My sale person Francisco Jimenez made the process extremely easy. Everything was done via text and I felt absolutely no pressure while he worked his magic to get me into my Santa Cruz. It was late in the evening once the deal was finalized, so he personally delivered my truck to my workplace the following day. He even ran it through an additional wash since it had been bird pooped on overnight at the dealership.. then he even offered to have me stop by the dealership in the next week to have it detailed once more. Communication was excellent, service was smooth .. I’m extremely satisfied!

I got a recall letter from Hyundai telling me to take my car in to a dealership to have the defective ignition system fixed that makes the car ludicrously easy to steal. I made an appointment and dropped the car off at the appointed date and time. An hour later I got a call saying “your car is ready”; the car was “ready” but not actually fixed since the parts were not in stock. When I asked why the parts weren’t ordered four months ago when I made the appointment, they did not have an explanation. My explanation is that they suffer from Premier incompetence. What a complete waste of time.

I advise to stay away from anything named Premier. Sadly not my first time interacting with the dealership. Aside from never picking up the phone many months ago on my old car wanted to try them out one more time on purchasing a vehicle. Skipping to the part where the salesperson wasn’t interested in selling me a vehicle when they wanted 10K. I know there could be many variables but yeah never coming back. I went with a different dealer who actually tried to sell me a car.

The service department is exactly what you should expect. If it were possible to rate the service department separate from sales I would give the service department a higher score. The sales side has a hard job. San Jose dealerships eat their lunch because every car here costs less up there.

Tried to purchase a replacement vehicle. This would have been my 2nd car purchase at this dealer. I applied online for a specific vehicle but they wanted 8k down on a 2023 SUV. As I could only get approved for 32K on that vehicle. I asked if we could negotiate the price of the car and they were set on not adjusting the price. I drove down there to look at the car and see if I went in person they would work on price. I had to hunt down a salesman as no one was interested in going outside and asking if we needed help. I asked to see the car and when we went to the vehicle it was covered in dirt and the battery was dead. I told them I was approved and wanted to see if we could adjust the price of the car so I could put 3k down instead of 8k. He said he will speak to finance and he comes back 15 minutes later with the same exact deal as before. I told him this was the same deal and I wanted a lower price and he said if he works on price would I buy it? That’s what I originally came in for to work on price and you didn’t do it! Waste of time for both parties. Went to Gold star and was approved for 40K they got me in a car I love and they even lowered the sticker 1k on a vehicle that just hit the market. Safe to say I will not be going back for any future car purchases here. (also I get there’s competition but the salesman had awful things to say about goldstar and it was very off putting to me. No need to bad mouth dealers especially if you’ve never personally purchased a vehicle thru them.)

This dealership was horrible in every aspect of buying a car. The only reason why I continued to buy a car from here is because they were the only dealership who hand the color I wanted. It was a performance blue Elantra N. Bought the car from out of state, shipping was good. It arrived faster than I expected. Received the car with no temporary license plates, constantly asked them to provide temporary plates. They said they couldn’t issue me temporary licenses plates due to me living in a different state but the car is registered in California in which they mailed me the registration stating it’s registered in California.They took 28 days to send the title to my bank. By law it’s illegal to go past 30 days. Now I been waiting for my title to get transferred over to my home state. This process could’ve been much smoother. It was like they didn’t know what they were doing. If you’re buying from them know the process of buying a car unless you want to be waiting like me. Waiting for mouths because my state needs certain paperwork to get a tag for a car. Can’t even drive my car because they refuse to give me a temporary license plate.

This establishment no longer services vehicles. I was informed that they are backlogged on warranties and repairs. They have mechanics, but are not taking any new inquiries for service.I understand that these things happen, and it’s unfortunate, but it really deserves a 1 star.They have closed their books for the time being.It’s important for others to know that if you buy a car from here, they will not be able to work on it when there is a problem.

He never responded.I arrived on time for my 10:30 appointment and at 12 my car was not being worked on.Same service manger told me that he would call when my car was ready. We were looking for a used minivan with certain options installed at the factory. We found the van 125 miles away at Premier Hyundai of Seaside. I talked to Christian about the van and he sent me several photos of the vans condition. We drove the 125 miles and negotiated a fair price for it. Christian was very helpful before and after the transaction and so we are very happy with our people moving cabin run minivan!

