Pool Guy Supply is the best! They are there with you the entire time to offer their assistance, expertise and trouble shooting. I can’t say enough about their customer service and, of course, their quick delivery. The help they gave to us, saved us from spending a couple hundred dollars on an extra part we did not need. My Hayward salt chlorinator was zapped by a lightning strike so after some research I purchased and installed a new circuit board, flow switch, and salt cell that I purchased from PGS. I installed each component individually trying to find the cheapest solution to my problem and the technical team was there every step of the way to help me with installation and advice when we hit a roadblock. Once I got all three products installed, my system is operating better than when it was new. I cannot say enough good things about Pool Guy Supply, from the products to the price, to the technical support, and customer service. Each one of them is top notch. Definitely recommend.

This place is bar none the best. I ordered 2 parts for my hayward pool in Arizona. Ive been dealing with issues since 2015, its currebtly september 2023. Hayward has been no help. These guys got me the parts I needed for less than half of what pool stores have been quoting me. Their tech support was spot on as well. How are they better than Hayward themselves? No idea, but just use these guys.

Do not buy from Pool Guy Supply. They WILL NOT HONOR THEIR “SUPPOSED” 1 year warranty. All they can harp on is a 30 day return policy. If something I’m not compatible with a certain system (even though they conveniently leave that part out) it should be covered under warranty 30 days or 3000 days

I have been using Pool Guy Supply for over 10 years now. They have great products and great prices (I try to do as much of my own pool work as possible). Recently I purchased a flow sensor for my salt cell and after 2 months it experienced a structural failure with the flexible contact. I contacted Pool Guy Supply and after sending them a picture of the failed sensor, they sent me a new one at no cost. Great, great customer service. They are the best!

Great prices and customer service! Ordered filter cartridges and two of the four had slight cracks on the top. Messaged them and just asked if the cracks would be an issue, never requested any compensation. They responded and immediately sent replacements. Understand things happen during shipping but they took care of it no questions. Thank you!

Went there to pick up the dex2421jkit it’s a replacement clamp for a de4800 Hayward filter system after 3 shops said it won’t work and I would have to spend 1500.00 to buy a new 48 square foot filter system the sales lady who was amazing called the supplier and verified it would work and assured me of that fact . They went above and beyond and were in stock and only 10.00 higher that Amazon . Excellent service and will be back again and again

Defective unit received. They told me to cut some wires without explaining why. I asked a partial refund because it cost me 60 dollars to pay my pool guy to install it. They said they will refund if I return the unit. I return it and they declined my refund. Only for 40 dollars. Weird company...

I’d have to say don’t do it. Bought a salt generator motherboard last august and it has not worked properly a day that we have owned it. After multiple calls - the guy actually told me that it shouldn’t read those numbers unless I tampered with it!!!! Resetting the readings 4-5 times to get it to read correctly is NOT NORMAL. They said they will replace it if I send them my board, let them rest it and then send me another. So in May I should take our pool down 10 days to 2 weeks!! Alex is the top guy there - no one above him (according to him). I would just say it’s not worth the headache of saving a few dollars. The run around and faulty equipment is not worth the headache. Horrible service / faulty products.Update. After 4 weeks of no return calls, no help, and resetting our faulty motherboard everyday to make it work- I purchased an OEM motherboard and had the salt system working optimally in 20 minutes. Horrible that they knowingly sell expensive trash (others had the same problem with their product purchased the exact same week) and won’t stand behind it. Lesson learned.

I am writing this review to warn customers, if you buy from this place, make sure that is exactly what you need and that will work for you, because even they said that they have 30 day return policy THEY WILL NOT LET YOU RETURN and REFUND you money.I bought cartridges for my Pentair 420 filter. The description said it will fit in, but it is not. After we out them in and started our pump, the air pressure went so high and he’s our top of the filter expoloded, some piping broke and damaged the gears for our inground cleaning system. I had 2 technicians coming to fix and both said that cartridges are not for this filter. I went to the store and bought PleatcoPure filter, and solved the problem of air pressure. I emailed to customer service of Pool Guy Supply to return the cartridges back, plus I am still in 30 days returning policy frame, but they are refusing my return.

