Powers Roof Service fixed our roof leak in the dead of the rainy season and did a fabulous job. Their quote was reasonable and in line with other companies, but I found their customer service to be heads and shoulders above the competition. From the first call to the estimate to the work being done, they always communicated and honored their word. I cant say enough wonderful things about Powers Roof Service. They were wonderful from the start to finish. Very thorough and honest. The ladies (Ali and Della) in the office are quick to get back to calls /texts. Ryan was great when he came out and did an inspection and review of my roof and thankfully did a temporary patch job till full repair could be done. And Brandon and his crew were great wonderful--kept me informed and showed me pictures of all the repairs done. I would not hesitate to use this company for any roof inspections or repairs. I bought this home in south Auburn, about seven years ago; I honestly didn’t know much about having roof problems until two years later when I noticed the wall paint where hot water heater stood was peeling off and the drywall did not seem to be dry at all … LOL! There was a leak coming from one of the back-roof valleys between the garage and the guest room; this leak has been going on for years!Anyway, my neighbor across the street recommended Powers Roof Service; so, I called on them and the owner Galen came over and inspected the roof; he explained what the issue was and how much it would cost to repair. The crew came over and did an excellent job at repairing the leak.Recently, as I was getting ready to install Solar panels, I called on Power Roof Service again to inspect the rest of the house roof. They come over, inspected the roof, and found a lot of needed repairs like dry-rots, replacing old valleys, broken tiles, …. etc. Because the rainy season was upon us, they were pretty much booked up all the way through New Year’s; however, Galen the owner said he would fit me in, as they possible could; amazingly, they did fit me in and did repair everything before year’s end. They showed me photos before and after, which really helped me understand what a batten or a roof valley was!In my opinion, among the best qualities of Power Roof are their excellent knowledge in tile roof repairs and their attention to detail. I tell you, It is hard these days to find honest contractors that do an A++ job.08/01/2022Last week, Galen’s crew worked on my house skylight and they did a wonderful job cleaning up and repairing a 30 year-old installation. Powers roof Service is amazing.For some background: Our roof has been leaking into the house at various points over the last five years. We’ve had a few companies out to fix the issue, including straight line roofing, which supposedly has amazing reviews, and none of them were ever able to fix the problem or come back to reassess. Straight line even came out to assess the work that they had done and said that it was a terrible job and then never came back to fix it. We had another company tell us we needed a whole new roof. And another company tell us the tiles were set the wrong way (They aren’t).We had powers roof out after a particularly bad storm to assess the issue. They were very quick and Clearly communicated what to expect, the cost, and then provide all the details of the issue. Put in a temporary fix that day that lasted through multiple severe storms with no issues. I cannot say how impressed I was with just that. When they came back to do the real fix, They were professional, timely, and once again communicated clearly. Our roof has continued to hold up through additional storms with no issues. So happy this issue is finally done. Thank you, Powers roof.

As a property owner of a 27 year old tile roof in disrepair I reached out to Powers Roof Service for help. From the first call to the final completion they were excellent in communicating all repairs step by step. They went above and beyond to make sure all my issues were addressed. I just had some roof repairs done and gutter guards installed by Powers Roof Service. I am very satisfied with everyone I interacted with, starting with my first contact to the roof inspection and throughout the repairs/installation. Everyone with Powers Roofing was courteous, knowledgable and responsive. The work was done efficiently in a timely manner and at the end of the day, every bit of debris was cleaned up. After the work was completed, Galen Powers spent a good amount of time going over all the before and after photos taken of my roof and answering all of my questions. House was built in 2007. Never noticed a problem, but considering some other issues I had, thought time to get roof inspected. Very glad I did. In addition to several broken tiles, the flashing was clogged with debris the builder left. This caused water to get under the tiles and onto the plywood which rotted out. Powers Roofing was very reasonable, fast and did a great job repairing my roof.I would recommend them to everyone.