I purchased a low mileage vehicle from here, and the service from Cynthia was great!!. I was worried that the experience would be stressful or confusing, but she made it very easy and straightforward. she didn’t try to push anything that I didn’t want which probably would have caused me to go elsewhere. The finance person (I forgot his name) was just a little bit confusing at first, but he explained things well and wasn’t too pushy when I declined some options. I think that one thing their facility can improve is providing customer parking and being aware of certain allergies that people may have such as the car odor spray, and the smoking area being close to the door. another excellent service was that they showed me the features of the car, because otherwise it would have taken me days to figure out and I was a little bit stressed how I would learn. I paid for something in March 2023, & since that time there was a recall. The dealership’s manager said they’d help me get a refund because of the recall & still haven’t received help or a refund. In October 2023 a warning light came on in my car (something to do with a flap). I brought it in & they could not find anything wrong. I was charged $225 to learn that there’s nothing wrong with my car.

3.12.24We had to take our Hyundai cars to Dublin for service. The reasons are listed below and do not cover all the issues with Premire. Premier Auto service is the reason we will never purchase Hyundai autos. Because of this, we sold both cars and purchased two cars from Lexus in Monterey.We own 2 Hyundai vehicles. Purchasing a used, or new, Hyundai where you rely on service, Id purchase a different brand car for two reasons. 1) Hyundai has transmission issues and 2) Premier has service issues: 1) service over-charging for repairs or fixing and cutting corners. I paid for rear brakes to discover they didnt replace the roters. I found this out when Premier service wouldnt answer their phone. I took the car to another shop, who told me I needed all 4 roters replaced. I spoke to the service manager, which was a waste of time. Premier charges $200 just to look at your car. If you have them perform the repair, you are not credited the $200. They seem either proud of this fee or embarrassed, not sure. 2) Hyundai automatic transmissions are a dual-clutch problem. At times, when you want to accelerate, the engine will rev but you will not move. This is really scary when merging or changing lanes. Hyundai told us this is how their transmission operates.Before you purchase any car check out the service department. Doing so can save you frustration and $$$$.I entered the above review after I listened to the service advisor and the service manager.Feb 25th 2023. My wife took her Tuscon on Feb 25th, 2023. A faulty part was found. The service manager was to call when the part came in. It is now June 23rd, 2023, and we never heard back. This part is under a warranty program purchased through Hyundai. Again, these are my experiences and opinions. Beware.

I had the worst experience of my life.I purchased a pre-owned Hyundai SantaFe and the salesman I was working with (John) promised that the car comes with 2 pairs of keys. While having the deal, he came with the excuse that the 2nd key is misplaced and will be mailed to my address within a week. I chased up multiple times and he always gave one or the other reason and finally committed to provide a new pair key within a month stating it has been ordered. But it was never ordered and later stated they cannot provide a 2nd pair of key and I should have taken it in writing while having a deal. John was polite while making the deal but later he was rude along with other staff. Talked to the dealer manager who never picks up the call and when connected once stated I have to purchase a new key without even listening to the whole matter.Please never purchase a car from this dealer and in case you purchase, never trust any salesman and make sure you have everything in writing.Moreover, they replies to our reviews to mail their manager but we cannot email to their managers as the email-id doesnt accepts any mails.

I received a flyer in the mail from Premier Hyundai of Seaside. It had a contest ticket that indicated I had won an iPad. When I showed up in person, they tried to sell me a used Audi and apologized that I had actually won headphones instead. This was my first experience at a dealership and I realize why there are so many bad stories about them. The sales guy and the dealership have lost all possible credibility in my eyes.

I was able to narrow down my decision to 2 cars online, make an appointment to test drive those cars that afternoon, and purchase and finance through Hyundai at that time. My arrival to Premier Hyundai was nice as the service drive was clearly marked. I was then greeted by the service representative Marvin and talked through the process thoroughly. I received my vehicle only 2 hours after my service appointment had been set and it looked cleaner than when I brought it in. Our new 2023 Elantra has a hole in the exhaust pipe. The hole was caused by a jack, and we believed it was when we had a tire rotation at the Seaside location.We were told that they would look into it on Wednesday. However, they didnt look into until Thursday. They also lost the car and the keys. My husband had to send them a picture of our car to find it in the lot. Also, the last person to have our keys did not come in so they have to wait for them to come in.In the end, they denied it was their fault (the hole). This vehicle is parked in front of my garage with camera. I have family up at night. This car is parked during the day at the CHOMP supervised parking lot.EDIT: we came to pick up and still they denied it. I had way better customer service with my Subaru. They wanted to charge us over $900 to replace the whole center muffler. We went to get it fixed in Salinas at All American Muffler where he didnt have to do that and he did it for $60.

