This place is terrible. Stood there for 4 minutes. While the girl at the counter chewed the fat with some customer and the owner paid attention to his alarm system and ignored me. Just left to their competition. Amazing how hard it is for business to provide quality customer service. I added this after reading the owners response. Amazingly he defends ignoring me - a customer. Your surveillance camera also pick up the convo your front desk woman was having with the customer? Because it was anything but professional and expedient. It was self indulgent personal talk. And maybe it wasn’t 10 minutes of waiting but it was long enough being ignored with 30 pounds of boxes to walk out. You saw me - a customer standing there instead you were consumed with this alarm guy and ignored me. Think I want to drive around Palm Springs 90 degree heat looking where to ship boxes for fun? And when you see a customer waiting why ignore them to work with the alarm company? Does the alarm company pay your bills? And I say terrible because this is the 2nd time I’ve experienced this here. My mother said give you a 2nd try. Funny how how the owner puts more effort into surveillance on customers who complain, than helping the customers who complained. Im writing this because I wasted gas and a half hour.

I felt bad that I only needed a prepaid shipping label printed. I brought my own box so I only spent $1.35 for the label. The lady working there was very nice and so helpful. I was very appreciative. Definitely my new go to place for shipping.

Awful experience, beginning with having to wait on my walker outside on 110F for the Owner to finish cleaning the glass at the front door. Then after the clerk that took my order offered insurance for my parcels, he (the owner) took interrupted the transaction and denied the insurance and put another untrained employee to finish my transaction as they rushed me out of the store.Very deplorable treatment of a situation they created.

Made an appointment to visit Postal Palm Springs to get a DMV document notarized for my mother. You would think that after getting the feedback I see on the previous reviews, Postal Palm Springs service would have improved, however I was disappointed. They are capable of delivering good service as evident by the service the previous guess was receiving. The guess in front of me received a “WELCOME” greeting by staff. He was spoken to with respect, asked how he wanted to have packages sent, the conversation was pleasant about family and his daughters taking dance lessons. When we arrived at the counter it was literally night and day. As if we were somehow committing a crime. The notary at this business said “ can I help you”. I said we have an appointment to get a DMV document notarized. She immediately became defensive, asking if i was the signer. I said “ NO, my mother who is present is”. She then became accusatory telling me i could not speak to my mother about the document. As if I was somehow trying to defraud her. As a notary my self, i can not stamp my mothers document, however I know the only acknowledgement the notary is providing is verification the person with ID is the signer of the document. The notary is not verifying the legality or legitimacy of the document, she is not liable for the document, just that the signature is provided by the person holding ID. Well, this lady was thinking and acting beyond her pay grade and her capacity. I can’t stop but thinking that if I had been Canadian, blond and green eyed (like the guess in front of us) instead of colored and bearded, she would have acted and treated us differently.

Clerk/owner unenthusiastic receiver of prepaid UPS parcels, bordering on rude. His notary as well greeted us upon an earlier occasion with a frowning you have an appointment? She had just come on duty. She favored us with her $15/signature service reluctantly.

My experiences with the store and staff have been wonderful. It’s nice to have a store that is close and customer focused . Before I found this place used to wait in line at UPS and Palm Springs post office, never have to wait long here. I have had everything done from passport photos to returns to shipping items, to copying always pleased with the service and results . Definitely worth the 5 star.

Before I moved to Palm Springs early in 2018 I did great research in trying to find a mail service business so that I could have an address to receive my mail at. I did not want my physical address to be known by many because of who I am. I chose Postal Palm Springs. I knew from my first visit that I had made a wise decision. Mike, the manager, and his staff need to give some other businesses in Palm Springs lessons in what good customer service is. I love these people because they are always very pleasant and willing to help. They go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. If they are not able to help you, due to restrictions, they will point you in the right direction. They offer many great services but you have to remember they dont do every single thing that a regular U.S. Post Office can. They come pretty close though. Mike and his staff are AAA+++ in my book. Thank you so much and you guys are greatly appreciate. This is TSD!

This is a place I have no problem going to. The staff are friendly and very open minded. I have gone out of my way on more than one occasion to get the simplest of services from them and it is always worth the extra mile. I have rented a box, had things notarized, and used shipping services. I always feel the enviroment is non-judgmental. I frequently see staff that are treated very well and it reflects in their services making me feel like this is a positive place to bring my business. As a business this is a company I definitely want in my community.

For the past couple of years, Ive been a regular customer and used Postal Palm Springs for overnight packages/letters, faxing, notarizing and packaging materials. Always pleasant, never a problem.Things change, sometimes, with new owners. Never again!Last Wednesday, I went in to send an overnight letter via UPS ($64 - ouch!). Expensive, but, you know, when it has to be there! Anyway, in conversation, I learned that the place was under new ownership--sounded like it was very recent. Next day, my UPS overnight didnt arrive overnight--it didnt arrive for 2 days which presented some problems (but beyond the scope of this review). So, I went in Friday afternoon (after it had finally been delivered) to ask for a refund or partial refund since it didnt arrive as promised and since Id wasted about 2 hours on the phone with UPS on Thursday trying to make arrangements for it to be picked up on the delivery end. (By the way, I initially contacted UPS by phone about a refund but they indicated that since I purchased the service from Postal Palm Springs that I would have to request the refund from them as well). While there on Friday, I was told by the owner weve never had this happen before and dont know what to do--which, I suppose, was plausible given the new ownership. They didnt give me a refund Friday, which was disappointing, but not a huge deal. Of course, I would have thought new owners would want to make a good customer service impression and have provided me a refund, and then followed up with UPS to get their reimbursement. But, that was not the case. Instead, they took my contact information and said theyd call me back. Clearly, a missed opportunity for great customer service--but, whatever....Not having heard anything from them by Tuesday, I was at the Stater Bros next door, and stopped in to follow up on my refund. Heres where the haughty, really nasty attitude kicked in. The owner said (hands on hips) I called them Friday. I havent heard anything. What do you want me to do? (not said politely--which would have been fine--but said with incredible sarcasm and disdain--as if HE was the victim of a package not delivered on time rather than me!). I politely answered his question, Well, Id like you to call them back today and find out whats going on. UPS can clearly see the package wasnt delivered on time and a refund is certainly in order. He had no interest in doing that and it certainly seemed like he just wanted me and the whole situation to go away. Then, surprisingly, he said, with a level of disgust that a review can never convey: You know, Im just going to give you your money back!. He walked to the back room. Had that been done in a pleasant, Im so sorry for your inconvenience, sir. Let me refund your money now, and then Ill sort it out with UPS later sort of way--Id be writing a nice, positive review right now. But no, it was said in the nastiest way. About 5 minutes later, he came back out to the counter and stuck the cash in my face. Not one word, no apology, nothing. I said thank you, sir and left.Seriously, all I can say is why do people who hate customers go into a customer service business. I used this place for years, and presumably a new owner was buying a stream of returning customers among other things. Why as a new owner would you go so out of your way to be a jerk? Especially when you were learning the ropes with UPS and there were so many opportunities to make a screwed up situation right with a customer. Rest assured, Ill never set foot in Postal Palm Springs again. It wont surprise me if other returning customers encounter the same new owner experience when something doesnt go quite right.
