Jonathan communicated his arrival time and listened to my concerns. He performed a full safety check on our system. He found some cracks in our brackets that we had not noticed. We were glad to get them replaced before we had a bigger problem. We also needed to replace our wall button. He made sure to explain everything and confirmed our door opener was working properly. We are very happy with our service from Precision!

Our estimator, Jonathan, was on time for our appointment and patiently answered all of our questions. The company agreed to reschedule our installation 24 hours before the scheduled installation time when a scheduling conflict came up on our side. On the rescheduled installation date two installers arrived on time, finished the installation, and cleaned up the work area well within the estimated time they provided. There are many single person garage guys out there, but for peace of mind go with an established company. They earned and deserved the 5 🌟 rating we have given them.

Our garage door would not open so we contacted Precision to see if it was possible to assist. The rep was able to get someone out same day! Anthony Carrillo arrived in less than 2 hours. He diagnosed the issue and was able to provide a quote to repair. I assumed parts would need to. Be ordered and a subsequent return trip to schedule. Anthony had everything on his truck and within 2 hours replaced our door opener, springs, serviced and had us back up and running. Anthony was professional and walked me through the new opener. I highly recommend Precision and Anthony!

Our garage door responded the remote sluggishly and only opened at a few steps away. We changed battery for both remotes and installed a new antenna. Then door got worse and wouldnt close. We called Precision and Armando came 5h later on the same day. He gave us estimated cost for several options. Since our old motor was 16-year-old, we changed new motor, 10 rollers, 4 hinges, etc. whatever were recommended. It was all done in 2 hours. We are amazed that the garage door does not make grinding sound anymore. It is so quite that I wont hear it when inside the car. Very happy to have the Precision motor.

CALL PRECISION DOOR!!!! Five stars for Precision Door and technician Alan Hy! Long story, but in short, some roofers tweaked my garage door. It was jammed and one of the lift cables had unspooled.I called a garage door company that indicated they were in my city, but it turned out It was just a dispatch center. The fly-by-night “technician” & apprentice (who are at best are just bad handyman) showed up and quoted an outrageous price which we negotiated down. They commenced work, but the door still would not operate correctly.. They said they needed more money and more parts. After they were gone for 4 hrs, I had to cut them loose after giving them go away money for their parts, and one hour of labor.The following day I contacted Precision and was treated professionally throughout the process and advised of the service call fees and hourly labor rate. Alan advised me of his arrival window and showed up 30 minutes early. Within 40 minutes he had diagnosed and fixed the door. Specifically, he found that the door did not roll down because The shoddy handyman had overtightened the torsion spring. Maybe that was part of their scam. Alan is great and it would’ve cost me a whole lot less to call Precision the first time.. In general, you get what you pay for, and Precision was worth every penny. THANK YOU ALAN!

Could not speak highly enough about Precision. My son made an error, and destroyed our garage door closing it on a steel workout bar. I called them, and Jason was in touch with me within an hour. He was early in coming by, and gave me helpful and honest feedback on my situation. When it was clear that the best solution would be to replace the door and the frame (and the motor) Jason helped me through the pricing, and offered to help me close it until it could be replaced.He told me it could take nearly two weeks to get taken care of - but because we are trying to move, he mentioned in the notes that sooner was better. We got a call the same day with a time for the replacement to happen the next afternoon. Seriously - within 24 hours we had a brand new door, everything works perfectly and quiet and looks awesome.Truly a fantastic company, and if you have any needs for your garage doors, you should 100% call them and get their help. The job will be done right, and they will do their best to give you the results you need.

Today was my second time using Precision doors. 2 years ago they changed out my garage door motor which is working great! Today the door springs broke so the garage door wouldn’t open. After calling them they had a tech name Jesse out at my house within an hour of my call. He did a really great and fast job of replacing the broken parts and installing new once. Great experience! Called for service in the morning, and they came out the same day. Technician (Anthony) was courteous and professional. Anthony identified multiple problems, but he did not try to upsell us -- for example, he said our motorized door opener was fine and did not need replacing. He gave us an itemized quote, explaining the charges for each item to be fixed, and gave us the option to do everything or just certain items. Work was completed quickly (less than 2 hours) and we were shown the results before paying.Very happy with Anthonys work, and we will definitely use this company again!

No way to open our garage door. Technician came and had no way to check the unit without being able to open the door. Suggested an “emergency” access procedure including drilling a hole in our door. Drilling the hole and inserting a piece of hardware would have cost $500!! Too bad. Technician was polite, kind and professional. The idea was good but way too expensive. Precision was kind enough to waive the service charge as they really did nothing except recommending a $500 technique that didn’t even include the cost of repair.

