We recently installed a new central heating and air system, and Sherm was our salesman. He was so amazing very informative no high-pressure sales just a super impressive gentleman that knows his job extremely well. He spent plenty of his time coming out a few times to chat with us to make sure we got what we wanted and really an excellent choice. We were actually referred here from some friends and we did get two other contractors to come out at. We’re such a joke I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They were so bad.Just extremely good customer service and could not send good things about pro air

They did a fantastic job installing our new Lennox split system! The installers were very professional and friendly & went the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied with the new system. Recently had new hvac and water heater and all new ducts and registers replaced. Sherm was very helpful and informative in selecting systems. No B.S. told it like it was and provided everything and then some without hidden fees at the end. Installation crew were friendly and respectful and very tolerant to our pets and curious grandkids asking a million questions. As 7 yr Olds do. Would recommend them to anyone seeking this kind of work.

We needed a complete HVAC system replacement... Pro Air was our choice for the job. Sherm and his crew were amazing. Their honesty and integrity, their commitment to the customer. The job was completed on time and in a professional manner... I had a couple other companies trying to sell just price,(the old price match guarantee) but stayed with Pro Air because they were just straight with me from the get go. Pros: Time, attention, honesty, loyalty, and effort.Needing a complete HVAC system replacement... we based our choice from the reviews read online this site, and Next Door. Also, reviewed the Lennox Systems available and ratings. Sherm, the Pro-Air owner, understood our issues and proposed a couple solutions. His team lead by the amazing Jose and Pablo, met each obstacle, reconfigured the duct system and installed new A/C and furnace. The ceiling registers were new sizes, so they were left with us to paint until final day of install so they would match interior colors. They were installed and left the job site super clean. Sherm’s ultimate goal was that we were happy with how our new system performed… QUIET, valuable (10 yr parts /compressor and 20 yr heat exchanger warranty), and energy saving. They let us know when they would be here and what to expect; very considerate. Great follow-thru! Appreciate Pro-Air!

Sherm and his team were wonderful.We started the summer with two weeks of a sauna for a house. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I put the project up on Thumbtack. Sherm was one of the professional replies and I told him how desperate we were. He was at our house within literally minutes! He assessed the situation, gave us rough estimates of three levels of options, and even tuned up the air conditioner a bit so we would have a few days of relief while we decided what option we might go with.With no pressure at all, he got back to us within a day with full work ups of three options and price points to choose from. As soon as we decided which to go with, he immediately scheduled and the team came out and worked tirelessly to get the job done for us. We decided to go with the full overhaul of new air unit, furnace, and duct work.We have been sitting pretty here with this wonderful system. It is so cool that I almost feel guilty for being so spoiled with it. The system even has a touch screen for controlling it. If there are issues with the system, it sends ProAir a report signal that we require maintenance!I am so happy with the work that was done and it was worth every penny. Thank you!

I highly recommend Pro-Air. I have used them to install new HVAC systems on 2 different houses. Sherm is exceptionally honest and trustworthy. He is knowledgeable and professional. Having to replace your HVAC system is a bummer but he made it really easy and seamless. He even loaned us a small air conditioning unit to keep us comfortable until our install date. So impressed.

Starting from the first call with Mindy, followed by Sherm and then Jose and Pablo, they were the best. We had an extremely old HVAC system that was over 40 years old. Sherm came in and provided an estimate. His estimate was very competitive. I really didn’t have to shop around. Moreover I was already very comfortable with the service I had started receiving when Sherm came in to check in on our old AC. The heat wave was too much for it to take and it needed replacement. Within a couple days, the contract was signed and a day later Jose and Pablo came to start the work. It was the best experience I have had. They were the most hard working, honest and accommodating people and such gentlemen. Our old heating unit was very big and in a closet in the house. We decided to go with a heat pump in the attic. They did such an amazing job and checked in with me on preference when there were options. I truly appreciate Sherm and his people for the 5+ star service they provided and would recommend them to anyone who needs services from them.