Beware!!! There are some fraud people working here. DO NOT WORK with Sales person Christian. He fraudulently sold me the Car without a second key fob and promised to send a recall to get a second key fob and did not write it anywhere so there is no record of him saying that. After my repeated calls, I opened the consumer affair ticket and now in front of his managers, he just denies everything he said. Funny that he remembers everything about selling the Car to me except his lie that day. Writing this down here so people know who theyll be dealing with.

I recently bought a new care at Premier Hyundai. The purchase process was overall good, they were helpful and communicative so no complaints there.However, the first time I needed to speak with a service advisor I wasnt able to speak to one on the phone (was told they were all busy) and I never got a call back. It turned out not to be a huge issue, a tire weight apparently fell off and I was able to get it fixed at a tire shop nearby. That said, I was very disappointed not to get any help from Premier on the issue, it probably would have been a quick phone call and would have been hugely helpful to me at that time.Edited to 3 stars as my recent service experience was very good and want to reflect that

We got a advertisement talking about the price is right scratch off game match 3 and you are a winner to that prize that appears on the advertisement it says take ID and claim your prize if you are awinner..so I scratched off the 3 it matched to 5,000 dollars lol it has a phone number to call too & did confirm it was a winner to the prize . As I got there two older ladies went there as well with probably thought of a winner number as well . The gentleman asked if I had over heard the rules ..had some bulletin up w some awkward different numbers he looked at my playing board I think matched one number to his board and said only 20,000 people will win the 25,k or 5 k not to mention these little other cheap prizes .. and he confirmed yes you are a winner (my board said 5k ) lol you won some i12 Amazon 8.99 AIR PODS 🤦🏻‍♀️ as the little old ladies walked off with some of there own too disappointed (false advertisement) geez not even my gas cost that cheap to get to this spot . Reason for game is to let people know they exist there (been there for 3 years) and to send people there way (ya ok just to let people know how crooked salesman are ) I even thought hmm how do I now if this man took the board and not cashed it in himself lol moral of the story is this a good way to tell your Comm Unity to stay away major red flags to have major problems with this dealership in the future . Only thing good about this place is the nice printed out report and explanation of services they want to perform. Bring Vaseline with you so it wont hurt so bad. I only went for recall items, making my appointment a month in advance, taking time off early for work, and of course they were out of stock on the part I needed! I literally cant register my car because it has to do with smog. They recommended $2500 in repairs to fix. I didnt do it of course because I could do it myself for about 200!

I called to make appointment for my first free scheduled maintenance.They scheduled me for Labor Day. I asked three times if they were sure they would be open and was told yes. They called Friday before my Monday appointment to reschedule because they would not be open on Labor Day. When I dropped off the car for the newly scheduled appointment, I was told it would be two hours and was given the business card of the person in charge of my service. After not hearing from them after 3 hours we called and had to leave a message as no one answered and no one returned the voice mail. I called again later and no one answered again. I later called a third time and spoke with a woman in another department. She took our two numbers and said someone would call us back. When that didnt happen, my husband called and got the service managers voicemail again so he called back and asked to speak to a live human. When he asked to talk to the manager they put him through to voice mail again. Between us it took 6 calls before someone finally called five hours after we had dropped the car off for our two hour appointment to say the car was ready to be picked up.I love my car and have recommended it to so many people who are looking to buy a new car. I will absolutely recommend that they avoid the Seaside dealership and consider using another one such as the Gilroy store. Its an extra hour for me but probably worth the drive to avoid what we went through today.The biggest frustration was that all it took was a phone call to say they were too busy today or too backed up. I understand those things. Instead they just left me hanging all day and unable to take care of other business. When we inquired about the delay and lack of contact we were given various excuses for the lack of decent customer service. Bottom line: Im convinced we bought a good car but I have no confidence that Ill receive the same level of service--at least not in Seaside.

