Ive been working with Dr. Dylan Kumar for the better part of a year now and I couldnt be happier. I came to him after experiencing a slew of serious health issues, including back pain, knee pain, and joint issues, and working with him has been essential to getting back on my feet - literally and figuratively. I had been stubborn for a long time, figuring that I could manage on my own - after all, I had been to the gym plenty of times in my life and thought I knew what I was doing. But when I started PT with him, I immediately realized how much his knowledge, expertise, and personalized attention made a difference in how I felt and how much energy I had on a day-to-day basis. I also realized how incomplete my own knowledge about my physical health was, and how much of an impact working with a DPT makes. On top of the purely physical improvements to my health Ive seen, Dylan has also been extremely patient and effective in helping me build a more effective mental game when it comes to exercise - one built on the foundations of patience and persistence. Before starting sessions with Dylan, I had been missing out on so much for so long, and Im extremely glad I have been able to work with him. I know the journey to fully regain my own health is still a long-haul effort, but its shorter and feels more manageable working with a professional. To those on the fence about starting PT, Id enthusiastically encourage you to start, and if you have the opportunity, work with Dylan!

Dylan is a fantastic PT and was able to help me make significant gains on chronic shoulder, neck, and back issues over the course of six months.I dealt with pain, tightness, and limited mobility across my upper back for about a year before I started working with Dylan. Ultimately, I decided to start working with him as stress from work was triggering acute pain. Dylan was able to help me make progress on pain management in our first session. From there, the daily and weekly exercises he gave me allowed me to build up towards more and heavier weights exercises in my own lifting routines.I’d recommend Dylan to anyone who is trying to deal with acute or chronic issues. He’ll show you how to manage pain or discomfort, improve strength and mobility, and build better habits.

I saw Roland for PT after I broke my ankle and was in a cast for five weeks. Roland was wonderful to work with and made the whole experience really enjoyable! If I ever had questions about exercises, he’d explain in amazing detail why we were doing certain routines and how to perform them effectively. If I ever had issues with new pain, we’d talk through it and adjust any exercises in my plan accordingly. Most importantly, I always felt like he actually cared for my progress and well being! I was actually kind of sad when my PT ended because our sessions were so great. And if I ever break another bone or injure myself, I’m definitely going to try and see him again 😄

I am a 55-year-old active woman. I have been an avid runner, hiker, and periodic resistance trainer for over 30 years. However, I have also had many injuries over that time, including sciatica for the past five years or so that I attributed to not stretching enough. I made my first appointment with Dylan after seeing my doctor for a back problem (herniated disc) and persistent shoulder pain waking me up at night in excruciating pain for months (shoulder/biceps tendonitis). My expectations for PT were low, but I knew it was time to do something. I met with Dylan, and he tested my mobility and discussed a plan. The mobility conversation was new to me, but I was on board for anything that would get me out of pain. I have been seeing Dylan (first every week and now every two weeks) for over five months now, and I can honestly say I am extremely impressed by the results. I am no longer in any pain, I feel stronger, run faster, and can sleep through the night again. After about 2 months and seeing amazing results, I brought my daughter (a former gymnast who suffers from chronic back pain) to see him. She has seen many other physical therapists over the last 10 years, so resisted at first. She is now also amazed by the results she is seeing. I don’t think there is a way to express how incredible it feels to be pain-free and how thankful I am to have found Dylan. On top of being a skilled practitioner, he is also a genuinely nice person and easy to talk to. I can’t recommend him enough.

In October 2023 I had a pretty bad case of Sciatica that had been lingering for a few weeks. Primarily stemming from a hockey injury, combined with lots of air travel/driving/sitting that made it worse. I was trying everything I could at home to fix it but nothing was working and life was miserable, put my socks on was torture!! I searched many different websites looking for the right PT fit for me based on customer reviews and came across Pro+Kinetix which had everything i was looking for, so I gave it a shot and had my first consultation with Dr. Dylan Kumar. From that first meeting, going over all of my symptoms and past injuries, etc, I really felt at ease with Dylan, great listener, understanding and very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what the issues were with me and laid out a road map to recovery and my goal of getting back on the ice in the near future. Having a slow and steady approach of basic exercises to help strengthen certain muscle groups that were weak and a main cause of my sciatica was definitely the key to success for me. Each week I would see Dylan he would gradually tweak the exercises and increase the intensity as i would get stronger and less pain from the sciatica. Over the course of a couple of months, I was feeling so much better with little to no pain, and by January I was back on the ice again and feeling great. Ive continued to see Dylan regularly over the past 6 months to keep up with a program so that I dont fall back into old habits, and never have to experience the crippling pain of sciatica again, and his programs have been working wonders for me.I highly recommend Dr Dylan Kumar for any Physical Therapy & Performance training you need. He has been amazing to work with and Im so thankful to have crossed paths with him. Thank you Dylan!!