I would highly recommend Proair for your heating/AC needs. Sherm is very knowledgeable and gave us several options to choose from explaining the pros & cons of each without any pushy salesmanship. His ultimate goal is that you are happy with how your system performs. He is especially adept at configuring venting & duct work so that the air is evenly distributed throughout the house. Jose & Pablo did a fantastic job with the installation. They let you know when they’ll be there & what to expect and are very considerate.

I am so grateful for this company. I looked up this company online after my home warranty failed to find me a company that I could trust earlier this year. I had suspicions on how long my unit would hold up in the first place as I was having trouble with it years prior and it was a struggle to find a company to get on my roof. Originally Sherm installed a thermostat and from what my husband told me he is very professional, knowledgeable, and kind so I kept them in mind for future. This is the second time we have requested service from them. Just this week Sacramento reached all time record highs of 116 degrees. Our AC unit was not working and it got over 100 degrees in our home. Was super bad timing as we had carpet installation the day before so moving all my furniture was miserable in the heat. They have so much compassion. I spoke with Mindy on the phone and after telling them that I would wait a week or longer if I had to for their company to be able to service my unit a call was made to Sherm and he was out the very next day. This means so much to my family as my husband and I are expecting a baby and I had made plans for furniture deliveries and house projects that week for my nursery. Ultimately we will have to replace our unit as it has serious damage but for the mean time Sherm has it working. I do plan on moving forward with replacing our unit and I can think of no other company I would trust more. I just want to say that this company is exactly what you hope to get when dealing with such a major purchase/job. From the moment I met sherm I knew I was going with his company not to mention he blew away the the other bids we had and added a brand new water heater. Sherm worked with us in getting us as many rebates as he could. No other company even offered. Sherm brought us a portable ac while the work was being done. Saved us from a lot of hot nights. Sherms team was impeccable. These guys were so amazing and explained everything we could possibly want to know. They recognized faults in the ducting work and reengineered our ducting to create more air flow. Huge difference! They did top notch work and i honestly can’t say enough about how amazing they were. Also, they left the job site spotless. Super clean.The price never changed from beginning to end. I’m so thankful that I got this company. We had to replace two HVAC systems and some underperforming ducts due to age and the repair bills. Sherm really worked with us taking into consideration our budget and what needed to be accomplished. His team was so professional and both Sherm and his team members answered our many questions to our satisfaction. I cant recommend them highly enough. If you have some challenging heating and cooling issues with your home (and we sure did), check with Pro-Air. Their proposal had a number of options that allowed us to get two great systems that met our needs.

We were in need of replacing our A/C and Furnace. Pro-Air came to the rescue! They drafted a variety of proposals to choose from so we could make the best decision for our budget. Sherm, the owner, was very hands on and was available to answer questions and responded even when I had questions after hours. I wanted to share how pleased I was will Sherman and his staff. Our AC unit had gone out on us during the heat of the summer. I gave Pro-Air a call, and by the next day we had an appointment. Sherman came to our house with great enthusiasm to share his knowledge, he was very professional, and you could see how passionate he is about his job. He was also kind enough to give us some refrigerant in the meantime which kept us cool, while we got our application approved, and a date set for his staff to come and complete the project. His staff arrived prompt, worked extremely hard, and were very professional. They did a complete project of replacing our AC, furnace, duct work, and installed a whole house fan. We were very pleased with the end result. All the equipment is high quality, and now we can turn our unit on with our phones. Fancy!!! I also want to mention that we got a few different quotes, and Pro-Air by far was the Best and prices are reasonable. I have to be honest, I was pleased with a competitor Service Champions customer service, but their prices are Outrageous. I would definitely look around before making a decision, but once you meet Sherman, you will have to look no further. If you’re looking for an HVAC company stop searching and just call Pro-Air. Sherm and his team are awesome! Needed to replace my old 35 yr old HVAC unit and furnace after they both went out right in the middle of summer. After getting my first estimate I called Pro-Air for a second opinion. It was a night and day experience. Not once did I feel like Sherm was trying to sell me something I didn’t need. The other (big name) company sent what felt like a salesperson, trying to get me to approve upgrades to my system that weren’t necessary and hounded me with phone calls even after I told him I wanted a second opinion. Scheduling was easy and they showed up when they said they would. The two workers that came out were amazing! They got both my old units out, new ones in and I had cold air the same day. I won’t be calling anyone else.