This has been the most awesome buying experience ever purchasing a new vehicle. After looking at Captiol Hyundai and no vehicles being available, we decided to call Seaside for inventory. We immediately got connected with Dari. Dari really went above and beyond to find our IONIQ 5. Not only did he respond to calls on his days off but he also took the time to work with his manager to make sure we were getting what we wanted. After putting our reservation in for our vehicle, we were notified only 5 days later that our vehicle was ready! We simply gave Dari all our info and he made everything possible in one day (over the phone). Later that day, our car was delivered with zero issues. We signed our documents, and sent them back with the driver. If this isn’t 5 star service, I don’t know what is. Let’s just say we didn’t even step into the dealership. Again, Dari is the man! If you call in, ask for Dari. We will be recommending him to all our friends and family. He’s got the best attitude, no beating around the bush with him. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

SHOULD BE NO STARS. DO NOT GO TO PREMIER HYUNDAI. Took a vehicle to have a rat chewed wire inspected and repaired. Premier “suggested” that the car’s entire wire harness be replaced, $3000.00 for the harness and nearly $8000 in labor. The service representative was near giggling when he informed me of their diagnosis, question my knowledge about cars and repairs, then gave me advice to call my auto or home policy insurers to see if their $11k bill can be covered.An electrical mechanic fixed the wires and checked that all OBD codes cleared for under $300.I can go on with how morally or ethically wrong Premier’s auto service is regardless of whether or not their diagnosis is a Hyundai recommended repair, but what I’ve written above will say it all. Not only will I not go to this dealer, I will inform anyone I know with a Hyundai to stay clear from this dealer.

Absolutely terrible experience from beginning to end.Had to call 5+ times at various days and times to FINALLY get someone to give me an appointment. I asked for an estimate on the work and Im told Ill get a call back by the end of day. Absolutely nothing. Never got a call. I called back again two weeks later asking for a service manager, the operator directs my call to them and goes straight to voicemail. As a dealership a good portion of your work relies on phone calls yet I can never get ahold of anyone except the operator.Checking my car in at service was probably the only acceptable part of my experience. However after I went home, once again it took 3 calls just to have my questions answered.The car was barely washed and parked somewhat far away from the service center. After a few miles I hear a scraping plastic noise coming from my car. Turns out they didnt properly tighten down the skid plate and a huge chunk of it was dragging. At this point I didnt want anything to do with this dealership and I fixed the problem myself.If you value your time or car at all do not come here. Between clearly incompetent technicians, lackluster customer service, and the inability to do something as simple as picking up the phone, youre better off going somewhere else.

A Truly Amazon Prime like car buying experience. I saw the car I wanted available in their inventory and talked with Eric ( sales person) who was awesome and he made sure that I got a car buying experience like nowhere. Very smooth negotiations and transactions. Contracts were executed online and they even managed to deliver the car to my home ( 140 miles away) and picked my trade in car.Highly recommend this dealership and Eric if you are looking for a great and hassle free car buying experience.The reason for my 4* instead of 5* was for some last minute hiccups that came out just prior to car delivery.

I recently changed dealership to Seaside Hyundai as I was not satisfied with dealer where I purchased my vehicle. I went to have my first 5,000 mile check up. Process was smooth and efficient and wait time was shorter than expected. Amanda Mar took care of me in the most professional and welcoming way. At my request she spent some time answering my questions and instructing me on many features of the car which were either a problem or unknown to me, including how to work with ApplePlay, how to customize my dashboard display and what the different icons on my steering wheel meant. The sales people were great (5/5), but the Service department was absolutely terrible.Getting ahold of anyone to make an appointment took about a week of back and forth calls. Once I arrive to my initial appointment the manager is confused about why I am even there and I wait 2 hours before someone tells me that my parts are not in their warehouse. So I was there for nothing and I had to come back in another time. Confirming the next appointment took just as much effort as the first. Thankfully, at that appt the rims were installed, on my car. However, the next day the tire pressure system light goes on, which it never had before, indicating that they screwed up. Getting an appointment for that to be fixed was (surprise) just as difficult.Overall, I am looking forward to never having to come back here for service ever again.

