Ordered a Heat Pump pool heater ($5389) on 5/8/24, and was sent a damaged unit, upon notifying the seller of damages immediately, I was asked by seller if I opened (cut straps off of pallet, cut into box and try to remove a 275 pound unit to look for damages while the driver is there?)the box to check before signing and allowing the driver to leave, (R & L driver stated absolutely not, our policy states customer is not to touch box before signing for it) Unit was then picked up for return on 5/16/24, after several emails asking for a replacement, on 5/22/24 seller asked via email if the unit was picked up!!! All the while I have not been refunded nor had a new unit sent to me at over $5300 for this purchase!! I had sent the seller the pro number from R & L trucking proving the item was not only picked up on 5/16, but DELIVERED to the destination on 5/20/24!! They are asking if it was picked up TWO DAYS AFTER it was delivered back to them! It is now 5/23/24 and I do not have a refund nor a replacement for this very large purchase. I am now disputing this charge with my credit company. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS SELLER, their email responses are half sentences and do not even leave a name at the end of their emails. If they respond to this, I will forward the emails and trucking pro number.

Editing my review to a 5 star review! After many emails back and forth, PS4L worked on my behalf with Pentair to get my cracked panels replaced! The replacement panels just arrived today to me so I can put my heater together. Thank you PS4L for helping to make this situation correct for me, I am a single mom, and putting myself through grad school, the heater was a gift to myself-but an expensive one! I am very thankful they helped fix this as the replacement panels would have been very costly for me.I ordered a Pentair Master Temp pool heater for my in ground pool. I was very excited that the customer service seemed wonderful and the order shipped quickly. When the box came, the box was not damaged and appeared that all was fine-I did sign for the delivery. There is a clause in their ordering that you must be home and sign for these big deliveries-it states in the email that they continue to quote me that I was to inspect the box for damage and sign, and if needed, unpackage the box in front of the delivery driver. My box was in perfect condition so there was not a need in my opinion to open the box in front of the driver. When I went to open the box later in the day to get the heater ready for install, it was then that I realized that the lid was pretty cracked on the unit. I immediately contacted customer service who was very responsive and tried making a claim with the delivery service. I do not believe this was a delivery issue-I truly believe this unit was packed this way-today, we went to take the rest of the unit out of the box, and there is considerable damage to the units plastic casing. PS4L states they are not liable since I signed for the package. These units are expensive and I want everyone to know that BUYER BEWARE! Check your box upon arrival, open it up, I guess at least I could have placed blame on the poor delivery driver. PS4L is doing nothing to help repair this unit for me-just quoted me the cost for the parts to fix it! Seriously!!

Find your item elsewhere. I purchased a wireless base receiver for a pool remote from this site, and it wasnt able to solve my problem. I initiated a return, and customer support sends me a 7 word response, saying I need to plug it straight into the main board. I informed them that plugging it in yielded no results, to which they informed me that I can no longer return it, because its been plugged in.. Pretty incredible. Please plug it in, didnt work?, sorry, our policy states we dont take returns on items that have been plugged in (even if we told you to). After many back and forth emails explaining how unethical this was, they informed me that they will make a one-time exception and send me the details on initiating the return. The policy states that there is a 15% restocking fee, and the return can be declined upon receipt. Nothing about my interaction leads me to believe that any sort of refund will be received upon sending them the item back. Even if this company has the item you want for less, I would recommend paying more elsewhere and having a better experience.

Pool valve had a barely visible crack with the naked eye but when I used a magnifier to take a clear photo through magnifier I could see it and who knows when water pressure build up can leak. I received a free return label so I have to look somewhere for another valve. 2 other valves from a major site had other hairline cracks and I returned them so I dont know ... these made in China parts are a pain look at these clear pictures that I took with a magnifier ..what I send to poolsupply4less in first email was not clear enough cause I used phone for photo but in the next emails they saw it more clearly.Cannot risk another installation payment for something that shows a crack look at it when it comes back please.Pay attention with this site cause return policy is shady better with other major sites where return is free and no risks. I order here only because I had surprises w similar valves at other site. This is not their fault cause defect is barely visible and easy not to be seen and they refunded.PS- part is Hayward but they are made in China assembled in US. Injection molding machine more likely has a problem otherwise the valve looked very good...the problem with this company is that they dont offer free returns if you changed your mind or from the moment you install the part it become a manufacturer warranty and you cannot send back so better read their return and refund policy is not like other major sellers.

I purchased a Pentair pool filter from Pool Supply 4 Less. Package came, in all good condition, very quickly I might add. Took it out of the factory package, and found that the assembly ring that holds the top to the bottom of the filter housing is broken. I thought to myself, how in the world am I going to get this replaced? No way its going to happen. Lo and behold, I sent an email to Pool Supply 4 Less to customer support. And within three days, I had a brand new ring! They were amazing! They were the least expensive online for making this particular purchase. Highly recommend them for all your pool/spa needs. Customer service is not yet dead!