We needed to replace our forty year heating and 20 year air conditioning units along with the air ducts. After getting other bids we decided to have Pro-Air Inc. perform the work. Sherm, the owner, explained in detail, the options that were available and gave us an estimate that worked for us. The two employees, Jose and Pablo, who removed the old equipment and installed the new equipment, were very professional and communicated with us as they performed their work. Our AC stopped cooling when we got up this morning. Called Pro-Air and left a message to contact us when they open. They called back right away and told us Sherm would be by TODAY after 1 PM to find out what was going on. Sherm arrived just before 1 PM and was able to diagnose and correct the problem in 10 minutes! To say we are impressed with Pro-Air would be an understatement. I highly recommend Pro-Air.

Sherm came out to my home, the morning after I called Pro Air, on my broken down 30 year old Carrier AC. This happened to be during a string of 100+ degree days, of course. I needed a new AC, which I already knew, but the beauty of it is Sherm said he could have it installed in two days. He gave me a price for the new AC and I told him I wanted to get two more estimates first, which I did. Pro Air blew the socks off the two other Lennox dealers, in price, both said there was no way they could match, or even come close to Pro Air’s price. Sherm sent two top notch technicians, in Jose and Pablo, who were both very professional and neat, cleaning up after themselves. Sherm stayed in contact with his workers and with me. I highly recommend this company.

Called as soon as they opened, spoke to a very nice lady, she had me check a few things to see what was working, told me they had a busy day and had no openings till the next day, but that a tech would be in my area around a certain time frame and would come by if he could. Technician showed up and had it fixed in no time. He was fast efficient and very nice. I was happy with what I paid too, thought it might be more, glad it wasn’t. I will definitely use them again. And I recommend them to everyone who needs air conditioning repairs.

Had a top of the line Lennox system and new duct work installed last year. Pro-Air had the best price by far in the 3 bids for the same system from other top of the line vendors. I was amazed at the quality of the workmanship when I went up in the attic to view the new system compared to my previous Lennox install 20 years ago. Pro-Air did not appear to take any shortcuts and did the install above and beyond what I would have expected and probably accepted. Sherm is a very personable man and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire his company again for any HVAC work I may need in the future.

Last summer we had to replace our HVAC unit. After getting a couple quotes we decided to go with Sherm at Pro-Air. Sherm is very knowledgeable and personable not to mention that his quote was the most competitive on a new Lennox system. The work was completed quickly and professionally. It has now been 6 months and I and still very happy that I chose to go with Pro-Air. I have since had to contact Sherm to ask him a question on how-to with the new unit and he is always very welcoming and never acts like it is an inconvenience. We were in the market to replace our 45 years old unit. We picked spring season to hunt for air conditioner replacement. Once we have been visited by Pro-Air, we both knew we have our choice. As we agreed to terms, the AC replacement day approached quickly, and the installation went smoothly. As we learned a lot of necessary things needed to be changed in order make our unit run quietly end efficiently. Been using the new super efficient unit a month now, and it works great! Hardly noticeable when it runs, and just paid my first SMUD bill. Yes, it works better than expected. Pro-Air has taking care of the SMUD rebate, and it took off the asking price, we have gotten 4K rebate! Not only the best deal of the year, the best package, installation, and costumer support as well as a friendly guys all around. We are going to be costumers for life. No need to look any further.