We had a great experience with everyone at Powers. They explained everything with plenty of images, and scheduled us quickly. Then when our scheduled date was forecasted for rain, they were able to come out before the storm. They also did additional minor repairs they saw when up on the roof, that weren’t part of the original scope but didn’t charge extra. We had a lot of issues with our tile roof that we had been putting off dealing with including major leaks, old valley flashings in need of replacement, broken/cracked/slipped tiles, and dry rot. Since all the houses in our development have tile roofs I checked with neighbors and received several recommendations for Powers Roof Service.Starting with the initial estimate and temporary valley repair, Justen arrived on-time and was very courteous and professional. Our roof is over 25 years old and needed significant repairs so he took photos to document the issues and structured the work estimate in phases so we could prioritize the critical repairs first and manage our budget.The owner Galen went above and beyond to fit our job in before the rainy season, which was very much appreciated. Since Powers Roof Service only works on tile roofs he was very knowledgeable about the issues our roof had and the best approach to resolve them. The biggest upgrade was to replace the old valley flashing with new high-flow valley flashing, which will fix the constant problems we have had with leaks due to backed up water in the valleys. The project ended up taking approx. 2 1/2 days, split across two weeks, and Galen stopped by several times to check-in with his team and to answer any questions we had.After the job was completed the admin in the office emailed us a file with comprehensive photos of the original issues, in process repairs, and final result so we could retain for future reference. The crew from Powers Roof Service did a great job from start to finish and I highly recommend them.

I had a bad leaks on my roof. I had repair scheduled and Powers came out and patched up the leaks until it was dry enough to repair. Later in the year I was selling my house and the inspector cracked a bunch of roof tiles. Powers came back out and replaced the cracked tiles for me for the sale to go through. They explained the repair to me and even let me watch some of the process. Any company that will take the time to teach the customer what they are doing is a great company. They are highly recommended.

Look no further - this is exactly the type of company everyone is hoping to find when in need of any service!!This was our second time using Powers Roof Service. After being so impressed the first time with their work, we didnt hesitate to call them back when another issue presented itself a few months ago and have also gladly referred them to neighbors.Due to all the rain and their workload (the word gets out when youre this good:=) they had to schedule the repair about a month out. In the meantime though they fashioned a temporary fix for us which was much appreciated with the crazy-heavy rain this season. Youll find the way they provide before, during, and after photos of the repair very helpful - a picture certainly IS worth a thousand words.We were out of the country for an extended period when the repair was done, however each step of the way, Galen Powers, Brandon Beggerly, and their administrative assistant Hayley Kingaby, kept us updated via email. Powers Roofing did a fantastic job on my recently purchased home. They conducted a full inspection prior to my purchase and provided pictures and a full description of all the problem areas. They sorted it into high priority and potential issue items, which greatly helped in working with the Seller. I ended up having them do all of the items discovered, and they came out with a full team and completed everything in one day. They provided us with updates of items they found after the tiles were off, and described any issues. They even pointed out some non-roof issues (chimney and stucco problems) that helped prevent other water issues. Overall they were very professional and do a great job.

