The staff here is exceptional. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning before work, and they called me later that day around lunch with it being ready to go. They’re friendly, helpful, reasonably priced, and make sure you leave feeling confident in their work. I cannot recommend this place enough. If there’s any car issues, bring it in over here!

Been here multiple times, for many types of fixes over the last few years. They communicate well, and are thorough. Offer 6m interest free financing! They are fast and have always done good work. Engine Replacement - awesome job!!Our son moved to Southern Cal from Washington State and sadly the motor in his older Infinti blew up. After deciding to donate the vehicle, Paul suggested looking for a rebuilt motor. He was able to locate one, and we decided to trust his team to get it back on the road. He gave us regular updates and made sure everything was in perfect order before handing back the vehicle. Brought in my 2001 Silverado that was running on its last leg. The fellows at Plus one took it in assess the damage got me back on the road in a day and a half with new upper control, arms, lower control, arms, suspension, accessories alignment oil change for a fraction of the price. Went to paul’s to get a full tune up and 4 tires. they never do you wrong. they are the only honest mechanics i know. i had a rock in my muffler and was prepared to pay a lot extra if it wasn’t a rock but they let me v know it was minor and took that extra off my bill and took the rock out. what kind of mechanic is that honest? Dont go anywhere but Pauls!

I had my tires aligned there. I had used a Groupon deal and they honored it with no issue. My car was taken in within 15 minutes. They promised to have my car done within an hour and they were done prior to that time. They gave me the results of my alignments which I have never received from any other shop. They had recommended that I have my rear alignment camber be replaced with an after market part so that my the OME wouldnt wear out the inner part of my tire fast and unevenly and it does indicate on my alignment report how bad it looked. However, it was going to costs me over $600! I just cant afford it now. Their one mechanic appeared very knowledgeable!Updated: I have returned a week later with my own Rear Alignment Camber parts. I did research and it was like what Marlon, the mechanic there stated it is a factory issue with all Honda CRVs and it is better for it to be replaced with the aftermarket part. Lou, the owner, had Marlon installed it and realigned my car again. I was done within an hour. They showed me the report. I couldnt believe the difference in the result. It was great! I had noticed that on my 1st Alignment report my front Alignment was not perfect like the back one is (not knowing how to read the report correctly being a woman). He told me that reading is fine. Its supposed to be that way. I thought I had needed to save money to come and fixed the front camber, but I liked that Lou is an honest man. He tells you what really needs to be done and what really doesnt needs the work. This is a man with ethics and I really respect that. It is hard to find that nowadays. I highly recommend this shop if you need work done. (Oh and FYI since I had supplied the part, he just charged the labor so it came out to less than $200.)

Wanted 1100+ for a TIPM swap, I did it in 5 minutes for 325. Would have given more stars but they didnt even cover their bases the first time had to go twice. Was told an elaborate story about how my bulbs would intermittently make contact... Good for diagnosis and stuff you absolutely cant do at home I guess.

At a time when it seems you cant find an honest mechanic shop, I think I finally found one.I took my car into Plus 1 Performance Tire after experiencing a severe run-in with a pothole. I needed to replace the tire and they were the nearest authorized Michelin dealer. They replaced & balanced the tire (even gave me a small seniors discount from the original quoted price.I then took the car back to them to do an inspection.I showed up for the scheduled appointment, they were ready for me and immediately took the car in as scheduled, no wait. They corrected the steering & alignment damage, did a complete inspection of the undercarriage, provided me with detailed copies of the work done, as well some recommendations for future service (based on the age/mileage of the car).Theyre a full service shop and I will definitely be taking my car back to them for any future repairs or service. After calling several other shops that turned me away for an alignment on my truck, Plus 1 performance told me to bring it on in. They quoted me a service time and they finished my truck in under-time. Paul was amazing! We were on our vacation to Big Bear when suddenly my transmission began to heat up going into the mountains. I immediately reversed my course into the city to hopefully find a mechanic shop with availabilities. Paul took us right in and thoroughly explained my options. This place may seem great and have many great reviews but my experience there was horrible they did a great job at first I was happy with the alignment job they did. But once I popped my hood to check it out I noticed damage that they didn’t tell me about. When removing my alignment bolt they used a hammer and caused damage to my shock tower and NEVER told me about it. When I texted them the issue they never replied to me. Now the damage it’s dented in on the top of my shock tower. Just upset that they never told me or offer to fix the issue they just ghosted me. Also they are very expensive so also another negative. I paid 300 bucks for an alignment so please go somewhere else. Learn from me lol.