No muss, no fuss, no rolling of eyes or wringing of hands!!!We dialed a number in an ad in our modular-home park flyer and hit it lucky! Sherm Grady, owner of Pro Air, in our area, recently replaced the complete HAV system in our home and we couldn’t be happier. The old system was falling apart, leaking tons of expensive freon, and the ductwork under the house was in terrible condition, though we had no clue till the technicians crawled under and ended up having to tear it all out.Here’s what’s nice: Sherm came on a Thursday, explained what he would do and had the techs here the following Tuesday. They completed the work Wednesday afternoon and managed somehow to keep the house comfortable in 100 degree weather.Sherm’s Pro Air is a cool (!) operation from beginning to end. Over decades, that has not commonly been our experience with HAC companies. Sherm lays out exactly what will be done and why, and the cost, and writes it out. He doesn’t hem and haw about surprising extras that crop up. Refreshing.Jose and Pablo, the expert techs who did the installation, were so comfortable to work with that we felt fine with their having to be back and forth in the house. They are resourceful and imaginative in solving installation problems that aren’t in the training manuals, some requiring trips to Home Depot. My wife said to emphasize that they are respectful and courteous. There was at least half a day’s extra work with the ducts under the house, crawling around in dirt with hardly any clearance, and never a murmur or hint of disgruntlement,.With Pro Air there’s no need for a second opinion.

Sherm and his wife, who I dealt with on the phone, could not have been nicer. I responded to a google search ad and Sherm arrived in the time frame I was given. He was thorough and had heat flowing in a matter of minutes. He also took down a part # in case the adjustment he made did not work. Told me to call if there were any more problems and he would order the part and return to install it. However, we have had no further problems. Another plus was he was reasonably priced. He and his wife started this business in the 80s and have built and cared for it. I like supporting the small businesses when we can, and his knowledge of the system was spot on. I would recommend calling Pro-Air if you have any heating or air conditioning problems

After having a well known company out to check my A/C and telling me it just needed a cleaning for $995, I called proair out they instantly new my blower motor was going out by the smell also noticed settings were all wrong. Told me let’s try correcting settings before we replace the motor just to be sure. Unfortunately the motor went out that night, gave them a call they ordered the motor and were out the next afternoon installing it. Air conditioning is working awesomely. Sherm Grady, owner of Pro-Air Heating & Air Conditioning, is masterful. We had a terrible heating & cooling system that was already installed when we purchased our new home a number of years ago. Never worked well, frequently breaking down, SMUD bills of $400-$500/month for a 2800 sq foot, 2 story, 4 year old home. We met with many businesses for replacement of our system. Finally settled on Pro-Air & Sherm. Sherms advantage: he has worked in the field of heating/air conditioning for years, repairing, installing as well as selling. He completely re-did our entire system with fantastic & reliable equipment (reasonable cost) with upstairs & downstairs zones. No fuss, no mess. Completed quickly, efficiently, and properly from the outset. He helped us obtain excellent financing. Now we have even heating & cooling year round, and bills in the range of $200-$220/month. So very satisfying. He has maintained our equipment with service calls once to twice yearly at minimal cost. No problems for the past 5 years. A brief problem did develop yesterday however..... (Sunday of course) when the unit stopped putting out cold air during a 106 degree heat storm. Left a message at his office Sunday evening. Early Monday morning we were called by his staff. Two hours later Sherm was knocking at our front door. He went directly to our outside unit, listened to the sound, took off the cover, looked around inside, felt the metal tubing. In less than 20 seconds he had the right answer to our problem: a faulty capacitor. No coolant leak. He assured us we would be up & running quickly . The cold air was already flowing into the house by the time I walked back in. Within 15 minutes, his work was completed with a clearly understandable explanation. He showed us the faulty part. Then on his way to his next call. Either no cost (covered) or minimal charge. Perfect, professional service & immediate positive results. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone and everyone with a desire to install a new heating/cooling unit, needs a repair, &/or is looking for a credible and honest 1st, 2nd or 3rd opinion. Pro-Air installed new Lennox Heat Pump and new ductwork. The house is old, existing system and ductwork was old. The new system fit thanks to Pro-Air. The crew, and Sherm the boss, were a joy to work with. Wonderful job, heartily recommended Pro-Air.
