Erika Poindexter was recommended to us by our realtor in central California where we sold our longtime mountain home. Greg and Erika were amazing when they helped us find our new home! As first time home buyers, we didn’t know how everything was supposed to go. They made the process so easy and steered us in so many right directions. Both Greg and Erika gave great advice on several houses we looked at, and also never let us give up looking. I would definitely recommend both of them if you are looking to buy a house, both are great and make a great team!

We came to Erika in a whirlwind– an swift job change to an area we were not at all familiar with a very quick turnaround. This was on top of the crazy housing market that had developed only a few months prior. We were very nervous about our house hunt. Erika helped to quell those fears both on the phone and when we were finally able to meet in person. Erika sat us down and helped us understand exactly what we needed to know about the current market and the neighborhoods we were interested in. (She is very knowledgeable about the local areas and suggests the best things to do.) Erika made it a priority to show us the available houses we were interested in, and she advised us when we toured a property that already had an offer on it. She worked with our very tight schedule and updated us every chance she could along the way. She also eased our minds during the offer process . Erika made one of the most stressful situations in life a breeze and made sure that everything went smoothly with our closing. I recommend Erika to everyone I can, and I am confident that if we need to sell in the future, Erika will be our go to. **2024 update**We really appreciate, too, that Erika and the team keep in touch with past clients. As a military family and first time home buyer moving across the country, we couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us! Erika and Greg are fantastic at what they do! They took the time to hear our concerns and needs in what we were looking for in a home and were understanding about our unique situation (which made it hard to make it across the country to see homes periodically as they popped up). When we were finally able to start touring houses, they made a detailed plan for us and we even placed an offer on one of them the following day! Even after closing on our house, they have gone the extra mile to ensure our move is as stress free as possible.We are incredibly grateful for their expertise, and kindness that they have shown us in our journey to find a home. When the house we were renting was about to be put up for sale we had a very short window of time to figure out what we would do, and Erika assured us it was time to buy. Her team worked fast to get us going, and Joe worked hard to send us listings he knew we would love. The whole team was accessible and literally willing to go the extra mile. I needed to buy a house in a hurry, for my parents. Not only did the Poindexter Real Estate Group find multiple beautiful options, they helped us view a few choice properties within a matter of days and get under contract by the end of the week. They also helped us with inspections, re-negotiation, and improvements prior to closing. They are helpful and kind people (and make you feel like their only client- with extremely fast and professional responses). Erika has been absolutely fantastic to work with. I have been working with her since July and shes never let me down! No matter your situation she will be there to help or wait for you while you work on things you need to get to owning a home! She has great recommendations on lenders and the auto emails are my favorite to see whats available in the area on a daily basis. Shes personable and willing to do whatever is needed! Erika made house buying a very easy to understand process. She was very patient with us, as first time home buyers, and made sure to explain everything in ways we understood. She answered all of our questions. One thing that stands out to us, is that from the start, she was attentive and understanding of the type of home and neighborhood we wanted to live in. Instead of showing us random houses or up and coming neighborhoods, she listened to our needs and wants and honed in those. We did not contemplate home buying for a long time because we thought it would be too difficult a process but she made it easy and fun. We love our home, and our neighborhood. We would enthusiastically recommend Erika to anyone we know wanting to buy a home in the region. If we ever sell or buy again we will definitely reach out to Erika again.

This past spring my dad made the hard decision of selling the home he shared with my mom for 20 years. Erika the saint of all saints made this process so easy (as easy as selling a home can be) for him. She answered all the questions he had and answered questions he had not even thought of. She set up time lines and stuck to them. Appointments were kept and phone calls were answered within a timely manner. She weeded through the multiple offers he recorded and helped him decide on the best offer for him. I can not say enough kind things about this team.