3 times I’ve used this business and each time I felt as if I was dealing with a honest group. The most recent time was this morning when they informed me that I in fact didn’t need an oil change after 5,000 miles due to the type of oil utilized by them on the last oil change. Who does that? No one I’ve ever dealt with in my almost seventy years on this planet. Highly recommend this shop.The review above was 6 months ago. I have subsequently had 2 more interactions that weren’t anywhere near as positive. Charged $24.99 a QUART for Mobil 1 full synthetic that sells for $11.49 a quart at O’Reilly’s. Incredibly disappointed.

I had a tire repair for slow leak, I saw a small nail in tire. When I picked it up they said no nail found but the tire valve stem was leaking and they replaced it. My tire still continued to lose air so I took it back on 5th day. They checked it and they found a NAIL that they said wasn’t there before, unbelievable.. So I got charged again. I feel they are shady, unprofessional and untrustworthy. So with that being said I will never there again to be scammed. Scale 1-10 = -5.

I was very worried about the performance of my 2016 Hyundai until I went Plus 1. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name, but he was very helpful and patient with me when I explained my previous visit with another auto shop a few weeks prior . He went in depth on what were causing the noises in my car, which the other shop didn’t do, and I was very happy when he gave a variety of maintenance options, the price breakdown and how it would affect the performance of my car moving forward. And whatever I wasn’t sure about getting maintained that day he left a note of it on my invoice for me to reference in the future. Very nice auto shop 10/10.

Ozzie helped me out and he was very professional and polite. I was having trouble with my tire pressure sensors and so they recalibrated the system. It didn’t work at first so I brought it back the next day and they replaced the sensor batteries for me for free. Very cool of them. It’s nice to trust a car shop to not gouge you on the price.

From having a wooden stick piercing my tire wall (How is this even possible?), to a dull metal bolt lodging itself in my tire treads causing a flat at midnight.Paul at Plus 1 Performance has been right there to help every time. Not only are they fast and affordable, theyre professional and honest.I had my car towed in, expecting a couple hundred in tire replacement for a flat. Plus 1 had my tire patched up and running in half an hour for under $50. They even checked in a week later to make sure the patch held properly. I took my vehicle to Plus 1 for an alignment. As an ASE mechanic myself I know quality work when I see it. The technician test drove my vehicle before and after the alignment to verify his work. Ive had alignments before and they did the usual put it on the rack and tell you Yup, it needs an alignment. They even gave me the alignment printout results before and after. Even though they were very busy and it was a Saturday (after Thanksgiving), they got me in and out all in under 2 hours. Pauls quality of service included a follow up text from him the next week to verify I was satisfied. Very hard to find automobile repair service like this in this area. I was having some significant problems with my car for over a year an a half. I took it to three different repair shops, one I took it back to because the problem wasn’t fixed. The interaction with the customers, employees and general teamwork in analyzing problems.When I finally got thoroughly frustrated with the lack of competency with the repairs I had experienced I decided to take it there. I made an appointment and when I took it in I spoke with Lou. I told him about all of the things that had been repaired on my car and how long it had been malfunctioning he looked at me like I had to be kidding.Plus 1 finally was able to repair my car and it has been running great ever since! They were all very curteous, friendly and I would trust them with my car anytime!!!! It is such a relief to have my old car back! A few days ago I was having issues with my Toyota Sienna vibrating when it reached a certain speed. I recently had and oil change and tires rotated from a different location. I got a nail in my tire. I was dropping my husband off at work and Plus 1 is located directly across from them so I stopped to see if I could get my tire fixed. They are very professional and friendly. They had no problem fitting me into their busy schedule. They are very honest and up front. I have two vehicles both of them are 97 Dodgers one is a 1500 pickup and the other one is a 2500 conversion van for my special needs daughter. I recently had a flat tire develop stranding me on the highway the day before I was supposed to work. I went through yelp to find local options for tire replacement in my area and happened to call Plus 1 Performance first. Service was great, they got me new tires and gave me a promotional price to help me out. I was told that they had exactly the tire size for me.Bad news, is that I live up the nearby mountain, and this winter, there was a ton of snow that necessitated the need for chains. And what I discovered, is that they gave me slightly larger tires than the ones I asked for.Which meant my chains didnt fit. And when I called to ask if there was any way to could help me, I was told that there wasnt, that they werent responsible for that or liable for it, even though THEY were the ones to give me tires that werent the size I said I needed.They went on to clarify that they remembered me, and that they did, have the tires I asked for when I came in, but that someone who had arrived earlier than me ended up giving them to that person. And that I wasnt, you know, informed that they no longer had the tires I needed, but you saved so much money getting the larger tires at the smaller tires price.And so, the money they saved me, ended up not even covering the cost of the new chains I needed to get to fit the new tires they gave me.So, you know, super friendly service, theyre very willing to work with you then and there, but once you leave, if you have any issues, it isnt their fault and you shouldnt bother them about it.