Completely satisfied with The Pool Guy Supply. I found their website by searching for filter cartridge replacement, I didn’t realize they were local until later. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for because the part was proprietary to the pool builder, so I called them. The guy who answered the phone was helpful, and recommended what I need. I drove down there to make the purchase. The guy at the counter spent some time with me to answer some general maintenance questions about my whole system. I didn’t feel rushed or like I was wasting his time. I installed the filters and my pump is moving a ton of water again. Their prices were competitive with web prices, but I could go down and pick up right away while supporting a local business. I will continue to use these guys for all my pool parts needs, and recommend others do the same. Thank you.

I found them through Google with my spa type. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable and made sure I had the right product. Dealing with them was like dealing with someone local and that was important in terms of feeling comfortable doing business. The price was excellent -- about half of what the same product would cost at my local Leslie Pools. The shipping was free and it arrived the next day. Overall I was very impressed and will definitely do business with them in the future. They are highly recommended.

I ordered a replacement circuit board for my AquaRite Goldline salt system. First, I emailed a question about the model number of my unit and asked if they carried the correct replacement. Pool Guy Supply is awesome. I found them by googling the circuit board I needed for my salt water pool. They had the best price. I received it and installed it and it worked fine for two months. It then stopped working. They walked me through troubleshooting steps. Turned out I needed another board which they sent to me free of charge even though it was out of warranty. Ordered a mother board and display board for a Goldline salt generator. Hooked it up and it did not seem to be functioning correctly. I called and talked to Jason. He asked me To send some pictures of the installation and he would have the tech guys look at them and get back to me. Jason called me back within the hour and identified the problem. I had misaligned the display contact pins. Once aligned correctly it’s working great. That’s what I call fast, efficient service. Highly recommend this company.

These guys are amazing. This is only my second time ordering but will be my main go to for my pool. Pool company quoted me $1800 for a new Chlorine Generator. After reading the info on their website, found that I only needed a new board. Cost me $160 vs $1800. Had a small issue, they immediately called me back on a Saturday and the issue was solved (I plugged in the salt cell cord incorrectly). Cant go wrong with Pool Guy Supply!

Purchased replacement board for Aqua Rite Salt System. Installed board. It ran perfectly for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks ALL the lights on the board came on and malfunctioned further from that point defaulting to add salt and check cell. Spoke with Jason on the phone 2 times trying to diagnose. He was very helpful and determined the board was bad. Per their request I returned the board to them at my cost of $14 shipping. They did a bench test and called to tell me the board was good and that they would send it back for $15 shipping. They would not consider that their testing was not accurate and the board was defective. I asked them to recheck and they said no. Spoke to Tom the manager and he blamed my installation as to is malfunction. I own 3 pools including rental property and maintain all my pools. This is not the first board I have changed and most likely not the last. The fact that it worked for 3 weeks also means it was not installation error. Long story short. I purchased another board from a different supplier and it works perfectly! Pool Guy Supply did agree to send me another board after about an hour of arguing with them but they charged me $15 shipping to return the new board. I dont think I should have to pay the shipping on a defective piece or had to deal with the run around and what they are calling policy. My warner to you as a potential Pool Guy Supply consumer is dont let their attractive price over shadow the value of proper and good customer service and the supplier doing the right thing. I do not recommend them on the grounds of poor service after the sale.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEI ordered some pool filter cartridges from them. Unfortunately the product number on my pool filter didnt match the cartridges inside, so I had to return them and re-order the right size. When I called them, they said that I would have to pay to ship them back, AND they would charge me an additional 20% restocking fee. This after Id ordered new ones from them--great way to reward customer loyalty. Lodged a complaint with PayPal--they then lied and claimed that it wasnt a restocking fee, but for shipping costs--which I paid myself.Bad service and dishonest.