I want to give more stars because the service reps are very courteous and respectful. But, I did not have a good experience overall. I sold a vehicle to this Hyundai on October 28th of this year. After several issues with the comptroller office, including 2 in person visits, 2 checks fed-exed, and multiple phone calls, I have finally received the money for the sale, on 22Dec.Some of this is simply due to the fact that I was selling my car for cash rather than trade in. Some of it was because I moved at the end of November. But the majority of the problems came from poor communication within Hyundai. Im sure the office does well with sales and local people just fine. But, be warned if youre planning to sell a vehicle prior to a move- I recommend wire transfering the funds instead of mailing.

Avoid this dealership. In order to get my credit pulled I had to unfreeze 2 accounts. I hadnt done this before so I wasnt sure how to do it. The sales manager gave me 2 numbers to call. However neither worked as I spent almost an hour and a half on hold or trying to navigate confusing menu choices. The sales manager informed me that many other customers were able to do this quickly with no issues. Of course this was very unhelpful. Finally I figured out how to do it online which took almost another hour because the verification process for each credit reporting bureau. During negotiations I requested that they provide the roller rear compartment cover that was mysteriously missing. They agreed to have one shipped to me but 3 weeks later I am still waiting with no follow-up from the dealership.

Check, double check & triple check your estimate. First pass they charged me for warranty work & for items from the last service they did not check & instead assumed had not been replaced (they had been). Had to reiterate 2x to check my warranties. They did not automatically do that even though asked at drop off. After clearly saying do nothing but warranty work & new tires, they still aligned my vehicle against my wishes. They said they did not trst drive it but charged for it then said they dud test drive it. Seeing as how the problem is now worse with the turbo my guess is their first answer that they just adjusted it without test driving is accurate.They did waive the charges for the testing & alignment but only because it was their mistake. 3x my estimate was incorrect. Triple check! Make sure they check your warranty if you must go there although I would not recommend it.I will be having the work & brakes theyvsaid need to be fully replaced checked elsewhere. Car has few miles on it. Not likely it needs brakes. If I can update this after I get a second opinion I will.They use Deceitful business practices and their mechanics do not truly check items. Buyer beware.

I was getting ready to leave the parking lot and somebody pulled into the parking lot beside me and told me that fluid was leaking underneath my car. I didn’t know what it was so I immediately took my car to the dealership. I didn’t have an appointment and told Marvin, the service advisor my situation. When it turned out I needed a new transmission and there were issues regarding whether or not it was under warranty, he argued on my behalf! I did not have a good experience with premier Hyundai. I was driving to carmel from Sacramento on May 12, 2022. I had a blowout on my new genesis gv80. I called the dealership 3 times that evening between 3-5pm. Never connecting with anyone only getting voice mail.The parts or service manager never returned my calls. I wanted to check and see if they had a replacement tire since it was under warranty. Amanda and Alma were extremely professional, helpful, and attentive. I was so pleasantly surprised. They are the kind of people that keep customers coming back. If you take your car here to get service just know it is about double what Hyundai of Gilroy charges for oil change. In addition with the change in ownership the records did not transfer over. My example was spark plug that I had changed less than one year ago (9k miles) they recommended replacing based on millage. They did not have the records until I pressed when I told them what I had in my file. Then acknowledged and found the records of the maitenice. Just saying look out for yourself here.