Very helpful staff.. I was greeted buy the owner before i even got to the door. They even tried my tires on my jeep before i purchased them to insure there would be no rubbing. Tires fit great, and the owner gave me a fare price, for a high quality tire.

I am somewhat new to the area and I needed workon my 2011 jeep.I was planning to take a trip across the country pulling a trailer with my jeep that had sat idle for 3 years and was worried about it making the trip.In addition to the things I planned on having done like tires and brakes, I asked them to do a complete checkup and explain the trip I was planning.They were fair and professional and I made the trip 2 227 miles pulling a trailer without incident.They have helped me out a couple times now and I would recommend them to everyone

I needed a smog check . Called the shop at 8:05 on a Saturday. They said come in and we will take care of you right away. They were not kidding! I was done by 8:30 and the cost was 5 bucks less than quotes. Friendly, fast and less than expected! I will definitely be returning.

If memory serves me, I have been a customer of Paul’s Plus 1 Performance since the 90’s. My wife’s 2014 GMC Acadia has been rather shakey and bouncy over the slightest pothole or imperfections. Since it still runs good, I knew some new tires and suspension repairs were needed. Instead of taking it to a dealership I called Paul and knew he would have the right solution. I took the Acadia in a few weeks after talking to Paul. They gave me a ride home because several repairs needed to be done. After paying the bill I drove it home. The Acadia felt stable and composed.. I can count on Paul’s Plus 1 to do a great job! if anything goes wrong, they will correct it ASAP!

Very helpful staff. The mechanics/technicians are very good and informative. i use to take my cars to pep boys but had a bad experience with them last time, so decided to try something new. These guys are legit and do honest, fast and reliable work. They were able to diagnose my wifes car problems and now, no problems. They showed me how bad the spark plugs were before they put in the new ones...im gonna start going here from now on. Theres no BS with these guys.

I have been going to Plus one over two years now. I have nothing but good service, fast, honest work done. The guys have never forced me into getting something I cant afford. I have been two plenty of shops and this place is the only one that I have been to where I have felt like they respect there customers. Ive bought tires and had oil changed in the past. But today I pulled in only because one tire was low. These guys checked all four tires air pressure and treated with courtesy and gave me coffee like I was a paying customer. Stellar service you dont get nowadays

My light for low tire pressure came on in my dash so i went to plus 1 performance tire pros. I went straight into the office and asked if they could check my tires for me. They did not hesitate. The guy in the office came out right away and had one of the mechanics check my tires. Not only did he put in air in all of them but also educated me on how to turn my sensor off. Great place. Im coming back for sure.

