5 Star Service from Ponderosa Flower Shoppe! I placed an order online for a next day delivery and was absolutely thrilled with the level of communication I received ! I was sent not only a confirmation of my order, but also notifications that the flower arrangement had been made (attached with a picture), was out for delivery, and had been successfully delivered. My request for a specific arrangement was met and exceeded, and the photo showing the beautiful piece was a huge plus for me since this was a gift!!! I am so pleased with my purchase + delivery from Ponderosa Flower Shoppe and highly recommend them for your floral arrangement needs!

Perfect experience with Ponderosa Flower Shoppe! I placed an online order for same day delivery and I couldnt have picked a better place! I ordered in the morning before they opened at 9, and the beautiful arrangement was delivered by noon. I know this because you receive a convenient email notification. My favorite part is that they send you a pic of the flowers before they deliver so you can see exactly what the recipient is receiving. Flowers were perfect and price was fair. I highly recommend Ponderosa!! 💛

This florist, Yvonne, is outstanding. I had a family members pet pass away and she not only provided a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers but personalized it with no hassle and was extremely prompt with delivery. I had asked for some custom pieces in the bouquet and she called me as soon as she received my order to ask what kind of dog he was and found a piece that almost perfectly matched him. The family greatly appreciated the flowers and I will definitely be coming back for future (hopefully happier) occasions!

I needed a beautiful flower arrangement for my daughter in laws mother, who is an expert floral arranger herself. Since I live out of the area, my D.I.L.suggested Ponderosa as the best florist in town, and told me her moms favorite blooms. I knew I needed something gorgeous, with all colorful, fresh blooms, and it needed to be delivered where the person answering the door might not speak much English. Esther, the amazing, kind, and detail-minded lady who took my phone order, made sure all the flowers I asked for were in the cheerful arrangement, which they custom made for me, and personally delivered the flowers at the exact time she quoted me, AND even took a photo and texted it to me, so I could share it with my D.I.L., who also lives out of town. They both were THRILLED! It certainly helped her moms recovery by bringing her much joy!Esther said the secret ingredient they put in the flowers is love. That is what they delivered, for sure.I am so glad I ordered from Ponderosa and Esther. Knowing that you can count on an out of town company, makes it a pleasure to do business with them!

The Signature Flower Box bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! The flowers were delivered on time and the Bloomsnap feature of the item sent out for delivery is such a great personal touch. The recipient confirmed that the bouquet was exactly like the actual snapshot that was sent for me to review through Bloomsnap. I would recommend this flower shop to everyone whos ever wondered if the flowers they ordered are the flowers that were sent. Thank you for a job well done!

This shop ALWAYS amazes us. They have absolutely gorgeous flowers and arrangements for the prices, and they also have outstanding customer service every time. I honestly couldn’t recommended this shop more. If you’re looking for a local (or non-local) flower delivery or pickup shop, this is the place to go, 100%. Sometimes with big companies or other online stores you never know if you’re getting the quality of the products that are pictured. But with Ponderosa Flower Shoppe, they are somehow even more gorgeous than pictured. I’ve used them several, several times and every single time is an amazing experience. When sending any kind of gift I prefer to use a local shop, rather than a huge chain. Ponderosa was that shop for these flowers. They photographed the actual vase and flowers before making the delivery (you never really know if it will look like the sample photo, right?) which I really appreciate. The bouquet was gorgeous. My person wasnt home when they made the next morning delivery, but they called to tell me it was left on the porch, something else I appreciate -- being informed. Its the difference between buying local and buying from a conglomerate. Thanks, Ponderosa. You did a wonderful job.

2021- Second time using this florist and they exceeded my expectations! The first time with the card issue had to have been a fluke. I went with a different florist last year and I was disappointed with not only the flower quality, but the attitude of the owner. Never again! This may be the shop I continue to use. I’d like to see how long they last this year. But overall great, thanks so much!!2019- The flowers I ordered for my Mom for Mother’s Day were gorgeous. I appreciated the preview photo by email. I did call the store to express that the card was the only issue, but didn’t receive a call back. The card was stuck to the envelope, or itself, I didn’t get to see it in person. My Mom said that she couldn’t read what it said, signature was gone and part of the message too. Overall, I was pleased with this purchase, but the flowers lasted a week. So a bit $$ for one week.

Not only were the flower arrangement and flower box absolutely beautiful and exactly what I ordered, but they called and checked to make sure I placed the order for the right date. I had purchased an arrangement for Mother’s Day, but asked it to be delivered 5 days later (Mom was out of town and wanted it delivered when she returned). Ponderosa Flower Shoppe saw that it was a Mother’s Day gift and called to make sure that I didn’t make a mistake on the delivery date. Now that’s customer service! The delivery process was perfect and they notified me via email exactly when and how it was delivered.

The Ponderosa Flower Shoppe is exceptional in both their customer service and in their exquisite flower designs. I ordered The Sunshine Basket for an older friend turning 90. The things that still bring him joy in life are his pup, plants, and flowers. He was stunned by this gorgeous basket that was fashioned with love and attention to detail. Without a doubt, it was the highlight of his day and week!I now know three people at Leisure Village who all worked with me at a special education school many years ago. I will always order gifts from Ponderosa Flower Shoppe for these friends. If I was looking down from space onto the planet, I would see this little special shoppe radiating with beauty and light. I live out of state now but wanted to order from a local shop for a family members birthday and not 1-800- Flowers to support my hometown. Since my senior prom corsage over 40 years ago, Ponderosa Flower shop has been my default choice to send flowers and plants to my people in Camarillo, especially after I moved away. However, this last Christmas, a particularly stressful one for my family, they neglected to include the card with my delivery, an error that was still causing confusion for my recipient even a month later. When I pointed this out to “Yvonne,” her response was: “I apologize for that! Should not have happened. I will have a talk with my employees to make sure that doesnt happen again.” I pointed out in so many words, that while nice, apologies do not remedy a situation that I already knew should not have happened, nor does making sure her “employees” do not make the same mistake with other customers. I was rather mystified by the tone-deaf reply. In my business, if a customer has an issue, I move immediately to rectify it, whether that means returning her funds, replacing an item, or making it right in some other way that gives her 100% satisfaction. That is part of the reason my customers feel comfortable coming back! She did not think to offer to correct the misunderstanding caused by her employees’ neglect. Surprisingly, she did not offer to make good on her responsibility to deliver the card that went with the arrangement, even late, which would still be useful; why else would I have brought the matter to her attention? These are signs, to me at least, that the proprietor is thinking more of her bottom line than customer service. It would have been so cheap and easy for her to put a small arrangement together and scribble a little note to my recipient explaining her error and clarifying things. Again, I’m mystified.