Scheduled an appointment for Aug 11, 2022, at 8 am on August 4, 2022.Door locks and power windows were not working.Turned the car over to Marvin for service at 8:30 am.I received a text notification at 4:13 PM stating that they wanted to replace the main driver’s door master switch and the total including diagnostic was $702.I called and discuss the issue with Marvin ... stated it would take 3 days for the part to arrive and the part would be ordered on Friday since they had missed today’s cutoff (3 pm) for ordering parts. He said should be able to complete the repair and recheck on Tuesday, Aug 16.Nothing further from Hyundai so I texted and called on Wednesday, Aug 17. After repeated calls and messages, Marvin called at 3 pm. Marvin stated that he had just received the ordered part and he was giving it the mechanic for installation. At 5:49 pm I received a call from Marvin stating that the problem was not fixed and they would contact Hyundai the next day.On Aug. 19, I texted at 8:45 am asking for any updates. At 11:56 am, Marvin called and said that Hyundai had said that they needed to replace a smart junction box, the cost would be $1300, I would not be responsible for the previous master switch, the new part would take 4+ days. Marvin asked if I had known that my headlights were out…I stated that I was not aware of that issue. (What kind of diagnostic did they do last Thursday if they are just now figuring out that my headlights were also affected 8 days later?) Marvin said he would order the part and let me know if there were any updates.Aug 25th – Marvin called at 3 pm and said they have the part for my car and will be installing. He will call back after it is installed and checked. At 4:36 pm, Marvin called and said the vehicle checks out and everything is fixed. I told him that I would pick up tomorrow, Friday.Aug 27 – I picked up the car at 8:30 am, the lady at the service desk said she knew nothing about the car but would read the paperwork to me if I wanted. I stated that I could read. I paid, got a copy of the paperwork and left.The paperwork included an Automobile Status Report for a 2014 Hyundai Elantra owned by Nxxxx Rxxx and did not include a report for my 2012 Hyundai Tucson.I called and emailed the service manager, he said he would respond the next day...it has been 8+ days.

I bought a used car from this place about a month ago, within the first week the car broke down (only 5 years old) I took it to the shop 5 times in 3 weeks and poured thousands of dollars into it. I called this dealership to explain all the issues and they said they couldnt do anything for me. It was a complete and total lemon. Needless to say Amber who sold me the car told me it had run flat tires, when it fact it did not and when I asked for a spare tire kit that she promised me she said I didnt know they werent run flat. Isnt it your job to know about the car you are selling and not claim false information? The whole experience was slimy and creepy, I definitely learned my lesson not to buy a warranty, complete and total waste of money and time and they werent in the slightest willing to work with me.

The Hyundai Sales Manager Raul, needs to learn better costumer service. I tried to buy a used 2019 White Elantra 28,000 miles, that my granddaughter took a liking to after test driving it. I asked him to give me a break on the price $14,900. A very good price under Blue Book for this particular vehicle already. He told me that is the best price within 200 miles, and he couldn’t. I asked for any discount, anything, and he said no. The next morning I noticed he dropped the price $200 on line $14,700, but no one called.Feeling Kinda miffed I decided to see what used cars BMW had, lo and behold, a 2019 Sonata SE 18,600 miles, priced at $15,800, also Avery good price under Blue Book. After I asked for an anything off I bought it for $15,500. + tax and license, $800 more than$14,700., but almost $3,000 more luxury and car, than the Elantra........Thanx Raul, I’m very pleased that you led meet to this purchase! I will never attempt to purchase a vehicle Premier again, nor will I allow any of my family or friends either!

I needed a new coil for my engine, the piece costs 90 dollars at the autostore but for their whole service was going to be over 400 dollars, and when i said that Id rather fix it myself they had already fixed my car without my consent and they had to essentially rebreak my car to let me take it home. I felt that because I am a woman they assumed they could financially take advantage of me. Im heavily skeptical that they messed with my car more. Go to a mechanic DO NOT let this hyundai location service your vehicle. They couldnt even look me in the eyes when I picked up because you could tell they were trying to scam me. Just awful

The customer service from the finance department was horrible. You should not have to feel discrimination when you’re the customer. The finance manager located in the Chevrolet side was rude and discriminatory. I left feeling very upset. They don’t get that they need the customer to sell cars, don’t drive the customer away. Drove down from Santa Cruz late morning on the day after the 4th of July (a Friday) wanting to take a test drive. The driveways were blocked by cars so there was no way in. Explored on foot to find both the partner dealership (Chevy) and Peninsula Hyundai abandoned. No signs on the doors indicated that they would be closed that day, but many cars didnt look washed and I couldnt find any of the 3 cars of the model I wanted to test on the lot, even though they showed up in their online inventory. That evening I called to see if there was any special message on their phone line. The main message box was full and another message indicated some sort of error state. Did they go out of business? Who knows? Ill be heading over to one of the San Jose Hyundai dealers on Monday . . . after calling ahead.Update: Found a news article confirming that three dealers in Seaside (Hyundai, Chevy, and Cadillac) went out of business on June 20, 2019.