I don’t often leave reviews for companies but when I do it’s for a good reason. I recently had my front tire replaced at American Tire Depot. My TPS light came on so I stopped in and the employee told me my front tire was leaking. There was a bulge on the sidewall so I thought nothing of being presented with the option to purchase a new tire. The tire was installed in the parking lot, as they were very busy that afternoon. I paid, got my keys and got into my car. I immediately noticed the TPS light was still on, I went back inside and told the kid who helped me. He came outside with a “diagnostic tool” and ran it across the tires and said “mam unfortunately all of your Tire Pressure sensors are bad” I asked how long and what the cost was to replace them, he rattled off “somewhere in the neighborhood after installation around $400”. I told him I could not afford them right now but I would come back later in the week after payday and have them swapped out, I asked this employee if my vehicle was safe to drive, he said “yeah don’t even sweat it”Fast forward to four days later, 8pm and I’m driving on the 91 freeway. My rear tire blows out and I almost loose control of my vehicle. I safely make it to the median, but I have no spare (the manufacture does not provide one for this model) I am stranded on the side of the freeway until AAA shows up. I google the nearest tire shop to my home, I find Plus One Performance on Highland Avenue. It is literally in my backyard. It’s late and they are closed so I figure I can take my car there first thing in the morning. I am towed home, and left with the sickening feeling that had all my tires just been checked at American Tire Depot, this might have never happened.I call Plus One early the next morning, I am greeted by the friendliest woman who doesn’t transfer my call or put me on hold, I give her the tire size (low profile tire, not a normally stocked size) and she informs me that she has them in stock. Mounted balanced in and out $100. I explain to her I have to have the vehicle towed in and she says “absolutely no problem, have them drop it right in front and we will get you taken care of”When I get there, I am greeted almost immediately, a gentleman takes my keys and they go to work. Every single bay is full, mechanics and installers buzzing about and customers waiting for their cars to be finished. I am told they want to make sure the rim is in good condition as the tire had significant damage. I notice the attention to detail, the checking of air pressure on all the other tires and the quick looks to see if my brake linings are in good condition. The service was professional, the shop was clean, and the attitudes were friendly. This is what consumers expect when they are getting service on their vehicles.Paul and the folks at Plus One literally won a lifelong customer that day. Knowledgeable, Friendly and full of Integrity. I left that day, with amazing service, my vehicle drivable, my TPS light off, money in my wallet and the security of knowing all of my other tires were in good condition. The icing on the cake for me was when the owner personally reached out via text to ask me how my service was, and how the car was driving...?!! These guys ARE the Tire Buisness, 100% the real deal! I had a flat tire in big bear on a Sunday, and no tire places were open. There was no way we would have made the 3 hour drive home on my bad spare. We called plus one performance and not only were they incredibly nice, but they also stayed open for us. They closed at 4:00, and we werent even going to get there until 4:00. They stayed open and fixed out tire! Plus, they helped us unload all our luggage from the back so they could put the spare back in. They are great! my only complaint is that they arent located near where I live, because I want them to be my go to for car issues!

I was heading up to Big bear to snowboard and of course I punctured my tire on my side wall and had to get towed. They dropped us off at Plus 1 and didn’t know how long it would take. They were very fast to get my tire I needed sent to their shop and we were out of there within 30 min. I thought our snowboard day was over but they saved the day!

I am modifying my review. I returned to Plus One and Paul really took care of us. We purchased new tires and after picking up the car we went down the street to do some shopping. When we got back to the car, it wouldnt start. I called Paul and he sent someone to jump start our car. Then he replaced our battery almost at cost. He really went above and beyond!

I took our truck in for an oil change. When I got home, oil was dripping on our driveway. The oil plug was very loose! After tightening it myself, I took our truck back right away. They shop supervisor never apologized for the mistake. Instead, he pointed out oil seepage at other areas around the engine. His lack of concern was very disappointing especially since we had been regular customers there.