I purchased a Pentair MasterTemp Pool Heater 400,000 BTU Propane Low Nox EC-462029 in January of 2023 and had it installed on March 22, 2023 by an authorized Pentair installer/dealer. The heater has started to fail after less than 60 days in service. Beware about the warranty when purchasing from this online retailer as it is only for 1 year and does not include labor.This product has broken twice in the past year, I would NOT recommend purchasing this product.

The people who work here are very professional, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Blake was super patient and helpful and had every answer to the most technical questions I asked him. Prices were significantly better than everyone else as well. This is the only pool supply store I will ever purchase from.

I received an order confirmation the same day and my order was shipped on Tuesday. I received it on Friday. One week later with a Holiday. Wow! Looked high & low for months for a replacement Hayward Colorlogic pool light. They had it for less than anyone else, albeit the price for them ANYWHERE is insane! I was skeptical to order from them since I never had before but decided to go by reviews. Placed my order online and received a shipping notice within just a couple of hours, the very same day! Received light within 3 days. Installed today, works perfect. Also good customer service as they answered a question I had by email within 1 hour! Definitely will buy from again!

Placed an order for a vs pump on March 28. I received the confirmation email shortly after. That’s when I noticed it stated shipping would take 7 to 10 days. Which is completely different than what the “about us” section of their site says. They state that most orders ship next business day on the web site.Well, here I am on the 12 of April and I still have not received an email stating that the part I ordered and paid for has shipped. It’s useless trying to call this company, no one ever answers the phone. Heed the warning, do not order from this company. I won’t ever again as this has been the absolute worst e-commerce experience I have had. Just hope I get either the pump or my money back!

I purchased a Pentair 2HP motor and pump and when it was delivered the shipping box was severely damaged like it had fallen off the back of a truck. Upon opening the shipping box and inspecting my purchase, the motor access cover and base that supports the motor were broken. I reached out to them to discuss a compensation for the delivery of the damaged item and was told to send pictures to an email address. The email address returned my email undelivered. I called back multiple times with no answer and no return calls from the company. With no communication from PS4L, I was forced to have the damaged equipment repaired locally. I would caution anyone from doing business with this company.

I have ordered from poolsupply4less a few times. Each time the process is very easy and fast. Even though I am in Florida, they are able to get me the product within a few days from California. They always have the best prices with no tax and no shipping. I highly recommend putting this company on your pool replacement parts lists without a doubt. My latest project was to replace the board in my Hayward ProLogic panel. Poolsupply4less shipped the new board right out to me. I popped in the board and all is working well again. Saved about $500 by doing it myself. Highly recommend this company.

I spent days looking for the pool heater I needed. I actually ordered from another vender and promptly found out they lied about stocking levels and shipping. I promptly cancelled the order and reached out to Pool Supply 4 less. They shipped my unit promptly and it arrived on time and exactly what was promised. This is normal customer service. Here is where they shine. I ordered the WRONG vent. I emailed them to explain MY mistake and they are taking the unit and getting me the correct unit. LOVE these folks. Will continue to do business for a long time. THANKS!

Purchased a motor and drive for hayward baker variable speed pump. Pricing was great, fast delivery, and great response from customer service. Product was in stock, came in on time. Surprised by how much less expensive the item was. But now I know why. They sent me a faulty/refurbished product that leaks (after two months. Item typically lasts 3-5 years).I reached out for a refund and customer service takes one day to respond to each email. They keep giving me the run around and will not take responsibility.I do not recommend this site.

We placed an order on March 24th and before we did, called and spoke with a salesman at the store who confirmed our item was in stock. We placed the order, received the email that the heater would ship in 7 to 10 business days and we have yet to receive it. We have called, we have emailed, and I have spent hours calling again, only to be told by a machine message that the store will not be answering any calls and all inquiries need to be sent via email. I have done that. Also, our credit card was charged so we have paid for an item that we have not received. No one at this company will answer the phone or reply to the emails (which was encouraged by the phone message). I am getting very wary of this company and would really appreciate a response back.Update: My order # is 140665 under Chad Land (not Raven J Guy) placed on 3/24/2021. We have sent an email per your system generated message when we call the store to which we have not received a reply. This item was ordered two and a half weeks ago. I want to know if you have this item in stock as verified when we called BEFORE purchasing and if so, when it will ship since it is delayed and we have received nothing from your company.Update: We received a phone call and were told our item would ship in the next day or so. It did and we were provided with a tracking number. We were unable to track it but the item did arrive 10 days after it was shipped.