In 2021 we decided we should have our almost 20 year old roof checked for any maintenance which might be required. Had multiple repairs done to our roof. First in the spring, when the storms blew off a couple of tiles. Galen’s crew was the quickest to come out, and did a fantastic job replacing the tiles. Second in the summer had a number of larger/critical repairs done to the roof, including repairing dry rot and valley replacements. Both times the work started on time, and the crews were great to work with, very professional and respectful of the property. The quality of the work was outstanding, including a number of additional work performed free of charge. And really appreciated how details were shared with photos, since I couldn’t climb on the roof to check it out myself. Our roof started leaking during the atmospheric rivers we had in early 2023. As new home owners it’s hard to decide who you’re going to trust with one of the major parts of your home. After calling around to several companies I finally arrived at Powers and knew instantly from talking with Ashley on the phone this company knew what they were talking about, cared about their customers, and had a working system in place to service their customers.They were able to come out early, the owner himself came to assess the damage, patched the repair, did extra work on my skylight just to be sure we would make it through the winter without further damage.During the initial patch repair and full service repair which took place after the rains they took pictures before and after and explained how your roof is supposed to operate and what is needed to get you there. Galen, with powers roof service, provided us with a detailed quote, got us on the schedule and kept us informed every step of the way during our roof repair process. We had several areas on our roof that were leaking because of old flashing. Galen was able to identify the problems and replace it with new redesigned flashing that works. Gaylan and his crew took pictures during the whole process and identified areas of concern that we ended up approving to fix while he was here. We couldn’t be happier with the service that his entire team provided. The crew paid attention to detail and left everything better than they found it. This company is very knowledgeable about tile roof repair and very professional in the way they conduct themselves with clients. They provide a detailed roof inspection with pictures in report so you know exactly where the damage is and what repair is needed. For our repair, the workers came out twice: once to repair leakage in garage and another time to repair the damaged tiles that were spread throughout. He also provided a detailed estimate with several options. In 2018, we started a home repair on our roof; however, the job became too big for us to handle. After reading many reviews, we called Powers Roof Service for them to complete our project. STOP! Read this. Three years ago Powers came out to complete some storm damage that had occurred. They were on time, super professional and very detailed with the associated roof inspection. It’s time to sell so we called Powers to inspect our roof so we can put it on the market. The inspection showed repairs were needed. They worked with us to prioritize repairs to keep our roof from leaking and tiles from falling off the roof. After completion of repairs and resetting the tiles, they cleaned all of the roof debris and pieces of wood from the job site. They used a magnet to insure staples were not left behind. We were lucky to find this company because they are hard working, detailed, on time and honest. They are coming back to complete the rest of the repairs in April. I can’t say enough good things about this company and its people. I can easily recommend this company to anyone with a tile roof who needs an inspection or repairs. They are very busy because it’s difficult to find a company today with the high standards and commitment to their customers from days past. I had them do a roof inspection and replace three broken tiles. My roof is over 20 years old so they did their roof leak detection inspection and I received a professional low cost quote with everything broken out by line items with a cost for each improvement. This will give me at least another 20 to 30 years of life out of my current tile roof. I was very impressed with how professionally they explained the work improvement process. I could easily understand what needed to be done. It was very important to them that I really truly understood what needed to be done. They took lots of before, during and after pictures to show me the work improvement process. Im very excided how little I had to spend to extend the longevity my roof. Because I plan on staying in my current home for a long time. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. If you are planning on purchasing a new or used home, I would have them to do a roof inspection for a piece of mind and so theyre no problems down the road. I will definitely use them again for another roof inspection in about four to five years.