A misleading product description from a Google AD resulted in a product not fitting with my equipment. Be sure to double check the dimensions and information they provide on their site versus trusting the Google algorithim.When I contacted them, they informed me of the restocking fee. I came home from vacation to find a cloudy pool. Turns out the salt generator was not functioning properly. After some online research it seemed to be the PCB circuit board but I was not sure. I immediately called Pool Guy Supply on Monday morning and spoke to a fantastic representative on the phone. She took the time to talk me through my problem and troubleshoot the issue. She concluded it was the circuit board. I spoke to her Monday at 8 am EST. At 2 pm on Wednesday the Fed Ex guy was at my door with my new board! Using their video tutorial (its not hard) I had my new board in within 20 minutes. Not only were they knowledgeable but they were right on target with their delivery promise of 2 day FREE shipping! Could not get it to work and these folks were helpful and sent a new one out right away. Could not be happier! Mind you, there was virtually no service or tech support from Hayward - all they did was send me a link to their troubleshooting guides, which was no help at all. Bought a t cell 15 from pool guy supply. First unit lasted 16 months. Even though it had a 3 year warranty, I had to pay another $100 to get a replacement. The replacement stopped working after 10 months. Units are not lasting and are not worth the money. Do not buy from them if you expect a quality product that will last.

They have a flow switch labled for intellichlor which is what my system is it has a temp and flow built in one. When I called to see about exchanging it for one that actually works for intellichlor the lady had no clue of one that senses temp and flow after saying she was not very familiar with pentair products. I asked about trading it for the right part and she said just send it back to us....I think the address is on the invoice, we will also charge a 20% restocking fee plus you paying shipping I would pay 50% of the original price just to get the right part. They do not stand by what they advertise on what fits what equipment on there site. I will take my business elsewhere

My Aquarite salt system was not making chlorine. I took the T-cell 15 to the local pool store and they tested it. Tested fine so something else was wrong. I took out the flow switch and tried to clean it as instructed...still not flow and no chlorine. I price a new flow switch at the two pool stores we have here...one was $300 and the other was $160. Found Pool Guy Supply online and they sent me one for $32.50. Put it on today and it is working perfectly and making chlorine as it is supposed to.I will buy any and all Aqurite boards, t-Cells, cartridge filters, etc. from these guys again...Great prices and excellent service too. Although I live in Houston, TX, PGS always helps me with any questions I may have and quickly ships my order to me. Although I have a pool service I still prefer doing my own equipment servicing myself. Pool Guy has consistently had just about anything I need for my project(s). Again, If I have doubts, PGS reassures me or answers any questions I may have. I have even taken pictures with my phone and sent the images just to be sure we were on the same page. I installed their simple cell cell-h-40k cell in june 2019. It is now july 2020 and the cell is reading low salt. I tested the salt and brought a sample two two different pool stores for testing. All three tests came back with a reading of 3000-3100 ppm. The cell is reading 2200-2500 ppm. I have had several oem cells over the years and know how to maintain the pools water chemistry and maintain the cell.I Saw this cell on sale on poolguysuplly and thought I would try it out. You remove it and put a dummy cell when the water gets to cold outside. I first installed it in june 2019 and it has less than 6 months run time running at a levels of 25%. My pool is only 11k gallons but my panel software only allows the 40k cell.The oem cells cost more but they have a three year warranty for a reason. They can be easily found for 4 to 6 hundred dollars all day on line. I figured for half the price this aftermarket cell is a good deal.When I called they told be some bs well even if it lasts 1 year you could get 3 cells and it would be cheaper than buying the oem. That is also bs. It would cost you$900-$1000.00.Now im screwed during these hard times and have to spend money to buy a new cell.Poolguysupply gets calls on these garbage cells all day and continue to still cell them. I called Optimum pool technologies the salt cell manufacture left many messages and never got a return or any help.I just looked up the address and saw that poolguysupply and optimum pool technologies are at the same address.I dont like to leave bad reviews but this is bs. You own the company that makes this cell and wont back you product.Stay away from this company

Buyer Beware, if you go with this company, make sure you order exactly what you want or is it going to cost you for shipping and restocking. You are better off trying Amazon around the same price as theirs and if it is not the correct item, it does not cost you to return it.

Just a quick wanna make money and not help. Simply because the lack of knowledge. Had a salt cell and told me it was a water situation. Was entirely false . Just had to do a mulitiple acid wash clean on my cell and works great.