The worst customer service II have every dealt with online. I live in Texas and purchased a Hayward Heat exchanger FDXLHXA1400 on 2/19/21 at 2:55PM CST. In my emailed receipt it stated the ship time would be 48-72 hours. I emailed the company 2 times and left 4 voicemails with zero responses as of March 1, 8:00am . I emailed them again today and they finally sent an email at 2:16 pm CST.In this email they stated my order was cancel because of no inventory ?????So the order was canceled but not refunded for 10 days ? I completely understand it was busy because of the storms in Texas but they have ZERO excuses for not emailing or calling me back in 6 days. I did not know my order was canceled and my pool set broken for 10 days .I thought they were just backed up since I was told nothing . NOW today, I was forced to purchase my item for $300 more from another retailer. If Pool Supply 4 Less would have been more honest and upfront I could have ordered my item from the new company and installed it today!

Horrible customer service. I ordered a replacement part for my pool because of the Texas weather. They said they had the part and charged me for the part. A few weeks later after not receiving any notification about the part I asked if they were going to ship me my part. They said they were going to ship the part this week. At the end of the week I get a notification that they dont actually have the part they said they were shipping to me that week. Now I have to scramble and find a part that just isnt available anymore. If They had handled the situation correctly I might have found the part in the last 4 weeks. Do not buy from this company.

I placed an order Feb 24th and have been unsuccessful in trying to contact Poolsupply4less to get a status on my order. I have tried calling several times, left voice messages and I have emailed. The money was withdrawn from my account 7 days ago but I have not received a tracking number for proof of shipment or the product. The website states that all orders are shipped in 2-3 days. I am very uncomfortable with this company at the moment. I will repost with an update in 1 week. Update - after this post I did receive an email stating that because this was the off season and the winter storm that hit the State of Texas they now shipping 7 days out and that my order will ship by the end of the week.By the end of day (10pm CST) on the 9th day, I still had not received an email with the shipping information. So I handed it over to my husband, who sent out another email on March 8th. He received a reply stating that our order was shipped out on Saturday, March 7th with UPS and they provided a tracking number. However, when we tried to tracking the package, UPS did not recognize the number. We waited a couple of hours and tried again and still UPS did not have this number in there system. Again we emailed Pool Supply 4 less to be told that UPS had not picked up the package as of yet. ... Why would you tell us that it had shipped out if it had not!!!! By the end of the day we can see that UPS has it in their tracking system. I will update in one week to let you know if it works. The sad thing is that experience has lost them a great customer. I was prepared to order a Polaris pool cleaner and some other items because the other reviews and their prices. I would rather pay $20 more and get much better customer service.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I bought a replacement filter for my rental home in Mexico. When I arrived in Mexico, I discovered I had ordered the wrong filter. It was still in the wrapper in “NEW” condition. When I requested to exchange the filter for the proper one, I was told that it was past the 3m day return policy. I just wanted to return it and get the one I needed. Not only that, but when I spoke to the “manager”, he was quite rude and would not even consider the circumstances of my delima. Customer service SUCKS! Even if you have to pay more, buy from any place but this place.

After ordering once I’d order from them again. Just make sure you know what you need. I’d be afraid of what might happen if there were a problem though.

Bought a pentair rebel rebuild kit and received the wrong one. Looking back it did say version 2 but in the picture it displayed a version one which is what I went off of. I tried calling to set up a return multiple times and could never get through to anyone and no returned calls.

These guys print one thing and then call you with something totally different story. I purchased pool equipment online and provided pool equipment 4 less with my credit card. The credit card was charged and I received an email stating I WOULD have equipment witIN 5 to 7 days. I received an additional email about the heater delivery and some additional measures I needed to take before accepting delivery of heater.I received a call from a shipping company 4 days later scheduling delivery of order. I’m thinking ok great.I then receive a call 2 days later from poolequipement4less asking why I have not returned there call and confirming I wanted delivery of my order? I explained I spoke with shipping company two days ago and delivery was scheduled for next day. He said, ‘’ that is the heater the rest of the equipment is still here and we need verbal confirmation from you on shipping the remainder of the order’’? I asked why did you ship heater this makes no sense? I explained when I ordered I received email stating I would receive order with 5 to 7 days. The man at pool equipment 4 less then argued it says 5 to 7 business days. I went back and looked and it does not say business days.I cannot believe they ship a portion of the order and then sit around and Harass you on the phone about the bulk of the remainder of the order. The email I received after purchase stated I would receive everything 5 to 7 days after they where paid. Pool equipment 4 less got there money day one and I’m getting my pool equipment day 12. This cost my workers 4 to 5 days because of pool equipment 4 less misleading and total lack of communication and utter disregard to admit there error.