Galen, the owner of Powers Roof Service, came out and did the initial estimate. He was very thorough and detailed in his estimate, provided plenty of pictures of the condition of the roof, and explained what work needed to be performed and what didn’t. Galen is also a super nice guy and very knowledgeable of tile roof repair.Apparently, Powers Roof Service is so much in demand and provides such quality service that they are often booked months in advance. Fortunately, we were able to book them only a few weeks out for repairs to our flashing and some minor dry rot near our chimney.On the day of the repair, the crew arrived promptly, and they were very friendly and professional, showed us pictures of the repair progression afterwards, and performed an excellent job making the repairs. Upon completion of the repairs, they cleaned up after themselves and everything was left neat and tidy.Galen of Powers Roof Service even provided us with a small refund as the cost of the repair work was a bit less than estimated. I highly recommend Powers Roof Service for their professional and honest service.Having bought my home only a few years now, I thought it may be a good idea to have my roof inspected. Brandon at Powers gave me a very professional estimate. He broke down repairs which he believed were necessary and those which could wait, providing me with photos and a clear explanation. Sadly, a good home inspection when I bought the house may have discovered these.When the crew began the work this past December, they discovered other necessary repairs due to wood rot. The owner Galen came to my home and took a personal interest in supervising all the work that was performed. Galen also recommended a great general construction company that I hired to repair some rotted flashing and necessary stucco repair work. Galen and his employees are extremely hard working and definitely went above and beyond all our expectations. They are on time, inspect your roof and are detail oriented. Galen will go up on your roof and inspect it, takes a lot of pictures so he can not only tell you whats wrong and what needs done but also show you so you understand the whole process. He explained my situation very well and made recommendations. His team is very knowledgeable and skilled in tile roof repair. During the middle of December, we heard what sounded like a waterfall within the walls of our family room and saw water on the ceiling in the master bedroom closet which is adjacent to the family room. We researched roofers and found Powers. After talking with Michelle (who is an absolute delight and so very helpful), Brandon came out within just a couple of days. He evaluated the entire roof, patched the problem area (taking care of the immediacy) and made an appointment for a permanent fix within the next 10 days. He provided us with a (very reasonable) estimate for each fix and even told us what could wait until later. When the crew came, they were amazing. They always photograph to show exactly what the condition is and, then afterwards, what they did. They were here for hours and found that among our problems was a large hole under the tiles that was likely compliments of a squirrel. Gallen was awesome!!! You get detailed quality work and their communication is unmatched. They did somewhat extensive repairs on our 30yr old roof. They removed tiles from valley, and replaced rotted boards. Installed new moisture barriers, and reinstalled valley flashings. They also installed new redwood battens where needed. I called several roofing companies in the area to perform some roofing maintenance estimates. Powers Roofing was midline in price, but the most responsive and most professional of the service companies we recieved quotes from.Prior to being ready to start our home was ravaged by a record breaking rainstorm, with an unexpected roof leak from our pool solar heating system. I called them and they came out the next day to put a temorary repair in place and evaluate the damage. While the temporary repair was being put in, additional needs were identified and the roofer attended to them to prevent any additional water damage while awaiting scheduled repairs. They were booked up for 2 months before they could return. The temporary repair held well and no other leaks happened.When they came in for the scheduled service, they found additional (unrelated to the storm) roof damage. Photos were take of everything and shown to me directly, I was also walked around the home and shown where the issues were happening. We agreed on a course of action, with additional costs. And the work was completed same day. They also took the additional time to address a unique roofline contstruction issue that was resulting in repeated water damage and rot to the fascia boards by thinking outside the box and engineering a unique solution. They were even able to source replacement concrete tiles that are comprable to our much older (and no longer manufactured) tiles.This crew was on time, professional, friendly, extraordinarily helpful, and well informed. The quality of their work was excellent. I have recieved photos of all estimated work and completed work, to ensure what has been done.Overall, I would highly recommend Powers Roofing Service to anyone. After a referral from my parents where they did an equally great job, they did the inspection on my roof and sent me photos. My house is 25 years old and has had the concrete tile roof repaired twice before due to minor leaks . This past Winter we discovered another minor leak in the same area as before. Not wanting to use the previous repair crews, I called Galen, owner of Powers Roof Service in Lincoln. He comes highly rated and I found out why. He is a straight up, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic detail guy who went up and took a look at my roof and came back with pictures, lots of pictures, showing me what it looked like up there. He told me what could could be done, what should be done and what needed to be done, giving me a specific bid with cost breakdowns for each item. Detailed. It was obvious Galen knew his stuff. We discussed what I wanted and set a date to get it done. The day of the repair, Galen and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. These guys are good. The repair included the expected cutting and banging and dusty mess. I expected that Id spend considerable time cleaning up outside when they left. Not the case. The crew was amazing. When done with the roof, they came down and swarmed around the outside sweeping, blowing, cleaning & tidying. When all was done, you couldnt tell they had been here at all, except for a roof that looked great. And, of course, I got more