It can be difficult to find a body shop whom you can trust especially for a Tesla, and Im just very happy to have been referred to Prestige Auto Collision (no wonder it has its name Prestige). They are reliable and honest with utmost professionalism which I highly recommend.

I recently took my moms Tesla in to address a significant dent on the trunk. The reception team was welcoming, ensuring my kids were at ease and during the swift evaluation. Vince took a look at the car; his approach was thoughtful, informative, and professional. He provided a competitive quote by the end of the day—the most affordable out of the three we considered. The car was ready on schedule, with Vince keeping us well-informed at every step of the process.

Given that Prestige Auto Collision is Mercedes certified and that my car is still covered by warranty, I decided to go with them for my body repair needs. After a minor impact to the rear bumper, I left my car to them and told them about my concerns regarding the altered trunk gap . Ultimately, there were two repaints of the rear bumper, and neither time was the color matching or even the same shade, and neither time was the gap fixed. I spent a lot of time being persuaded that this is the way things should be and that there is nothing more they can do. And to top it all off. There was damage on the drivers panel when I got the car, but it wasnt there before. The following day, I wrote about the harm that I had discovered. Both a response and a reaction were lacking from me. I switched to another firm as a result, and everything was completed flawlessly—most notably, the bumper was painted the exact color I wanted. The only unfortunate thing is that every time I get in the car, the dent on the panel reminds me of my bad experience with Prestige Auto Collision.

Needed auto repair near me for two of my Teslas and chose Prestige Auto Collision Mission Viejo for its good reviews. I am glad I chose them as they provided quick, quality and friendly service which was done before the estimated date of completion. They were also upfront, fair and accurate about the price and scope of work done on my cars. I will recommend this shop to my friends and family who need body repair work done. Although the work done on the vehicle was great and you cant tell anything ever happened to it, the lack of communication and the length of time it took to complete the van was absolutely frustrating. Theres an email follow up they said wed be on but we never were called or notified about any updates on our vehicle. There was a phone call/ messaging list we were supposed to be on as well but we never received anything through that either. We had to call every week just to know what was happening or why or when. Then at the end of it all, incorrectly charged us more which we then had to take a few days to resolve via our insurance.

My Tesla was returned with drips in the clear coat and a warning on the dashboard. I was told not to worry about the warning these happen all the time with Teslas. I brought my Tesla into Tesla and they said the technicians had no idea what they were doing and didn’t reattach the pedestrian warning system (which I asked them twice to double check that they did reattach that). I’m also pretty sure they scuffed my wheels the second or third time they had to take it back. Terrible work on the car. The shuttle driver however was very nice!