I am a 35 year old moderately active man. I am primarily a backpacker with thousands of miles under my (hip) belt, but also occasionally run marathons and go on multi-week bicycle trips. I also sit at a desk most of the day and skip leg day and mobility work far too often. That caught up with me last summer while training to hike the Colorado Trail when I developed some ankle and heel pain that I couldn’t get to go away. Several months later, having tried everything on my own and still sidelined, I figured it was time to get some real help.I came in to see Dr. Dylan Kumar and within a few weeks was already starting to notice improvements! He set me up with a plan based around my goals and worked with me to slowly build back strength, mobility, and stability in my lower body. Dylan was a joy to work with and tailored my plan and exercises based on what was working best for me. Hundreds of different exercises and variations later I feel stronger than I have in years, have a better understanding of proper form, and feel confident applying what I learned to continue to progress on my own. Can’t recommend enough!

Thanks to Dr. Dylan and Pro+Kinetix for helping me recover in months from years of shoulder problems! I had almost given up after trying two other PTs and not making significant progress, but tried Pro+Kinetix based on a recommendation from a friend who is a PT in another state. Dylan honed in on the basic issue in the first session, and I made more progress in the first 2 weeks than I had in the previous year. Im now back to my favorite athletic activities without fear or pain.Cost is quite reasonable with my insurance coverage, and I appreciate the full hour sessions (as opposed to 30 mins with my old PT). The gym is full-featured and a nice environment to train in. Off-street parking is safe and free. Highly recommended.

Dr. Dylan Kumar exceeded my expectations of working with a PT for ACL surgery recovery. I tore my ACL at 38, and was very concerned about effective recovery. Dylan has been an awesome PT to work with, and has helped create a customized recovery plan based on my goals and strengths. The experience with Dylan at Pro+Kinetix is in stark contrast to traditional PTs that hand you off to an assistant to follow a rote routine in the office; Dylan has worked with me for the entirety of my sessions, and I always come out feeling stronger and well-set for the next stage of recovery.

Dr Dylan Kumar is the best. This was my 3rd physical therapist post ACL repair and my favorite. I came in with a goal of being able to snowboard in 3 months and walk up the stairs without pain, and it was accomplished. He is super attentive and thorough. He is always checking in and asking questions in order to make the proper adjustments to do the most with the least discomfort. You get a full 60 mins with just him every week. The consistency and attention is crucial for progress. Even after I left the area, he made sure I had a thorough exercise plan to continue to progress, and he’s repeatedly checked in to offer guidance or answer any questions. My improvement with him was significantly more and quicker than my previous PT. Would 110% recommend.

I have always experienced a significant amount of restriction in my hips throughout my adult life. For a while it didnt impede on my ability to live a healthy and active life, so I sort of chalked it up to it just being my anatomy and an area to be cautious around. But at 33, and after increasing my exercise regiment, I began experiencing increased knee pain that was affecting my quality of life.It was a knee pain that kept me from doing normal activities without noticing it. Sitting cross-legged felt like my knee was going to burst from the pressure. Going on a hike left it feeling tight and tender for an entire day. And strengthening/stretching the surrounding areas did not seem to do any good. Eventually, I saw a PT at Kaiser, and they essentially dismissed it as a bone bruise that should go away with time. That didnt sit right with me, as I have had injuries in the past, and this felt like something different. Thats when I started researching sports physical therapists and stumbled upon Pro+Kinetix.I met Dr. Dylan for my consultation, and after a fairly brief examination, he seemed to immediately know that the pain I was experiencing was not from an acute injury but from poor movement patterns/joint position. My hips lacked internal rotation, so all of my movement relied on compensation from the surrounding areas. This eventually put too much strain on the lateral side of my knee, and eventually moving down to my ankle was well.Dr. Dylan created a routine tailored to my specific needs each week. We started with the basics of proper movement in minimal ranges of motion and gradually worked up to a more extensive workout program. For me, the goal was to open up more space in the hip socket to allow for greater hip internal rotation, engaging the muscles that for years have been barely firing. The process is slow, and definitely not linear, but I immediately started to have a better understanding of healthy movement patterns and an increase in strength in areas that I never realized were so weak. Overtime, the knee pain became nearly non-existent.Since working with Dr. Dylan, I have felt the strongest and most mobile I ever have in my life. I am unlocking new ranges of motion each week, increasing strength in my entire body, but most importantly being educated during the entire process. I now feel well equipped to face any sort of setbacks or limitations that arise from training. If youre considering PT, just go to Pro+Kinetix and you 100% wont regret it.