I decided to proactively replace my 15-year-old garage door opener before it died. I selected Precision Door Service for a service call based on their service coverage area and great reviews for customer service and products. I called yesterday and was able to get an appointment today from 8am to 12pm. Anthony called at 7:45am this morning to confirm the appointment and let me know he would arrive in 30 minutes or less. After his initial inspection, he explained the available options. I decided to replace the unit as one of the options was within the budget and specifications that I had researched. Anthony had all the equipment and supplies in his truck and installed a new, very quiet, garage door opener and outside keypad in 2 hours despite the horrible wind and blowing rain. He cleaned the work area and showed me how everything worked. As an older woman, I frequently encounter service technicians that mansplain and more (and who I send packing) but that was NOT the case with Anthony. He was professional and didnt treat me any differently. I highly recommend Precision Door Services.

Out of nowhere, our electric garage door broke one evening. The rail on one side was bent and door was stuck at 3/4 of the way down and lopsided.We were certain that we were going to have to replace everything and the timing could not have been worse as we already have multiple and back 2 back home improvement projects happening.As a homeowner, we have had our share of disappointing contractors and service representatives so when we found Precision, we were so relieved because not only were they able to come out the very next day, they were on time and the service representative called to let us know when he was 30 minutes away. I mention this because it shows professionalism and courtesy.Jonathan arrived and he was very nice, very knowledgeable and because the garage door was still in tact, he was able to repair our equipment instead of having to replace it which was awesome! He also made some minor adjustments that might have or may potentially instigate an issue.The price was surprisingly affordable and he was refreshingly honest. He didnt try to upsell us or take advantage of us given our predicament and he did the work efficiently and in a timely manner.Alot of times with companies that run commercials they tend to be more expensive than the smaller businesses or handyman type services but Precision was extremely competitive with their pricing and the quality of work is 5 STARS and A+Its a relief knowing that we have an honest and reliable service provider should another issue arise with our door.... BUT....... I dont think there will be another issue! :-)

Have used Precision over last 20 years. seems every ten years I need them to come out and replace a spring or more. This year again, a spring failed and Precision was there quickly to help gain access to the garage again. Armando Bacca was the technician who performed our garage door repair/rebuild. He was very informative and provided the several options to work with. As I dont plan to be moving anytime soon I decided to have the door rebuilt. Basically all the moving parts (springs, rollers, bearings, and so on) replaced and go with the limited lifetime warranty. Spent the extra money, but felt it was worth the investment. Armando was very professional. Could see he could do this stuff in his sleep. Completed task in about an hour and insured that the whole system was functioning properly and made several adjustments to make sure the door opened and closed completely. Very happy with their service. Would have been happier if it wasnt an unplanned expensive. But when is it ever?

Highly Recommended. Our garage door did not work. Eric arrived the same day I called, assessed that cobwebs were covering the sensor, and fixed the problem in a matter of moments, no charge. If it were just about the work, I would give them 5 stars. The work, product and the repair man were all good. When I made the appointment, they told me it would be 125.00 per spring replaced with a 29.99 service charge which would be waved if they replace the springs. I was charged 299.00 per spring. Dont mind if I was slightly misquoted. But, I dont feel that was the case. The final bill was just under 700.00. All in all a good experience. Just dont plan on the quoted cost being what actually gets charged.

I just purchased a new house in Santa Barbara and the garage door opener looked like the original opener from when the house was built (over 50 years old). Jim Bauer, one of their employees, met me on a Saturday afternoon. He did a complete assessment and we ended up replacing the opener, springs and cables. The beauty of it was that he was able to do the entire repair on the spot. During the installation process, he kept me informed as to what he was doing and educated me on garage door mechanics. He was courteous, personable, professional and competent. Jim is an incredible employee, and a great guy. I was 100% satisfied with the entire experience. Russ, my tech, was excellent. From appointment making to the actual service, Russ T. was great in how he explained to me the issues in our current garage door before explaining in detail what my options were to fix them. He and his teammate were courteous, fast, and gave me full confidence in their ability to replace our doors. Our door cables had gone astray, and after providing me estimates, they fixed the cables so that the door would remain shut until further service could be scheduled. No decisions to purchase anything were made, yet I paid nothing for them to come out. I will definitely be scheduling the big repair with these guys.