The only reason Im not giving this place only 1 star is because they shipped my new pool heater so fast. However after it was delivered here in upstate NY in late January (I figured pricing and inventory may be better), its still a bit too early to open the pool because, you know, its cold and it snows a lot here. Dont think these CA guys ever saw a snowflake in their lives. Anyway after putting it in my garage, I opened the top of the box for a peak and didnt see any damage and it sat for there for next 2 months. Fast forward to last week when my pool guy opened the box, the unit was clearly dropped and most panels were cracked and/or shattered. I reached out to this company, assuming they would provide extraordinary customer service, to see what my options were and they promptly emailed me stating since it was over 30 days they cant do a thing for me expect send the photos of the damages to the manufacturer. I left two voicemails with no return calls. If there was an award for lousiest customer service, these guys are the champs. Way to go! Cue their inventible response...

We had loss of power for some time in Texas last week. The Hayward heat exchanger in our pool heater ruptured. They have shipped the replacement part already. Pool Supply 4 Less was one of the very few companies that did not take advantage of the consumer. Many sites were doubling the price of this part, and this vendor did not. That demonstrates the integrity from this company. Of course, due to the overwhelming demand, most suppliers will not have this in stock now. When the parts become available through the manufacturer, I would highly recommend using Pool Supply 4 Less.

Purchased the wrong light LED light(wrong voltage). Simple mistake as I’ve never replaced one. Was a hassle to try and return the light, as if they didn’t want to take a brand new light back. Had to pay for return shipping and then charged 10% restock fee for a 1 box few pound light!! What a joke! Won’t do business with again! Plenty of other suppliers to deal with out there to have to accept restocking fees!

We are first time pool owners. We called Pool Supplies 4 less to get a heater for our new pool because the original one wasn’t working up to potential. I called multiple times and spoke to the customer service team while trying to decide the perfect heater for my pool. With the customer service teams help with decided to go with the Pentair Mastertemp 400. It arrived in a timely manner during this pandemic. It’s now been installed and we are so happy with our purchase. I will continue using Pool Supplies 4 Less for all our pool needs. I really appreciate the way they walked us through everything and “dumbed” it down so a novice like me could make the right decision.

I ordered the wrong pool pump which was my fault. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. Emailing customer Support they make you wait 48 hours for a response, so if you have a few questions it literally takes two weeks to figure out how to return your item, on top of that they only give you 85% of what you paid for the item. Overall very irritating to work with will not order from them again.

Astounded!!!Bought a new filter, costing upwards of $1000.00 from PS4L, after researching about 15 other online pool supply stores. I chose PS4L, not just because of the price, but also due to the great reviews they seem to have received.The filter showed up the next day (surprise), and i cut the box apart and attempted to install it That is when i noticed that the filter label said DE instead of Cartridge (The box was labeled for both types, same outer shell). I was upset. I called PSFL the next day and Blake acknowledged the error, and arranged for delivery of the correct cartridge filter, and pick-up of the DE filter. Imagine my surprise, when again the filter showed up within 24 hours. The filter is installed and running perfectly. Bought 2 Pentair 5G lights. Had them both wired up and only one worked. Errrrrr. Talked to manager Blake who said he could NOT help me. I have to go through Pentair. I have a work order now with Pentair and a local pool company to come out and fix it. Wish me Luck. Never buying from here again !!! STAY AWAY .

Absolute SCAM. DO NOT BUY from here. I bought a pool cleaner that did not work. They are trying to not accept return saying that they cannot accept returns once installed. How would I possibly know it would not work without trying to install?? Buy from here if you like paying for defective units and receiving poor customer service.

The guys that run this PS4L are terrific. They know pools and equipment... They help me get my pool summer ready each year! Whether its online, shipped, picked-up, or in-store, youre not going to get a better experience anywhere else.Also, go ahead and compare prices between this store and the Leslies across the street, the same exact product at PS4L costs almost 25%-35% LESS than Leslies. Pool Supply 4 Less had my model Hayward SuperPump II replacement for less than any place else I could find. Pump arrived in just few days after ordering and had it installed few hours later. I recommend these guys.

Extremely poor customer service. Using a debit card they suspended the money in our account (twice). Blake refused to help saying it was their processor. He made us wait 5 days and and still refused to call the processor. PS4L doesnt care about the individual customer regardless of the order size.

We bought $3080 worth of Pentair equipment 4/18 and now the salt generator isnt producing and I can get NO help from PS4less or Pentair. Do your research and be careful when buying expensive pool equipment online

Bought a 3 drain cover. Based on their ad I thought I was buying a 3 pack of covers. Only received one at a cost of $14.00. You can but a 5 pack on Amazon for $9.59 or $1.91 each. Watch our for these guys and the wording on their product. They are way too expensive. I cant recommend doing business with them.