pictures of the entire process. Power rood service is one of the best in business. Galen responded to my email inquiry within couple of hours. He just looked at the photos taken by other roof inspection company and explained me everything in detail on phone what all needs to get fixed. Also he gave an estimate which was almost 40% less than other company. Initially he didnt have any available date in more than a month but he adjusted and scheduled the work on the day he was supposed to be off. First I want to thank everyone at Powers Roof Service for the excellent service, work and attitude. From the initial phone call from Michelle, to Brandon who did the roof review and temporary fix, to Alex, Asher, Chan, Galen, Luke and Vincent who did the repairs, everyone was polite, friendly, and great to work with.We have a 17 year old house that had a roof leak where water was running down the inside of the den which ruined the ceiling, walls, bamboo flooring etc.We had the original installer of the roof come out to inspect and try and work with us. I told him I was an Architect and the next thing he said was he could not understand why Architects design buildings this way. I told him I tried to address the leak and his response was Oh No, what did you do. After being insulted in the first minute of talking to him, we reached out to Powers Roofing Service. Best Decision we made concerning the roof.Brandon came out on December 28, photographed ALL of the issues and showed me how the debris builds up in/on the flashing combined with tiles pressing on the flashing, moves the water from the flashing over to the roofing paper and then into the house. The amount of debris in the flashing was astounding! Brandon then did a temporary fix for us in the leak area that worked great until they could come out and do the formal fix.We initially intended to only fix the leak area. After we were shown the debris build up in all of the old flashing and told of the new flashing that Powers Roof Service would install and WHY it will work better, we were sold. So we had all of the valley flashing removed and replaced. Yes, it was a bit more than we had started out to do, but understanding how the debris created issues once, it seemed easier to pay this now then have multiple issues and much larger costs down the road.The actual roof repair was on February 6th. Please note that the temporary fix that Brandon did on December 28th worked perfectly. It was tested many times with rain after he did the temp. fix. It took Powers Roof Service about 5 weeks to get to us to do the overall formal fix. They are busy and could not get to us right away. BUT, the temporary fix was great and the reason there was a wait period is they have a lot of work. They have a lot of work because they are very good at what they do. Please have patients with there schedule. You will not be disappointed.The owner, Galen was there first thing and worked along side his guys all day. Alex, Chan Luke, Asher, and Vincent all greeted me with a smile, and a hand shake. They were like a family who actually enjoyed working together. It was refreshing. Galen took the time to educate me on the process, type of metal, design of the metal, how it is installed etc.They detailed metal to make extra sure water was flowing the right way. And the exposed metal was painted to match the roof tile!Hiring Powers Roof Service was a great decision and we now have peace of mind that our roof is correctly flashed. Since we moved into a home with a tile roof 3 years ago Ive worked with Galen of Powers Roofing several times.When we first moved in, I called him with some questions about moss growth. He was kind enough to give me quite a bit of his time explaining the ins and outs of tile channels. Powers Roofing is by far the BEST Roofing Repair Company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Galen and his Team are the most professional, and Ive used a few different Roofing Contractors over the last 25 years in this region. The guys were courteous, competent, and very professional. The work they performed included changing valleys, rot repair, damaged tile, roof vents and a number of other items that needed repairing on my 31 year old Tile Roof. Galen walked the roof with me after the completion of the job and pointed out what was done and in fact, called out other items that were stucco related that he felt needed to be repaired ASAP to maintain the integrity of the interior walls-he even suggested a Stucco Guy for the work. Powers Roofing will get all my business from this point forward and I recommend them highly.

Came out after a bad storm that caused a ceiling leak. Patched it up timely and provided us with full roof inspection and pointed out other areas of concern, but wasnt pushy. They listed things in order of priority and worked with over time so it wasnt a monumental expense all at once. They provided before and after pictures so we could actually see what the problem areas were and just how they fixed them. We highly recommend Galen & his crew @ Powers Roof Service.

My first contact with Galen Powers was when I saw his crew working down the street for a neighbor that I have known for 16 years and highly respect. I asked Galen for an estimate on my roof. After the inspection, he provided me with specific pictures of the work scope, described in detail what needed to be done and what did not need to be done, along with a very reasonable price. I was impressed with his both his knowledge and his honesty. I could tell it was important to him to do a solid job without stiffing me. The job was soon completed, and again I received a thorough report with pics. I just climbed down from the roof after inspecting his work. Everything, including the price, was just as he said. This guy is a man of his word that did a first class job for my wife and I. If you need roof work done, youd better see Galen!

