if there is 2 employees, they will usually leave for a half hour or so and you have to wait till they return to get your license back. I am a DJ and on 4 occasions I was very late because I had to wait for the staff to give me my license back.The prices you pay coming in will not remain the same. I started out paying $129 for a 10x10 and as right now I am paying $178 for the same space. The rents will increase periodically so beware of that.If the gate is broken you wont have access to your storage after the staff leaves at 6pm. I had to rent equipment for an event because I didnt have access to my storage after hours. I arrived at Public Storage at 7:15pm on a Friday night. My gig was at 10pm. To find that kind of equipment that late at night is virtually impossible. Thanks to Guitar Center I was able to get some equipment from them.The staff is frequently unavailable in the evenings and when they are showing storage units so be aware of that. As of today 1-31-18 I am moving out of this facility because I have had enough. For the amount of money you pay you do not get your monies worth. I would do my research before renting here. Make sure to read the reviews carefully. You will find that those who have rented here have similar issues.BTW: I hate leaving bad reviews. Maybe this will make them aware of what the customers are experiencing and make the proper changes to better serve them.

After losing my key, I asked if they were able to help me, as they should be able to get into their own units. According to them, they couldnt do it and I had to hire a lock Smith if I wanted it done today, or buy a new lock from them and their manager would then do it for me... once the next month started. (Which was 3 days away, it was going to take 5-7 days, in which I had to pay for another month because of timeframes.) I had also (but I have poor memory) asked when I first lost the key, what I would do (this being the middle of the month) and they told me the same thing I would have to buy a new lock from them (20$) and the manager would do it but it would take 2-3 weeks (again, putting me having to pay another full month) the locksmith came and said they (meaning the workers) have a way to get into their units it was just another way to get another month of money out of me, (which how they handled it) does not prove them wrong.

The company has not always made me happy but she has always made things better too the point that I havent moved yet. I hope you appreciate her as an employee. Got a storage over summer and Janette was really helpful assisting me with my first storage experience. Got a good unit from the front building and the facility was climate controlled, so my stuff didn’t get dirty / damaged. Too bad I wasn’t able to get a storage on the lower floor/s coz mine was on the third. They have elevators though, but still tiring lol insurance was optional too and the online account/payment was really convenient.

Husband and I were very please with the service provided at this location. We need a rather large space and looked at a storage facility nearby, but it was awful. As we were heading home, we saw this place and checked it out online. We were able to make a reservation for the exact size space we need; we got an email confirmation immediately, and within 30 minutes had received a phone call to make an appointment to meet the staff, see the space, and sign a lease. At the facility we met Chris, who was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us a tour of the facility and our space - all very clean, explained the details of our lease, offered email copies of the receipt and lease agreement (I hate paper!), and explained how to make payments online. He showed us how to access our space most easily, and seemed genuinely pleased to do business with us. I highly recommend this facility.

It did well despite all the screw ups with the climate control, people breaking in, broken gates, etc. Theyve got new staff from district down so may be this will get better. The biggest draw back though is there only loyalty they give you is raising your rates every few months. :/