If I could I would give them 5 🌟 s x 2 = 10 🌟 s.Galen, owner, came out for our initial roof inspection after we had a leak. What very nice young man. Very knowledgeable, polite and NO pressure. His company ONLY works on tile roofs so he knows exactly what needs to be done.He was probably here for 2 hours between the inspection, taking pictures and sitting down with me to show and explain what he found. My husband was not home at the time and so he even came back to repeat everything to him. We were both so impressed with Galen that we didnt even bother to get another bid.Finally the day arrived for our 2 full day repair. We felt so sorry for the 4 young men as it was in the high 90s both days and of course the tile roofs make it a lot hotter. They were on time and worked really hard for about 8 hours both days.They were polite, hard workers, personable and seemed to work really well with each other. The first day they didnt even take a lunch break, only drank lots of liquid to keep hydrated. Personally I dont know how they did it and still be smiling at the end of a day. The whole time they were working on the roof they were taking pictures of what they found, what they did to fix it and then the end result. Chan, one of the foreman with the biggest smile ever, then came in and spent another 1/2 hour or so showing us all the pictures before, during and after and explaining everything. Since they found a lot of dry rot we were really glad that we took Galens breakdown and just did it all. If we hadnt we would have had major problems and headaches later.We now have a roof that should be good for many years.We just wanted to share our awesome experience working with Powers Roof Service and why the 10 🌟 s. Working with Galen has been hands down the best experience Ive ever had working with any tradesperson ever. It was instantly apparent his experience and approach to his work made him my choice to do the work I needed done. Later, when it turned out I needed work done at a larger scale, work that his smaller crew would just not have time to do, he spent consulting time with me on the phone - time he did not have to spend. I offered to pay for the time, but he was actually only concerned that I have the information I needed to end up with the best roof possible, even if hes not the one doing the work. Who does that?

I had water leaking under the eaves but had not yet worked its way up into the house. After spending time at the end of a 28 foot ladder without a resolution I gave powers roof services a call. Galen gave me an estimate while he was on site. He was able to schedule an appointment before the next rain. Im not exactly sure how you rate a roofing company since most people cant get up on a roof to inspect the quality of work. That being said, we received a visit from one of the owners or THE owner which to me was something unseen by most companies. Everyone of the individuals who worked on our roof was exceptionally polite, extremely thorough, and kept us up to date on exactly what they were doing. They highlighted points of interest and gave us the option of addressing those issues if necessary. So I guess I answered my own question. How do you rate a roofing company? Galen was working on my neighbors house down the street several months ago. I walked down to see what the issue was because all these homes in my neighborhood were built by the same builder. (Larchmont) He came to my home the next week and did a complete roof inspection and gave me a quote. I proceeded with the contract and a little over a month later Galen and his crew came out to do all the repairs. ( he is very busy and in high demand. For good reason) The builder had cut the tiles short on 2 large rakes on my house as well as some shorter ones. One area they even used a ton of caulk to try and make a flashing. All my rakes were dry rotted through the sheathing due to the felt being exposed and rotting out. He cleaned all my valleys and made some excellent valley flashings in other areas. Like most homes in this area the builder used unskilled roofers and those roofers were paid by the square. So all they cared about was speed.Galen and his crew rectified my entire roof going well above what was in the contract to repair. He took before and after photos to show the original sloppy construction. He replaced tiles where needed, new felt, new flashings, new rubber boots on all my air vent stacks and much more. If you are looking for an honest dependable Roofing contractor you have found him. Its sad that all the homes that have built in Roseville, Rocklin etc. all have these issues. No quality control what so ever. They threw these homes up in a matter of just a few months. Allot of key steps were bypassed for the sake of speed. Now we the home owners a few years later have to pay the price.But, if you need your tile roof repaired Galen is then one you need to call.
